very nice
A 4.2 is disgraceful! Should be much better! Great food that rivals any dish in the SGV area and the prices are fair. The Peking duck was a little dry but overall i loved it. Bill came out to 130ish for a full Peking duck, crispy rice soup, chow fun, spicy salted shrimp, chinese broccoli, and some dim sum. This will definitely cost you more in SGV. It was CRAZY busy and it was packed and people waiting and with 3 waitresses they made it happen!
Getting authentico Chinese food in Chinatown before jumping to Las Vegas is the experience itself! Thanks- the food is not overdone and not over seasoned and heavy! Perfect
I have been coming to ABC Seafood Restaurant whenever I’m in town for years, and it’s one of my absolute must-stop spots every single visit. Everything here is exceptionally amazing — from the freshest seafood to perfectly cooked dishes. The Peking duck is my all-time favorite, and the crab and lobster are unbeatable. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. 1000/10 recommend!
I have been coming here for 12 years and this Sunday we came as usual we walked in and took sometime to get acknowledge not a huge deal knowing this place but we got a table the lady who usually takes care of us seen to be on break all other none Hispanic families that came in after got their order taken even when we try to flag the waiter down and got ignored other customers started to make comments about us so we got up and walked away only one of the managers in the parking lot who saw us wait for long time for parking apologize. I work at a car rental @ LAX and I always send people here, never again. I guess Ocha Thai food will have all business even if they don't sale duck, this place discriminate Latinos idk y when that their biggest clientele at the take away front restaurant
Delicious food and free pot of tea to accompany meal. Food arrived promptly and fresh. Turnip cakes were freshly fried and perfect temperature. Seafood with Bean Curd Hot Pot is savory, saucy, and perfect over a bowl of white rice. Perfect stop for authentic, delicious, hearty and fresh Chinese food while you're in Chinatown.
Delicious. Go early in the morning. I had the chow mein, fried pork chops which were ridiculously delicious along with the green beans and beef stir fry with bell pepper, and chicken feet! Everything was great! They also have dim sum! Yall the place is always busy so you know they’re good! I go here once a week now. Also they have dine in! Love it here.
This is a nice and simple no frills place, you go in, you point to what you want and they package it for you to go. No sit down area. I didn’t see a menu explaining any of the dishes, so I was a little confused on what to do when I initially arrived. Please be prepared to order when it’s your turn, otherwise it might be a little intimidating The food though, so good and good price for dim sum with great flavors
Found a recommendation for the restaurant online and invited my parents. Don't judge by the outside the inside is what counts and the food here is delicious. Great portions for the price and the service was wonderful as well. We had the Shrimp wonton soup, noodles were perfectly chewy and springy. The wontons had the perfect amount of flavor and the prawns were huge! Also had the crispy squid, highly recommend!!! Not oily at all, the batter was very light and the squid wasn't dry at all. Prawns with lobster, great presentation, again huge prawns. And the Chicken Crispy Noodles, the sauce was a great balance and the noodles were nice and chewy. Lots of chicken and it was very juicy and tender. Can't wait to go back!
They are trying to do good business! They charge less money and give you so much food! Which help the nearby community. I like them, but for Chinese, the food is just acceptable.
So many restaurants to choose from when in Chinatown and this one didn’t disappoint. They do not have the best service, the inside is far from fancy but the standout is the food. Everything we ordered was served hot and was over the top tasty. My favorite was the seafood crispy noodle chow mein, very generous with their seafood and just enough crisp with the sauce. Thinking about it makes me want more. They have dim sum also but order from the menu style and not the carts. They also have a fast food type area with an entrance on the side of the restaurant with duck, soy sauce chicken, pork belly all sold by the pound, dim sum options and then entree combos. They have a small parking lot but there’s also street parking and a paid parking lot nearby.
Their “hand shredded free range chicken” is probably the best in LA, IMO. Standard Cantonese cuisines. BBQ items & seafood are above average among so many choices in Chinatown & SGV. Generous portion sizes and great for family style. Their lunch specials menu is a bargain. Tasty and offer every day of the week.
Not a restaurant but a quick serve cafeteria. Wrapper on the shrimp har cow was too thick and meat didn't have much flavor. Other dim sum were at least edible but not superb. They only sell in sets of threes or fours; you cannot buy just one item (to try). There are no place to sit and enjoy your food, so it's take out only.
Awful food and terrible experience here. I once ordered uberEats and decided to get a 2 item combo and realized that their food taste awful. It tasted expired, moldy and sour. Thought I would never eat here again but I decided to try it one more time. This time I decided to go in person and try their food again, hoping it would be different this time. First of all, how do they allow a 'B' rating restaurant deliver for uber. Second of all, they haven't changed a bit... their food is still awful, it's like they always use expired food. They add way too much seasoning to their food to try to hide the bad taste from the meat. Their food is either deep fried or has way too much seasoning to try to hide the bad taste and expiration of the food. Don't come and eat here, you'll regret it. And if you dont believe me, go and try their food.
I ordered 5 types of dim sum. definitely not the best. I need to ask the server 3 times for hot mustard and more napkins. The shu mei were luke warm. The fried pot stickers were soggy. They took them back and remade them. The new batch of potstickers were only crispy on the edges and very oily. The har gow had way too much dough around the succulent shrimp. The fried shrimp balls were rubbery. And the Bao with BBQ pork had too much breading and not enough filling . Overall unsatisfactory. I will not return.
