I pre-ordered just had to wait 2 min or so more once I got there. Cristian was awesome great customer service. Great popusas the best in the valley.

We traveled to LA and stayed a little over a week and before we left I realized we didn’t have any pupusas this time and couldn’t believe it, my family ate at las Fuentes which is another fave of mine but we had already ate there a few days before and told my cousin I wanted pupusas before our flight. I’m soooo happy she recommended Mis Raices, she did tell me bc we were in a rush to place the order ahead. Called and ordered 5 revueltas to share between 3 people and we were not disappointed!!! So Delish!!! Can’t wait for a next trip back! All of my family go here and I can see why, amazing food great service, love them!

I only have used their pupusas. They have some of the best pupusas I've had. My favorites are spinach and cheese and loroloco and cheese. Their freshly made pupusas are amazing, my whole family loves them. They have nice selection, their shrimp pupusa was a add on which I enjoyed a lot also. They have great service and great pupusas.

Authentic, delicious Salvadorian food at a great price. If you're in the area this is the place to go

Solid pupusas. They have daily special for each day of the week and local Salvadorians make up most of their business. Do the math. IG: kay_okay_eat

Service here is great they speak both English and Spanish. The pupusas are made per order and literally everything I tried (even the tamales) were bomb. I usually don't like the tamales or any other plates from Salvador (I am mexican) but it was all tasty and full of flavor. Definitely recommend.!

Little hole in the wall, if you blink you'll miss it driving by, but don't do that, coz it's one of the best Salvadoran food places around. Granted I'm not Hispanic, and I've only tried their pupusas. But they are outstanding! I go there just for that. Very reasonable, very fresh, everything made to order. If purposes are your thing (or the other stuff they serve which I'm sure is equally delish), run, don't walk. They don't get any better than this!

I’ve had their pupusas, panes con pollo, their tortas and típico breakfast and honestly it’s THE BEST. The people who work here are very nice and attentive as well. I’m always going to come back to Mis Raíces.

The owners and workers are awesome. The food is authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. My personal favorite drink is their Mango licuado/shake/smootie

It's a really unassuming hole in the wall with authentic well cooked made to order food. I love it. Craving Pupusas that aren't all masa come here on Tuesdays for the deal.

It is a small place. It is very clean. Cashiers are very polite and friendly. Food was fresh, proper temperature and delicious. It felt like I was buying food from an actual restaurant in my country El Salvador. A+

The food is delicious here. They have been one of my favorite spots for a long time. Everything on the menu is great tasting. Service is excellent.

Best pupusas, nice and filling, you honestly get filled with 1 but 2 will do. Try them out, fast and friend. They speak Spanish and English try them out for take out.

M

They make take long ,but for me there good i make a call and when im there is ready, the only thing i have a problem the give you so little currtido even when you get 12 pupusas or if you get 5. Would like then that at tge kitchen they would cover there Hair, the guy answering the phone was nicer and that they would separate my food and not mix my food. Small things like any other restaurant i like there specials.

Huevos rancheros, huevos picados, pupusas, tamales, ceviche, pollo guisado, coffee were all delicious that I forgot to take pictures. First time here and I can say authentic Salvadorian food. Highly recommend.

We visited Mis Raíces Restaurant, and even though we are not Salvadorian, we were truly impressed by the way they run this place. From the moment we walked in, the owner made us feel right at home. The restaurant has that comforting “home” feeling — the food is homemade, fresh, and full of the flavors that remind you of a grandmother’s kitchen. They went above and beyond, even offering us tastes of different dishes so we could experience more of their cuisine. Their menu is extensive, and we will definitely be coming back to continue exploring it. Thank you for the wonderful service. Highly recommended!

If you’re craving authentic Salvadorian cuisine, Mis Raices is an absolute must-try! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of homemade flavors makes it clear this place takes its food seriously. The menu is packed with delicious options — but the pupusas are the real star. They’re made fresh to order with just the right balance of masa and savory fillings like revuelta (beans, cheese, and chicharrón) or cheese with loroco, and they come with perfectly tangy curtido and salsa that elevate every bite. Food is made fresh and you can hear the ladies making the pupusas. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. While the restaurant is cozy (and can get busy at peak times), the food and overall experience more than make up for it. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions you get.

Excellent restaurant. Accurate Salvadoran flavor. I highly recommend stopping by and eating some pupusas with horchata!

I went there with a friend on a Tuesday to try their Tuesday specials for less than 2$ each. I ordered 2 for to go and a small order of Horchatta. Had them to go and they were sooo good. I mean not yet the best but God they were soooo good. Same with their Horchata. This is a place I would recommend if you need your Salvadoran fix. I only went there for pupusas but I saw a lot more in their menu and they were mouthwatering. I will definitely be back.

Ok Lets start by saying my favorite food is Pupusas, I grew up eating this amazing things and I usually don’t like the Pupusas from random places because they are not authentic, they can either be too greasy, or don’t have enough filling, etc…. Well this place has the best Pupusas, best pan con pollo, etc and all at resonable prices. We ordered 4 Pupusas and a pan for less than $20. The lady was nice when I placed my order and told me food would be ready in 15 mins. The food was authentic and sooo tasty. Place was clean and there seemed to be a good interaction between employees. We will definitely be back.

This place is the bomb! I can't get over how good their pupusas are and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. We like it so much we came here two days in a row.

This is authentic food from El Salvador. There are other similar restaurants in Reseda, but this one is by far the best. They have various specials throughout the week, but their prices are reasonable everyday. They provide plenty of salsa and curtido with each order. During the current pandemic you can call them to place orders. They give you an approximate time that your order will be ready but usually it is ready sooner and they call to let you know that. Great customer service!

I have no idea how they only have 4.3 stars because this place is amazing! I’ve ordered from this place more times than I can count (at work and at home) and it’s always consistently phenomenal! Even if you aren’t a fan of pupusas, try these ones. They are just THAT good! 5/5 stars

Pupusas are authentic & extremely good! The only improvement that can be made is the wait time. There have been times I’ve ordered only a few items and have waited over an hour. I understand it’s busy, but there needs to me a more efficient way to have the orders out quicker.

The pupusas were delicious. They were the perfect thickness; there was plenty of filing, and the masa was not too thick. Cooked to perfection, they were not greasy at all. We enjoyed a nice selection of the different types offered. Our party included a Salvadoran who knows his pupusas. We also ordered a plate of rice, beans, and fried plantains. They were wonderful. We definitely will be going back. The staff were courteous and very helpful. Everything was clean and tidy inside of the restaurant.

Pupusas are delicious. They melt in your mouth and they come with plenty of tomato sauce and curtido(pickled cabbage and carrots). The pan con pollo was pretty good as well. Service is quick and friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

Love this place for the pupusas! I’ve tried the revueltas, cheese, cheese& loroco, and bean& cheese and they’re all so so good! The pupusas are a good size but to me $2.70ea is a little too much :o Best to buy during the Tuesday and Wednesday deals! (certain flavors cost $1and change). The staff is always so kind and welcoming and I love when you order over the phone because they call you letting you know your order is ready :) They accept the usual credit cards and even have Apple Pay:) they also have some sort of rewards program (first time I signed up I got a free beverage ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

We got 11 pupusas today and they were great! We tried the chicharones+cheese, chicken and cheese, Loroco and cheese and regular cheese. We also got the Yucca dish. Everything was very flavorful and we especially liked the Loroco and will definitely order than again!!

Great Salvadorian food, the pupusas were delicious, freshly made and well sized. You can order ahead and they'll call you when it's ready. The staff is very friendly, though they primarily speak Spanish. I would definitely recommend this place when you're looking for a delicious and affordable bite.

Food is good, rice pupusas are $5.00 so be aware. Platanos plate doesn't serve enough beans for the amount charged.

My first time here, and as always my honest review, ONE STAR for the lack of Customer service. Very rude P.S they did not give me what I order. ONE START it is the first time that I taste “tomato salsa” watering to pass as a “salsa” the salsa for the pupusas are made from real tomatoes FIVE START to the pupusas they are very good. But you need to balance to spend your money with good pupusas and bad customer service.

Pupusas are really good here...parking may be an issue sometimes. FOOD: 10 PLACE: 9 PRICES: 9 SERVICE: needs to improve. Our server lacks "people skills". Solid 3 stars, and thats really good!

K
Karina Perez

They get two stars and is only because the waiter was very nice otherwise they get 0 🌟 reason being that my plate carne guisada and the beans were very salty. They didn't bring all the tortillas and i had to asked for the other portion for my husband's plate. They did it to other tables next to me. The beans were also very salty.for my husband plate. The price is expensive for the small portions they give.

Pupusas were very oily. The restaurant inside is not that appealing. It actually feels crowded inside because the restaurant is small. I have definitely tried better.

I like this place customer service, however I want to make a comment regarding the Salvadorean tamales, the first time I bought some they were delicious, second time they were okay, today they were not good at all. I think the owner should have the same person doing the tamales so they could taste the same.

Slowest service here. I ordered pick up on DoorDash an hour ago thinking it would be quick but no. There’s like 5 people in the kitchen. An hour later I am still waiting for my order. Not coming here again.

Amira Parise

They don't stay open till they say they are. I definitely recommend calling first and asking them specifically when they close because i had a conversation with a man over the phone about the pupusas and which ones they have and 9f they had this particular kind.and he never told me they were closing 2 hours early tonight so we drive an hour over there with an hour to spare and they are closed. Just double check because they won't tell you.

B

It was horrible. Worst place to buy pupusas. They said to wait 15 min but took more than half an hour. And I noticed that the guy was flirting with a lady, took her order after us,and gave HER food before US. The guy looked annoyed and was very rude, no manners, and no respect. I recommend going somewhere else for Salvadorian food.

S
Sylvia Noriega

I called to order my food and the fat guy was nasty rude, kept hanging the phone when trying to order. He has an attitude, has no manners at all. One day while waiting, i noticed that the women making the food kept touching their body and do not wash their hands. Yuck!

before it was a good restaurant until today. I waited about 1 hour for a plate of roast beef and some extra things they charged me for and when I got home the complete order was not there. I called and they told me to come back and that in less than 10 minutes I would be ready and I waited for more than 20 minutes and they didn't give me anything so it could be said that they scammed me. From now on, I do not recommend it to anyone. Terrible service.
