Great tasting bagels. Friendly people. Easily the best bank for your buck. I got the everything bagel with Spanish omelet. The place was well staff when I went around New Years and the service was quick considering the circumstances.
Pico's best kosher bagels
The bagels, schmears and challahs are delicious. They do sell out so if you're looking for something in particular, pre-order or come early
A workmanlike bagel spot: certified kosher mind you, unlike many others. They have a couple seats and tables outside. Wide selection of flavored cream cheese and they use a decent white fish salad. The lox cream cheese is good.
The service here is quick. 4 people in front of me I was out in 5 minutes. The bagels are on my top3 for the local equivalents. Coffee is hot and creamers are available. Try it, you will not be disappointed!
I'm from Brooklyn, New York and I know bagels. The bagels here are great and always fresh. Great selection and their pricing better than most. I wish they would stay open longer in the night like it's done in Brooklyn. They also make fantastic breads.
Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside -- these might be the most authentic bagels west of the Hudson. There's always a line but service is quick and efficient. In a hurry? They offer takeaway shmears and packaged smoked fish, just grab a dozen to go.
Friendly spot, great prices, and outdoor seating. Vegan cream cheese is really good, they also sell their cream cheese packaged so you can enjoy it at home too!
Omg ! I used to come here with my father all the time when I was little! I lived right up the street ! Its great to know it's still there!
I grew up on these bagels, and for those who know, know. Once you've eaten these, there are no other bagels to discuss. These are unicorn bagels, here, folks. Get them and support small business. Very Covid prepared for in store order/pick up.
Great bagels. Quick service. Parking is a bit snug but they move people through quickly. Loved the pretzel bagel with chive cream cheese. Cinnamon raisin was tasty. Partner got egg pretzel with lox cream cheese and enjoyed it.
This is the best bagel place hands down!! Amazing bagels, soups, best cream cheese!! And the customer service is fantastic! We were standing in line this morning (during COVID) and many customers came up to complain about the line (which went very quickly). Come on guys its a Sunday! What do you expect?😂 The owner’s grandson was very sweet and understanding with the customers and reassured everyone that they will be with them shortly. What a nice guy! All around a great experience as usual:)
Absolutely delicious! Loved the bagel texture and the amount of ingredients on the sandwich had a nice balance. First time ever trying an Egg Pretzel Bagel and it was fantastic. Definitely will be coming here again!
This is the spot. Bagels are so good, soft and fluffy and they always slam on a good heap of shmear. Bagel omelets are delicious as well and everything is so cheap. This is how a bagel shop should be, and there are so few in LA compared to the 'Yeasty Boys' type spots that will charge 10x the amount for a worse bagel with less cream cheese.
This place is a neighborhood staple. Bagels always fresh, great spreads (jalapeño cream cheese and whitefish are my favorites), and the soups are a must get, no matter the weather. When available, the combo of their fresh soft pretzel + sonny's split pea soup = incredible. I live very close to the cadillac location and I have been a customer for over a decade and I continue to go not only go back, but I still look at it as a treat after all these years. Went today and there was a line out the door, but they were only allowing 2-3 customers in at a time. I felt the need to write this review because the owner's grandson was at the door opening it for customers and sanitizing it. I have always loved this place but I just really appreciated the service today, especially during these difficult times.
Top 3 bagel place in LA. Very authentic NY style bagels. They taste the best early in the morning. I used to get a bagel every single morning from here during residency when I was rotating through the west side. Other places I remember being great were Bagel Broker and Brooklyn bagel company. The challah bread here is nice and soft, very tasty. Terrible little parking spots.
The best bagels in town. I love their soups. The soups are the most flavorful. We always buy the bagels for our special occasions. Consistent service staff always has a smile. Parking in front or on the street. There are a couple breakfast runs where the place gets busy, but the owner staffs this place with plenty of help and you can get your food and coffee very quickly. Excellent place.
bagels are on point just a little small compared to what i'd get on the east coast, so i often get two. coffee is excellent. i can tell they're feeling the economic squeeze as much as the rest of us, it's a bit pricey but i'll keep going to support a local spot i love.
I have been to a few different Bagel Factory locations around town and would say this is probably the cleanest and most efficient. Parking is really easy, there is a free lot right out front and service is usually very fast. They always have a large selection and I never have to wait very long for my order. This past visit I got the Tuna Melt on everything bagel and thought it was really great. We also got a few different other types and those two really hit the spot. The bagels here are always consistently fresh and I would recommend if you are in the area.
I love everything about this place :))) Last week I tried their egg salad sandwich for the first time and OMG it's delicious! I usually go for the broccoli cheese soup but it was a hot day so I didn't feel like soup. Every time I stop in I always get at least 6 bagels to take home and freeze and they are just wonderful toasted with cream cheese. If you're in the area I highly recommend eating here!
Bagel Factory is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving authentic, fresh-baked bagels that actually taste like real bagels. The texture is spot-on — crisp on the outside, perfectly chewy on the inside. Their selection is fantastic, from classic plain and everything bagels to cinnamon raisin and more specialty flavors. The staff is always friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. You can tell they take pride in their work and the quality of the food. Their cream cheese spreads are fresh and flavorful, and their breakfast sandwiches are made with care (try the egg, cheese, and bacon on an everything bagel perfection!). I also love how clean and welcoming the place is. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or picking up a dozen for the office, you can always count on Bagel Factory to deliver deliciousness. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who appreciates real bagels it’s a hidden gem in LA that deserves all the love!
Easy to find, ample parking, great service and a delicious omelet bagel - what more can you ask for? As someone who lived in NYC for fourteen years I can say that the bagel that I had today lived up to NY bagel standards. I’ll def be back!
Best bagels in town! I've been enjoying these delicious, warm bagels for many years. The bagel flavors have never changed in the last 40 yrs. Highly recommend 👌
I recently visited Bagel Factory and had a delightful experience overall. The place has great prices, delicious food, and impressively fast service. However, there was one minor disappointment: they don't serve pickles! Let's start with the positives. Bagel Factory offers an incredible selection of bagels, each one freshly baked to perfection. The variety of flavors and toppings they have is truly impressive. I tried their everything bagel with cream cheese, and it was absolutely scrumptious. The bagel was perfectly toasted, and the cream cheese was smooth and flavorful. It was evident that they use high-quality ingredients. What impressed me the most was the efficiency of the service. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that orders were promptly taken and delivered. Despite the bustling atmosphere, my order was prepared quickly, allowing me to enjoy my meal without any unnecessary wait time. The fast service definitely added to the overall positive experience. However, as a pickle enthusiast, I was disappointed to discover that Bagel Factory doesn't offer pickles on their menu. It would have been a wonderful addition to complement the bagels. While this may seem like a small detail to some, I believe that pickles can add a special touch to any sandwich or meal. It would be great if the establishment could consider adding pickles as an option in the future. Despite the absence of pickles, I can't deny that Bagel Factory left a lasting impression on me. The combination of great prices, delicious food, and fast service truly makes it stand out. If you're in the mood for fantastic bagels, this place should be at the top of your list. Just be aware that pickles aren't available, so adjust your cravings accordingly. Overall, I highly recommend Bagel Factory and will definitely be returning for more of their mouthwatering bagels!
I bit my bagel and said wow. These are crafted bagels. Crisp outside, soft inside, generous seasoning..... They also have nailed vegan cream cheese, the texture is lightly whipped and they have chive vegan cream cheese. Delicious, will be here often. Staff was friendly and efficient too
The whitefish salad here is the best I have had!! The even have bialies!! Plus, egg pretzel or a regular pretzel and a rye bagle.
My family has been coming here for years, this is the spot. Would 100% recommend.
Broooo, don’t even think twice. I would literally fight someone if they tried to close this spot. The salt bagel is TO DIE FOR if you are a fan of salty stuff, and if you are not, try it anyway. You will be converted. It’s an east coast bagel place on the west coast, can’t beat it.
If you want a better bagel, this is the place. They have rainbow bagels, which are perfect for kids

Stopped by this place for takeout and had a really good experience. I ordered a sandwich and it was fresh and well prepared. The bread was soft, the filling was balanced, and the portion size was good. Staff was polite and service was quick. Overall, everything was smooth and I would come back again.
I am a Brooklyn boy living in San Francisco and found the bagel factory to be the best bagels west of the Mississippi! Their bagels are also a complete rival of the best of New York! So, but not though. Variety tremendous, even green ones on St. Patrick’s Day, Onion, bagels and garlic are my favorite and my wife goes for the everything bagel as well as sesame. But you can’t go wrong at this place. My three married daughters who live in Los Angeles say that everyone they know goes there – for good reason!!$
Affordable, delicious bagels, bomb cream cheese. What more can a girl ask for?
Bagel Factory is great. Pretty straightforward menu with lots of choices. Clean, efficient, well run. Delicious Bagels. Parking is free but when it’s crowded… it’s crowded.

I wish that their customer service was as good as their food. The employees weren't rude to me or to any other customer while I was there, but still- not even a smile? I wasn't greeted or felt welcomed. Still, I would probably will come back here because it's convenient to me; located on my way to work, has free parking, and the service is fast. I waited not more than 5 minutes for my bagel. They offer a variety of different kinds of bagels, including rainbow, blueberry, chocolate, rye, onion, plain pretzel, egg, raisin, sesame, jalapeño, etc. I tried the egg pretzel bagel with cream cheese spread. Their cream cheese was delicious and the bagel was nice and fresh. The next day I stopped here again and tried a salt bagel with veggie cream cheese. Loved it. They take Apple Pay! Free and easy parking just in front of their shop.
Bagels were quite good, price was very fair

The bagels were really good but it’s one of those places where everyone seems like they’re in a bad mood, like they’re somehow too busy to be kind to their customers. Had to stand in line to get my to-go order and it took 15 mins for them to serve bagels to the 3 people ahead of me... but again, really good bagels.
Just got 3 different kinds of bagels and 2 of them were pretty hard and definitely not fresh. Their cream cheese is delicious though so I might give them another chance , not sure yet...
Was running late but was not impressed with neither the service nor the food which was bagel with cream cheese n lox. No veges. Lady gave me a look when I asked for lox without veges. Almost $10. I think this was my first time and last. There is lot other place I can go get onion bagel with cream cheese n lox for 10 buck.
Bagels we’re fine, but tasted a bit old. Nothing like the bagels I’m used to on the east coast. Needs to be a bit more doughy. Not much better than store bought Maybe I got them at the wrong time of day? At 9am on a Thursday they should have fresh bagels
Love that we have a neighborhood bagel place, BUT since Covid, they only have 1 choice for lox (packaged to buy) & it's the absolute worst! It's so processed, I just have little interest in stopping in anymore. Need to offer the same quality lox you will put on your sandwiches (& maybe offer whole wheat onion bagels). Oh, and would it kill you to actually put a decent amount of cream cheese on my sandwich???

I love soup. And I hate to leave bad reviews. But I've had so many bad experiences here that I can't hold back any longer. Because I love soup I often find myself stopping here for lunch as I drive by. And it's always the same. Luke warm soup. If there is one thing good soup should be it is HOT. Even if it is the best soup in the world, if it's not served hot is it ruined. Luke warm soup is bad no matter what. Now, when I call the soup luke warm, I am being generous. Usually the soup is barely a notch above room temperature. But today was the last straw. I will never go back. I ordered split pea soup that was room temperature, bordering on cold. It was as if you took a can of split pea soup out of the cupboard, opened it and ate it without heating it. It was so bad I took one bite and threw the rest in the trash. I could not eat more than one bite. And I love split pea soup. But I do not love cold split pea soup. Sorry Bagel Factory/Sonny's Soups. I've given you so many chances and it's always the same. While I'm at it, I'd like to point out that bagels are $1.50 here, but if you add cream cheese it doubles the price to $3. And this isn't one of those places that generously piles the cream cheese on. You get a light smear of cream cheese on your bagel for an additional $1.50. A bagel with a dab or cream cheese shouldn't cost $3.
Bagels are weight gain bombs, but that is beside the point. I don't like their food selections. It's always freezing cold inside this place. There is nowhere to sit. The decor is horrid and unappealing (see the photos others have posted on here) I've tasted far better coffee elsewhere. It's adjacent to a constant noisy car traffic intersection
Bagels were good but place was very dirty and the bagels had flies. There was more than one display compartment that had several flies and the outside tables were a mess. If you can overlook those things than you'll enjoy the bagels.

Me thinks they changed (cheapened) their bagel ingredients post plan-demic. Their bagels are nothing special, dry and not professional quality. Even though they are the closest bagel shop to me, I just go up to Pico for Sam’s bagels- which are LEGENDARY quality. I used to frequent this shop for their affordable bagel sandwiches but not anymore; they cheapened the taste and made them pricey so makes no sense. Also the staff is never that friendly - a trend too common today with the minimum wage too high as it is. Service no longer cares about tips. (Side note about their clientele- I was disgusted to see a teacher pull up in her SUV and put the handicap placard- the entitlement in this area needs to be exposed. This doesn’t affect their 2 star review)

Ordered a bagel with lox & cream cheese. It was awful! The onions were old & chewy/stringy. The tomatoes were old & wilty. The capers were also old & chewy and the cucumber was rubbery. I wanted the bagel toasted and it was cold when I bit into the sandwich. Also, lox should be made open face because it is too difficult to eat in sandwich form...everything just squeezes out when you take a bite. On a side note, the cashier was unfriendly and the shop seemed dirty. I will not do business here again.
MIDCITY LOCATION Do not use your credit card here! Better yet, I will never patronize this establishmentAgain. I used my AmEx card and this card does not leave my home. I used it at this establishment and the credit card was compromised. Yes, they tried to use it not once but twice. There is someone or more than 1 person talking customers information for their own personal use. THAT'S ILLEGAL! I did reach out to management via email on their website with no returned response. I have issues with people trying to take from andand capitalize off me then pretend you are servicing the people. Fraudulent Scammers
No more bagels at 1 P.M.?!?!? What bagel shop does not have bagels let alone STOP serving you completely at 12:55 P.M. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE !!! Staff is very rude and unfriendly. Owner pops by once in a blue moon and does nothing to help just takes his own bagels and makes a kid smile.
Scary looking owner and terrible bagels. The owner drops in about once a day to supervise and as soon as he walks in, all the workers look so scared, seriously there is something going on. Dirty atmosphere and unsanitary.
Tried to support and ordered to go. Walked 30 min with our 3 year old. They had door locked, dirty tables outside and we tried to call, the workers acted like they didn't see or hear us. One waved us as a bother. Another ignored phone too and we could hear it. Saw our order was now cancelled. Used google pay. Now we wait days for refund. My wife used to use them for business luncheons. Their hours of operation were online and on door until 3 or 3:30 pm. We got there at 2:30 pm. We're done. Plenty of businesses to support.
