I’ve been coming to this doughnut shop for years, but I stopped going after a very negative interaction with one of the older employees. I decided to give the place another chance two years later, hoping things had changed. Unfortunately, I had almost the exact same experience with the same person. The older woman who works the counter has consistently been rude and dismissive in her tone, and her behavior has felt belittling and disrespectful both times I interacted with her. The way she spoke to me made me feel singled out and unwelcome, and it was uncomfortable enough that I won’t be returning again. It’s disappointing because I used to enjoy coming here, but after two separate visits years apart with the same treatment, I can’t support a place where customers aren’t treated with basic respect and courtesy.
