Amazing!!! Make sure to order spicy for your fried chicken! Lots of bang for your buck if you order the 12pc family meal. 2 large quarts of sides, a big box of cornbread. Chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Only paid 55$ with tax for all of what you see here!
The food looked just like in the photos and tasted delicious. Chief came to greet us and check to see if we liked the food and if anything else we need, very considerate.
Finally made it to the new location and we were blown away. We had frequented the old spot but just never made it to this new location. Atmosphere: Bright and Spacious completely inviting tenfold better then the old spot. We were greeted by a ray of sunshine, we felt the southern comfort the moment we stepped through the door. Food: We ordered both dishes Spicy (not really spicy just perfect and seasoned exactly as it should be) The food does take around 15 min as it is fried fresh while you wait. 3 Piece Dark Meat Fried Chicken & Mac & Cheese - crunchy juicy perfection, not overly crispy just the right amount of seasoning. Big pieces of chicken. Mac & Cheese was unique and smoky/sweet very good. 3 Piece White Meat Fried Chicken - Also perfectly fried, breast and wings were a knockout. The coleslaw was AMAZING, total throwback to the coleslaw made at the old PANTRY in LA for me. Sweeter than your average coleslaw but i couldn't stop eating it. Hush Puppies - MUST GET fried sweet and delicious Biscuits - soft and crunchy very good, eat these quickly along with everything else or they harden up. Menu had a ton of other louisiana staples we will be back. Sauce Tip: Add Crystal hot sauce & Maple syrup to everything! Drinks: Sweet Tea - delicious and you can sweeten it to your liking perfect recommendation Price: Very affordable for the amount of food you get, absolutely a deal Parking: They have a lot in the back with plenty of parking along with spots in the front of the restaurant Service: Awesome conversation and recommendations, made us feel like we right at home. Thank you for the amazing experience and delicious food
This latest edition of this not-so-hidden gem is, by all means, everything it needs to be. There is absolutely nothing different between the cuisine at this new location and the original. Thank you. The differences come with first, its location, a more centralized establishment in order to be closer to some, and in the area to those who may have been just out of reach. This location is also a bit quieter, but just as friendly. Spacious, but just as comfortable. And brighter but in exactly the right way. I finally had a chance to try their brunch, and while I will say that I'm not surprised our meals were spectacular, I will say that these new additions are special. I would have been wrong to think that chicken and waffles couldn't get much better. Cajun style, with spices and flavors reminiscent to the Bayou, with a crunchy but soft centered waffle, are what I'm still savoring hours after my meal. I'm also not shy to admit I've been here two days in a row. These are, and I write this with all my heart, my favorite restaurants in the valley. Yes both.
A gift to Chatsworth that continues to give. The Black, Cajun, Creole New Orleans food that survives in this darling family-run business deserves your patronage! Go there and learn why Chatsworth's authentic bit of New Orleans cuisine survives. Great Owners, Great food, Great experience.
Les sister’s is the home cooked meal you’ve always wanted. Their buttermilk pie is to die for and the best buttermilk pie out there. In fact, we had it as our wedding dessert back in June of this year, and it was the talk of the wedding! Everyone at the wedding loved it and wanted to know where they came from. Staff was very helpful with the whole process. Thank you Les Sisters for the memories!
New store delicious food. Shrimp n grits are bomb fabulous ! Son loves the catfish and greens. Smothered chicken huge pieces and kickin gravy Jessica serves up the best
I attended Les Sisters last day of the smaller location and I am thrilled to say their 2nd larger location is the spot to support. More room for people to eat, enjoy, support and return with family, friends or co-workers. Don’t forget they do have takeout. Yummy food for your tummy.
Jessica the owner is the best! Food is consistently great. Best Jambalaya in the Valley. The smothered chicken is a must have and if you like Oysters, their Fried Oysters are so much better than fancy seafood places.
The food taste like somebody "mama" made it .... So thank you mama !! I didn't expect this after searching "soul food near me" .... Gawd musta sent me there. So flavorful.. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was great from the "fruit punch kool-aid" to the "crayfish etouffee" - All was awesome 😋

I love this place! The staff and owner are amazing. I was displaced from the fires, I ordered a meal for me and my daughter to share because we had to sleep in the car because the hotels were booked. The owner gave us our meal for free, I was at a lost for words and could only cry. Thank you Les Sister's for showing me, human kindness still exists. I will forever support you🙏💞💞
FAMILY 5 PACK could have easily served 10 people. The Cajun chicken was amazing. Planning on ordering the peach cobbler and bread pudding for the holidays. Looking forward to your new locations soon.
Everything on the menu sounded so good, it was tough to make a decision! I ordered the catfish & hush puppies with some corn muffins, BBQ beans, and Mac n cheese. Not a single food item missed the mark. The catfish in particular was crispy and delicious. No dish was left unseasoned. I will be back!
Easily the best fried chicken I have ever had. Traditional and crave worthy southern food. Great family restaurant with multiple generations. Low-key place. You go for the amazing food and the wonderful people.
I did have some special requests that I added to notes when ordering online but they were missed. Not sure how the see it so I won’t be upset with them as the food and service are excellent.

Long time customer. Great service, Excellent food as always. Po boys have gotten smaller. Still the best Louisiana soulfood in the 818. Everything on the menu is delicious.

Fried chicken, greens, mac and cheese, gumbo = best I’ve had anywhere. I’ve eaten all over the USA and nothing compares. So grateful I live within driving distance of Les Sisters. Plus, the sisters are so nice and parking is really easy. No excuses. Get there!
Chicken was deliciously flavored and crispy. Meat was juicy and soo good! I ordered side of fried shrimp and they were delicious as well. Man n cheese was cheesy good with a little tangy taste to eat. I also ordered peach cobbler. Which I was really looking forward to trying. I was sadly disappointed on the amount I recieved. Which was not much. The cobbler was good though.
Southern Soul, Creole and Cajun food in the SFV!! There’s no frills to this restaurant but you can tell that some good old home cooking is done here. It was my first time here so I was a little unsure what to order. We ended up ordering the Crawfish Etouffe with Collard Greens and the Smothered Pork Chops with Potato Salad and Sweet Yams. Everything tasted very yummy, with that home cooked taste. The sweet yams and collard greens were our favorite sides. The pork chops were perfectly cooked and smothered with a tasty gravy. I can see why the Crawfish Etouffe is a customer favorite. It wasn’t too busy when we got there. Some tables filled up but it seemed like they got a lot of Uber Eats or DoorDash orders. There was a little wait for our food. I found out online that they have Beignets on Sundays!! Can’t wait to try them!
Family and I came for great-nieces graduation from University of Northridge and had a taste for Soul Food, Googled and came across this spot. Parking was limited as the lot is shared with several other businesses. Entering the restaurant we were greeted immediately and the atmosphere was comfortable, nice music playing, clean, and bright as the setting is casual. There was only one other customer on a Saturday afternoon which had me wondering “why”, but the family decided we would remain and give it a try and Les Sisters’ didn’t disappoint. I ordered the cup of Gumbo. And why just the cup you may ask? After reading the ingredients and see as they included “fish” in their gumbo which was different from my families various recipes (cause some like to put their own personal touch or spin) I was a bit leery, but I really wanted Gumbo so I went for it. The Gumbo rue was delicious and we all know the rue must be on point. The sausages, shrimp and crab were delicious and plentiful. The fish (catfish) was surprisingly good, but I prefer Gumbo without fish. I also had the Fried Wing Dinner (spicy) with Red Beans and Rice. DELICIOUS! The chicken was fried to perfection, juicy and crispy. Came piping hot and flavorful! On the Red Beans and Rice didn’t disappoint. Beans were tender and rice was fluffy. Customer Service was great! Pat, or Mama Pat was a delight. We had a party of 12 and a baby and she along with her “side kick” (forgot her name) was on point. Orders were correct, we didn’t have to ask for anything additional. Hot Sauce, Hot Peppers, Beverages, Napkins, Utensils, even high chair for the baby was taken care of without ask. They inquired about what was the occasion that brought in the group, and in the great spirit of true customer service provided the family with complimentary dessert. The Bread Pudding IS TO DIE 4! A MUST HAVE! I will be returning when I visit the area again. Thank you Les Sisters’ and Pat! Keep doing what you’re doing

Not 100% soul food recipes, greens were very bland and mac/cheese seemed store bought, definitely not “real” soul food mac!!!! Smothered chicken is great, yams great, black eyed peas were great. corn bread- dry. They have the back door ajar, you can see the owner and one hispanic lady cooking/prepping- kinda awkward. May try it once, to patronize black businesses in the valley.
I was very disappointed at the quality of service and the food. I ordered from the menu "smothered pork chops" thinking I'm getting 2 for 16.95 and a side dish. First off it took about 10 min just to take my order then another 25 min to bring the food, which consisted of only 1 pork chop and a side of garlic mashed potatoes and gravy. The (single) chop was just ok, but the small portion of mashed potatoes had a huge chunk of unmashed whole potato (it's on the left in the picture ) and the actual mashed potatoes were runny and bleh. Very disappointing . . .

Okay y’all here I am. Back with another view. All ima say is. My stomach hurt and it’s between the Mac & cheese 🧀 or the tad water Yams. 🍠. And yes I said it right. “Tad Water Yams” cause that’s exactly what they taste like they was submerged in. At this point, I feel a lot of these restaurants don’t taste they own food, they just cook it and say here. 😂. Because there’s no way they’re calling this soul food. Honestly. I should have known cause it was very empty. And clean to. Chairs were all in place. You can tell it’s not a place people visit often. And hell I’m not surprised. The Mac & cheese was okay But. I don’t know. Something was off. I couldn’t continue eating it. The yams. They had potential but that after taste ?? My body cringed. 😬 the rice had absolutely no flavor. The gumbo was actually okay though. I just don’t like that they put swai fish in it. Like who told y’all that was okay. 😂🙄. & who idea was it to put corn in the cornbread ? It was good but not the hard dried up corn pieces in there. You can tell It wasn’t fresh. That’s probably why she gave it to me for free. The koolaid was fire tho. The old lady can get down with the koolaid.
