This place is awesome! The atmosphere is worth the visit. The pizza was amazing! There are pinball machines and arcade games and at least one pool table. They have a great variety of craft beer to choose from. One of the best pizza joints in the LBC.
Awesome pizza and beer. I dug the death metal but can understand why this may not be the place for everyone. Lots of take out orders and the place was full when we visited Appreciate the creativity with the food!
I'm a little audio sensitive so I don't tend to go too loud places for very long. This is definitely a loud place. If your audio sensitive like me, prepare yourself before you go in. I ordered their margarita pizza to go. It wasn't the best pizza in the world, but they look like they have a good following considering how many people were in the place at 4:00 p.m. on a Monday. Good service, good atmosphere.
Incredible food! We got the death to piggy pizza and two calzones all with vegan cheese. Everything was incredible. It has a pretty unique vibe with old horror movies playing along with really loud metal music. I will definitely be coming back!
This spot was on my "must try" list for the longest time and I finally had the chance to try it while attending Warped Tour and I will say I was not disappointed! Even tho it was packed the person behind the counter handled it like a champ and even answered all the stupid questions I had 😂 Pizza - 10/10 Atmosphere - 10/10 Staff - 10/10 If I ever get the chance to return to LBC I will be going back.
Truly a Metal bar. They had really fun metal music blasting overhead, two horror movies playing (TCM 1 and 8 Legged Freaks while we were there), a cooler full of alcohol from "cheap shit" to "expensive shit". The tables were small, but there is plenty of seating. The pizza was very good, and the canzone was bigger than my brother's head. We were in town for the anime convention and my cousin told us about this place. Now it is definitely a place we are coming back to when in town.
Wow! I heard from multiple people that this is the best pizza in Long Beach. I am a pizza aficionado, so I was sceptical. Slices! They serve slices! First of all, it was such a badass atmosphere. So much cool stuff to look at! I received excellent service by two guys, one is the actual owner! The pizza crust was crispy, airy, light, and perfect. Best crust I have ever had, ever! The sauce was perfect, I could taste the basil and garlic, and freshness! And a perfect cheese pull! A++++ This place exceeded my expectations, can't wait to return!
2nd time visiting, I am a fan of heavy metal and pizza so this place just makes perfect sense to me, I ordered two slices of pepperoni and devil knots, almost went with a salad but I'll try that next time. The slices here are pretty hefty, more like 2 slices to be real, the crust is really crispy and flaky, definitely worth mentioning, I washed it down with a mexican coke, one of my favorite sodas, ended up playing a few arcade games before I left, I wish they played more death metal than black metal tonight but thats my only suggestion here, good place to hang with your friends! 🤘
Garlic knots we're great very garlicky, had the white zombie pizza it was excellent!! Only complaint they only have beer and wine, wish they had a full bar menu. Great service bartender was awesome. The decor and music was very dystopian themed after the 4th horseman - Death. Sorry, didn't realize I only hit 4 stars this is a definite 5 star loved the pizza!!!
My husband and I drove here all the way from Riverside to check out this pizza joint. We had a date night and throughly enjoyed our experience. The highlights of the restaurant: 1. Kid free- yes please! 2. The garlic knots were to die for! 3. The horror and metal decor were awesome. 4. Mini arcade with classic games. The staff are super chill too. If we’re ever in Long Beach again, we know where to go for a dope atmosphere and delicious food!
This place is dope. Had the Death to Piggy and White Zombie. Both were delicious! So yes this place had good pizza, good beer, and awesome vibes, but I don’t see enough people on here talking about the Brussel sprouts. You need to try the brussel sprouts! 🤤. I was lucky enough to find street parking near the front. Streets are metered. I did notice there is a parking lot about half a block away. Can’t wait to be back.
This place was really good. The decor was horror and Metal.🤘🏽 They had very delicious pizza for vegans or vegetarian like me and they have meats pizza for the carnivores out there . The cashiers and servers were kind while serving the food and handling the orders. I feel bad for one guy he had to kick out two homeless for our protection . He handled very well I definitely felt safe with the staff! In my opinion they deserve more than5 stars ! Really thank you for a satisfying night ! It was my husbands and my cousins first time and they were pleased to say the least 🖤👏🏽🤘🏽
Looking for a bite to eat we came across this really cool spot with a vast menu of pub fare, pizza, calzones, and other amazing eats/drinks. We didn’t know that this is a 21 and older establishment. Despite that, there are tables outside where minors can sit (we had our 16 year old with us). We ordered food inside and waited. Waited some more and about 40 minutes later we had our calzones. To be fair, it was a little busy when we arrived. That said, the calzones are amazing. So dang good, and worth the wait. The delay wouldn’t keep me from returning, because it was that good. Get yourself some good eats/drinks!
Came here before dark harbor. Driving by you would not really notice this place. But inside is a great grunge bar. Good nods to horror movie, heavy metal music, old school arcade games, poole table and plenty of beer options, and best of all, pizza by slice as an option. But pies are good with good flavor, just wish it had been more crispy maybe a little longer in the oven. Service is 5 stars, just took 1 star for lack of crisp.
I had a slice of cheese and it was larger than your typical slice. I also had the garlic knots, and unfortunately they seemed undercooked in the middle. Cool vibe, nice service. Not sure where you park; their website says there are two places within a block where you can park for free for one hour, but maybe they could say where?
Finally got a chance to check out The 4th Horseman (4th & Pacific, Long Beach) — and I’m officially obsessed. Easily my new favorite pizza and beer spot in LBC. We had: 🍕 Captain Spudling – Bacon, cheddar, tater tots, mozzarella, sour cream 🍕 White Zombie – House-made white sauce, spinach, mozzarella, fresh garlic, olive oil Both pizzas were loaded with flavor and super unique. The Captain Spudling was like comfort food meets pizza perfection, and the White Zombie had the perfect garlic kick. For drinks: 🍺 Citrus Squall – Dogfish Head (citrusy, refreshing) 🍺 Hemogoblin Nitro Red Ale – A smooth collab between Altamont & The 4th Horseman The beer selection is legit and pairs well with the food. The vibe is spooky, artsy, and fun — a total hidden gem if you like horror-themed spots with great taste. Can’t wait to go back!
The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the irresistible aroma of fresh sourdough baking in the oven. I ordered the Rosemary’s Baby pizza and the Cheezy Knotz. The pizza was outstanding—savory sausage, melty cheese, and flavorful sauce all dancing together on a perfectly crisp sourdough crust. It went down easy without feeling heavy. The Cheezy Knotz, however, didn’t quite meet my expectations. The cheese was tasty, but the dough felt like it was missing something—perhaps a hit of garlic—to really make it pop. That said, the overall experience was fantastic. Between the delicious pizza, great beer selection, and laid-back 80s/90s & horror movie vibes, this place is definitely worth a visit. P.S. They say there’s a possessed doll here… you’ll have to see for yourself! 🤔👻
Pretty great place you can tell they stick to their roots through their theme. Super creative place, and I can appreciate all of the employees being pretty straightforward with their service and ringing people up promptly. A while ago I came with friends and one of them had thought they cited a cockroach but we dismissed it. On my personal newest visit, I encountered one crawling out from upside down under my table while I was eating.
Great spot for horror and spooky fans alongside metal music lovers, they have a great selection of beers on tap. Has an awesome indoor atmosphere that’s dark and lit by various red/blue lighting that gives it a dark vibe which is pretty cool! Ordered online the slasher( pepperoni) and garlic knotts, which were extra garlic which I love! The pepperoni pizza was a little too much on the oily side but still enjoyable! Overall it’s a good spot to go to and hang out and have a couple beers and share a pizza 🤘🏻 love the box art super sick
The door says “Pizza Beer Horror Metal” so don’t say you weren’t warned. Bride of Chucky was playing when I sat down. The kitchen was closed when I arrived around 10pm but pizza was still available by the slice. The pizza was generally average. The crust was thin but a bit tough. Each slice was quite large though, so that was cool.
