I only got to visit the shop once in person before moving away for a new job, but I’ve since had the pleasure of ordering tea and boba kits online. What a great experience! Now that I live in a town where boba isn’t much of an option, I’m thrilled to be able to make my favorites at home.
I love the coffee here! I haven't tried the food yet but am looking forward to it.
I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte with Lychee jelly and let me tell you, it was out of this world!! I honestly think the flavors combined with the lychee jelly texture elevated this drink and sent my taste buds to a much needed zen. I'm excited to try other drinks especially the Vietnamese coffee! Enjoy!
Went here very randomnly because the event I was supposed to go to didn't come through with being able to get tickets. I've heard of this place and I feel like i've been here one time long time ago. The tea is fresh because you have to wait 5 min to get your drink so that was nice to know it was freshly brewed for you. The selection was okay, i'm used to getting my usuals so it was a bit hard to decide what I wanted. But overall, i'm happy with my drinks and would definitely recommend coming here.
I like getting Boba from the Loose Leaf Boba Company. In my experience, the employees are always friendly and provide great customer service 🙂🤙🏿. If you're on their e-mail list, there's usually a decent-occasional deal. Employees wear masks and social distancing is set very well from the door. The tea is good and the Boba adds an occasional sweetness. I don't sweeten my tea with any other sugars so the Boba is enough. Customers can request how much Boba or sugar they want in their tea.
Finally a boba place in long beach that has all the bells and whistles. Cheese foam, jelly, boba, aloe...so many toppings to choose from, and those are just a few, I cannot name them all. I ordered a Hong Kong milk tea with cheese foam and it was delicious! My daughter had a strawberry matcha latte with boba.
i loved it! in walking distance to the A Line, very good tea!
Swung by here without any expectations. The workers were really nice and offered plenty of options. I ended getting a Macha with milk tea and it hit the spot. My friend got a Thai tea and it quenched our thirst during the summer heat. Easy place to find and free parking in the structure right next to the store. Will definitely visit again.
This will always be my top 1 boba spot ever. I have been coming to this spot since their soft opening many years ago, and the quality is still of drinks and boba is still great. Their seasonal drinks are always on point. Banana foster milk was seasonal but it was so popular, it became a regular item! I would order their Matchacado (Matcha and Avocado blended with ice) and Banana Foster Milk. Their boba is always sweet and QQ (al dente). If you dont like your drink, let them know and they would gladly replace it for you or adjust it to your liking. On top of that, the owner of this company stands up for equality for our Black, trans, and queer brothers and sisters. Thats why i have no shame in always recommending this spot.
The sandwichs and summer rolls are freaking amazing my sister and i have been wanting to try the food for a few weeks and finally. The pastrami was so tender and juicy and the aoil and chicken patie was great highly recommend the bbq pork
The drinks here are good but I actually really liked their new food menu too. I tried the spring rolls with the special pastrami, crispy pork belly, and chashu. All the meat was really tasty. The staff was also super nice, I had to pick a sauce but when I asked which one they recommended he just let me have both to try since it was my first time.
Very friendly and caring staff! They helped me find a drink flavor that I enjoyed! I got the Hong Kong Milk Tea with boba and the boba texture was soft and chewy! The drink had the perfect sweetness! Visiting here was a great experience and I would definitely recommend.
Nice little coffee and tea shop in promenade. It’s a vietnamese coffee .. the Boba coffee is good. You can dine in here or take out. Order through kiosk and they will call your name once order is ready , a small cold coffee with Boba will set you back by $6.1. It’s opposite to Ross there is nearby parking in 3rd street or in the parking structure behind
Super good teas, boba is hit and miss. I usually order matcha with mango or strawberry 🍓 milk tea. I quite enjoy their Thai/Oolong occasionally too. Service isn't friendly but it's quick.
I love this Boba place, the drinks are good and priced fairly. My go to is the Thai tea with coffee. They also sell Asian flavored snacks like KitKat or lays.
Came for the Fresh Teas and smoothies. Loved the taro-ube blend with grass jelly and cheese foam. The tea was also strong and really yummy too. Stayed for the vibes! The prices were really good as well.
This is my daughter's favorite sweet treat!! We initially started going to the location they had on Melrose, but after moving to OC 2 years ago this location has been stuck with us lol. I LOVE that they have vegan options, even for condensed milk now! The customer service is amazing, the drinks are delicious and we love the ambience and location in the heart of downtown Long Beach! Must try!
Good tea and coffee house in long Beach . Close to all the other amenities in the area. They got it right at first with me Hong Kong tea. And I know exactly how it’s a Hong Kong tea becouse I have been travelling for work there for 20 years. I was missing something to eat since it’s a drinks only place .
Matchacado is a must order! Was in downtown for brunch and dessert and my sis-in-law told be about this place. I do no regret dropping by this place. I enjoyed every sip of this drink! Will come back for another round!
Stopped by for the first time during their 1 year Anniversary. Parking is readily available in the garage next door or along the street. For the celebration, they had invited a tradition chinese lion dance and was giving out swag with trivia questions. They were also offering their mango colada which was quite refreshing, albeit quite sweet.

Been here twice and each time they had the kindest staff. She was so helpful and gave great recommendations on what drinks to order. When we didn't like one of the drinks, she was kind enough to remake it drink. The two times I've been it was just her working but even so she keeps everything going with little wait. Drinks are good! Strong drip Vietnamese Phin coffee. Looking forward to coming back when they finally serve food!
Excellent Vietnamese-style coffees. I love the banana cream on top! Quickly becoming my favorite DTLB coffee spot.

This place is a cut above the standard boba/tea place in that they don't use powdered mixes and use "premium teas and ingredients" I will say that the drinks we received had a very polished appearance and the sizes were an ok size. The large was taller but noticeably thinner then the regular size. You can see this in the photo I've posted. The drinks were very tasty and it was nice to be able to choose the sweetness level for the drinks. All too often the drinks are a sugary mess but not here. I think the drinks we ordered included a matcha tea, summer melon drink, mango colada type drink and a red bean one. They were all feel good except the melon one that tasted like watermelon juice with some red bean thrown in it. Definitely a weird combination. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back the next time I'm in Long Beach.
There isn't many boba places in Long Beach so this place was a nice find. The fact I'm able to enjoy my drink and experience the outside air with their open area, was relaxing. I really liked their Pandan Piña Collision. On the other hand, their purple roots drink was supposed to be a mix of Taro and Ube but it was more Taro flavored and you can taste the powder. Overall, it was a great experience since I was visiting from out of state.
Awesome tea that is consistent from week to week. I typically come here once a week and have never had a bad drink. My only complaint is what they expect people to pay for the pineapple cakes... outrageous!! FOUR dollars for a tiny cake that would likely cost not more than TWO in Taiwan! And I know because I go on a regular basis. SHAME!
What a great atmosphere to just relax and work. I did the interior space that's very open since it has garage type doors that open up so you receive plenty of fresh air and light. I came here with my coworker during lunch since we were both down here for a conference and they were polite and very insightful on the type of drinks they serve and how they recommend us to order them. I ordered the Assam Black Milk Tea with boba and my coworker ordered the regular Boba Milk Tea. In terms of taste, the Assam didn't have enough tea flavor in my opinion because I like drinks that are strong in taste. However, I did enjoy the boba they made because they were nice and soft with a kick of sweetness to it. I understand why they recommend sugar level to be at the halfway point because their boba adds more sweetness to it. I also appreciate that they take the time and effort to inform you that if the drink isn't to your preference or liking, they'll gladly remake a brand new drink for you. Overall, I've enjoyed my visit here and will be back in the near future when I'm in Long Beach.
It was one year anniversary for this store, no wonder it was packed and busy. My daughter ordered for me one of the purple roots boba. It turned out very good and different. I wasn’t a fan of boba , but this one is exceptional because of the taste and wasn’t sweet.
We came in right before closing, so the service was very fast (less than 3 minutes)! Decently priced for boba, and the best part is they have the cutest packaging thats all sustainable. Definitely will come again.

The summer rolls were delicious and a great value for the money, just giving 4 stars because the mixed greens were not fresh. They had started to go bad and I had to unroll the summer rolls (which is quite difficult) and pick out the rotted pieces. I feel bad not giving 5 stars because the rolls really were great and everyone was super friendly, but it was pretty inconvenient and kinda gross and I do think that y'all need to be more careful with checking the greens. Other than that everything was perfect but please double check your veggies because rotten lettuce is yucky and kinda ruins the experience
This place is great but they need to put a sign out front that designates separate lines for food and drinks. Waited 30 minutes to order drinks in a single line before finally getting inside and seeing a small sign that referenced 2 lines.

You will wait 15-20min for an iced tea and boba, one person is typically making the drinks and one person mans the register. This happens even if there isn’t a line. The drinks are good and the staff is VERY friendly/welcoming, but it’s not worth the long wait every time.
I used to come here often before and the drinks were amazing but ever since they gotten new management in the company at this location everything changed. The drinks do not taste the same as they did before and the cups look so different as well as the atmosphere and menu.
So expensive, ugh and then they offer to change things up for your liking not making us aware that they would slap on all these other up charges. When the drink already is a hefty price.
I was initially excited to try this location because I’ve been a loyal customer at the Santa Ana branch for years. I always order the Machicado there and love it—so naturally, I ordered the same drink here. Unfortunately, it tasted completely different. No similarities at all, which was confusing and disappointing. It’s surprising that the same company would serve such inconsistent versions of a signature drink. On my second visit, I decided to give it another shot and ordered a Vietnamese coffee. The line was long, so I placed my order while waiting. But even after the app said my order was ready, I was still standing there—last in line—watching everyone who ordered after me get their drinks and leave. My order wasn’t handed to me until much later, well past the expected time. After two frustrating experiences, I don’t think I’ll be returning. It’s unfortunate because this location is super convenient for me—close to work and easy to stop by. But I’ll have to start looking elsewhere.
Took some friends here for the first time and while the service and employees were very friendly, the product we received was lackluster. I got one of the Inspired drinks thinking it was more like a brown sugar milk drink, but it ended up being a slushie. This wasn't clearly communicated in the kiosk we were directed to order on. Another member of my party said her cheese foam was chunky. She wasn't sure if it was clumps of cream cheese, but it was off putting. I'm a huge fan of sustainability, but the bamboo straws broke very easily. To make matters worse, their drinks are still served in plastic and they only have trash bins-no recycling options. If you're going to go sustainable, do it right. Lastly, the restrooms were employee only. Our group had a 9 month old with us and there was nowhere to change a diaper.

I went in last night (nov 2) and ordered a strawberry matcha. I came in significantly before closing so I’m not sure why the workers were not polite I work at a restaurant but whatever. I ordered a strawberry matcha boba and when it came out there was no boba. So i asked about it they said they were out. Would’ve liked to know that before and when I said “I probably wouldn’t have ordered if i had known this” they just looked at me and turned and around and continued their conversation with eachother. I’ve been here a couple times but probably won’t come back.
