Exactly what you expect from Sonic. Came and ordered a drink, service was quick (mostly because it was just a drink, though, if you order menu items, that's universally going to net you a little more time), drink was tasty, if you get literally any drink here, ask to add strawberry into it. They have this strawberry syrup stuff with actual strawberry pieces in it and it tastes good, sweet, addictive almost. I'm gonna have to google whether or not I can purchase that syrup for my apartment somewhere.

I don't remember what the rest of the food tastes like. I always get the popcorn chicken and fries. I always hold up the drive thru when I order it because no one orders it. It's kind of like ordering a chicken fried steak from a Chinese restaurant. They have the item on the menu but it's not what they are known for.

Big fan of Sonic. You did forget the cheese sauce for my pretzel, but mistakes happen. No faulting the quality of the rest of the food. I'd be very sad if I had to move somewhere that didn't have a Sonic. We had Whataburger for lunch the day before and it sucked. This is what I was looking for and you definitely delivered. I'm a #2 kind of guy and I've never had a bad one yet.

For a late night bite to eat after work, it was good. I ordered a hot dog, tater tots and a coke. The food came out quick and was fresh. The service was prompte and very nice.

Nothing beats Sonic happy hour on a hot summer day in Texas. Give me those big, freezing cold drinks! Add vanilla! And an order of those little stuffed peppers. Throw a couple of grilled cheeses and a corn dog to the kids in the back. All set!

I love sonic. I know there is a lot of various new items every so often. I usually gonwith what I know. I order a jr.cheeseburger with ketchup and cheese only, a corn dog with both ketchup and mustard for the sauce, I get a Route 44 Ocean water and if I am feeling a desert I like the orange cream shake. I like the seating they have outside (since you can't go inside Sonic) and it is well lit. The staff is on point and attentive. A++++++

Sonic still is it always has been my favorite place to go for drinks and fast food I tried the gummy shark float would sound like a good idea that was actually very tart but the ice cream was good

The manager Jacob is really nice and friendly took my order and for my coworker as well and was beyond helpful he made us feel great and knows how to run his store. Recommend this sonic to everyone food is always good

Can't complain. Eat here weekly. Staff is always responding to specific requests. Car Hops are good. Voice of the speaker is friendly, polite, and speaks clearly. Amazing! Food is good. Sonic freshly made to order hamburgers, onion rings, fries, coney dogs, and what a selection of drinks! Shakes, ice cream concoctions, also customized to your palate! If your driving in Coit it's a quick turn on Mapleshade. Hidden gem.

If you come here with a family be prepared to pay a huge chunk out of your pocket. While this car hopping place is a nice experience of how fast food once was. Do no be fooled by the slick high pricing. The food is good enough so you cannot complain. The girls are kind of cute if you get lucky. The staff overall is kind and caring. They will give you free food if they mess up your order. I go here with 2 people and spend 20 dollars at the most.

I eat at sonic once or twice a month. Today was my first at this location and the burger was made perfectly. Great balance of lettuce, onions, pickles mustard and ketchup. This may sound dumb but the guy or gal that made this one crushed it.

Ordered 8 number twos, sandwich only. Add mustard to one. They were so confused or couldnt hear the young lady actually came out to the car. They even sent a guy with a tray full of condiments so not to miss anything. Great Burgers. They marked 7 ketchup and 1 mustard. Perfect.

We placed our order. Our order was brought out to us in a bet timely manner!!! I noticed 4 guys inside & 3 of them were running orders out & helping the others with drinks. Our car-hop was friendly & asked if we needed extra condiments, which was appreciated. We ate in our vehicle & then we waited around to give our "guy" a extra tip. They were all working hard & showed great teamwork!!! Also, our food was hot & fresh!!!

I work right across the street from the sonic on Mapleshade in Plano Dallas Texas. I order a cherry limeade and cheese sticks most times on my lunch break, at least 4 days a week. My food always comes out hot. I always receive the kindest servers. Did i mention the food id always hot and fresh and yes its good.

The food that day was fantastic so I gave it the fast food five. My double meat cheeseburger was the best I've ever had at Sonic, seriously. My friend had the chicken tenders, I had one, and we agreed they were great! My fries were very hot which is good, but they weren't cooked crispy which isn't so good. We were there about 4pm and Sonic is pretty reliable during non rush time periods. If you're a meat eater try the double meat cheeseburger, I think you'll like it!

Fast service served with a smile. Food was warm, drinks perfect and the grounds were well kept. Definitly worth a stop if you need a quick bite to eat. Always check signage for deals as they seem to have one every few weeks. Plus they have the best shakes!

We ordered 2 Crispy Sandwich’s plane and dry with cheese(#9). I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars. Also ordered an ocean water and it was probably one of the best ocean waters we’ve ever had. It was crisp, fizzy where it matters, and overall great taste. I would rate it a 10/5. The strawberry cheesecake milkshake was creamy and delicious and surprisingly not too sweet. It was perfect. 10/5. Service was the best part. Everyone was happy, employees were smiling, and people looked happy in the cars next to us. 10/5 stars Our visit was between 12 noon to 2pm.

I recently visited the OG Sonic location and had a decent experience overall. The burger was okay—not the best I’ve had, but it had that classic Sonic flavor. The fries were a bit greasy and I wish they had remembered the ketchup. However, I have to admit, I view this place through rose-tinted glasses because of all the great memories I've had here. The nostalgic vibe definitely adds to the experience. I’ll give it four stars, and I’ll be back to see if they can improve on those fries!

I had a great experience ordering through Sonic's app and picking up my food in person for the first time. It saved me time because I ordered ahead and my food was ready when I arrived. The process was easy: after placing my order on the app and selecting a pickup time, I parked in a spot and checked in on the app once I arrived. I didn't have to worry about communication issues with a speaker and was able to easily customize my order on the app. The whole process was quick and easy, and I would definitely recommend it.

Tried Sonic with ordering through app and picking up in person for the first time today. Liked it so much better than ordering in person using the speakers by each spot. Saved time because ordered ahead and food ready when I got there. Super easy system. After placing order on app and choosing pick up time, you just park in a spot where you’d usually order with the screen, open order in app and click “check in”. Once you put in the number of the spot you’re in, your check in shows up on the big screen and someone brings out your order. Quick and easy and no need to worry about communication issues when ordering through the speaker. Also can easily customize order when placing it on the app.

I love this branch of Sonic Drive-in. I visit it everytime during my Walmart shopping. Happy hours are my favorite. They have happy hours everyday 2-4pm. I'm vegetarian, my go-to order is - Onion rings and Mozzarella Cheese Sticks. So yumm! Fast service and nice breezy place to enjoy the food.

Comsistent service whenver I show up at this location. Orders are normally accurate however I wish they would mark drinks off if you have more than two. All too often we have to figure out which drink is which in the car and the car hops never know when we ask. Thata a small issue though compared to other locations.

GF & I tried the SuperSonic Bacon Double Cheeseburgers. 4*. Onion rings ok, but too dark, a little overcooked. 2*. Tater Tots were 4*. Cranberry Limeade 5*. $25. Was a $2 tip ok? It's not like table service, so I was worried I might be too stingy.

I love this location. Like everywhere, they mess up your order a few times but if you call it to their attention, they are very apologetic. Most of the carhops let you keep the order they bring to you while still having yours brought out to you. No, I'm not greedy but love their drinks, shakes, blast, slushes, and other frozen treats, so I had to point that out. They have one or two people I'm not very sure about but on a scale of 1-10, I'd give them a solid 8.5. I visit as often as I can. Customer service is very good the majority of the time.

Just like the TV commercial. Great hot fresh burgers, fries, chicken tenders and more. In the warmer weather the marvelous milk shakes, especially after 8pm, when they are half price is worth it to get one by itself. In cooler days, the chilli brings back fun memories. The place is always kept clean and it's really s fun place to bring the kids also. All things considered, it's very reasonable and enjoyable.

The man who took my order was helpful but wouldn’t let me finish my sentences before he replied 😁😂 It’s totally fine though because he was enthusiastic. However my food was a bit cold even after coming to stall in about two minutes. The carhop was a bit rude as well. But over all service was good.

The carhops are very friendly. They don't just throw the food at you like other locations. The wait is a bit longer during lunch and "dinner" hours but it's to be expected. Tip: download the app for day-long savings and convenience.

Most always enjoy a trip to Sonic!! Hoppers here often forget the extras: I requested it in my online order, then also asked for extra mustard, but only gave me 2 pkts, for the 3 corny dogs I ordered!! Shouldn't be a big deal right? But it kinda is!!

The food here is usually good. However, according to Google information, this location closes either at 11:00 PM or 12:00 AM, depending on the day. Four times in the past two months, I have gone to this location (4025 Mapleshade Lane) well before 11 PM and, the restaurant was already closed. Last night, I got there at 7:50 PM and was informed that they were closed for the night. One other time, I arrived at around 8:20 and was able to order. Maybe five minutes later, someone else pulled up and tried to order and was told they were closed for the night. Sonic needs to provide consistent and accurate operating hours. It is very frustrating to show up well before the posted hours and be told they are closed. By the way, I have gone to the Sonic located at 3404 Coit Road in Plano when the one on Mapleshade has closed early and the one on Coit is always open.

My girlfriend and I both ordered food and it arrived quickly and at a good temperature, however, her food was typical good sonic, but my SuperSonic breakfast burrito was very poor. Things were falling out and it tasted cheap. Otherwise it was a good experience

I like this sonic, the service is always friendly and efficient, but they've messed up my order a couple times.... Like I'll ask for cookie dough bites in my shake and discover when I get home that they were omitted. This has happened multiple times and clearly I'm emotionally scared, hence the review.

Well, I received the friendliest service of the wrong drink! Ordered a Coke with cherry flavor with the app. Got it fairly fast, and again very friendly service. Left to continue my day then tasted to find that it was a root beer! OK, so they have really good root beer, too. Shh. It happens.

I mean, it's Sonic, what is there to say? The food, while very average, was made and brought out fairly quickly. And there's something nice about being able to order while being parked, instead of having to deal with a line. My main issue is that I ordered 4 meals to go (and i was alone), and the gentleman that brought my order out stated they had no drink carriers. Not apologetically, no explanation of whether this was normal or not, just "Yeah, we don't have those." Let's just say I had to drive home very slowly...

Was there during lunch time. Busy and seemed to be short staffed. Hot dog was not even warm! Ordered mustard and onion and was delivered with neither Had to repeat order 3 times to clerk and still came out with nothing on it. Car hop made some excuse about why order was not right. This is not a good Sonic!

Got our order, went home and found out that they didn't give us all our order. I had ordered chillie cheese hot dog with and chillie cheese tots. The tots was missing! My wife had ordered the sweet honey BBQ popcorn chicken and over half of the popcorn chicken was so hard it wasn't eat able.

2nd time coming to this location during Happy Hour and having to drive back after getting food and drinks that they messed up our drink order! Guess they can not handle the Happy Hour Rush if they keep on messing up our order on different days of the week!!

Customer service is surely lacking at this location. It's one thing to make a mistake on an order but to have a young girl come back with the wrong slush a second time knowingly and expecting us to take it anyway is insane. We order three meals which were fine but they couldn't get a simple watermelon mango slush right. When the order initially was brought to us that drink was missing. My strawberry slush didn't have any strawberries in it. When the girl came back with the missing drink she told us it was a watermelon fruit slush I think. Not what we ordered. Management really needs to get these kids in order. Will not be going there again.

Im not a huge sonic fan. I stopped in to get a particular hot dog they took off the menu that i had a taste for. So i decided to get the dragon fruit red bull slush. I drink the dragon fruit red bull so thought it would be great. It was extremely too sweet for my liking. I tried to drink it but it was like sweet syrup.

I ordered a Cherry-Vanilla Coke, a Cherry Limeade ex cherry syrup, 2 Pretzels, Chicken Slinger & Chili Cheese Tots. The limeade didn't have extra syrup, the chicken sandwich had no mayo or lettuce (when we asked for it to be remade, they brought out the same thing no lettuce or mayo) and the tots looked like they were made awhile ago. The only good part was our server Dillard. He was nice & fixed our order without hesitation.

I was so hungry for corn dogs and tater tots. My corn dogs tasted old and my tots had been done so long they were cold. One small tot order plus 2 small corn dogs and a large cherry limeade (yum) plus tip ran me $13. I wasn't stuffed and i wasn't satisfied at all when i was finished. I won't go back for food, probably. The cherry limeade is another story altogether. They are YUM. I make them at home, too, with sprite, cherry juice and a squeezed lime (1/4 - 1/2). It may not be quite as food, but close

Ordered 2 of your BBQ pork cheeseburgers. Your ads show this nice thick layer of pork on a sandwich. What I got was about a tablespoon of pork in the middle of the burger pattie. Had to take bun off to see it. It was about the size of a dill pickle. What a joke. Scratch Sonic off my list of fast food places.

I have been here multiple times now and they are the slowest sonic I have ever seen. Both times I only ordered a rt 44 drink and it took over 15 mins to get the drink. The first time the male staff possibly manager was very rude and said well we are short staffed and only one worker. I understand and am sorry but it still doesn’t take that long for one drink to come out. Slowest sonic I’ve ever seen

Usually is a great location! There was a long hair in my bag when I opened it, then my lid to my drink was not put on all the way and proceeded to spill when I picked it up.

Just passing through so I stopped to get an American hot dog and fries. Hot dog was prepared very poorly. It had so much relish and chunk of onions that was ridiculous. When I went to go pick it up to take a bite the bun was actually busted. If you’re gonna be that sloppy on how you serve your food at least include a fork in the bag,Glad I was only passing through .

Very disorganized. Difficult to get in & out. Will NEVER use this Sonic again. Slushee wasn't even frozen. There are better Sonics, don't use this one. Also they had caution tape closing off one entire side of drive in.

They brought out the wrong order. We gave it back to the car hop. I tried to give back the drink also. The car hop told me the drink was correct. We finally received the correct food. We drove off. We started to drink the drink. Lol and behold the drink was wrong also. It was a limeade with extra ice. We ordered a diet limeade with light ice. We were already driving in traffic and did not want to turn around to deal with Sonic again.

I actually give this place 0 stars but it's making put 1 to put a review. The manager .. STORE MANAGER to be exact Tracey was very rude to me last night. She treated me so horribly. I will not come back to this place ever again. Their buttons are broke and instead of them telling you that when they see you waiting there for so long, they just look but don't acknowledge you. Place sucks. Better management is needed asap!!!!

Their new Sonic app is terrible. You must prepurchase a payment card, there is no option for paying with cash when you pick up the food. I am NOT giving them my credit card number. So, this terrible app has soured me on anything Sonic. What management team makes these stupid decisions? Did they do any research to find out what customers think? Have they heard of Focus Groups?

I ordered ahead on the Sonic app. When I got there I let them know I was there and they said my order would be right out. 20 min later, I had to push the button again and ask about my order. They hadn't even started it yet. All I had was a large limeade. Why order via the app if it's going to take 30 min for me to her my drink? Where is the convenience and time saving?

It was a rainy day I was the only customer from what I could see in the drive thru and I didn't see any customers in the inside from what I could see I will go back I always give people a second chance after the second chance if the food is not of good quality then I won't return. Even when you're the only customer you shouldn't give people old food I can tell even when you warm it so please don't do that it's not good customer service the food should Always be fresh and hot.

We started visiting this Sonic location after having bad experiences at the location on Montfort. We chose it because the service was more friendly, the atmosphere better (outside music) and it has an outside seating area. Recently however, things have changed. Three weeks ago we visited after a thunderstorm. They had lost power and couldn't serve us-perfectly understood. The next week, their ice cream machine was broken-disappointing, but that happens. The next week, the ice cream machine is STILL broken-OK, wait a minute. How in the world are you SONIC and have a broken ice cream machine for over two weeks? Admittedly, this likely has nothing to do with the location itself and instead is an operational issue at the regional or corporate level, but come on. To be fair, we understand that there are still COVID-related supply chain issues and challenges getting access to certain services, but I would think that something as simple, and important, as Sonic getting their ice cream machine fixed, wouldn't take this much time. UPDATE: After a few weeks of successfully being able to order ice cream at this location, alas the ice cream machine was broken AGAIN when we visited September 14. We've given up, and instead are buying fixings at Kroger and making treats at home.

We sat for 15 minutes along with roughly 10 other cars before someone bothered to tell us that they closed 3 hours early due to lack of staffing. I had to go up to the door to get someone to actually acknowledge anyone. I understand staffing issues, but you literally just wasted the time of everyone there. Put up signs or tell us through the speakers. Unacceptable.

The manager, Pablo was disrespectful and honestly incompetent. He was arguing with me for 20 minutes because HE messed up my order and kept trying to justify why.. and blame me when it literally was HIS FAULT. He then proceeded to ask me to hold on to the food until tomorrow, since when I get off they’re closed and then I can get my refund.. tragic. I’m disappointed& I would tell you about the quality too but I never got to taste the food so..

Manager Marco not only didn't listen to the food order, list it correctly, talked through my attempt at corrections, talked through my attempt at condiments... then argued with me about a refund of the uncooked and frozen in the middle of the food. Refused to refund the food and tried to take my drinks to THROW THEM AWAY. Zero customer strive by the man in charge of staff. After attitude and me refusing to back down a refund for food was issued but not without major disrespect then entire time after his refusal to come out originally. This sonic has gone WAY downhill. Staff still helpful and friendly however the manager is not nor are basic standards of food or customers care. It's sad really.

I went to this location at about 8pm, and I promise you I tried my best to get food but the employees seemed uninterested. Pressed the red button and waited for 20+ minutes to be served, but no one ever spoke to me. Pressed it again multiple times, honked my horn, waved at the people inside, no one ever even looked at me. I could see the employees inside chatting and showing each other tiktoks the entire time. No clue what's going on at this place but don't expect any kind of service if you decide to go!

Came around 10:30 and waited almost 30 minutes after pressing the red button MULTIPLE times to pick up a doordash order and only was able to flag down an employee rolling his eyes after a car who pulled up after had been helped. Employee also gave the wrong order with food missing and did not care to come back out. Saw at least 5 cars leave in frustration after not being helped. Way to go Sonic, great customer service.

Tried to order for me and my wife, only two drinks. I had to order 3 times after their initial Hello to get a confirmation any confirmation they were actually listening. 3rd time the said we are taking too long and they were short staffed and had other orders waiting. Poor excuse, would have gladly waited if they gave me a damn minute to order, but no they just cut off the screen with no communication 3 times. We just left, basically getting rushed out. Awful, lazy, poor service.

Please don’t eat here this place is roach infested and i definitely saw a mouse run across the window seal. I won’t ever be going back. Also the systems always down and stuff is rude

Made me late for work.. I waited 14 minutes for a wrong order, I asked for a fresh fruit lemon berry slush fresh fruit only no syrup & she brought out a lemon syrup slush no fruit no strawberry, English isn't the 1st language for most of the employees, now I'm late for work no food or nothing & I did press the button when I saw lemon only and they never came back

Do not buy sweet tea from here. Sometimes it's good, but at least 50% of the time, it's nasty. Seems like they make it at 6 am, and it's rancid tasting by the evening. It's ridiculous to pay $3 for a nasty drink. We go very often. I've tried to call on numerous occasions but no luck getting through.

Purchased a single $3 drink here. Appears to be massively understaffed. The employees were absolutely flying around inside and running back in after delivering orders. Time on my receipt was 7:39 and I didn't get my drink until 7:51.

Really Sonic? That's all the tots you're going to give me? Got the same serving size as the child's meal. Extremely lame and disappointing. Also ordered front with "easy" ice but the cup is packed with ice.

I’ve been to this Sonic for over 4 years and have never dealt with such hostile, rude, racists workers. Kalani and Gabriel were being extremely rude since our initial order, but were speaking so kindly to all of the white customers. When I let Gabriel know I was going to report him and hoped he got fired, his response was “I hope I get fired, I’ve been here way too long”. Hopefully management does something about it because these people clearly don’t want to work in customer service. Edited to add the manager’s joke of a response, as if my whole order hadn’t been wrong, but especially, as if his employees hadn’t been extremely unprofessional.

Having one of your employees rip the cup out of my hands and pull out a pocket knife to cut it open right in front of my car is crazyyy. I am a young girl alone and having a guy run up to my car with a knife is absolutely not okay! The service here is awful and the entire staff needs retraining and that man does not need to work in customer service and if you continue to employ him after this experience that speaks volumes about the type of company you are.

Horrible service and food. My fries were soggy after asking for fresh fries, they remake them and pour the whole bottle of salt on them. Idk if they were trying to be funny but I was extremely unpleased. Spoke with the manager, who wasn’t the politest, and got a refund. Again, HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!

Saturday 19 2025 2:30 pm I arrived and asked for a bag of ice and they didn't want to sell it to me. They said they didn't sell ice that day 👎🏻 and there were only like 4 cars, meaning it was slow and they denied me the bag of ice.

I came to sonic on my 30 min lunch for a sausage, egg and cheese, breakfast burrito and a small iced water. I had to come back after I LEFT because they gave me an egg and cheese burrito with no sausage although I confirmed it on screen with the guy with the earrings . The sticker even said sausage burrito. When I drove all the way back this is what I received . Will NEVER be coming to this sonic again this is the same as an egg and cheese burrito. There’s literally 6-7 pieces of sausage on it . I would have went back and just got a refund but I’d be wasting more in gas . I was so mad I wasted the last 5 minutes of my break just for this review.

i got a large mozzarella stick and i specifically asked for 5 marinara and a dirty dr pepper extra sweet . they did not give me any marinara the first time and the drink was not extra sweet. i asked for 5 marinara again. they brought me two. i called them back and asked for 3 more marinara. they brought me two. i gave up. i cannot teach anybody math unfortunately.

I've been trying to call this sonic since 11am and stopped trying at 6pm. Nobody will answer the phone. I needed to place 55 drink orders for our schools field day and I am unable to order such a large amount online so im being forced to call but NOBODY WILL PICK UP THE PHONE. Update: ordered multiple orders online and went to go pick up and the lady there said there was no order made. She finally just saw it come through and she gets IRRITATED WITH ME saying it's a large order and this should've been placed yesterday by phone. I CANT MAKE THIS UP I SWEAR THIS COMPLAINT WILL GO TO MANAGEMENT!

My food delivery person was AMAZING! REASON FOR THE 1 🌟 🥰 - I order a hot dog took a bite of it and the texture was horrid which made me investigate further. I pulled the hot dog out of the bun and the bun where the hot dog was encased was green. If you look where I bit the hot dog you can see the hot dog is bad. 👎🏽 I threw it away and am disappointed 😞 because this is my go to spot to take my girls after school. This will be the 2nd Sonic I have had ought with. Do better
