Went on a Saturday when they had a DJ and the ambiance was great! Drinks are well priced and strong. DJ was spinning good music all night and the doorman wasn't allowing the place to get too over crowded.

Good beers, great service and good, clean, no frills space. In fact it's a perfectly square room that's about 50% bar which is a solid ratio because that's where the drinks come from and you're sure to get one shortly after stepping foot inside. It's basic in the perfect way. Other than that, it gets pretty rowdy on weekends and for big games too. Sometimes they blow the AC too hard but that's better than the opposite. And they make up for any flaws with free peanuts.

Simple, small, and laid back place. I came here with family and the bartender and local were very friendly and welcoming. Prices for shots and beer was unbelievably reasonable for LA. Honestly worth the stop if you’re coming in just for a couple of drinks.

We drive from Beverly Hills to this dive in Echo Park just for micheladas that feel like home. Cocktails are to be skipped (overly sweet) but beers and shots are reasonably priced.

THE HUNT THE HUNT is an amazing spot if you’re looking for something unique. Michael, the owner, is super cool and very welcoming. So many beautiful pieces, plus he does upholstery too. A hidden gem!

A divey bar in Echo Park! They have Happy Hour Monday thru Friday from 6 to 9 pm. Pretty dimly lit with good music and bartender service was pretty good and friendly. It's a popular place before a Dodgers game or concert. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but if you're in the area bar hopping then it's a good one to add in.

It's a popular place before a Dodgers game or concert. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but if you're in the area bar hopping then it's a good one to add in.

Good old Gold Room, This place is not for everyone. After a long week of work and bs its always good to destress a little with some drinks and music. A lot of locals at this place.

They redid the gold room and ruined it. Trying to class the joint up ended up making it look cheap and tacky. No more shot and beer special, no more peanuts, no more TVs showing baseball, no more charming Mexican lady making tacos, just 7$ beers and expensive cocktails. When we asked about food, they told us Rico's across the street makes great tacos. Ok, can we bring them in (there's no food on the menu)? No, you may not. Sweet, we're going to Rico's and not coming back. The essay on the back of the menu (terribly written, single long paragraph) asks to "give it a chance" which feels a little like they know they've ruined the old gold room and everything you used to love about it. Success, gentrification screws up another charming local watering hole. Bring back the shot as beer specials and the tacos and I'll consider returning. Until then, don't waste your time with the updated gold room.

Very slow service, only few ppl work here, and are not even professionals. Dont even try getting a drink from the female bartender shes slow and gives off attitude. Also if you see a lot of guys with LA hats be prepared to be harassed by them, apparently they don't like people that are not from LA. And I am from LA and felt unwelcome. Girls are very conceited here. It's clearly just a waste of time to go here. I went just because i was invited, but I would never go back again. Drinks are a ripped off.

To be understood to keep around Happy Hour pricing under $20.00 and before/ thereafter depending but not to exceed $30.00 also cleanliness service and all other matters. It's been 2 years since I've been to this place. I come back after a dodger game, didn't drink or anything was just hungry and wanted to eat after a dodger game and all the 'apparent manager"/ owner was concerned about was my outfit. As a dodger fan, I feel like there's a routine people want their friends to experience as first timers. For, me it was the Gold Room, I wanted to take my girlfriend to experience LA's night life after a Dodger game. The owner was unreasonable after I had just passed security. Once my friends and I walked in and went to the bar for food and drinks. The "owner"/ "manager" instantly mentioned that I was cut off because I was sketchy and shaky. I was completely confused, I stood there and was checking myself cause I seriously didn't understand how I came off sketchy or shaky. Even my friends were confused. I felt like if there was something wrong with myself I would know. In addition, I would not have passed security to begin with of there was a problem. Yet, the manager felt other wise and refused to serve me food or drinks. It's not worth going to this location. Anticipate being criticized by your appearance after a dodger game. I was trying to comprehend why I was not being served after just walking into the bar and the appearent owner did not want to serve me or anyone associated with me. No, professionalism with management. Place was very dead. Management is unreasonable. Don't waste you time here.
