Ribs and chic breast so good , beans were excellent

In town for the holidays and was recommended here. The food was AMAZING! I had the Cuban sandwich & my husband had the ribs 👌 So good! Service was excellent! Justin (Justine?) was super friendly and attentive! She was very patient with our indecisiveness 😬 We went with her suggestions & could not have been happier!

Pulled pork was delicious. Fish fry was wonderful. Coleslaw was a little too thick with mayonnaise. Prices are reasonable.

The food is always wonderful. The BBQ spaghetti 🍝 on Tuesdays and the double smoked burnt ends on thursday are both amazing!!! There are only 4 or five beers on tap, though. Not much of an alcohol selection.

We don't have a great BBQ place like this near home, probably just as well as I would skip grocery shopping and go there for all meals. Had the smoked wings, excellent. Also had a fish fry, fish was great, moist and delicious inside with a crunchy coating. Fries were perfect. Also had the pig pile, we took a lot of food home as the servings are huge. I had the Memphis sandwich, pulled pork and slaw. Size was great bbq was perfect, fries were crispy and yum.

Delicious food. I got the brisket with cornbread and coleslaw. The brisket was fabulous and tender practically melting in your mouth. Cornbread just outstanding. Relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Dress code is casual. Service is great. Prices are reasonable. Very important to me was acceptance of my little service dog, Alex a 7.6 lb Maltese. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Any place where the ribs are described as having the rub but if you want sauce they'll be happy to put it on, is a place where you know they're doing it right. The ribs were juicy, and pulled cleanly off the bone with no effort, but also without just falling off. That's about as perfect as it gets. My only complaint is that the sides offered don't include such items as green beans, greens, or pinto beans. That's not reason enough to drop a star, but I hope that they take notice that some people might want some vegetables or other non carb-loaded sides. The atmosphere is homey and the service is fast, friendly, and efficient.

I haven't been that satisfied with a meal in a long time. Maybe it was because my body needed the the protein or maybe it was because the double smoked cut brisket tips, one of the Specials that day, melted in my mouth. I thank myself for following my prompting to stop there and eat that day. I am going to make it one of my usual stops now. Service was great, food was superb, and tasty. Worth every penny.

Me and my family went to one eyed jacks last night for dinner. It was some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. Everything was seasoned just right including the mac & cheese they had a little bit of zing to it. The ribs were absolutely amazing and my wife had a chicken which was outstanding as well. Bree our server was extremely kind and very attentive. I would highly recommend are you going there if you’re looking for outstanding barbecue.

I'm from the South and so I tried the Southern fried catfish. It was delicious, so I can say it is Southern approved, at least from me!

First off I would like to say the service was exceptional. Our server Charley was a delight. She was very knowledgeable of all the menu items and her recommendations were perfect. The food was delicious especially the smoked wings and burnt ends. I will definitely be returning to this barbecue gem.

I absolutely love a good barbecue (this is not it) ... this is a Great Barbecue food restaurant! I have never been here before, I don't even live in the area. I only came here on the trust of a family member. Boy was I not disappointed by the food or service. Just walking up to the entrance...oh man the smell of the smoked brisket and pork made my mouth water! I ended up ordering a wonderful sandwich called the Pigken, (a wonderful combination of pulled pork and smoked pulled chicken breast wonderful seasonings of honey garlic). It was served on a wonderful soft roll and a side of French Fries that had a nice seasoning. The sandwich had a wonderful taste of both of the meats, juicy and tender. 100% would return to try as many of the other foods created and served here.

One of the best BBQ places in Western NY. Great serving staff and all around excellent food. All the sides are top notch as well (especially the Corn Bake). Favorites include the brisket and ribs (especially with their Sticky Bourbon sauce). Bar is solid with several good on tap beer selections. My only suggested improvement would be a dedicated outdoor dining area. There are so many great places to dine outdoors in the area that we sometimes skip One-Eyed Jacks just for this reason. Overall, top notch food across the board and popular for good reason.

When I first entered the restaurant I was greeted by both the person working behind the bar and the waitress that would be serving us. Both were very friendly. Overall service was excellent! Our waitress was very polite and had our order out timely. I had ordered a cheese burger which was cooked exactly the way I like it, with a little pink, medium well. When leaving we were treated with the same quality of customer service as when we entered. I can easily see myself coming back.

From out of town visiting and needed a place to feast as we were famished. A quick search of what’s nearby and this place popped up. What for me was the tag line... “Eat here or we’ll both starve”. Well, since they knew how we were feeling, this was the only choice. We both got what was special, homemade Mac n cheese topped with pulled port and some garlic toast, my bride got the burnt ends brisket with a side of cornbread casserole and garlic toast. Both came with a salad. YEP! This is now our new fav place in WNY... (Reeds and Lock City Pizza, don’t worry, you’re on that same list... the top three places I go when I come back home to visit). Food was to die for. Homemade spicy A1 sauce.. grabbed one to go. Burnt ends were amazing. Homemade Mac n cheese... yep, spot on! Thanks Ashleigh for the suggestions! Delicious!!!

Great food at bargain prices. Had the rib and pigkin combo and added Mac and cheese and bbq beans. First our waitress was wonderful! She was very pleasant and very attentive. The ribs I had dry and put on my own sauce. Wonderful flavor with out the sauce and better with. Pigkin was very tasty and so were the beans. The Mac and cheese was good but not great in my mind but that's my opinion. Over all I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is one of my favorite BBQ places around. I’m a big fan of the Brunswick stew, pulled pork, and the pigken. The pigken is so good that it doesn’t need additional bbq sauce on it. My favorite side is the corn bread casserole- so good!

Hands down the best BBQ in Lockport. Expansive menu options. Comfortable atmosphere. Great service. And reasonable places. Very accommodating of families. The sides are to die for, and the BBQ options like nothing in the area. Definitely coming back

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and ate at the bar. I think they were a bit busier than usual being the day before the Super Bowl, as we saw a lot of large to-go orders. Even so, the service was very friendly and attentive (Kendrick was great!). The pulled pork was perfect - not too fatty and had great flavor. It came unsauced and I topped it with the hot BBQ which was excellent. The chicken wasn’t super flavorful on its own but was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy. Again, a perfect vessel for their sauces. Mac and cheese had TINY bit of spice to it, think black pepper, which I enjoyed but I know can be off putting to some. Fries were crispy and served hot. My husband said he enjoyed everything on his 4 meat “high roller” plate as well. Great food, great experience.

Have been there several time for their excellent ribs!! It would be perfect if they offered a low cal side like steamed broccoli or green beans. The food is consistently great :-)

We stopped in tonight after a really rough day; I was working in the area earlier & lost one of my favourite pairs of sunglasses. We went back to look for them but didn't find them; my friend had mentioned that One Eyed Jacks had great BBQ & I hadn't eaten since breakfast. Our server JEN was so polite to us right from the beginning & it truly turned our day around. My friend recommended the brisket sandwich & I love Kimmelweck rolls; Jen offered to ask the cooks if they could make one for me & they did which was super awesome!! It turned out perfect & the fried pickles were the Best ones we've had in the area; we try them everywhere we see them on a menu & One Eyed Jack's topped the charts!! Jen & One Eyed Jacks made a rough day memorable for much better reasons & I will ask for her every time we come back!! Thanks again Jen for EVERYTHING!!

Absolutely fantastic barbecue. I love a good catfish fry having spent many years down south with the military. My only Mark against this place is no hush puppies with the catfish. Brisket however and all the other smoked goods are fantastic. Our service has always been fantastic every time we've been.

This is the second year in a row I have used One Eyed Jacks for a large catering event. I ordered several pounds of pulled pork, and both times it was a huge hit! With the small rolls, the house and hot BBQ sauces, it was a perfect addition to our events. People kept asking me where the pork was from, as they really enjoyed it. The food was hot, moist, and delicious! We will definitely be back!

As a family of 4 we ordered as much off of the menu as we could so we could try everything. The sides were top tier, especially the corn bake, it was the closest I’ve ever had to my mom’s cornbread casserole. For meats, we got the pigkin, pulled pork, brisket, and Jack’s chicken. The star of the show was Jack’s chicken for me, I was able to literally shake the drumstick and thigh meat off of the bone. All the meat seems to be seasoned very simply and allows the smoke and natural flavor take front and center stage. The hot BBQ, house BBQ, and honey-garlic BBQ sauce were delicious, they’d genuinely be great on anything. The wait staff was friendly and on top of things, they even took our picture and seemed elated that we stopped to get a pic in the front of house with their logo. 10/10, I wish I lived closer so I could come back and enjoy meals here on a weekly basis. Definitely worth the trip whether you’re local or just visiting. Pro tip, if you want a huge meal for a low cost get the pig pile plate and I almost guarantee you’ll be leaving with delicious leftovers.

The servers are super welcoming and warm. The menu is simple and straight to the point, and well thought out. The frenchfries were super tasty, and the brisket is fall apart, melt in your mouth! Their house sauce is flavorful and tangy~♡

Always great food and service. I have never had a bad meal here. The ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken are always perfectly smoked and hot. We've also had turkey and ham and they too are delicious. Update 03/21/23. I had the Cuban which was fantastic and my spouse had the Ham Slam which she declared was incredible. I'd never seen this as a lunch special but it's one we'd certainly have again!

Excellent Ribs, brisket and pulled pork. Cornbread casserole is a must! I've been going to one eye jacks for about five years at this point. They always offer consistently good service and too notch BBQ. They have even made efforts to try on offer lighter dishes, like their brisket salad. But if you're going to a barbecue joint chances are you're looking for meat. And I would highly recommend going with at least a two meat platter. Bring a date, and have her get the ribs.

Went here for lunch with my mom. It was so good! We shared the 1/2 rack of ribs with two sides. Fries and Mac n cheese. The fries were hot and freshly made. The Mac and cheese was delicious with a little kick of spice to it. Honestly it might have been the best Mac n cheese I have ever had. The ribs were moist, flavorful and fell right off the bone. We had them basted in their house sauce. But they have 3 speciality sauces as well or you can have them just “bare” with their house spices. They also come already cut so it’s that much easier to enjoy them. Oh and their garlic bread is something else. It’s just plain but very tasty and goes well with the meal. I also had their hone made sweet tea and it was so good I got a to go cup. Lastly we took home a slice of peanut butter pie, so so so good. Definitely homemade. Can’t wait to come back and visit!

Pulled pork dinner is my go to. Side dishes are delicious. My wife enjoys the catfish dinner. Food is good and the staff friendly.

Amazing food! I've recommended them to every BBQ lover I know and none of them were disappointed. Everyone loves their Burnt Ends, which is the nice end part of the brisket that most people fight over. I personally love their BBQ chicken. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Always a good time

I got the brisket-topped salad. The brisket was sliced (I prefer chopped, but they don't offer that). It didn't have much flavor, but their bbq sauces made up for that. The sticky bourbon and honey garlic were particularly flavorful and unique. The salad greens were fresh and the server was friendly.

I’m not a huge barbecue fan but, the food was really good here. The baked beans were delicious as was the pulled pork. Service was great as well. This would be high on my list if I had a craving for barbecue. I’d suggest getting there early if you want to try the specials… they run out due to high demand.

Brisket dinner was delicious and tender. Not a fan of sweet in macaroni and potato salads especially when beans with bbq are sweet. Service was great. I know prices have gone up but the quantity just doesn’t fulfill that’s the only reason for 4 stars. There’s actually more sides than meat.

If you love smoked meat, cold beer and fresh burgers this place is for you. Sampled wings, nachos and a burger. All were good but the burger had the freshest pickle slices, lettuce and tomato I've seen in a while. It's the little things that make a perfect burger.

Tonight, my wife and I had a superb baked fish fry. The smoked bake potatoe complimented the dish. We opted to eat at the bar, and the two servers were excellent as a team, keeping up with the crowd as gracious to all. My thanks to Brie and Alex on a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the meal this establishment.

The fries here are awesome. Our brisket and pork were thoroughly cooked and tender but with no wood-smoked flavor. Having grown up in the South, this always disappoints me. Spent about $53 for two sandwiches, brunswick stew, a beer and a Coke: yes, they have Coke products + tip. The fried catfish seems like a great value. Wish I had ordered that.

My husband really likes BBQ, me on the other hand well let's just say life would be a happy place without and I wouldn't miss it. Let me also add I HATE ribs. Now with all that out if the way my husband and I stopped for lunch after a procedure I had done and this was the closest place. I figured I could get a salad or something and since my husband never gets to eat any of this BBQ stuff when we go out I thought it would be a nice treat for him. I ordered the rib plate +2 meats and it comes with 2 sides and I added 1 more side. Let me tell you how much this place changed my mind on BBQ & ribs! The food was amazing!!! The ribs were fall off the bone tender and I actually liked them. I had included with my plate was the Pigken (pulled perked & smoked chicken shredded) with a garlic honey sauce, not sloppy saucey, but just awesomeness and also included on my plate was the brisket and it was really good also. Probably my least favorite out of the 3 but good. My plate came with 2 sides like I stated earlier plus I added 1 more. My mac & cheese was good, I'm very picky about mac & cheese but this one was good! Looks like it was gonna be dry but it wasn't, my coleslaw was amazing, but I am a coleslaw junkie, not gonna lie, this slaw is a bit on the sweeter side which I personally like but just so your aware. Then I had the BBQ baked beans and they were soooo good. My husband had the 1/2 of chicken which was good and french fries also good fries plus the coleslaw. The causes they provide are also really tasty. The regular one has a good taste and the hot sauce is just like the regular but hot. Did I add I don't like hot/spicy foods either. But this sauce was (hot) was pretty tasty. It's not hot like a chicken wing hot or spicy like a chinese food spicy it was just good! Over all I would definitely go back here. If they can make a gal like me actually enjoy a smoke BBQ house/ restaurant than they are most definitely doing something right. Thank you for the wonderful experience. The place is small with not a lot of tables and a bar that takes up the whole side entrance so it's nothing fancy but it's got great food. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name) but she was the only one working the day we went there (2/16/2021) she was amazing, very pleasant and took care of all the tables very well all by herself. I'm sure there was a cook or something there but she was the only one working the front of the house. You now have a new customer.

Service was outstanding. Prices were fair. I got the 5 wings to go for hubby . I had hearty Burnwick stew and a side salad. The stew was thick with plenty of veggies. It was a bit too sweet. I would have preferred a bit spicy to sweet.

We were sat in a small room outside the main dining room. Felt cramped. Ribs were so dry and overdone. BBQ sauce: terrible. Tasted like vinegar and catsup. The only thing I liked were the sides.

It was a nice place very cozie , we had to wait about 10 minutes before the hostess noticed we were there. We had the ribs with pulled pork and the ribs with chicken, macaroni and cheese and baked beans the pork and the chicken was good and the sides were good the ribs I have had better my husband makes better smoked ribs and the garlic toast that came with it was toasted on one side which was burnt very burnt for the 2 of us to have lunch and one from each came to $60 before tip. So I guess if you really want really good BBQ I would try looking around if you just want so so BBQ then by all means visit this place. The waitress was nice she only checked on us twice while we were there almost an hour.

Good portion sizes….bbq was Ok…Reuben sandwich was exceptional. More of a lunch place than dinner. Order early as wait times on weekends is 60 minutes +.

First, I'll say that the service here is fantastic. Everyone was very friendly. I'm giving two stars because the brisket had absolutely no smoke flavor and tasted more like a version of roast beef. The turkey and "pigken" (pulled pork and pulled chicken together) were pretty good. The sides were ok, but not very flavorful. I guess I just expected more smoke flavor from a place that calls itself a BBQ joint.

Staff was friendly, atmosphere was cute, but the food meh. Not as good as the hype. The meat was dry, sides were average, BBQ so/so...But the steak tips were good.

2nd time I have tried it and the food just isn't for me. Mac salad tasted store bought and sweet, coleslaw was flavorless, burger was dry and over cooked, pretzel appetizer was burnt, fish was over cooked. Only positive: the bread was amazing on my burger and the fries were good.

Had ribs and brisket with fries and coleslaw. My guest had ribs, brisket with mac n cheese and coleslaw. We both thought the ribs seemed a bit dry. Brisket was just ok. Nothing special. The mac n cheese was disappointing because you expect it to have the cheesy crust but it was more creamy with some shredded cheese sprinkled on top. The biggest disappointment was the coleslaw. I asked prior to ordering if the coleslaw was creamy and included that vinegary tang and the server assured me it was and that it was delicious. Unfortunately It was flavorless. It tasted like wet shredded cabbage. It was limp and Had very Little dressing with no flavor. Coleslaw should be pretty easy. I could not even finish it.

Unfortunately, my family and I couldn’t help but feel racially profiled at this establishment. We were a party of 5 and quoted 30-45 mins. After 35 minutes we noticed parties of 2 and 3 who came in after us were getting seated, fine. Then I started to notice people were getting sat after only waiting 10 minutes. I looked over in the main dining room and saw 3 empty 4 top tables. I figured surely they will put two tables together and seat us next but no. They sat more parties of 2 and 3 that had just come in. By this point I felt so disrespected and was ready to leave but my father in law told the hostess we have been waiting almost an hour at this point and just separate us if you need to. She quickly offered a table in the back room for us, “if we were ok with that”. What kind of question is that? Why wouldn’t you sit us at this table earlier (two 4 tops) was empty or when you had multiple empty tables in the main dining room you could have put together? I will end this on a positive note, our server was a gem and the cornbread casserole was really good.

My chicken was extremely dry and the portions seem to have gotten smaller. I wont go back for the price alone !

Ordered our food and was told 25-30 minutes and then I showed up at 30 minutes and then proceeded to wait over another half hour for the food and was told multiple times only a few more minutes and as I was getting my food handed to me I was told the two orders of sweet potatoes they didn’t have anymore,So instead of telling me during the 40 minutes they just decided to give me Mac and cheese instead. Alexandra B was waitress oh and they just totally didn’t give my the coleslaw either and didn’t say anything about it. Definitely do not recommend. What food we did receive was good as usual though

We got a full rack of ribs, pulled pork, brisket and pigkin. It was all so amazingly dry the paper containers didn't even show any juice. Portions are very small, bbq sauce tastes like a sweet sauce mixed with ketchup. Frieds were at least a day old very stale. Worst BBQ in a long time. Don't waste your time or money. This is a DOUBLE portion of pulled pork condensed from 2 containers, supposed garlic bread, & mac n cheese

Lady was extremely rude when we called our order in. She rushed us and was very unpleasant. Then when I arrive they screwed up our order and they had to remake everything. Don’t compensate me at all. Then there are feathers still in the chicken wings! Last time I ever go here.
