Cheech's Pizza

Has been my go to Los Feliz pizza stop for a couple years now. Love the whole pizza and ability to customize your own slices.

I placed a delivery order for a meeting of 25 people. I twice had to reschedule the delivery date because the meeting kept being rescheduled. Despite all of that, I received exactly what we ordered right on time and it was very yummy. In fact, several pizzas were all eaten by the end of the meeting. The service was incredible. Doug was so friendly and accommodating -- not at all annoyed that I kept rescheduling. Reasonably priced as well. I had never ordered from Cheech's before but I will from now on.

I was craving pizza on a Saturday night, I found this place on Maps, and I wasn't disappointed! The pizza was super cheesey with high quality ingredients, and the slices were HUGE! The price of the slices and whole pizzas is fair given the size and the quality. The staff was super kind and the place was clean, super chill and comfy (is a small place so it's not great for large parties). I recommend the meat lover and margherita pizza. The only thing that bothered me was the parking, I spent 15 minutes trying to find a spot but I know it is not their fault.

I love Cheech’s. It is like a throwback sort of place. I feel like I’m in my teens in the 90s when I walk in. It smells absolutely delicious and there is just zero pretentiousness. The folks that run everything there seem awesome- friendly and chill. The prices are such a relief. And the pizza is literally perfect. Thanks for keeping it real and wonderful Cheech’s!

Top quality pizza here. Cheech is the coolest guy around, lets you put whatever toppings you want on your slice and gives you a big slice hot and fresh. Super kind guy, great quality food. Well deserving of anybody’s business.

I was walking around hillhurst trying to find a spot to eat, when a smell of absolute delicious goodness guided me to this spot. Upon entering I was surprised by the variety and number of options from meat lovers to veggie. I ordered the lasagna and my partner got the deluxe calzone, to say it was delicious is an understatement… we finished it in less than five minutes. The crispy garlic bread and freshness of the sauce makes me want to return tomorrow and try the sandwiches. I have found my new favorite spot. 11/10 would recommend

Superb pizza!...The first time I ever tried this pizza was one evening on my way home on my bike. It was well after dinner time and i ordered three slices to go. It had the vibe of a family owned operation. The guy taking the orders and the dude preparing pizzas (who also handed me my order in a pie box) were both friendly. I loaded the pie box on my bike rack and off i went. What a surprise to get home and open the box to find six slices. I am pretty sure it wasn't a mistake..Who orders six slices when a whole pie is probably cheaper?..It was probably near closing time, but regardless they didnt have to do that. Both my roommate and l had a late dinner that night. We both agreed it was very good. I would say their pizza is among the best I have had in LA. Having grown up in Brooklyn, NYC, I know good pizza when I taste it.

Best pizza in Los Feliz; fast service but if it weren't it's still worth the wait. Great lunch specials. Cozy inside. Kind staff. Would not skip this spot if it's pizza or mozz sticks you're craving

One of the best places to get pizza AND salad, period! Their pizzas are 2 for the price of one! Who doesn't love that? Fresh and made to order. Pizzas are perfect sized. Even if you decide to get a pizza by the slice, oh man... That slice is actually 2 and they are huge!! Salads are huge and plentiful. The parking situation is pretty bad. There is only street parking and it's on Hillhurst, need I say more? Come when your patience is running high. Seating can get limited. There are about 2 small tables outside for 2 people at each table, only. Or inside has about 3 tables for bigger parties, but realistically, only seats about 8 combined. You definitely must try this place out!

This place is actually super great. I got a slice of the Cheech and it was so good and the price was pretty good too. It was a huge slice. My friend ordered wings and they were really well prepared. My pals also got subs that looked pretty dank. Great spot to hit, especially before a show at the Greek.

Been coming here for awhile now. Ally is an angel and never disappoints with humility, humbleness and customer service. The vegan is A+. I would recommend.

The BEST PIZZA IN AMERICA!! GREAT food and service. The only place where the pizza crust is why you go there. You never have to force your kids to finish the crust. Seriously worth fighting over . First stop after flying into LAX. 🛬🍕

Was looking for some decent places to eat near Griffith Park. Luckily found this one. It's a small eatery with good ambience. Pizza was amazing. Staff were very friendly. This is a family owned business and they are doing it great. I would love to go back here.

Great combo deal, slices were tasty and the mozz sticks were good. The man at the counter was awesome and really made the experience great. He was doing everything by himself and still had a smile.

I was given a complimentary two extra slices of pizza. (Thanks!) I enjoyed their thin crust tomatoes and basil pizza, crispy chicken wings with ranch/bbq dipping sauce. Similarly, their cold Apple juice was a perfect thirst quencher. Interior atmosphere was relaxing with good Pandora music as you enjoy your pizza. Inside seats are limited but they have three front outside tables with street view. Prices seem fair. Service was on point. Allie was sweet and professional. Street parking only. Collectively, this pizzeria joint is one of the best in the area. I enjoyed my dine-in experience and recommend you visit. Until my next visit.

I dunno where else I can eat a $5 slice of pizza inside a brick and mortar establishment (as of April 2025 when this was written). Pizza is easy to do, and even mediocre pizza is delicious. HOWEVER, I think Cheech’a Build Your Own Slice, as well as the DELICIOUS dough puts this place above a lot of others!! Big recommend for people who want to explore Los Feliz but don’t want to sell an organ to eat out.

I was able to have a nice convo about the neighborhood’s iconic spots and architecture between a worker (I wish I asked for her name), and another customer. It was a nice chill time!

I was privileged enough to experience the pizza known as the “KP Special” last night. By Jove, it was the best pizza I’ve ever had! Gluten free, Parmesan instead of mozzarella, pepperoni, garlic, basil; what more could a girl want?! The real surprise came when KP himself delivered it. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Everyone should go here and order this pizza. Your life will be better.

Me and my girlfriend have came here twice in the past month. The pizza and wings are delicious! Take advantage of the lunch special for it is affordable! Not to mention the owners who are very welcoming and nice! Shoutout to my boy Doug who played in the major leagues for the cardinals!

Pretty good pizza. Bottom of pizza was too dark however. Nice little pizza shop with great atmosphere. Lots of good reviews, so it might have just been a one off. I'd have to check it out again to see if it's normally that dark or I just got a one off

Awesome pizza place. The staff was friendly and the pizza was great. It was a bit greasy on the top, but other than that it was good. Most pizza places have very dry crusts, but Cheech's does a good job of having moist, warm crust. Would definitely go again.

I have to say the Meat lover’s pizza was good. I loved the crust. It had a sweet taste to it. The price was reasonable, too. The employee was amazing.

The side salad was actually good but the pizza was weird. The crust had no chew, I don't know if it's because they didn't knead it or use some unusual flour but it had a strange, dry texture and parts of it were overbaked.

I ordered a regular calzone along with 6pc wings. The calzone was made of 4cheeses and sauce. I ordered it to-go so I didn’t see my food until I got home. I noticed my calzone was unusually flat. The dough was a little chewy. I can’t say for sure but my impression is that this was a literally a small pie folded in half and sold to me as an imposter calzone. Everything was stuck to the sides and not in the center like a pocket and there were no air holes where it would normally puff up. Did not look like the pics online at all. And not at all how a calzone is made. Two stars because service was nice until I felt slighted.

Such a shame to see this place go down the drain. Grew up here, and cheech's was the go to spot if you wanted a decent local fresh made pizza for a good price. I don't know what has gotten into the owner, but they are now selling their pizzas for the same price as high end pizzas. The prices make absolutely no sense for the size and the quality. For the same price you can either Go to Lunas or Lucifers For a better pizza, or you can just drive the extra ten minutes to Giameles. There is really no excuse for their price hikes while offering such mediocore pizza when all their local competitors offer better for the same price or cheaper. Cheech's is now a Skip and walk the extra five minutes elsewhere sadly. A message to the owner, This is los angeles, we have a pizza shop every other corner. Step up or your going to lose the locals. The only reason you have customers is because your in a prime location and have nostalgia factor. But that can only carry you so far.

This is quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever had. Don't get me wrong they get two stars for delivery of relatively hot pizza. The sauce is bland, one of my pizza had burnt crust and the crust all together was like it had not spent any time rising. With a price tag so low, I am hardly surprised. My advice, go to chain if you want affordably priced pizza that is half decent. This is not the place
