Our waiter chase was a really awesome guy! The food was excellent and cooked to perfection! Haven’t had a bad time going to Chili’s in Stephenville and the people are always awesome!

The egg rolls are excellent but not your normal egg rolls so ask . I think they're called Santa Fe egg rolls but very delicious. I usually get the ribs ( dry rub ) , honey Chipotle chicken strips and sometimes the jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage with fries and street corn .

Last week I was driving through stephenville when all of a sudden I noticed I had gotten a flat tire, upon quickly pulling over and into chillis parking lot I noticed the time and figured I may aswell go inside and get myself some lunch! After promptly being sat in Ava’s section not only did she make me an amazing margarita but she also came out and changed my tire for me so when I was done with my quesadillas I could get back on down the road!

Stephenville Chili's consistently serves good food for a good value. The server was friendly, helpful, prompt and attentive. I don't pay alot of attention to the atmosphere, but I do appreciate being able to watch sports from just about anywhere in the restaurant.

The Manager took me to my table, saw it was dirty, and cleaned it. He did not designate someone else to do it! Your awesome! My food was delicious, cooked perfect. My server (Contesa) was awesome! She was attentive (even though she had a big table), courteous, and a joy to be around. Thank you Chilis!

Wasn't too busy for lunch time. Waiter was quick. Took my order, and they had it out to me in a reasonable time. Checked on me 3-4 times to make sure I was good. And the burger was great. Enjoyed the experience.

We had Sarah as our server at dinner tonight and we couldn’t have asked for better service! She answered any questions we had about the menu and took the time to check in on more than most. She made us feel so taken care of 10/10 will be back.

Absolutely loved the fine food and great service! I was looking for some place with a menu variety and decided on Chili's. It was a number one decision. My significant other and I both chose the six ounce sirloin with the steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. We both had house salads while we waited for our dinner. While we ate, we both talked about how good everything was. The salads were fresh, steaks were cooked to perfection, and the side broccoli and mashed potatoes were very tasty. The service was also excellent. We weren't thrilled with our initial seating and asked to be seated somewhere else. With a smile on his face, our host immediately seated us at our desired location. Additionally, our server was friendly and attentive. We had a great experience and will be back again to recreate that experience.

Haven't been to Chili's in years so I was surprised to find that their fajitas were a good option for my low carb diet.

We went in for a celebration and while the food is usually always good, one of our entrée's came out quite bad, so bad that the person couldn't eat it. However the bad review ends here. Our server alerted the manager who apologized, took it off the tab and even went ahead and paid for our dessert! Definitely returning soon!

We went to chili's today, Thursday Feb 13 2020 shortly after 11. We were hesitant because of the low rating. We had a great experience. Tiffany was our waitress, we were seated promptly, the restaurant was very clean, we were brought our drinks within a few minutes of ordering. We had the baby back ribs and house salad, which she was happy to substitute for fries and coleslaw. The food was brought promptly and the ribs were served hot. Paid at the Kiosk without incident...we are definitely will return soon.

Food was great. Great service and very helpful and attentive bus boy named Jason when I asked him about certain things on the menu when our server was attending to other tables in an orderly fashion.

Chili's is great. Like all restaurants they have their off times but normally they are pretty good. Tonight was one of their better nights. The food, drinks and service was all amazing. The deep eddy strawberry margarita is awesome. Great for people who like sweet and sour but not too much of either. I also had the spicy shrimp tacos. Again, served hot and spicy but not too much. It was a great meal and our server was awesome as well.

The staff here is wonderful! There was an issue with the food that I ordered so I had to wait a little for them to make it again. When we asked for the bill for our table the waitress told us it had been taken care of. That's what I call great customer service! The food was great!

One of the best run Chili’s I’ve ever experienced. Went there after a Tarleton Football game and it was packed. Was prepared for an uneven or lengthy visit, but received quite the opposite. Everyone I saw working there - and I mean everyone - was positive, cheerful, having a good time with their guests - and Team-working. 3 different people touched my table at some point, either running food, getting beverage refills or just checking on us. Go There. You will see what the folks at Brinker International had in mind for providing a great Casual Dining experience.

So I decided to head out for a night on the town and stopped at this place after seeing the reviews. I was lucky enough to be in Ava section. She was absolutely amazing the drinks 🍸 were to die for and the service was out of this world. I will only ever eat here and only in her section.

April 20, 2025 We had take out Old Fashioned Burgers for Easter dinner today. They are favorites: a huge juicy hamburger with onion, lettuce, pickles, tomato, and mustard! We chose different sides and shared seasoned fries and asparagus. For dessert we usually choose the cheesecak with strawberry sauce, but it was not available, so we chose the chocolate molten cake with caramel and chocolate sauces over vanilla ice cream! I used the online ordering system that is easy to use. It gives choices for pick-up or delivery and time options. We chose pick-up and our order was ready as soon as we arrived. The online order system allows for adding a suggested or custom tip and a possibility of rounding up your total by donating the difference to a whole dollar to charity. Payment through the online system saves time when picking up the order. The food is always excellent! The hamburger was just off the grill, the fries were crispy, and the asparagus was firm and not over cooked! The chocolate cake was large, generous, and delicious! A wonderful take out lunch! ____ ____ _____ ____. ____. ______ This review was from a couple ofyears ago: Great food! Always Great service! Chili's adheres to the COVID safety space requirements between tables and customers. Cleanliness and sanitation is obvious. The food is always excellent. The Honey-chipolte ribs were exceptional! The sirloin 6 oz. steak was great, tender and moist!! This time the reward was the chocolate molten cake for our free dessert. Always generous and always wonderful! We often do the "$25 for two" meal. It has salads or appetizers, entrees, and cheesecake or just-baked chocolate chip cookie with ice cream for dessert. Delicious! The servers always show courtesy and kindness. They are always attentive and very responsive to requests. The take-out desk is always very busy and the attendants are quick, careful, and kind. Great place for family night as well as a night out with friends! Try the Avocado dressing with the appetizer combo and a shot of tequila if you want to have a pleasant lunch with a family member you don’t care about seeing but you feel obligated to ! It was really crowded, but we got a table fairly quick. Was very clean. I told the waitress it was my brothers Birthday but it was very busy and she must have forgotten, which i couldn't blame her she was busy, the food was delicious. We got the Bacon Burger and the Crispy Chicken strips, they were both good! At the end of the meal i went to the back and told another waitress that it was my brothers Birthday, after that the waitress we had Apologized for the wait and sang to him!

We ate dinner at this location. Food and service were good. They had lots of customers, but we didn’t wait long to get our food.

Went to chili's for a work get together and it was actually a very pleasant experience. Drinks were made well, appetizers were delicious and I loved my entree (which was the margarita chicken) and there was actually such a good portion of it that I filled up and was able to bring the rest home to my boyfriend to eat.

Its always been hit or miss here. Haven't been in almost 2 yrs but decided to try again. The food came out quickly and was really good. Very clean. Our waitress wasn't very friendly but after a bit, she warmed up to us. I recommend on giving it a try.

We had dessert here and some drinks. My friend's salad was good. We enjoyed the chocolate cake. We had to hunt down the server to pay. I blame that on our having an uncommon purchasing pattern. We got tea and dessert and then ordered the salad. The restaurant was clean. Everyone seemed to be having a good time there. We sure did.

Food was good but the salsa chips were greasy and to be honest uneatable. I have always had a wonderful meal and the service was awesome. I think that the salsa chips I had was the bottom of a batch. I tried another batch but the same problem with the chips.I shouldn't have to ask for new chips. I will eat at Chili's Grill & Bar but if I get bad chips I will ask the waiter to bring me another batch until I get chips that are eatable. Thank you for letting me give you feedback. The rest of my visit at lunch was as always another Chili's Grill and Bar fabulous meal's.

It's was pretty good. The saltsa was way too saltsy. The brisket quesadilla had more bbq sauce than brisket. It shouldn't even have bbq sauce on it imo. But the ancho sauce is bomb. I got that on the side. I recommend getting the brisket quesadilla without bbq sauce and ask for extra brisket and a side of ancho sauce.

Food is always the same, a bit of a mystery what you are actually eating. But when they don't have their signature dish, it is a bit of a letdown. I enjoyed the company more than the food, it was there like the decorations on the wall and mostly not notable.

We went here for my daughters birthday. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. Nobody complained about any of the dishes and we had six in our party. One good thing about Chilli you know what to expect. Most people can find something on the menu they like. The place was clean and fresh.

The waitress was very attentive and quick to get refills. The chips and salsa were very good and not stale like the other chilies restaurants I have been to lately so that was great. I ordered a medium rare sirloin with fries. The steak was cooked amazingly, and it tasted great, the fries were pretty good as well. (Flash into the past) 1 year ago (I went to this location last year with some friends when one of the waiters was very rude and aggressive with us. He wouldn’t refill our drinks or get us anything without us asking, and when we asked he gave attitude and wouldn’t come back for a while. We would then ask again when he comes back to the point we got up and asked another person for our stuff. Our waiter was rude and threw our to go boxes and other things on the table without a care for where they landed. It was one of the worst experiences we had in a restaurant.)

First time eating Chili's. I did takeout and had the Cajun chicken pasta. It was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed it. Glad there's one located near me.

When asked questions about menu items, appetizers and alcoholic beverages, our waitress answered Every time, “I don’t think so, but I’m not sure”. Literally Every time. The manager was Awesome though and he ended up taking care of our table. We didn’t care for their current menu and read the fine print about their $5 margarita. At the table, there’s a picture of a few margaritas and below it there’s the $5 ad. None of the margaritas in the picture are $5 this month, which is stated in the fine print.

This place has really hone downhill over the years. If its not the incompetence of the hostess/waitstaff then its the kitchen. For the past year, every single time I order there has been something wrong with my food. From completely the wrong order to found something disgusting/dangerous in it. Not only that, but the quality of ingredients has gone from great quality to just about bottom of the line. Today I ordered a Grilled Chicken Caesar salad with ranch dressing instead of Caesar dressing. Upon receiving my salad it had likely been sitting under a heat lamp is the only reason I could possibly explain why the salad was like boiled spinach. But in addition it had pico de gallo and corn on it. The waitress asked if I would like my chicken on the side and I had said yes. This was not something that I asked for. This was something that she suggested offering to do for my place. The chicken of course came on top of the salad. I didn't want to pull a Karen so I started eating the salad even though it was very mushy and limp which is not very appetizing if you enjoy your salad. Which salad is one of my most favorite meals. But then I discovered the pico de gallo which was not a great combination. First of all, I don't have any allergies to pico de gallo or anything like that or anything in it. However something I truly do not like is onions. I do not like them at all. I'm 40 years old, I thought over the years that my taste would change, they have not. So I asked the waitress when she came back by if the salad was supposed to come with pico de gallo. And she said no it's not. She apologized and took the plate and said that she would be right back with the correct salad. I told her not to worry about it and just bring me a house salad in place of the chicken Caesar salad with ranch instead of Caesar. She said not a problem. She brought me the house salad and of course removed my prior meal and didn't charge me for the house salad. Which was nice. The only saving grace with this Chili's is the management skills in customer service. I would not say that their management skills that make this place good at running the restaurant. But I would say Management's ability to make up for their errors is beyond reproach. So if there's something that you just cannot get anywhere else but at Chili's. For my son that is the chocolate molten cake. So we have to go there when he is just really wanting one. But I definitely would not ever suggest getting the boneless buffalo wings. Their chicken quality is very poor. Very full of tendons and cartilage and fat. I'm extremely picky when it comes to chicken yes. But this was just absolutely awful. I've tried ordering it many times over the past several years and it is nothing like it was whenever I worked there in my twenties. Management has gone downhill as well as the employees. Has a lot to do with shallow leadership and ill-prepared management. This is my take on Chili's as of August 2020

Like the location and staff. Had a 6oz steak and it might have been 4oz at the most. Food came out cold. Prices going up and portions are shrinking. Tap beer is also expensive.

We got seated at a dirty table and I got old ketchup all over my jacket. They did bring out a wash cloth and cleaned it but that was it. It was a decent experience.

It's Chili's. The food is okay. The service is hit or miss. You never have the same staff member. One person takes your order, a different one takes your order, another brings your food, yet another brings the rest of your food since they can't ever finish it all together, and then someone else brings your ticket since inevitably the original server had to go home). That makes tipping a hassle because I'm NOT keen on tipping each one of them, and what if one or more sucked?. That's just silly. The kids' menu is grossly lacking and poor quality. The Mac and cheese is LITERALLY Kraft out of a box. So somehow a $.50 box of mac and cheese is now $8.00? Christ, at least make it Stouffer's! And the atmosphere is your typical chain restaurant feel.

Bought 3 burgers on line for take out. Could not choose the temp for the meat. All 3 burgers were over cooked. They were crisp on the edges and cooked all the way through. No pink. And I like a juicy burger not dry like this was. But - the fries were good.

I ordered a drink and it was horrible. Margaritas are so acidic . Ten bucks for a bad drink. I wanted a simple superdeedooper tasting pina colada with coconut rum and coconut liqueur. No can do at this bar. Food was good but it is becoming more like a fast food joint. The cheese bites were salty. A salt lick would have been less salty tasting..I'm guessing. Super greasy too. I think employees are rude. Masks are required but common courtesy isn't. I would go back if it was a different place with a new menu and great drinks. . I can't recommend this place at this time unless you want to go out and blow money for subpar food and margaritas that might melt off your porcelain veneers. 🙄💸🤯

They have changed the menu, and a big change. Less food for more money. Food isn't the same, service isn't the same, and would be surprised if management was the same. Be a long time before I go back. Just really disappointed last couple of times I've been there. And was one of my past favorite places to eat.

Just moved to Stephenville from DFW, and was hoping the Chili’s would be to par with the ones I’ve visited over the years. Sadly it wasn’t. The first time we visited, my husbands chicken was very undercooked, we didn’t complain and just sent the food back. I finally convinced him to go back because I was craving honey chipotle chicken crispers, so we did a takeout order and picked it up. It was supposed to be ready at 7:48 so we got there at that time, and didn’t get the food until 8:05. It was cold, thrown together, and missing sides. So I’m pretty sure it was just sitting out while we were waiting. Go to cotton patch instead.

We were brought dirty dishes twice. We said something the first time but gave up the second time. Hair was in my food. They replaced it. The waitress was okay. Probably won't be back anytime soon.

Was a great time with friends. Besides the girl spilling all of our food except one plate. Everything else was a goner. I felt bad for the girl. But you should know how gravity works and if there is more on one side it will tilt. And brocolli and pasta flew.at my husband didn't land on him because he jumped in my lap. Besides that we had a great time. Glad the manager made it right with our food and drinks. Each couple got a cheesecake and a meal off their ticket. Overall interesting night. But not a 5 star because of the incident. Well they lost another star. Update went back today because we were hungry. And well I had the worst experience again. The waiter only visited our table three times and didn't come back to check after we got our food. He left us alone for 25 min. Flirting with the other waitress checked other tables not ours. Finally he came over and I told him my corn on the cob was still frozen. So I hadn't eaten that. Disgusted with my frozen corn and we didn't get a refill for our drinks so I asked for cheesecake because I was not going to pay when I didn't get the whole meal. I was going to ask for a manager but he touched the frozen corn and felt it was frozen. I tipped a $1 because the service was just as bad as the corn. I think he said his name was Alex. That's what my receipt says. I will not go back. But second time getting q cheesecake free because they suck.

Food took a long time and came out barely warm. Been fighting horrible heartburn since we left. You can tell the order sat in the back too long when all 3 orders of Southwest Egg rolls are soggy not crisp and crunchy.

Chili's is NOT back baby, back baby, back.... We decided to give them another try because we hadn't eaten at Chili's in at least 5 years. Ordered a steak, Medium rare. It came out pretty much well done. The steak was also sad looking, grey & lacking grill marks. I sent it back. When the new steak came out I had a completely different plate. Still a sad looking steak. But, this time it had butter on top. The "steamed" broccoli was very undercooked (properly prepared the 1st time) & the loaded mashed potatoes had a skin on the bottom the 1st time that was also missing on the 2nd plate. At least the steak was medium rare & they comped half of the plate. It really doesn't make up for the fact that I had to watch my family eat their lunch & rush to scarf my food down in a few minutes.

ate here tonight and was very disappointed. the place was almost empty but still had to wait to be seated until they could clean a table first. the service was very slow, didn't even stay on top of our drinks, took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get our food, when we did it was cold like it had sat out a really long time b4 our server even realized it was finished. i do NOT recommend this location!

Went with my mom and siblings. We were seated but not given menus. After 10 minutes I got up and got them myself. We waited more time. After 15 more minutes or so maybe 20 plus, someone finally asked what we wanted to drink. That's not good service. People who came after us got served quickly. It's ridiculous. I think I'm going to stick with going somewhere else where the service is better. To be honest, I left no tip. If there's several people ignoring a table, that's a clear sign they aren't professional and doing a good job. I definitely don't recommend this chili's.

Wife ordered chicken sandwich, it came cold!, her coffee was old and strong oder. The second cup she was given was worse!. This should never happen!. Not good experience at all....

We did a Togo order. Ordere mushrooms as a side dish. They were burnt and a small pile of sliced mushrooms. Not even close to a side dish. Also the chicken crispers are more like Wingstop’s boneless wings than the crispers they have been making for 30 years. Also there was no gravy for mashed potatoes. Maybe that is off the menu like the tacos! What had happened to Chilis???!

It is a nice place for the locals because they are used to the service and food quality. Sadly, if you are stopping in Stephenville, this is not the best place to stop. There is truly a lack of service. They are understaffed in so many ways. Refills take longer due to the manager and waitresses having to clean tables, take orders, and serve. With more than 7 empty tables, no wait to sit, and service still runs slow enough to make food lack in heat and flavor. The food really did not fit the bill in all categories. Salad over saturated, chicken fajitas had no sizzle, fries warmish, sandwiches lacked quality. Sorry, not in the list to come back.

Had an online order through door dash. There was problems with the order so I called Chili’s directly and was put on hold for 12 minutes while they figure out what was going on with my order. Then the phone hung up so I called back and spoke to the same guy, Eric, and he said he was going to get me a manager so I sat on hold for another five minutes and hung up and decided it wasn’t worth my breath. Second time this has happened with to go orders. I’m done with you Chili’s. Finally received my food and it wasn’t even warm.

Our server Christian was awsome... he has great customer service. Thank you Christian... but Mgr who was on duty the night of 12-9-16 @ 9pm very rude...we tried to order ribs the were told the kitchen was out.. then when we asked to add to order were told it would cost more... COST WAS NOT THE ISSUE...being told it would cost A LOT more was the issue...then not being allowed to add on really did upset us but especially my husband!!! My girls had to hurry up and eat our meal so we could leave and my husband something to eat... Then the item that did not eat or even get was still on my ticket...i asked Christian to please remove it and he did..but had I not looked I would have paid for plate that I did not eat!!! We just one family of 4 but how people could this have happened to...im sorry that is not Customer Service.. brinker please look into this!!! Will not be going back..!!

Horrible wait at the door and the table. Waiter took forever with basically everything down to the check. The atmosphere was bad as well, I can't believe there are places still out there that have smoking sections! Yuck. The 80's are over. This Chili's was too short handed and full of smoke. Not a pleasure.

Went for lunch. Took over 45 mins to bring our food out. It wasn’t busy. The people next to us, 2 of the occupants came after we showed up; they received their food before us. By the time our food was brought out, it was warm not even hot. You could tell it had been sitting there. The bbq sauce looked old. Bad service

My family and friends stopped by Chilis in Stephenville for Fathers day. We were seated promptly, then we waited and waited and waited. After over 25 min. A waitress noticed we were sitting with no drinks or anything for a while. She walked by and asked us if we had been helped ? We told her no, and she said she would go check on our waitress. She returned and told us she would take our order and our waiter would be right out. After a while she brought our order but we still had not seen our waiter. She said she was sorry and would check on him. A while later he came by the table and asked if we needed anything. We told him we all had fries and burgers and needed ketchup. About 10 min later he brought 2 small individual plastic cups with a spoon full of ketchup. We all needed refills by then and he started getting really irritated and became really snippy. This continued for several minutes. Then when we asked for our check, he left and returned about 5 min later and in a very unprofessional manner said we needed to find our order on the table computer. Two of our group asked to pay in cash but he walked away. We picked up the table computer and it was off line because they has closed. He finally came back and took the computer and left. A while later he returned with the receipts for us to pay. BAD FATHERS DAY EXPERIENCE.!

Normally don’t take the time to write reviews but my friend and I had such horrible service that I have to. Our receipt says our server was “Face”. Not only did she completely abandon us after she took our order but she also made horribly rude comments to my friend. She tended to her other tables perfectly but walked past my empty glass 5 times, never asked how our food was, and I had to get a manager before she’d talk to us again. Waited 20 minutes with empty plates trying to order dessert. Worst service and the manager did nothing but make excuses. Won’t be going back to this place for a while.

Had to sit next to a loud offensive drunk in booth next to us! The bartender cut him off so he chose to sit next to us. Another drunk is cut off and joins the first drunk next to us. We left before they drove out of there. Food was good but not enjoyable with obnoxious drunks next to you.

My boyfriend got a beer at the bar while we waited to be seated because they sat the people that walked in behind us first. They charged him $7 for a Shiner. Then he ordered ribs and the meat was awful and the table next to us got a completely rare steak when they ordered a medium. It was awful. This is the second time I’ve had a bad experience here. Never again.

From the moment we were seated, we were not taken care of. Needed a high chair for our young child, which the hostess said she was going to get....we had to remind her when she passed by 5 minutes later. Another 5 minutes pass, all the servers walk right past our table, not even asking if we have been helped yet. Finally one girl does a double take and walks back to finally ask the question if anyone has helped us yet. Get our order in, it's pretty busy so I don't really have expectations of it coming out super quick. 30 minutes later our food arrives. I got quesadillas which were ok, older child got cheeseburgers, wife got fajitas. The wife's food was undercooked, the onions and peppers were very crunchy, the chicken looked like it was barely cooked. Normally this comes out in a sizzling cast iron skillet, it was so cold we could hold it bare handed. Luckily our server was very nice and had fun talking with our kids. Glad we will never have to stop here ever again.

Worst service I've ever received!!!! The waiter was rude and rushed everyone at the table. He cut us off and told us he had another table he needed to handle. When we got out drinks he didn't disperse them. He just set the drinks in the middle of the table and walked away. He didnt pay attention to the table after we got our food either!

No one could eat the food. It was way to salty. One person said it reminded him of the salt water. His mom used to make him rinse his mouth out with. After losing a tooth. 9 people tried the food. And know one wanted it. Because it was over salted. So don't eat there food with a week heart. Might kill you. I couldn't give it Away. O and plus menu said a salad comes with Roman lettuce. They put iceberg lettuce in it. So I had to trash the entire $66. Meal. I can't express how much. A person with a week heart should never eat there. The three people I bought it for. Gave it back saying it was way too salty. Six customers ordering fast food I had them try it. They all said over salted, it just taste bad. Nothing personal, but Y'all are going to kill someone with that much salt.

We were given raw chicken tenders. Our waiter never refilled our drinks or chips When we told him about the chicken he didn’t offer to take it off our bill just said sorry Worst experience here yet. Will not be back If y’all went saminilla this is the place to go!

The food was cold. When we asked to reheat it, we received a little snooty response. This has been some months back between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have not returned. Over a period of a year or so, the quality of food, service, organization of staff all went down hill. We see this with new managers at multiple chain restaurants in town. The manager is great, the food is great, the service is great, the manager gets a promotion or new better paying job and leaves. Then maybe we get an average one or a bad one and the cycle starts over again. Anyone ask themselves why it is we are unable to get a consistent good family owned steak house or even a run of the mill chain and have steady quality for years? I have no idea, but it has been the same since the 1980s.
