Came for a late night meal, service was great! There is a parking lot with plenty of parking in the back. Shoutout to Leslie for preparing this amazing fried rice! I’ve been to the other Baekjeong locations, and the only negative I would say is the marinated boneless short rib was a bit chewy. But other than that, the meats are always high quality! Will definitely be back again.
This place is the best place to eat Korean BBQ. Real Authentic Korean Food! It's more than just a Korean BBQ spot, it's full on expericese. The services are amazing and the meat quality is off the hook!! The marbled brisket melts in your mouth and the atmosphere is amazing. It feels like I'm in my hometown.
Insider Tip: Ask for Victor. Tell him I sent you. Baekjeong isn’t just dinner — it’s a theme park for meat lovers. From the moment we walked in, it felt like the opening scene of a blockbuster: bright lights, neon signs, super-friendly staff, and (shockingly, for LA) easy parking. The difference between this and my first trip to Universal Studios? Universal is staged. Baekjeong is the real deal. The vibe transported me straight back to my street food nights in Gangnam, Seoul — my favorite memories from my “before picture” fitness model days. The place is only a few months old, but so clean and polished it could’ve opened yesterday. My 20-year-old daughter looked around, wide-eyed: “Wait… Korea has spots like this?” Oh yes, padawan… if only you knew. Now, the food. Dry-Aged Beef & Pork – Beautifully marbled, preserved with a duck fat technique (Google it if you don’t know). Looks like food porn, tastes even better. Chadol “Brisket” – Among the best in K-town. That sauce? Let’s just say it’s… indecently good. Korean Steak Tartare (“Yukhoe”) – My top pick not just in LA, not just in SoCal — maybe in the entire U.S. I loved it so much, I ordered it twice: once as an appetizer, once as dessert. Yes, steak tartare for dessert. If you’re a first-timer, start with a meat sampler combo. You can’t miss here — everything is on point. And for my celebrity friends: they’ve got VIP spaces. Just inquire with Victor
Went in around around 10:30PM on a weekday. Brian helped us out and cooked our meat the entire meal. The Hodongs favorite combo was great and fulfilling for a party of two. Recommend for a good time in a chill environment while fulfilling your meat cravings.
I've been to Temple City Baekjeong multiple times, and it was always great. I wanted to try this location as soon as I found out they opened. Every meat and dish was as great as I expected, and we also loved how they decorated the restaurant, which gives us back in 90 s korean street vibe with all signs. Thanks to Eugene for cooking our pork belly perfectly and showing great hospitality. Not sure which location should I go next time lol. The restaurant is clean and the parking lot is big. I believe the valet was $5, which is affordable.
This is the new Baekjeong location. I think this is a better location because of the nicer interior and better parking. The food is great since they offer premium cuts of meat and the service is excellent. They have extras here, like the ice cold radish kimchi noodles, that sets this place apart from other joints. I highly recommend this place.
Food was great as always! also Bryan is very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely go back 👍🏻
The restaurant was surprisingly empty around lunch time but the food and service were great. I think you can order dinner menu items all day but they also have a lunch specific menu. Uploading a photo here since I couldn’t find that menu anywhere online.
They moved to a new place but still one of the best Korean bbqs in town!
We have just found our new favorite kbbq spot in LA. Not only was the food delicious. But the service made the entire experience even better. Victor & our server Glenn was A1!

Forget about all you can eat places. This was great. Excellent cuts of meat and very attentive service. We got a large combo and there was ample meat and plenty of side dishes. One awesome aspect of this meal and grill top is the side trough around the grill top. It gets filled with as much beaten egg and cheese corn as you want. Scrambled eggs with your Korean BBQ, who knew???!! There was so much food to eat you would never remember it wasn't all you can eat.
Great value for the quality of food. Some stand outs from the combos are the spicy pork belly, beef shortrib and brisket. They also have allergen information on their menu items available. Shoutout to Glenn too for the great service.
We had a large group of 40 people (Half of them were kids ages 4 to 7) celebrating the lunar new year and we had the best experience. The manager Victor was amazing to work with and helped us figure out the appropriate amount of food to order and how to make the event kid friendly. All of the wait staff was incredibly kind and efficient. The meat was next level delicious and high-quality compared to the typical all you can eat places. The banchan was perfect and the kids loved the eggs and the corn cheese. The vegetarians liked the bibimbap and japchae and Kimchi pancakes. It would have been easier for us to go to an AYCE spot with a group this large but I’m so glad we came here as recommended by the Korean families from our group.
I’ve been a couple of times at the old location and was excited to try the new one, and they did not disappoint. The meat was great, the vibe was amazing, and we loved the spicy buldak noodles on the side. I think the manager, Juliana, was so kind the entire time and made sure we had a great experience. Definitely try it out!
Went with a friend at around 3pm because that had to be the only meal of the day 😂. Obviously pretty empty. I forget which package we got but it was all beef with rib eye for 2. We ended up paying $80 or $85 each with tip and no alcohol. I am not korean so don’t expect me to speak as a connoisseur but the quality surpassed any of our previous experiences except for another place up the street that cost way more. We loved the banchan options, salads, and the seafood tofu soup. Also came with that soft egg that looks like custard. We were STUFFED and so happy. Also please don’t kill me but I love cheesy corn. The staff kept coming to turn the meat but we did a lot of the work too. I didn’t know some people just expect them to do all the cooking, I thought it was my fault if food burned.
Very cool and hip spot - spacious and great meat. Also has VIP area if you have VIP guests to host. Easy parking and heart of ktown.

I am finally writing this after 4 visits (twice for lunch and twice for dinner). First of all, love that they moved to a bigger space with easier parking (just for them). Next, the food is amazing. From the quality of meats (both pork, beef and tripes & intestines like mahk-chang, dae-chang, etc). I believe this is a sister restaurant of Agasshi Gopchang so the quality for that is the same. That all said, here is where I proceed with a bit of caution. Not all servers are created equal, in the sense of cooking your meat. They are ALL friendly and nice but definitely your quality of cooked meat, especially marinated beef will be different. So pay attention and make sure the temperature of the grill is right or have someone who is meticulous in BBQ. First time, it wasn't as busy and we did have a Korean guy server who cooked our pork belly and pork jowl to perfection. Crispy on the outside abd juicy in the inside. The second time, we ordered beef (rib eye, tenderloin, and marinated ribs without bones). Half of the beef was burnt and the marinated ribs were caramelized burnt. I am talking about a hardened coating of crystallized soy sauce/sugar. When they are very busy, one or two at your table need to watch the fire and make sure the marinade is less liquidy when put on the grill. The "best value" is all their lunch specials. Individual one is great, as is the special for 2 (perfect for even number groups). The cold noodle broth in the slushy machine is perfect for summer and delicious. Regarding service, everyone is friendly and tries to make your experience great. Again, in regards to grilling, just be aware when they are busy. Atmosphere is a bit loud, especially at dinner time but decor is clean and fun and there is kpop blaring. Regarding pricing, lunch time, you can spend $20-$30 on specials including tip. Dinner time, depends on the amount of food but definitely can spend $50-$75ish per person.

The reservation process was not the best...I needed to delay by 20-30 min. I called and left a VM over 30 minutes before my reservation and then got reprimanded I was 20 min late. We then had to wait another 20 minutes. Street parking it tough, but now I know the valet is easy and not too pricey. Otherwise the food was really great and the server service was amazing. They were very nice, good recommendations and very attentive. And I didn't walk away smelling like BBQ. I'll definitely recommend and come back!!

I ordered the beef + pork combo. They grilled the beef first, which was enjoyable and cooked nicely. However, the pork was a bit disappointing. The samgyeopsal lost too much moisture while cooking, making it dry, and the marinated pork ribs lacked depth — it was just a basic sweet galbi flavor and nothing more. We also ordered the “Yang Bap” (fried rice), but the diced radish kimchi inside was overly sour and didn’t balance well with the other ingredients. On a positive note, the interior was beautifully remodeled and had a clean, fancy atmosphere.

We were really excited to try Baekjeong since our party of five loves KBBQ, but unfortunately it was a big letdown. Maybe we came on an off night? Sad to be writing this review. Service was just average--our servers seemed like they didn't want to be there, and we had to ask multiple times just to get basic things like water. The meat was very fatty, and we ordered all beef, which was disappointing. The banchan (side dishes) were noticeably smaller portions and less variety than what we've had at other KBBQ spots. We also tried their "special" brisket fried rice, which turned out greasy, bland, and barely had any brisket in it. Definitely not worth the hype or price. However, the marinated beef was very good. The atmosphere was lively with fun decor and good energy, but the music was blasting on top of the loud fans from the grills--it was nearly impossible to have a conversation. We asked several times for them to lower the volume, but it stayed uncomfortably loud. The restaurant was very clean and mostly empty- about 25% full. Prices are also on the higher side, especially considering the underwhelming quality. Parking is limited to street spots or paid valet. Overall, nice ambiance but everything else--from service to food--missed the mark. It was amazing and it was horrible. But, definitely not the KBBQ experience we were hoping for.
If you are not ready to service, just tell us you are closed and don't give us that attitude. TROY was the server who said we were okay to dine in at 10:30 pm but the food took forever to be served. Imagine that we have to throw away the cheese corn because it's burned in the first round. The light is up at midnight to kick us out when there are a couple of places that have not been cooked. Imagine how slow the service was even though we were the only table by that time. All the attitude by TROY has been thrown away to us when he needed just a tip but no service.
I used to like Baekjeong, so I was really looking forward to the new location in Koreatown, LA. But this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m never going back. We ordered a set menu, but the meat had a bad smell — especially the marinated one, which had a sour, spoiled odor. The side dishes were disappointing and there was nothing worth eating among the side menu items either. Everything tasted terrible. So, so bad.
We are regulars at other Baekjeong locations, but this location has the worst service by far. Our server Brian gave us attitude while cooking the meats, forgot about multiple requests/orders we placed, and rarely checked up on us. Food was alright, but hard to say since it burned and we practically had to cook it ourselves. There weren’t too many other tables since it was late, and it took him at least 10-15mins to bring the check. Would not recommend this location just based on service alone
