Great food and service at a reasonable price and the restaurant is in a really interesting area
Fantastic Food, Great Service, cannot fault it at all. Will definitely go back
Amazing dining experience. Fantastic food and brilliant selection of wines too
So far, one of the best fish & chips I've ever had in London.
Fantastic meal here at Chamberlains today. On arrival was welcomed by a friendly young man who took our jackets and showed us to our table. Our waiter for the meal welcomed us and offered us drinks. I ate the butternut squash soup for starter with delicious homemade crusty bread followed by roast beef with all the trimmings the beef was medium rare it was perfect and melted in the mouth. The roast potatoes are to die for ...simply the best. For dessert i had the chocolate tart with vanilla ice cream was perfect every mouthful was enjoyed. To finish off this fantastic meal i had a nice coffee and honeycomb . our waiter was very friendly and professional and knew his food and wine menu well when we asked questions . A very friendly and welcoming restaurant . Looking forward to next time
We enjoyed fantastic oysters to start. My dish of beautifully prepared fillet of John Dory served with samphire and asparagus was delicious. Service was good-attentive but not intrusive. Fab wine.
Went there with a 3-course deal, totally worth it, also deal free. Dishes were very well-executed, cooked and finely plated, with at least one element in every dish which made it stand out flavour-wise.
Chamerlain's serves by far the most exquisite food I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. Every visit exceeds my expectations. The ambience is a delight, the staff always welcoming and the building itself, simply breath taking. It is perfection in every way. 5☆
A fantastic place to enjoy a business lunch on the heart of the city. Run by one of the best chef in London, Trying to innovate and twist all time recipes with the fresh vision of Andrew Jones. Fresh food on the highest quality.
Great restaurant, the food is delicious (fresh ingredients, very well prepared) and the staff is highly competent and welcoming. Fairly correct price. Great choice
5 Star!! Beautiful location, amazing service and delicious food. Been there for dinner and for brunch and both times the food and the service was great. I will definitely return there and recommend this place for lunch, dinner and Saturday brunch!
Went for dinner with several coworkers. The service was excellent with a very nice setting. I had the fish pie and some red wine and it was fantastic.
I went to the Chamberlain's yesterday with a Groupon Voucher. The food was great and I was surprised how quickly each dish came out. The service was great. I'm considering getting another Groupon voucher to go again.
Probably the best fish restaurant I've ever been to. Excellent service, great wines and food. The service is absolutely outstanding.
Brilliant service. Great atmosphere outside.. The fish must be good because they had a party from billingsgate market.
Excellent fish and chips
Nice place, friendly stuff, excellent dishes consumed
Amazing food and service
Loved it thank you so much
The food was 5☆ as well as the service. The building is also amazing. Overall a beautiful place
Very good food and service, not cheap but then genuinely high quality services do tend to come with a price premium. Nice fish and chip takeaway too.
Very good fish dishes and great wine.
Outstanding customer service. They make every guest feel valued!
The food and service is excellent x
It s the most favourite fish restaurant in London
Good quality food and service
Excellent service and super amazing food too. A must try!
Very good restaurant in Leadenhill Market, upscale, good service, and food was delicious!
Lovely staff, and great food at an amazing price!
A bit expensive for the quality of food and service. Or you can put it the other way round, for the price quality of food and service aren't great.
Excellent fish but not so much chips! I ordered their online fish and tips and indeed the fish was superb but the chips were dry and mushy. Was not impressed by it. Overall satisfied because it's a huge portion and good value for money.
Excellent food and wine, service was a bit slow for a lunchtime on my visit. Great place for an important business lunch. Tasting menu with/without wine options available along with more traditional menu. Waiters very knowledgeable about food on the menu and wine/drinks to go with the meal. Price can be seen as quite expensive but not unreasonable.
Good food, central location, good service
Nice food in a good location. Quite noisy and very hot! Niggly issues with small errors on waiting but it was busy and just before Christmas.
They have a fish and chips takeaway which I tried today for the first time and it was good
I had dinner here last week and found it a fairly average affair overall! We both had the £55 tasting menu which consists of 5 courses. The bread was a little dry and the butter very hard (straight out of the fridge) and impossible to spread - rookie error for an established restaurant! The amuse bouche and first dish was decent (lobster bisque and oysters), the fois gras was a miss as it was super rich but also came with a really rich roll of butter and a sweet dense bread - would probably have been better with a plain/savoury cracker and some fruit to balance the richness. The fish dish was decent and well flavoured, but the beef main was undercooked (dripping blood for medium well) and the sides very average. The pear tart came out cold and the pastry was dry and old. Overall, the service was not the best and to top it off - THERE WAS A MOUSE RUNNING AROUND THE RESTAURANT?! They took off 10% from the bill for the mouse but that didn't really make up for a fairly mediocre quality meal and similar service.
I had the fish nuggets and a regular chips. The nuggets are a mixture of haddock, cod and salmon and weren't too bad. The chips disappointed, as they appeared to be a little overcooked and hard. Be prepared to queue during the lunch, as they can get very busy.
The food was great, felt fresh and well prepared. But the management seemed poor, they could have warned us in advance that a simple lunch break could take 1.5 hours.
Soggy chips but good fish and crispy batter. Found a bone in my cod too. Expensive and unspectacular on this occasion - has been better before.
I really wanted to like Chamberlain's but our experience was a bit "meh". We came on a Groupon on a weekend where Leadenhall Market is usually dead, from the moment we showed the voucher the maître d huffed under his breath "another one". It was for Oysters and Prosecco, which were nice, but it all felt like we were on a conveyer belt going through the motions of a romantic meal. Everything was okay, just nothing really stood out, the dessert was interesting, so took a picture, but it didn't save this. If I want Oysters and Prosecco in a lovely setting, I'd go to Wright Brothers in Spitalfields for a better experience to be honest.
OK food in a nice ambiance, but not amazing and over priced for what you get.
Very expensive, but nothing special in terms of taste.
Over cooked Chateaubriand, McDonald's like french fries and way overpriced!
Takeaway chips were £4. They gave no more than 25 chips and ketchup cost extra. I appreciate the restaurant may be great, however £4 for chips. I was expecting an amount that would at least fill me.
purchased a groupon voucher before the recent lockdown and it's expired during the lockdown and the merchant is not replying anything regarding this. should have extended the expiry date from their end but nothing!
