Great lunch time deal, all you can eat for £15. Fabulous food and good value for the deal.
Wonderful tapería serving delicious pinchos and god wine. During the week, you can grab as much as you can eat in in one hour for only 15 pounds. Be early because the most delicious things part quickly! Wonderful bachground music (Blues and R&B). Love it.
A hidden gem you won't forget! We had a sunday funday with an all inclusive deal that lasted 1,5 hours (tapas+cava), live music was truly lovely and the boys serving get 10/10.
Pintxos (a.k.a. pinchos) is the next best thing that's been exported from Spain after tapas, and "PIX Pintxos" cafes serve them up in style. They are originally from Basque Country but are now well known all across the northern Spain. A Pintxos cafe serves up a number of different bite sized dishes with a wooden pin stabbed in them. You take whatever you want, collect the skewers and then pay according to the number of them when you're ready to go. This is a great setup for socialising (read "drinking") with your friends. Pintxos are a bit expensive, though, so you might not want to make this your sole "feeding place" for the night. At PIX the pintxos taste really authentic and it's a great place to start the night or continue a night after eating out.
Really lovely dinner with great service and yummy ‘pick-your-own’ tapas from a counter continually filled with delicious treats.
Very trendy tapas place, felt like I'm in Spain myself. Customer service was fantastic, never had such attention in the past.
As always, impeccable service and good. Cocktails are fabulous. Food was fresh and appetizing.
Great, great cocktails and super service. Looking the fulfil the best experience for every guest. Personal and great 👌🏼
We did the 15 pounds all-you-can-eat Tapas, food is good, but more importantly very friendly service!
Great place for tapas and cocktails! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Loved it, Loved it!! We popped in for lunch and it was amazing, We only paid £5 for 3 Pintxos. We went back for another 3 and each one was delicious, including the Spanish tortilla, sausage, and fish. Even though it was quiet, the food was fresh and it's great being able to pick from the bar, it felt very authentic and better than a similar place I went to in Spain! The staff were so friendly, chatty and helpful and the drinks were good too. I wish there was one of these near my home!
Amazing!! Great food, cool atmosphere and really helpful staff! We had an awful experience in another restaurant that weren't prepared to accommodate my disability, but we arrive at Pix and they were so nice, it was such a relief. We managed to get my mobility scooter just inside the door and the staff were great at helping me get to the table. We LOVED the concept, being able to pick by seeing the food not reading it off a menu! Ingenious. The cocktails were great and there was a good wine and beer list. My best friend who was with us is Spanish and she loved it so they are clearly doing something right!
I have to say this is possibly now one of my favourite places to eat in London. Amazing quality... and the all you can eat during the week for £15 is an absolute bargain. The people running this place are so friendly. Try everything... honestly and if you like Red Wine... we were recommended the Campo Flores organic red. At only £7 a glass two of you can sit and eat for under £50 including a worthy optional gratuity. Love this place!! And hence why I gave a rare 5 stars 👍🏻👍🏻
We went for the Sunday with bottomless bubbles and tapas option, lovely little place in a fabulous area. The food was scrummy and plentiful we ended up staying there for 4 hours and tried out some of the cocktails later. The staff were helpful and non intrusive would recommend.
Simple, straightforward and delicious. The tapas are laid out in front of you and you pick what you like. It's almost like a tapas buffet but everything is fresh and in smaller servings so they keep topping it up with fresh tapas. Each tapas has a stick and they count up sticks to determine how much you pay for.
Delicious food. Great variety. Reasonably priced. Fun ambience. Music a bit too loud on one occasion requiring raising our voices to be heard. Apart from that fabulous and will go again.
Food is delicious, really interesting drinks, great service and generally a very nice vibe. Only issue, is their isn't enough food options - if there was a bit more variety and a bigger menu, I'd probably eat here every other day.
Amazing place to go and have drinks. The idea of a buffet that it well thought and it has a variety of food and drinks it hard to find, specially for a tourist. The staff it’s welcoming and the drinks are really good!
Awesome tapas, wines, and staff. Great atmosphere. Come on Sundays for their 33 euro all you can eat and drink special.
Not just a simple tapas bar. The location is fantastic, food is various and delicious. Good selection of wine, too. Staff is hearty and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Authentic Spanish food, not like another places under Spanish names who serve paella with chilli! Also lovely wine... Reasonable prices... lovely customer service... summing up: he disfrutado como un gorrino en una piscina de bellotas! Congratulations!
This place is really a hidden gem. The atmosphere, music and staff really allows you to enjoy the place. The tapas is served buffet style on sticks so you get to pick what you want.. think yo! Sushi but for tapas! Really good good. Best times are Friday evening but it does get busy
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The pinchos are excellent and such a variety. There were lots Europeans there so felt like I was in the Basque country back inSpain. The prices are reasonable (for London) and the house wine isn't bad. They have Cruzcampo beer!
What a lovely tapas bar. So many great choices that l couldn't decide on what to have.
Great place for Spanish tapas. A little pricey if you're hungry
Cute little place, tiny portions but tasty tapas. I’d give it 5 stars if the portions weren’t as small but that seems to be the trend in London now.
Yes i would go again, i enjoyed most of the food, i had a big gin & tonic which was just over £10, i would say to keep an eye on your what your eating it all adds up quickly.
Great wee place, extremely tasty choice of hot and cold tapas. Very chilled place to relax and fine, friendly staff and great prices all in a perfect location.
Love it! i was there over the weekend great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would perfer a larger selction of dishes but still worth a vist.
4 stars for great atmosphere, nice music, small portions but delicious food. Minus one star coz they are really overpriced
A great little place and a nice idea put to work with tapas. The servings/dishes are quite small though
Good selection of cold tapas, i was a bit disappointed by the selection of hot tapas (though meatballs were really good). Food was tasty, though portions are quite small. Service was OK, tables got cleaned relatively quickly (place wasn't full). Don't get carried away by small portions, at the end it can get quite expensive. All in all. Cute, little place on Portobello road. We went there at around 5pm on Saturday. Recommended. Due to selection of hot tapas (when we were there) i would recommend it more as a snack place than somewhere to get a dinner. Though it has nice music and atmosphere.
One of the few good mid price range tapas bars in town bang in the middle of bustling Portobello. Different Tapas to suit all tastes and an excellent spanish omelette. The staff are friendly and professional and it is self service with sticks to show the price range of the Tapas - good venue, good idea!
Going for a late lunch, I’d heard of Pix but never been. For the uninitiated, it’s a tapas bar, grab your plate, get the tapas from the constantly refreshed buffet and keep your cocktail skewers. At the end of the meal, they count your skewers and work out your bill. Simple concept with some good food. The drinks were strong and we enjoyed our impromptu but quick meal. Service was relatively attentive, we had to get up and go the bar to pay in the end but other than that. Not a complaint.
We came here weekday evening as we fancied some Spanish food and we weren't disappointed. Pix does unlimited tapas if you get there before 5pm on a weekday for £15pp which is incredible value for the quality. They also have a small outdoor seating area out the back which is rare for Notting Hill. Will be back.
Friendly staff, good service, waiter brought some fresh tapas from the kitchen direct to the tables. Infinity Sundays is a good deal, can normally get through a bottle of Prosecco per person. The restaurant is fairly relaxed about enforcing the 90 minute time limit.
Great atmosphere, but the food is not great. The bread they serve is too dry because it's been standing out for so long. The desserts are really good though! Good place for first dates!
I couldn't find a bit offer of Spanish wines and the price of the tapas was overpriced. Overall was ok.
Great location for a quick bite or a night out with friends. Worth trying the goat's cheese with figs, that was my favourite, however food altogether used to be better...
Food good if pricey. Staff hit and miss. Guy told us all the empty tables were reversed but we could sit down for ten minutes. Seriously?
Lovely food but portions are very small - The food is very nice, no doubt about that, but by tapas they really mean a mouthful so to fill yourself up you need to get 7+ of them and it all adds up in the end. Staff are friendly and chilled and the ambient is nice and trendy.
Food nice - good deal at £15 for all you can eat. Made the mistake of not asking how much the wine was - £7.50 per glass!!! We had two glasses each so the wine was as much as the food. Total of £60 for two. Too much for lunch!
We called in here to try the food after a default on the burgers next door - again food was ok but just ok... It's over priced for what you get and to pay £3. something for a small canopy (each) is to me a rip off, a larger canopy is slightly higher..... The service from the guys was fine and they seemed nice chaps... Would I eat here again probably not..
Tapas looked like they have been out there for quite a while, my definition of fresh is definitely something else. To be honest, we went there quite late and it was the only place which had still at least some food.
I have eaten here many times and I would give it 5 starts if it wasn't for the seedy event last Saturday night. The couple in the table next to mine drank by mistake our bottle of wine - we only had 2 glasses by that point, it was almost full. When I told the waiter and we realised what happened he went to get a new bottle for us, poured out the equivalent of the 2 glasses we already had and gave us the rest! An advice for management - you need a better customer service, it wasn't our fault and we should have received the full bottle as a nice gesture. Very seedy and cheap behaviour.
Went here last night. Didn't get it at all. Not enough of your own space. No backs to the stools, or cushions. Quite uncomfortable. But the thing that most got up my nose is that there is a service charge added, for what. You have to get your own food. Not a lot of fun.
Poor & disappointing. Food v greasy. Morcilla & Jamon dry as a bone. Never bothered to bring our drinks order to us!! Asked to move out table along a bit despite us eating!! Won't be going back again & do not recommend.
Horrible. Tapas buffer that was cooked 4 hours ago and then left to go cold and dry over the course of the afternoon. A total disgrace to Spanish cooking.
hugely overpriced and cheap cheap wine sold for 6-9 pounds a glass; and if its not cheap wine, its watered down..... and before being attacked by others that my review is rude, I worked in the hospitality industry in 2 different countries for more than 6 years full time and this is ridiculous. service is basic, nothing interesting. tapas in Spain are famous and since this place should at least mirror that experience, its a big letdown. the only thing I liked was the layout, which I find very nice. apparently over charging in London is common practice and very few restaurants/bar are above the line for not doing that and still giving a good service; this restaurant/bar is not one of those.
Food is limited for other types of eatersm they target main people who eat pig stuffm however, the non porky stuff is limited but some of which is nice. The deserts are lovely. The service charge is absolutely rediculous and because you actually collect your own food and some of the staff dont even know the content details of eavh food item. It is very expensive for what you get. Like a dish price for one or two mouth bites. Bit of a rip off. The manager is also rude, doesnt smile and looks you up and down. Bit pretenciousm doesnt realise people with money dont always wear channel. Wasnt dressed well herself. The only thing good to look at was the hot bar man. I wouldnt go in there again as its also tiny. And clastraphobic, pricey, and management are disturningly rude; doesnt aporeciate the hand that feeds them
