I don't eat anywhere else when it comes to chicken tenders I've been coming here since I was 12 or or so and it's always been beast, eat here an you'll see what I mean keep it up guyz

I have been coming to golden chick since I was a kid. Love there gravey. And there chicken. Also when lent comes around there fish is soo good.

Man I love going here. I prefer to go in but the drive thru is good too. I use the app to order when I forget my wallet so that is useful. One time the app scheduled my order for the next day but they were super helpful and gave me my food still. Can't wait for my next visit.
We were passing thru Lockhart and stopped to grab a bite. They were swamped when arrived but the Manager Itianna and her team handled the rush like some pros. She was making sure all customers eating were doing well in the lobby even with the orders flowing nonstop. She had her team on point and was very professional. Thank you. Food was cooked just right. And some good as sweet tea!!!!
I love their tiny crushed ice. Their chicken is delicious. Their fries always hot. But their hot fresh rolls are the absolute best!
This was a pit stop for us while we were driving to the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience. We were very impressed at how this store was being run! Food was piping hot and fresh. We didn’t have to wait long for our order as well. Service was top notch as well! Bathrooms were clean. Dining room is a little on the small side but they were keeping it clean nonetheless. Great job guys! Keep up the great work!
This location has the best chicken in the area. It never disappoints. The manager is outstanding as well as the rest of the staff. The owner is lucky to have this lady! She always offers excellent service and ask if we enjoyed our meal.
The employees really outdid themselves with my food!!! I wanted only chicken strips & my box was bursting with the strips which were fresh, flaky, & fantastic! 😘 I love my Lockhart Golden Chick! 😋
This is a rating for fast food, so it isn't compared to a nice restaurant. So the food was better than expected and the service was great. I wish I remembered the staff's names they were awesome (they were working Monday morning on 5/20/24). GIVE THEM RAISES! They were polite, fast, and helpful. I think I liked the staff most of all.
Food was great. The employees were exceptional! The gentleman at the counter looked you in the eye, spoke clearly, gave suggestions, and paid attention to detail. This day & age that doesn't happen. Both employees at the counter were top notch! As a business owner myself, I would hire them. Great job manager!
As always I wasn't disappointed... this time I just got the chicken 8 piece....so good that I almost finished it by myself...yes there is 5 piece left but I want it for a midnight snack later.. would go there 2 or 3 times a week if it didn't take me an hour to get there..
I've always liked Golden Chick, but I'm done with this location. I can't even count the times they messed my order up. I don't want the sauce on the chicken sandwich because it makes the bun all soggy. So I order it without sauce. I usually have to repeat it a couple times. They have repeated it back to me, but when I get it, it has sauce on it, and it's soggy. Sorry Golden Chick, but I'm done
Don't get the fish and shrimp. This fish is catfish and it didn't taste good. It wasn't spoiled, I guess I just don't like Catfish. They need to stick to chicken
We went yesterday to try the fish and shrimp deal it wasn't what we thought it be the max looked like mashed potatoes and shrimp was small and the fish was cold and no favor at all.and for the cook to brag about it how good it was.he needs to learn in how to cook it was nasty you can taste the fishy flavor no season at all and rolls were cold and old they prep way too early and leave it there for hours.not going back very sad y'all need a better cook
I’m not one to leave reviews but an order two kids meals and they just threw all the tenders and fries in the bag do they not come in paper bags? The tenders where really dry like I’ve they been sitting there for a minute. I called and phones don’t work!! Definitely first and last time I’ll be getting food there!
Should've just stuck to Chicken Express when it comes to Lockhart. I asked for fries got two orders of okra. I asked for spicy got two regular. The chicken tender portions are tiny now and price is up like cmon.
The guy working the window Sunday 12/28/25 in the evening is the rudest service window employee I’ve dealt with. Very short with conversation, no manners. Handed me my food and just walked off. Looked at me like I was dumb when I asked if I got everything. I got home and my sides were missing…
