I Heart Mac & Cheese in Los Angeles is known for its customizable mac and cheese bowls and grilled cheese options. The Lobster Mac & Cheese and Short Rib Philly are highly praised. Some find the classic mac and cheese boring and wish for more cheese.

Definitely coming back for more cookies! 😄 My daughter and I had lunch yesterday, she went for the Classic Mac & Cheese, while I tried the best-selling Lobster Mac. It was absolutely amazing, and I just can’t get enough of it! Plus, for only $4.59, you can add a combo that includes a side item and a fountain drink, such a great deal! I’ll be back again, and next time, I’m bringing my friends. I’ve officially found my go-to spot!
Visiting Los Angeles for the first time, we took the @hoteljune concierge’s recommendation and stopped by I Heart Mac & Cheese to try their creamiest Lobster Mac & Cheese. We also ordered their famous Best of Both Worlds grilled cheese—absolute perfection! We loved it so much that we returned twice more, sampling different menu items until the day of our flight. One of the best highlights of our trip was indulging in true American comfort food!
The flatbread is absolutely delicious, so cheesy and spicy with the jalapeños I was able to add. This place has so much options that looks amazing. Along with the food the service was also amazing, very helpful staff and informative. If you love Mac and cheese you cannot go wrong with this spot!
I heart Mac and cheese is a wonderful and delicious addition to the community! They have incredible Mac and cheese poppers, they’re bite size and fried to perfection. We always get their grilled cheese sandwiches with their short rib Mac and cheese. This place is vegan friendly and has plenty of gluten free options. I typically call and order in, or just visit in person. One time someone else picked up my order, and they remade mine real quick, I appreciated how you made that a priority because I was running late to work. Nice welcoming interiors. They are new and still figuring things out so there could be some delays to orders. They always have a game on to watch. No alcoholic beverages sold here but it’s a great space that is open and clean.
On vacation went for lunch at I Heart Mac & Cheese Los Angeles it is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we walk in the welcoming team give us a tremendous service. We ordered the top 3 best selling items that includes the Lobster Mac & Cheese that I’m still dreaming about it’s creaminess & flavorful bowl, a true delight for my taste buds. Absolutely my favorite place.
What a delightful experience! Extensive menu, and the two young men working there guided us through our various options. I decided to go simple and try the classic mac. It did not disappoint! Even though they bake it, it didn’t dry out and the cheese did not separate or get gross and oily. The noodles were al dente which is definitely my preference. My friend got the vegan mac and I had a bite, it was tasty! Certainly has a slight coconut taste though. I’d encourage anyone to give this place a try!
My son wanted to have his birthday lunch at I Heart Mac & Cheese. It was our first time. This is a franchise location and the owner was very friendly and helpful. My husband ordered the short rib Philly mac & cheese with classic mac & cheese bacon jalapeño bites. The birthday boy had a build your own grilled cheese on Sourdough with white cheddar, yellow cheddar, mozzarella, muenster, and pepperoni, with classic mac& cheese bites, and tater tots. My younger son had build your own mac with pasta, cheese sauce, mojo pulled pork, white cheddar, Muenster, and bread crumbs. I had the classic mac and cheesy broccoli. The food was delicious. We were all happy. And, they serve Coke products. There are fountain and bottled options. Plus some kind of coffee machine. Parking in the structure behind the building was easy and free. Bonus, we happened to come in during happy hour (M-F 3-5), which my husband greatly appreciated and sealed the deal that we will be coming back. We saw that there were gluten-free and vegan options. Even options for making more of a protein bowl. I highly recommend you check this place out. Pictures show short rib Philly with bacon jalapeño bites (minus some that he gave to share), and the classic mac with cheesy broccoli. Sorry, I didn't get good pics of the others.
I absolutely love going here! The vibes and service are always consistent. I love the food and the manager/owner Imelda is always so kind and welcoming. The lobster Mac and cheese is my favorite! Thank you so much for your service and hospitality! Will defiantly go again!! 1000000/10
Wanted to give this place a try because it was similar to an place I loved here in LA that closed down. The gentleman over the phone was very nice and helped me get my order ready for pick up definitely helpful and curtious. This place did not disappoint the size portion was perfect for me. I got the best of both worlds and some tots. I will absolutely love to try more things here the flavor in the sandwich was on point. Would definitely recommend to give them a try if you love mac and cheese.
I had the chance to visit Imelda at her resto. Thank you for the sumptuous foodies that my hungry palate has eagerly consumed! 😁👍💕
Always looking forward whenever we visit I Heart Mac & Cheese in Los Angeles. We ordered their catering menu for a family party. Their Lobster Mac & Cheese was a hit at the party! Together with the Short Rib Philly those were the first to be finished. The kids enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwiches to go! Plus the spacious, cheerful, whimsical appeal inside the dining area coupled with the warm, friendly, always with a genuine smile of the host & owner, Imie, is kudos for another excellent cuisine experience!

I have not tried this restaurant yet. But yesterday I was walking by and the kind lady offered me a delicious fusion iced tea for free, no strings attached. The tea was delicious and the lady was nice, so I will be coming to visit to try to food next week when I'm back in town.

This place is nice. The combo feels like a bit much considering the price but the bowl is pretty solid for what I got. Did a build your own: pasta, cheese, broccoli, roasted red peppers, scallions mushrooms, red onions, short rib and topped it all off with white cheddar. Got it to go and it came in a little heart container 💚 awesome lol.

Pretty good. Not great, but pretty good. "Assembled" in front of you. Not a baked mac and cheese, individually items are combined to make your order. Pre-cooked pasta scooped into a heart ❤️ shaped container, then your melted cheese ladled on top. Whatever other items you ordered placed on top and then it is passed through a Subway sandwich type oven to warm it up. They have $7.99 lunch specials and combo meals that are more (my mac and cheese, broccoli 🥦 and cheese, and drink was around $16). Small interior dining area, one small bathroom, large, shared parking garage around back, limited street parking. Not gourmet food but was good 😋. Hope you find your favorite and...enjoy!
Their mac n cheese balls and cookies are amazing!!! They're so good, I would definitely return just for them. However, my only note is that I wish I got more cheese in my mac n CHEESE. If you prefer your mac n cheese cheesy, I'd recommend asking for extra cheese. I loved the lady who served us, she was sweet, warm, and welcoming.

When you walk-in the the location was clean. Imelda and Corey was the only ones to greet me. Prefect I was a new customer and was nervous about ordering at new location this make this easier. Upon look at the menu I had already know what I wanted before coming, I notice you can build your own bowl so I waited for a team member to call me next. The next team member name Z didn’t agree me with very much welcome he just stared at me. I sad hi no reply back so I moved on. I asks if I can get a bowl he made and confuse face which made me very nervous I felt as if I was really messing up and the menu felt very intimidating. She then proceeded to say huh and I repeat it again with a smile. Can I please order the bowl. I was still met with a confused look on his face so then I asked him I’m sorry I’m new can you teach me about the menu or show me how to order properly. Z then proceeded to give me a menu which I’ve already looked over. He did not take the time to explain how I ordered the ball or what steps I need to take. For a person like me who suffers from anxiety 😥 this wasn’t my day. I haven’t took the menu procrastinating if I should just leave the restaurant. So I asked again can you please explain how I can order an bowl. He then repeated what I asked is that OK you wanna bowl with a rude attitude I reply back yes please not knowing that he wasn’t the person to make my bowl. I start telling him what I wanted. He cuts me off. Tells me that another person will be making it. This would have been helpful at the beginning when I asked him, so how do I order? He lacked peopleskills and customer service. I understand it’s a new location and I understand that sometimes a team and takes time for them to get to know each other in Arthur workflows. It did take them two times to get my order right but I was very patient because I was really dying to try this new location for a while while waiting. The manager Imelda was very nice on explaining the menu and how to order. Corey was very nice on explain the delay very professional. And even getting my food out to me quick. Because of these 2 I will be come back they turned my experience around thank you 😊 The Mac bites 7/10 The custom bowl with lobster 8/10

We tried the classic mac and cheese, and unfortunately it was just boring. For a place that is known for mac and cheese, we expected something more exciting or memorable. Honestly, we could have made a better version at home. That said, the service was very friendly and pleasant.

DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. This place ought to be ashamed of themselves. I don’t even know how they’re in business, and I’m not joking nor am I aiming to be mean — I am so serious. The food here is disgusting. The Mac & Cheese tastes like it came from the frozen food aisle. I got the build your own Macaroni & Cheese with broccoli and chicken… literally three pieces of broccoli and virtually no chicken. The chicken I did find SWIMMING in water cheese SOUP was extremely thinly sliced. No way they grill the chicken in house. Then I got tater tots, which feels like a random side to have on the menu, and not only did they taste freezer burnt and like they were cooked in a microwave, there was zero salt or seasoning added. The concept of this place is great, but that’s all it’s good for — dreams and imagination. Box mac & cheese would be better than whatever they call this atrocity. They need to hire some real staff and chefs to help them figure out the recipe situation. I’d almost volunteer as tribute for free. You know what would really elevate the food? Not just a whole new recipe, because that goes without saying, but if they put the pasta in an aluminum container, got a small oven of some sort, layered cheese in the middle and a generous amount on the top, then put it in the oven for a few minutes. That would give an actual macaroni & cheese experience. As a matter of fact, Dear Owners of this establishment, please take a trip to Noodles & Company to see and TASTE how it’s done. Take notes and hit the drawing board if you want any chance of staying in business. Until then? Not another plate/bowl needs to be served to the public.

Idk how this place has 4.2 star by far the worst Mac n cheese I ever had. Poorly seasoned. Not flavorful and taste like it all came out of a box. The prices are high for how poor quality this food is. Anybody giving the food more than a 1 star is trynna cope with being robbed. Save your money people.
I ordered Mac bites and cheesy broccoli. Mac bites came with a cheese dip and served cold. Cheesy broccoli was not cheesy and just bland. No seasoning. Plain Plain Plain
