If you are looking to go with friends, a date, family, or alone, this is the best place to go for excellent food, Mexican-themed atmosphere, good music, and what I think so far, the best service in London. Thank you so much for the service again, we had an amazing time.

Felt a warm welcome and friendly staff eager to help and answer all my questions. Drinks were strong and very enjoyable, the food was cooked to perfection, and the salad was well balanced. Decor- large sombrero, music, and ambiance transformed us back to Mexico. Go, and try it for yourself, we found the place just because I wanted it some Mexican food like guacamole, salsa, tacos and burrito.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The taste of the food is incredible, the lady that served us was really professional and authentic. We also liked a lot the drinks!

Would definitely recommend. Food, drinks, service & atmosphere were all great. We had the guacamole & chips, the sharer plate of tacos, churros, along with margaritas and whiskey sours. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. I’ve seen some reviews on here mentioning rude staff and bad food — but we didn’t experience either of these and will definitely be going back!

Best tacos in all of London…highly recommend the tacos al pastor…Bianca is the best manager ever and deserves a raise!!!

Loved the vibe of the restaurant, a lot of high quality drinks choice. rightfully priced for the area that is located in. Super satisfied with the service that was warm and appropriate along the generous portions of food.

Sunday late night and the place was packed, good tunes & vibes, we had a few Reserva de la familia 🤤 Well looked after by Blanca & team. Special shout to Wilmer & Mariela for their phenomenal cooking skills

I keep meaning to try other Mexican restaurants but the problem is this one exists. Great service as usual and the spicy margaritas were flowing. The portions are large so share with your date/ friend etc and you can mix and match. great music and ambiance too.

Never have I associated the UK with authentic Mexican food, but Azteca is legit y’all. Mi amiga y yo had the guacamole (8.5/10), camarón tacos (9/10), black beans (8/10), and margaritas: Azteca, passion fruit, and habanero (all 9/10). The flavors were spot on and had me thinking, “Am I in London? Dónde estoy?” What’s more, the atmosphere is super fun and casual, the music was bangin, and the service was exceptional. My only complaint [asterisk] was that it was hella expensive — somehow our bill ballooned to £99, which is LOCO really. But of course… *it’s Chelsea and everything is crazy expensive. In the end: great find, 10/10 would recommend, will totally come back the next time I’m in London.

Been going here for 13 years on and off and it’s always been the same- amazing service, staff, fresh food and atmosphere. Love everything about it and can’t wait to go back

Finally made it in to dinner at this local Mexican place which has been around a long time, and will definitely be back. Food reasonably priced, drinks a little less so but overall a great value and reminiscent of what one would find in California. Not a huge selection of main dishes and not for the ‘foodies’ - more for those that want enchiladas verdes or a burrito washed down with a good margarita in fun surrounding with colourful posters and knick knacks everywhere

My friend and I ate at this place about 2 months ago. We didn't book, just decided we liked the look of it and went inside. Food was DELICIOUS. I got the enchiladas. Would definitely go again!!

We had a wonderful experience at Azteca for my birthday. Not only was the food amazing but the service was great and the host, Bianca, was absolutely lovely. Thank you for a fabulous evening.

Visited at the weekend and had a fantastic experience. Amazing hospitality, delicious food, well-made cocktails and tasty tequila. Big fan!

Place in the middle between a good experience and normal experience. The food was nice but not woow.. anyway the waiter and the staff was nice. I had a bad experience with the person close to me, very rude. But for the rest ok. Maybe a bit small. I will recommend with reserves

Quite a cute Mexican restaurant with Sombrero hats for diners to take pics. Food was good, i only wish my grilled prawn tacos to be slightly less well done as right now the meat was a little dry. But taste was nice as the mix of onion and coriander was perfect. Same for the salsa for the corn chips, it was so yummy, very appetising. I had the passion fruit margarita, it’s slightly on the pricey side but on the other hand I feel the alcohol stronger than other places, so maybe because of that.

Lively place with great atmosphere for a night out. The food could be improved, the tortillas felt stale and the chicken tacos lacked flavour, however, the beef fajitas were a hit. Don’t skip out on the churros! Service was wonderful and all in all, would recommend going.

Great ambience and decorations😍 they have the traditional Mexican live performance later at night💃🏻 We ordered the Nachos but forgot to tell the staff we only wanted small and it came out to be HUGE😂 It would have been better if it’s with guacamole and sour cream🥲 The grilled prawn tacos were amazing tho! Very flavourful 👌🏻 The cocktails were nice too😆 highly recommend the first one (forgot the name but it’s sth with mango) Churros were a bit disappointing tho. I felt like it’s not the traditional ones Staff were friendly and helpful

Got a takeaway so it’s difficult to comment on the service or atmosphere. The taco’s were a little dry and missing something over than guac and green sauce provided. Maybe like a spicy mango or something would have slapped. The real stars of the show were the guac and salsa. Kept it for lunch the next day and still delicious and fresh. 10/10 ordering again for the Euros Final on Sunday. Thanks!

Food was great (chicken tacos and enchiladas), drinks look nice and are tasty. However, went there for a dinner on Saturday and I felt like in a night club - it was loud and dark, not possible to have a conversation. No spaces between tables, they are so squeezed.

The food, service & cocktails were fantastic, but we felt a little bit squashed in the upstairs area. Will definitely be coming back, perhaps at a quieter time!

Small little hole in wall mexican food joint. Food and service were surprisingly good and salvaged a bad visit to another place that had just closed an hour prior to their online time. Only complaint is it's a pretty small place and they crank their music up a bit too much making everyone scream to talk and hear each other. Maybe a better place after work with friends than an intimate date spot.

Amazing food and drinks, lovely atmosphere, great staff. But watch out for being prompted to add a tip by the card machine - 12.5% is already included in your bill, so anything more at the card machine would be extra! I ended up paying a 22.5% tip without realising until it had gone through. I feel that’s a little sneaky.

On the plus side the service was good - prompt and with a smile. Food is decent but not exciting, cocktails are overpriced and choice of wines and beers is seriously limited. Overall a pleasant pre game experience but will probably try a different venue the next time.

The drinks where great, delicious original exotic flavours that work. From the sensational margaritas to the Mango Caipirinha and the Lasting Passion all were great. The Cheesy nachos let them down as it was slightly overcooked and the cheese had hardened. The quesadilas were OK, nothing to die for. Overall a good experience though, friendly staff, good music (a bit loud but passable). Or recommend and come again to try more before a definitive judgement.

Last minute booking, happy to find a place with great vibes. The food was delicious and the cocktails and Modelo beers were great.

We had a quick early dinner and all dishes were in a good portion but the flavours were lacking. The beef dish was very dry so it doesn't matter about the taste at that point. The spicy margarita did not taste much to be honest. I don't think I will be returning any time soon.

Used to go there all the times for years until few of us started getting nasty reaction when we were drinking there. Also been over charged quite a few times when opened tab. Shame! As the food is really good.

Small restaurant renowned for its cocktails, all at £12. Food is more texmex than Mexican, fajitas very average and too much sauce on the lukewarm meat. Tortillas were fresh and tacos not too heavy. Crammed tables, outdated decor, it could be ok for families rather than couples on a date. Average prices, considering the area.

The food was banging. The waitress was very pleasant and kind however, they kept immediately taking plates from our table when one of us was finished which I found to be quite rude. Please just wait for everyone. The music kept changing sporadically and jumped up in volume. Very odd. It was very quiet, only us 3 & 2 others there. But the food was good and the interior is cool.

A great atmosphere and decent service let down by really bland food and drinks, especially for vegetarians. The Morsita cocktail that promised a "smooth yet fiery taste" was beautifully presented, but sadly insipid and lacking any hint of a kick. We had aubergine tacos and mushroom tacos, both of which were criminally underseasoned and bland. The mushroom tobanyaki main, the only sharing option for vegetarians, was okay - but £22 for a bowl of steamed mushrooms stings. The highlights were the salsas, chips and guac, though portions were again lacking. The dulche de leche brulee was lovely, but the lime tart was not.

I went there yesterday with my wife we was expecting a good Quality of food because of the area and the prices of the restaurant and unfortunately it was not! The food was defrost and soggy and disgusting! Me and my wife we had strong stomachache after eating that miserable food ! honestly eating there even for free it doesn’t worth! They should sell anything but food ! Service was just okay! Soft drinks was okay! But food was seriously disgusting 🤢🤮🤮🤮 I’m giving one star because I have no choice the system won’t let me write a review without giving one star because they deserve -5 stars not even ZERO stars . Honestly if I wasn’t busy in my life I will sue them.

The definition of what's wrong with this world. With a 30 minute walk to my accommodation I politely asked to use their restroom and was refused just because it's "only for costumers". Basic lack of decency and human empathy. Was not the staff's fault but the management and ownership who put their profit above basic decency. Might have tried it, surely will never do so.
