Anna Louise and Zilan gave us the BEST SERVICE on Valentine’s Day ever ! My mum was so happy and they gave us a nice rose ! Honestly the best people to be around felt like family!

After my hijama session, I really needed something warm and light, and their lentil soup was absolutely perfect! The staff were so kind, attentive and caring, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I truly appreciate how carefully they looked after me — thank you so much! 🌿

Staff were really nice, and the food was one of the best Turkish foods I have eaten. I’ve been to gokyuzu. Kervan etc but this tops it taste wise. Will be back

Everything was perfect 10/10 on everything. Was really happy with the service that Hashi gave. Went a second time two other ladies were at customer service serving and their service was also 10/10. Food has full of flavour. The flavour is not just at the outside but goes deep into meat and chicken.The rice is full of flavour that it can be eaten on its own. The service from staff is professional and friendly and the way they ask makes you feel like they care about your comfort and food.

We hosted our Baby Shower at Izgara Finchley, and Mr. Zilan and his team did an absolutely amazing job. The table setup, the food, and every single detail were prepared with great care and attention. Everything was beautifully organised. We were around 30 guests, and both we and our guests had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and very well managed from start to finish. Being heavily pregnant and close to my due date, this event was such a lovely social gathering and a real morale boost for me. It truly meant a lot. We did the decorations ourselves, and the team was very supportive throughout. I would highly recommend Izgara Finchley for any special occasion. Thank you once again to the entire team for making this day so special for us.

We had a delicious meal here. The meal for too option was superb with a very good portion size and great quality. It was a Saturday evening and packed but we only had to wait 5 mins for a walk in which was good. The Turkish red wine was very good to! Also service was excellent.

I had an amazing experience at Izgara in Finchley! The food was absolutely delicious everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was just as impressive. A special shout-out to Cüneyt, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. He truly made the experience even better. The food was really flavourful and great size portions. The lamb kofte and Adana in particular were great! The service was really friendly especially from Zilam and Anna (sorry if I got the spelling wrong). Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Izgara Finchley is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Turkish food. From the moment you walk in, the warm atmosphere and friendly service set the tone for a great meal. The grilled dishes are outstanding — tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of rich, smoky flavor. The mixed grill is especially impressive, offering a great selection of meats cooked to perfection. The manager i believe so was very accommodating and kind! Made sure we was okay with everything. The staff was amazing despite the kids were running around and being very loud. Definitely visiting again!

We visited Izgara for a birthday meal. The service was excellent and the team made the birthday boy feel extra special with a special dessert and an awesome celebratory song. The quality of food was really good and the service by Tara was excellent. We do eat out alot and know quite a few Turkish restaurants in the area, but do recommend this place for sure. We will start coming here more often. Slightly salty for our taste but Heads up to the chef.

My son and I walked in for an early dinner. We were greeted by lovely Adeena who very kindly offered us a table close to a heater as we had walked in from the freezing cold. She and her colleagues gave wonderful service. Food arrived quickly. The bread and sauces came promptly- delicious warm tasty bread . I am not a fan of the Turkish pepper sauce but this one was rather good. We had tasty borek. Both of us love aubergine and were slightly disappointed with the portion size but no complaints about the taste. Son asked regarding portion size of sea bass and was delighted that it was more than adequate. The request to swap mash for bulgar was accommodated too. My mixed shish was tender and flavourful. We also took home Adana kofte for husband who couldn’t join us unfortunately. I must say even though it was an hour later that he ate it, the dish was fabulous! And I have to say the table lights were great: no flickering led candles here! Overall a great meal out.

Wonderful service! Hello Izgara team, today it was a memorable night, it was my brother’s birthday and we had our dinner at Izgara. All I can say, it’s a birthday he will never forget ! We had lovely Turkish food , the service was wonderful and lovely atmosphere with happy vibes .Staff was very friendly and kind special thanks to Sude & Nate! Thank you so much for everything, and thanks for playing the birthday song three times 😂!The San Sebastian cheesecake was very delicious !

We just an excellent meal here at lunchtime. Zilan, the manager was super helpful and everyone was so very nice. The 2 course lunchb was great value and very tasty!

Came here with my best friend and the service was very fast. Nate served us and he was very attentive, polite and always had a smile on his face. The food was delicious. Servers make all the difference to the dining experience and Nate did exceptionally well. Would definitely recommend Izgara Finchley.

Fast service and good portion sizes. Worth booking as it can get busy. My favourite part of the meal was the mantar dolma which I definitely reccomend getting if you are vegetarian! The flirtni mocktail was really nice and worth trying. The brulee cheesecake didn't have enough brulee for my personal liking but the baklava was nice.

Had an amazing time here today. First time coming in around a year and a half as I just haven't been going to London as much. The food is even better than I remember and the service wss great. Mohammed looked after us the entire night and made sure we had everything we need!

The three of us had a lovely lunch - delicious food and well served. The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere was because the restaurant was almost empty at lunchtime on a Monday, but it was, therefore, quiet and relaxing.

Great service, was my sisters birthday and they provided a little celebration, wrote happy birthday on her dessert plate, sang a song, the whole shebang. All in all a great experience. Would definitely come again.

The best choice. I always had such a wonderful experience ! The food was absolutely delicious every dish was full of flavour and perfectly prepared, also a very generous portion. I can really tell the chefs care about quality and presentation. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to find a place that gets both food and service so right. We celebrated a birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect! They even surprised the birthday person with a cake and candle, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the evening extra special. We visited Izgara yesterday for lunch, They kindly served a complimentary small starter at the beginning, which was nice, although I did notice the bread wasn’t fresh. For the mains, the salmon fillet was good, and the mix shish was tasty too.

It's a lovely place. The food was good but being vegetarians it was fine first time but there wouldn't be much choice for us next time. The mocktail 2 for 8.99 was strange as 2 couldn't share and both had to have 2 drinks each. It was my son's birthday celebration and they did that really nicely with a dance accompanied with the cake! It was really sweet. Beetroot delight was just steamed Beetroot and feta salad. Falafel and houmous was nice, moussaka was nice but pricey for such a small portion. The potato dish was tasty.

Tasty food. But one dish came wrong. The fixed the issue though and staff were friendly. It seemed quite busy in there and the restaurant was celebrating 25years. Nice size tables and decor. But limited to one female toilet. Lots of different choices for veg people too. If ordering the royal platter I believe, be prepared for pirates of the Caribbean music and an entrance 😄 nice vibes for a family meal. I'd defo return and recommend.

An absolutely fantastic dining experience overall. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food makes it worthwhile—fresh, flavorful meat and hot, perfectly baked naan. The only letdown was the Aperol Spritz; it tasted watered down, with the dilution overpowering the Aperol itself, which was disappointing. Still, a great spot for a delicious meal!

We had booked for 8.30pm. On arrival the restaurant was packed and we had about 20+ mins standing in a busy cramped area near the entrance. It felt like they overbooked. It was quite a while before staff offered us a (complimentary) drink and only after we chased for the table. Food is good; service polite and willing but a bit haphazard- starters delivered but no bread; had to chase for this. It was very busy and thus noisy - so not relaxing hence 3* for ambience. I would return as quality of food and price is fair value but probably not for weekend dinner booking.

Definitely not wow, or different from other Turkish restaurants, nice & warm atmosphere, service was okay but not attentive. Mezes were tasty, for the main I got my self lamp chops but it was definitely more on the fatty side, also very thick which was a little sickening. But other than that, everything else was great!

We had to wait 25 minutes for a pre-booked table. The restaurant was so busy that it felt like the staff couldn't cope. We ordered wine and when it never arrived we asked the waiter only to be told by a different waiter they never had that wine anymore. The food was good as usual, but it really felt that the restaurant was just too busy for the amount of staff they had. For a local restaurant on a Wednesday evening it just felt far too hectic!

Very disappointing dining experience again! Izgara is very overrated, especially compared to other Turkish restaurants. Also, to highlight this, the Pinner branch is better. In my personal opinion, there are much better Turkish restaurants out there you can try, such as Gokyuzu, Likya, Kerwan, etc. The atmosphere is awful, and the restaurant was overcrowded and unbelievably cramped. You're literally right next to another diner's table. People coming in and leaving had to squeeze past us (and other diners, not just us), and at one point, I had to move our table to let them pass. If you're looking for a romantic or chilled vibe, then this is not it; it just reminds me of Pizza Hut. The only saving grace was the bread. At the beginning, I'm glad they got it right, along with the chilli sauce. I ordered the mixed grill, which cost £29. What a letdown that was! First of all, the portion size is awful, and you get one lamb chop, three chicken wings, one kofta kebab, three small lamb ribs, three pieces of chicken shish, and one piece of lamb shish. With a choice of rice or bulgur rice, I did ask for mixed rice and bulgur, which other places are fine with, but they simply don't offer it. The bulgur rice was okay, but it didn't have as much flavour as other Turkish restaurants I have visited. My regret was that I didn't order the rice; at least I would have been happier and content with the bland taste. Everything was bland, just like my previous experience, and honestly, the kofta kebab can easily be made at home – watch a YouTube video; it's literally the same recipe. In fact, you can make a better meal at home for a fraction of the price. My wife ordered the meat moussaka, which was okay. I wouldn't say it was terrible, and the portion size wasn't too bad. The mocktail was so sweet that it tasted like sugar mixed with flavoured water. The dessert menu looked boring. You have to ask for the complimentary tea at the end; most places just offer it automatically, like Likya and Gokyuzu. Would I return? No!

went with a group of friends and the service was atrocious we were told the restaurant is now under new management all old staff have been removed and new staff are not trained the restaurant was empty we sat at the table advised and for 40 minutes the dirty dishes from the last group were not cleared when they were finally cleared the waiter delivered our drinks and spilt a full glass of coke on our guest we the had to plead tot he team to wipe the floor clean of the remaining coke so it’s it a trip hazard it took 15 minutes to do that alone when we complained about the utter lack of management, our waitress who was nothin but helpful and empathetic trying to run this place on her own got into trouble as for us all we were offered was the opportunity to remove service charge new management are awful!! stay away for tables over 10 guests would have been more reasonable to at least offer some free starters for the mess caused
