Ottimo servizio, ottimo posto e ottimo cibo! In quanto celiaco non è facile trovare un locale già attrezzato per fornire pasti senza glutine, Al Garitta invece sì. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti i biker, i semplici passanti e agli intolleranti al glutine.

Quando, in estate, vengo a Torriglia tutte le mattine vado al BAR AL GARITTA e trovo o il titolare MARCO, gentilissimo e sempre disponibile con tutti, o una signorina che è l'immagine della gentilezza e cortesia. I prodotti sono tutti di prima qualità che uniti alle gentilezze di cui sopra completano il quadro di un locale da tenere in considerazione...

The place, at 1,400 meters above sea level, is primarily a restaurant and bar, but it's also a hotel where I stayed for 4 nights. The room was beautiful, clean, and tidy, and had everything I needed despite its limited space—even a table with a chair, and there was plenty of room anyway. The bathroom even had a bidet and a hairdryer! I had lunch and dinner there every day, and the full-board menu offered a choice of two first courses, two second courses, and cheese, fruit, or dessert. Drinks and coffee were not included. The menu for this meal was completely different and always very good, reflecting the flavors one expects in the mountains. I never had breakfast because, since I did astrophotography at night, I went to bed in the morning, and I must say I was never disturbed by noise or loud voices from the hotel staff, so they were very attentive. I give it 5 stars because it's difficult to live and serve in such a remote place, and they do it admirably. The place is truly beautiful, it seems like paradise with the deer that wander around in large numbers every day and the fabulous view from up there, where you can even see the Genoese sea and the Po Valley.

We went horseback riding for the second time during the August bank holiday. The accommodation was ideal for us; it's hard to find better, especially for our horses. Good hay and a guaranteed rest in the shelter. So we spent 4 peaceful days. The owners were fantastic, a family always ready to help us. For the second time, we had a great time. In fact, we'll definitely be back!! The surrounding areas are wonderful. I definitely recommend it!

We stopped for one night with a group of hikers on the Via del Sale. The owners welcomed us and put up with us, despite us being a large and noisy group. The rooms are just the right size and truly comfortable. The food is fantastic: we had bread, ravioli, tagliolini with mushrooms, and several other main courses, all delicious. I had been there five years ago and still remembered how good the tagliolini with mushrooms were. This time, too, they lived up to our expectations; highly recommended. The next morning, when we woke up to snow, the owners offered to drive some of us to the bus stop. Truly kind.

Localino piccolo ma accogliente La ragazza ci ha accolto con sorriso e pazienza nonostante avessimo 5 bimbi piccoli a seguito. I prodotti come la carne sono di ottima qualità. Birre buone e artigianali. Ho dato 2 stelle al servizio non per la ragazza che ci ha servito,ma semplicemente per 2 cose. La prima è che era solissima nonostante ci fosse un po' di gente e doveva badare a panino, bar, tavoli, caffè etc. La seconda non mi piace dove non esiste un menu cartaceo o on line dove puoi vedere almeno i prezzi e scegliere con calma i panini. Ti dicono la lista delle cose da. mangiare e non sai nemmeno quanto andrai a pagare. Noi abbiam pagato 6 adulti e 5 bimbi(che hanno diviso i panini quindi come 3 adulti) 84 euro che sono corretti ed economici per il servizio dato.

Gentili e disponibili, ho mangiato un buon panino.

A nice spot in the hills of the province of Genoa, a decent, unpretentious restaurant. There were three of us and we ate well, but unfortunately it was packed, and not all the diners were polite. The restaurant is dated but nice and clean, although they do allow dogs. At one table, they even had three, and I saw one wandering around the kitchen. Dogs should stay out of the dining rooms, especially the kitchens. The service leaves a bit to be desired, inattentive and slow. For example, they don't mention that those who order an appetizer eat immediately, while those at the same table who don't choose one and want to wait for the other table to eat the main course together have to wait an hour! They let everyone in at the same time, but due to the constant distractions, some tables finish their lunch after 40 minutes, while others, even if they choose the same courses, finish after 1.5 hours. The food is good, and the meat is excellent. The price is more than fair and correct. It's worth going back but it needs to improve.

An early summer lunch. Good value (around €20-25): a mixed antipasti menu with excellent cured meats, ravioli al tocco, tagliolini with mushrooms, pesto lasagna, roast beef, meat with mushrooms, battered vegetables, etc., and a variety of classic desserts: chocolate salami, rose parfait, etc.) and excellent bottles of wine (e.g., Finigeto). It's worth a drive to enjoy the fresh air and a stroll through the Ligurian Apennines.

Beautiful places, good food, inexpensive... Sunday lunch with my wife at this mountain trattoria on the slopes of Antola. The provincial road to get there is a bit bumpy, but there's convenient parking in front of the restaurant, and the day is magnificent, with spectacular views of the green Ligurian hinterland. There's no menu; the list of dishes is provided verbally by the waiters (all wearing masks). We skipped the appetizers, moving straight to the first courses: ravioli with meat sauce (plenty, delicious, and al dente) and lasagna alla valdostana (good). Then the second courses, two roasts with potatoes (decent), desserts, rose semifreddo (good if you like very sweet things) and fruit salad with ice cream (ok). Water and finally coffee to finish. The service was courteous and fairly quick; we were finished in just over an hour. Restrooms in good condition. To help you digest, there are many different walks available for everyone in the surrounding area or to Lake Brugneto. I'm attaching a receipt to demonstrate the excellent prices: the two of us spent €42.70. We'll definitely be back.

Buono per una sosta aperitivo con birra o vino. L'Hamburger poteva essere buono, peccato che non hanno scongelato bene il pane. Ampia scelta di vini in bottiglia.

A typical but unpretentious restaurant, it's a refuge after all. The food is just right for a quick lunch. I recommend this restaurant for those passing through and/or returning from a trip for a quick snack. Excellent location and panoramic views.

They didn't give us a dish until 13:30, with a thousand people at work, no seats available, and three cats in the dining room! We managed to get a platter of questionable quality; only the blue cheese and another cheese were excellent. Sufficient courtesy, but unexpected coldness and empathy, "Central Milan." Prices are okay. My son gets one star, the sandwich is horrible, but I get four.

Appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, coffee, and a quarter of wine are all 25 euros. The price is fine. If you're going for a ride or a walk and don't want to bring sandwiches, it's fine. Don't expect huge portions; after all, it's like eating at home, with simple cuisine. Would I go back? I don't know, we'll see.

Abbiamo preso hamburger e patatine, malgrado la buona volontà e la cura messa dal personale,i prodotti usati erano di scarsa qualità, quindi il cibo non è dei migliori. Per definirsi hamburgeria bisognerebbe usare prodotti di qualità migliore magari fatti con carni fresche.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant wasn't a positive one. Reservations are required, so we booked for 7:30 PM. They asked us to wait outside until 8 PM to be called. There's no menu; the dishes are listed by the waiter once he comes to take your order, and that would be fine, but there's a problem: the dishes aren't clearly specified. For example, the tagliolini with mushroom ragù were presented to us as "taglierini al sugo" (taglierini with sauce); only after they were brought to the table did we find out what kind of sauce it actually had. Or, for the main course, the dish was "meat with mushrooms." What kind of meat? Again, you can only find out when the dish is brought to the table. Lastly, it's absurd that we were asked to hurry because the next shift was starting, yet we were made to wait 40 minutes for each order. In the end, we were trying to order dessert and were told to hurry. I give it 2 stars because the mushroom ragù was fortunately really good, but I don't recommend the place.

The view is wonderful, but the food quality is truly awful. I don't know what happened, but something must have changed in the last few months. You can no longer choose from a menu; everyone is served the same dishes. The overcooked and bland dishes were coming out of the kitchen extremely slowly, one at a time and practically haphazardly, so much so that they didn't start serving the main courses until over an hour and a half later. What a shame, a lot of time was wasted.

High prices for the overall poor quality. We stayed one night with half board. The rooms are nice, in the sense that a mountain hostel has low ceilings and furniture, even if a bit spartan, is appropriate for the surrounding environment. But guests at least want comfort: the beds are hard as marble, and honestly, if I pay 60 euros, I'd like to sleep well, especially in a place where people go mainly for mountain hikes and want to rest a bit when they return. We slept with the window open because there was a terrible musty smell. The food also leaves much to be desired; everything was too stale: stale bread, slices of breakfast cake at least four days old, greenish French fries. If they gave it a good makeover and put more passion into the cooking, given its location, it would be fantastic.
