One of the gems of Sunnyside/Woodside. Having a bad time here isn't only impossible, it's illegal.
What a GREAT cash only LOCAL bar indeed!!!..Classic old school Queens bar, perfectly lit with fun and varied theme nights and a really cool vibe. Great bartenders and very reasonably priced ($7 Jameson). I definitely DO NOT classify this as a "dive bar", to me a "dive bar" has a certain innate smell, layer of filth and edge/danger (which I like at certain times). Flynn's is better than a "dive bar" because it has all that you would want from a dive bar and nothing that you would not.....
Love this place, old school neighborhood pub! Best sports bar in Sunnyside, lots of TVs. And as a Guinness lover, I'll say also Flynns has the best Guinness in Queens, possibly in Manhattan AND it's a great price. Go Man U!

Nice size bar. Loved the decor. The bartender, Norman, was very nice. The Jukebox had great selections. It's a neighborhood bar but very welcoming. It has a laid back atmosphere. The prices are very good. I would return.
