They have terrific fish and chips. It's made with a fish-of-the-day, which was grouper for me. The beer batter shell was crispy while the fish inside was soft and flakey.
Very good food , service and atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone visiting Aruba .
My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Aruba June 2023 for the first time. We spared no expense when it came to food and visited many restaurants, some fine dining and some casual. I can honestly say that North End Pub and Grill was at the top of our list! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The pizza is fabulous! The crust is delicious. I also had their bacon and egg sandwich almost daily, incredible bread! Their grilled chicken sandwich and fries for lunch, also great! Wife loved the salad, a meal on its own!! Coffee in the morning, $2.50 to go and delicious, probably the least expensive on the island, for sure the beach area. Drinks were great!! I referred many people that we met and they all loved it as well. You won’t be disappointed!! The food and drinks are reasonably priced. A special hello to Hendrix, Daniel, the young lady who serves smoothies and coffee (forgot your name, so sorry) and the managers. Thank you for serving us awesome food and for your kind hospitality. We’ll be back!! Stephen & Kim
Amazing new pizza place! Large screen TVs playing all of the sports games. Lots of seating and amazing food choices. The buffalo chicken pizza was amazing!
I eaten here for breakfast and dinner on separate days. I must say their food always hits the spot. Their eggs are so fluffy and perfectly made. Their apple cinnamon pancake is so delicious and tasty. The flavors are on point! Their dinner sandwiches definitely will fill you up! The food was fresh and hot and delicious. They have so many different options to choose from, I would visit this place every day just to try everything. You can't go wrong eating here. Their drinks are also top tier. Very satisfying. The portions are well made and you won't be disappointed eating here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and will answer your questions without being irritated and they won't hover over you while you pay. Hands down amazing food!
Another great pizza experience at North End pub and Grill. Pepperoni New York style with hot honey, Italiano grandma style, peppers and onions Northern style. Every single one of them were delicious. Can't wait till next year!
First time visit here, great service! I got the thick crust pizza with Bacon, Chicken and Ranch, with a taste of garlic with white sauce, it was a 27” x 4” pizza. I think for the thick crust it’s better with the mozzarella sauce, or have something to dip the thick crust in. I would recommend getting this pizza with the medium crust, and get a pepperoni pizza with the thick crust. For the kids they got a cheese pizza with thin crust, and that was perfect. It’s not super thin, just the right amount of crust. We sat out front in the outdoor area, it was nice with the TVs and right next to us was the Gelato bar! There’s a parking garage across the street in the mall plaza area, cost $1 per hour to park your car. Overall a great place to go, and get some good food. Reservations aren’t needed, but we did come during the week, vibes maybe different on weekends. I already want to go back. The pizza was so good! Come and enjoy!
Our group really enjoyed themselves here. There was not a wait and we were seated quickly. The staff were kind as well as accommodating, and most importantly the food was great! Multiple members in our group enjoyed the burger in particular -I believe it was the farmhouse burger. In addition, the prices were reasonable and the drinks were good. We would recommend for a quick lunch!
Leaving tomorrow and wanted something other than seafood, found this place and was not disappointed. I had the personal Chicken Bacon Pizza and it was delicious. 12 inches and more than I could eat in one setting, the price was reasonable for the area 19.99$, my husband got the loaded nachos and they were the best we had including at our local restaurants in the states. The beverages were priced slightly higher than some of the other restaurants we had visited. Paid our check and then did a short walk around the area only to return for gelato. Parking is limited but we found plenty of of parking at the Holiday Inn parking area, priced at 2$ hour.
What a great experience at North End pub and Grill. The staff is very attentive and very welcoming. They were very friendly to our two year-old, food came out promptly and was delicious. Drinks were great as well.
North End Pub & Grill is a great spot for delicious burgers and pizza. They offer exceptional service, incredibly friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our server, Emeli, took great care of us and was an absolute gem. Thanks again, North End Pub & Grill!
Wow wow wow! This place left me speechless! Don’t let the rating fool you. The FLAVOR from this place is outstanding. The wings, the pizza, The service was incredible, thanks to Hosbianny and her team! I was daydreaming with every bite. 5 stars!!!! I will be coming back during my stay in Aruba!
Been here twice now and both times have been absolutely great! The food is tasty and the service is extremely nice and accommodating. We got wings with the Jack Daniels dressing which was delicious. I also recommend the nachos as an appetizer. The pulled pork is marinated in a really good sweet sauce. However, the chips can get a little soggy (still good though). Their current menu is only temporary, a better more advanced menu is coming soon but be sure to ask about the pizza!!! They have their own pizza oven and the pizzas coming out looked really, really good. For a main I had the beef tips tacos which was SO good. You get 3 of them (small/medium sized but large enough for a meal). I highly recommend them. All in all, 5/5 would go back again, and have! I hope they do well. P.S. they were also open during the day when most other places were closed! Great place to stop in for a lunch.
The atmosphere here is fantastic as is the food. The service was great as well. We ordered Parmesan and bbq wings and nachos for appetizers. Both were fantastic. Our table ordered fish tacos, buffalo chicken tacos, chicken and broccoli fettuccine Alfredo, Double fried chicken sandwich, and kids chicken tenders. Everything was very good overall. The prices were reasonable as well. A great experience overall. I highly recommend this place. We did make reservations and they got us on 20 mins early. We sat outside and they had the game going on the large tvs outside.
We had made a same day reservation for dinner on OpenTable but did not need one . We sat outside as the breeze made for a lovely evening. 4 draft beers on tap in different quantities. The service was great, checking often throughout our dining. We had the chicken parm, fish tacos, and a side Caesar salad. All we were delicious and enough to satiate our hunger. The pizza and burgers looked incredible, we might have to come back for lunch to try it out.
Located on the corner in the palm beach area, we stopped for an early dinner/ late lunch prior to a sunset cruise. We sat at the bar and were served by Baola and Milan. The service was great and since it was early we had time to talk with them and relax. Baola was helpful and gave us some great suggestions. The pizza was very good, we got the thin which I consider a normal pizzeria crust thickness, not really a thin, but the offer other two other thicker versions so I suppose the description is relative. * we liked the pizza so much we came back a second night for more. We tried the buffalo chicken dip, which was not your normal buffalo dip, we liked it once we got going, but if you are specifically wanting a buffalo chicken dip it is not that hot and has guac and raw onion added so the taste is slightly different. Note: 1. the menu is American so consider this a break from island or seafood. ***Note 2: I noticed there is 18% gratuity added, there was a small note at the bottom of the menu. This may be common practice at all restaurants, if so I have been way over tipping. Just FYI
We went for breakfast on a Monday morning. The music was nice and not so loud that I couldn't hear my companion. The food was good and was a good portion. The service was the best we'd had in our time in Aruba. I had the avocado, egg, blt burrito with a side of hashbrowns. My companion had an omelet and waffle.
This place is awesome. The pizza is amazing, nachos were some of the best I ever had, and the service was spectacular. Definitely give this place a try during your visit, you won't be disappointed! Oh and our waiter Howard also recommended the red sangria which was excellent!
Best pizza you will ever have. Staff are very kind and great with families. Even if you don't want pizza, lots of great options. Highly recommend.
Grandma pie with pepperoni was amazing! Fries are great too! We ordered take away through WhatsApp, it was very easy. The staff was very helpful when I arrived. Sat at the bar while I waited & enjoyed a Chill, served by Flaco. Highly recommended!!
Went for breakfast… I had an omelette and my husband had a burrito. Everything was delicious! Great portions. I couldn’t finish. Will definitely be back!!
The pizza was great and the place has such a great vibe. Our waitress, Alejandra, was awesome. Super attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back! 🍕✨
Visited Aruba in August and ate here twice. Once outdoors and once indoors. We were blown away by the service, food and ambience. Both times we visited we were seated right away even though we didn't have any reservations. The staff made us feel welcome. They were very friendly, quick and efficient. All the food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. Our favorite was the New York style pepperoni pizza, the chicken wings (we chose Jack Daniels) and their sangria! We're planning another trip and are definitely coming back!
We were a group of 4, I had the Jack Daniels burger, and the other 3 had a variety of other choices. We all were VERY pleased with our choice of lunch. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. We WILL be going back on our next trip to Aruba!
Must stop. Awesome wings, service and atmosphere. All food had for party of 9 was delicious. All 3 various Pizzas were delicious and great leftovers on the beach
Yummy, yummy, pizza. Love 'New York Style' pizza!! They have other styles as well! You can't go wrong. Wait staff great. Sat at bar and really enjoyed it. (Being from Boston....kudos to North End Aruba!!!)
As a NY Italian I can honestly say The North End has great Italian dishes. At first I was skeptical about trying their meatballs but they were really good (because you know no one makes them better than your Italian grandma on Sunday). Pizza was comparable to NY pizza. Burgers and mac and cheese were also great options. They also have the best flavors of gelato. Service was also exceptional. German has been our waiter every night we visited for dinner! He was helpful when it came to making a decision on what to order. German is the highlight of the restaurant. We will be adding The North End into our regular rotation of restaurants when we visit Aruba.
We had an amazing experience at The North Pub & Grill! From start to finish, the food and service were top-notch. We had the Jack Daniel Burger and Dave’s Famous Steak Tips, and both were absolutely delicious – juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome the entire time. As locals, we can honestly say this is by far one of the best places on the island. Everything about our visit exceeded expectations. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to again!
I woke up this Sunday morning craving a traditional American breakfast something that’s surprisingly hard to find in Aruba unless you’re at a hotel buffet. With Sunday options even more limited, I checked reviews and decided to give North End Pub & Grill a try. I’m glad I did. Food-wise, everything hit the mark. I had scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, and white toast (which had a grainy texture on the outside not what I expected, but I loved it). I also tried a protein drink, which was excellent. Service was good and attentive, so I rated it a 4. The only reason it’s not a 5 is because of one thing that wasn’t clearly communicated: when I got my bill, there was an 18% service charge. I like to tip well for good service, but I don’t want to unknowingly leave a total of 40% if the service charge is also a tip. If that 18% goes to the waitstaff, great just let customers know. If it’s simply an add-on, the prices should reflect it upfront. Today, I left an additional 6% assuming that made my tip about 24%, but I was left second-guessing whether that was the case. On atmosphere, I rated it a 3 overall, but that’s only if you’re comparing it to a beachfront restaurant with sweeping ocean views. For what it is a spot right on the strip it’s a solid 5. Clean, comfortable, and exactly what you’d expect for its location. Bottom line: if you’re craving a proper American breakfast in Aruba, especially on a Sunday morning, this place delivers. Just a little more clarity on the service charge would make the experience perfect.
Great, casual spot in downtown Noord! The service here was fantastic, as well as the food and drinks. We came with a fairly large group of people for dinner, and the entire staff took great care of us. My husband had the buffalo chicken mac & cheese and he said it was phenomenal. We would definitely come back here and would recommend to others!
Really great location just in front of the Holiday Inn and not far from Marriott Surf and Ocean Club. Hostess remembered us from the night before looking at the menu, so I give her kudos. The waiter was also fairly attentive, given it was a week night and the restaurant was quiet. Pizza was actually probably one of the best that we've had on the island. They had lots of different combinations to choose from. The margarita, unfortunately, was lousy. It tasted like all margarita mix. Fortunately, they also had some different beer selections beyond just Balashi to go with the beer.
Filling and big portions. A bit of a tourist trap for the pizza prices. But we went for Pub food and did not disappoint. The loaded fries and burgers were extraordinary. Service was ok, the server did not know how to speak much English and they did not know which IPA to recommend. But they smiled and were kind :) For a quick bite with big TVs and a pub atmosphere, sticking with Grub, worth it.
We were ready for some good ole American burgers and wings and the North End gives you plenty of core pub options. Pretzels were good and was the burger and pizzas. I would also recommend the fries. Only feedback is the sodas are not refillable and we weren’t told that each new soda was another charge! Other than that if you need a good burger or wings - go here and order a water🤣!!
The food was good, I had to take a star off though cause they missed part of my order, both when I ordered and then when I asked where it was and they said it would come out. On the plus side, they didn't charge us for, so we avoided that issue. The food and drinks we did receive were quite tasty and the location is great. The servers were friendly, and outside missing an appetizer, it was a good experience.
Nice and easy chilled American style bar. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The north end style pizza was delicious and so filling we couldn’t finish it all.
Great service and great food. Server were very attentive. German was the best made good recommendation and made sure everything was good. Highly recommended and make a reservation in a advance it gets packed.
Good food, nice atmosphere. A little expensive. We got the wings and the long pizza, half Italian-half north end supreme. It was very good. The Italian was a little bland—north end was delicious. Overall the food was tasty and good, but just overpriced.
We had the shrimp tacos, buffalo mac and cheese, and pepperoni pizza and they were all great. Cool place to eat at night right on the street with good music and good vibes. Drinks left a lot to be desired but maybe we ordered the wrong ones. Bathrooms were excellently maintained though.
We had lunch and dinner here, both times the food was good. Family loved the pizza. I had the Greek salad both times and it was very good.
From my 8yo son: the tables are not really that nice and there are 4 TVs more than you need. Doesn’t look that nice: walls, flooring. But I like they have booths. Everything is nice but not too nice. You can say “I want Nutella next to waffles and not in waffles”, which I like. The food is tasty.
Nice indoor and outdoor seating, they were serving breakfast until noon. We came in right before lunch and they were happy to let us look at a menu until lunch service then took our order soon after. Lots of drinks and gluten free options. I had shrimp taco and my husband had grilled chicken sandwich, both were good. Word of caution - I'm taking a star off because while they offer gluten free, they are not very familiar with it. It took 3 servers to tell me if the local seltzer was safe (it is, and delicious). The tacos didn't look right when they arrived, and I had to push the servers to make sure they were gluten free. They were not even though the food allergy was noted on the ticket. If you're more than intolerant I wouldn't recommend. Also the corn shells are WAY less food.
Pizza was OK, we had the thick crust and it was a little doughy and undercooked…
Decent breakfast. Had the American breakfast and Waffles as well both were good solid breakfast.
We was on the hunt for the best burgers on Aruba and we bumped into this via Google maps. Seeing that the prices were a bit more expensive than what a local would pay for, our expectancy was a bit high for the food that was to come. Long story short. The meat was under seasoned as you can see the patty is much more smaller than the bun itself. It looks as if it was a toy yo-yo. The pictures that were displayed on the website does not reflect the actual burger itself. Staff was friendly but a bit kind of slow in service, but hey! They did tey their best. The bar was illuminated with football stadium lights, which we found funny but in all over experience. It was ok. I expected more to be honest, but have a go and see for yourself.
My pizza didn’t come out looking like others in the reviews. The cheese wasn’t goey but more hard. Shame cause I had higher hopes for the price
Mushroom pizza was pretty good, and service was OK. I didn't like the fact that an 18% service fee is added to the bill regardless of party size (we were 2), and then when they bring the bill it states that staff would appreciate a tip on top of the 18% and you have to tick a box for tip before they ring it up. Sure you could put $0 bit you almost feel guilted into it at that point. Apparently that 18% service fee is for overall service costs? Seems to me if you want the staff paid more, then set their wage appropriately and factor it into your food prices instead of using a small print service fee to pay your expenses. I haven't seen this at anywhere else we have eaten yet in Aruba unless you have a large party.
The staff were simply amazing. I have to say that first. The food? Definitely needs work. Not even the glass of Coke was good. I thought I had COVID but it was the Coke that had no flavor. Asked for new one and same results. At this point, it was like, I’ll have water with my pizza 🤮 Cannoli and Fried Dough were brutally bad. The place has such great potential but they definitely are NOT there yet and perhaps some menu items that need to be re-evaluated. MY OPINION. To the owner, I am NOT casting aspersions on your business, I am writing about my personal experience and when I write these review, I write them so that you may improve your operation and listen to what your customers are saying so that the next customer can have a better experience.
Pizza was good, service staff were great. BUT, they add 18% service charge to all bills, then you have to add tip. No mention of this on website, just a little statement at bottom of menu, which I missed so my bad.
Very disappointing experience. Random guy from the NE of the US kept wondering into the kitchen, under cooked pizza and lack of flavor. We ordered their featured pizza, The North End - NY style, and felt it wasn’t good; lacked flavor, forgot the basil and under cooked . No one checked on us so no chance to share. BEAWARE, not all places in Aruba charge service charges, but this place charged a required 18%. Not enjoyable for us at all.
I guess this place stays in business for their pizza and burgers. I will not be back. My sister and I just wanted a couple appetizers so ordered the chicken tenders and onion rings. They were definitely a frozen product. I don’t understand how they charge what they do for 5 chicken fingers, onion rings that were gray on the inside. Chewy and inedible. Our bill was $38 for two club sodas (no booze) and the meager appetizers! They then said they’d only take cash. They explained that the whole island of Aruba was down. Not true since we just purchased elsewhere with a credit card minutes before. That bill included a 18% service fee that we somehow were not informed. To top it off, we were attacked by bees. We had nothing sweet on our table so I suspect it was just a sticky table.
