Their house old-fashioned, which only costs $12.00, is amazing. The well bourbon is 1792, which is phenomenal. Their mezcal menu is impressive and they make incredible dirty martinis (my personal favorite). Despite very affordable prices, the bartenders here know what they are doing. I came here at 7:30pm on a Saturday, hoping for a decent old fashioned or mezcal, and stayed until 10 pm because of the amazing drinks.

Hands down my favorite bar. We discovered this bar while working on the Fox Studio Lot and have become regulars ever since. The Mozzatini is to DIE FOR. And the bartenders are just so nice. This bar doesn’t have the pretentious feeling most bars have in Los Angeles. I will continue to be a regular for as long as it stays this way. But really, try the Mozzatini. Its so so good.

The perfect replacement for the previous establishment (Liquid Kitty). A serious whiskey and bourbon selection with an owner and operator and staff that all appreciate and understand the drinks they are pouring. Never had a bad recommendation from anyone behind the bar and always a smile and good energy whenever I visit. Easily one of my favorite bars and so happy that they're reopening with the covid numbers declining.

First visit was pretty great: met the bartender Saoul, who was great, and the drinks and music on a Wednesday evening were the perfect vibes for laid-back, no pressure conversations. The drinks on the menu were decent, but the best drink I had was something the bartender had experimented with, as the variety of spirits at neat. is quite spectacular. I will be visiting again and would highly recommend asking for suggestions rather than just ordering of the house cocktail list.

Walked in hoping to gets some drinks and play guitar hero but ended up regretting coming at all. We walked in to a nice calm environment, which was nice. We were looking for the bouncer so they can check our ID’s. But no bouncer was around, so we decided to get some menus and sit down to decide on what to get. My friends already knew what they wanted so they went to the bar and were greeted by a rude bartender. I don’t know if there was a rush or something but he was irritated. The way he handled himself with our group made us rethink even staying. It was my first time coming here and it will be my last time here. Also be warned it smells like the pirate of Caribbean ride or the jurassic ride.

Finally had a chance to visit neat. We hoped it would be the replacement for our old Brooklyn speakeasy Blueprint, but neat came up short. Cocktails were quite good and bartenders quite competent. But not having table service was a big downer - you’ve gotta make your way through the people at the bar ti shout out your order and wait for a long while for your drinks. Does not make for a cozy date. Or you can go back to your table and keep and eye out and they’ll wave to you when you can come pick up your drinks. That’s not the service I’m expecting for a place with premium drinks and corresponding prices. I don’t want to have to find someone to ask that a table be cleaned off so we can sit down. The decor is halfway to a cozy, romantic cocktail bar. Close but not quite. And the music volume is set to “raucous party”, not “tantalizing conversation”. Might be back for a drink sometime but it’s not our new local hangout. The faux dive bar look and atmosphere is great, the cocktails look and taste amazing, but the staff is too forward and made me and my group of girlfriends uncomfortable, and totally ruined it for us. It’s a shame. We wanted to like this place.
