Came here Christmas day for breakfast with my family. They were busy however the wait was not too long. Our waitress was great, and all of the staff were on there game. Food was good, the only downside was my boyfriends hashbrowns were burned a little. Everything else was good!
Amanda was amazing and she welcomed us in with a warm smile and great dance moves 😆😁
Went on a week day and I enjoyed the food and the service is was off the chain the whole time I was there didn't need to worry about my refill on drinks food was delicious and good I would recommend this restaurant.

I would say a total of 4.5 🌟 stars. Food was about as good as IHOP gets. Service was good 5 stars. I will go back. UPDATE I go back all the time now. Good food for a great price. Cook usually cooks my eggs over medium Perfect !!!

Every time we pass through Lubbock we stop at this IHOP. I am not sure how they do it, but they have excellent wait staff! The servers go above and beyond every time, and are always on point even when it's busy. They genuinely seem to like their job, and want to do their best. The food is normal dive diner IHOP food. The service is always great here!
Busy Sunday morning. We were in and out fairly quick. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Pauly was our server he was great. Our food was great.
OMG.... The options though?! Wow so many and the food is really really good. It's hard to write a review when everything is just right on the money and there is a combination for every craving. Pancakes and omelettes and burgers you'll enjoy so much!!! JUST GO.... besides it's open 24hrs so bon appetit!

The inside of this restaurant has definitely seen better days. Per notices outside, face masks are required by all inside, although the cooks had them on their chin and the servers only had their mouths covered. I ordered the Sirloin Tips and Eggs and although it was a lengthy wait, it was still super delicious.
September 2023 chocolate chip pancakes! Perfect! Crispy Bacon! Perfect! I ordered online and the food was ready and perfect when I arrived to take it home. Packed perfectly with all the fixings and extras. The two ladies at the front handled their jobs perfectly. My dad ordered food on the spot and had it to go as well. It was still hot when we got home. Superb Monday dinner iHop. Thanks!

Our server was awesome. Even when a large table next to us was being a bit rude and causing a scene, which their server had to handle interestingly. Their system had went down temporarily which caused the kitchen to get backed up a bit. Didn't matter, our server took care of us, and the food was amazing. In town for the night for a graduation and would gladly return at this location for a late night dinner. Thank you again Alyssa C. !!!!!
The service I had was impeccable The wait staff is by far superior to any other I recommend going to this IHOP and sitting in nikhias section she's one of the best I've ever seen she's super sweet intelligent and delightful they're lucky to have her
Victoria was our server tonight, and we have been coming to this location for over 20 years and tonight was by far the best service we have ever had. Would recommend that anyone that comes to this location request her anytime they can.
As soon as we walk in we were seated within minutes so not a long wait. Atmosphere was quite, look like everyone was enjoying their breakfast. The waitress was very polite, she gave us enough time to look at menu. Breakfast was so delicious, our waitress Sally did a great job. Thank you!
I come in 2–3 times a week and ever since Amanda M. became GM, this IHOP has completely turned around! The staff is happier, the atmosphere is MUCH more positive, and the service is excellent. Huge credit to Amanda for making such a difference!

We had a great experience at this IHop location near 289 Hwy for an early morning 5am breakfast. We were greeted and seated at our table as soon as we arrived. Our server Rebecca was friendly, kind and helpful. Our beverages and food were provided immediately. Everything was exactly as we ordered and our meal was delicious. We waited only 15 minutes to receive our food and we were finished with our meal in about 40 minutes. However, we were not rushed and stayed to enjoy some more coffee before heading out to our busy day. Thank you IHop and Rebecca for a great start to our day! :-)
Our waitress Allison was absolutely fantastic. She was super kind and made sure that we were completely happy and satisfied. My coworkers and I came after a late night at work and I’ve never had a better experience at an ihop 🙂↕️ Whatever she’s getting paid isn’t enough, give that woman a raise immediately.

It has been some years since I’ve been IHOP but me and my brother had a very great breakfast. The food was amazing so she French toast. It was very delightful and thank you, Sherry.
The hostess I had the pleasure of interacting with was so kind and sweet, and it sounded like the staff were actually enjoying themselves which was such a refreshing change of pace. That made the overall experience much more enjoyable, in my opinion. I can't thank the hostess enough, she really cheered me up after having a rough day. I wish I caught her name, but short dark hair and contagious smile is what I can remember!
Melody has great customer service. She has been my waitress a few times now. I never have to ask her for anything she always brings condiments to the table before food comes out. My drink never goes empty. Need I say more… Thank you Melody for your hard work
James was my server and he was so welcoming and hilarious! When I come back, I’ll definitely be asking for him again. Hands down the best IHOP in town—the food came out fast, fresh, and delicious. You can tell management keeps everything running smoothly and organized. 10/10 recommend!
This IHOP is Awesome! The food is very good, was served in good timing, fresh and delicious. Our server was very nice. He checked on us often and got what we asked for quickly and thoroughly. I have to add we went on a Sunday and the place was packed, but that didn't make a difference. we were served within 15 minutes. There were people in and out of building waiting with several groups. That did not take away from their quick service with lots of satisfied people leaving with smiles and good mornings. This visit definitely has changed our minds of being deterred by how many people are there. You will find good food, great prices and great service.
We had a late breakfast here around 11:00 on 9/23. The place was almost completely full when we arrived, but we were still immediately seated. After a few minutes of perusing the menu, we were warmly greeted by our server. I got the coffee, which was fantastic with the vanilla creamer provided at the table. And after a few more minutes, we decided on our orders. I chose the spicy poblano omelette with hash browns, and my son got the Cinn-A-Stack combo. He loved the pancakes. I enjoyed the omelette, even though it was especially spicy. Overall we enjoyed our meal and had a good time.

Went in the evening there was only 3 more small group tables. when we got there and only 2 waitresses were working..and it took them almost 40 minutes just for us to get our food it was only 2 of us we got breakfast plates..waitress was great it just took to long for the food
Server and food was fantastic, but I've never met such a rude hostess. She was a middle aged Hispanic lady. We had a party of 6 (3 were on the way) and she refused to seat us until our party made it. I also watched her demand guests to follow her and catch an attitude when they didn't follow (because she never addressed them).

Delicious 😋 My friend and I ordered the spicy poblano eggs Benedict with our coffee. It had an amazing flavor and great appeal! The entree came with shredded brisket, jalapeños, onions, red peppers, maybe some green peppers, and poached eggs on an English muffin topped with their special poblano sauce and hashbrowns. Super good, so I highly recommend this entree if you like spicy food. Our server, Victoria, was a fantastic server 👌👌
This IHOP is rather expensive, as Breakfast goes. Instead of going out for supper, my wife and I decided to meet our son for breakfast at this IHOP. The food, service as well as the atmosphere was very welcoming. I had a tasty omelet, my wife, a chocolate chip waffle, of which She Was NOT PLEASED WITH. In my opinion, it was just OK... I FINISHED IT OFF. Our son was pleased, with his choice of eggs with hash browns.
Our server, Joshua, was great! Attentive and accurate and friendly. The food was standard IHOP fare, good diner food (we had breakfast). Location was a hit sketchy on an early Saturday a.m.but the restaurant itself was well-lit and clean and secure.
Even though IHOP was really busy, the service was great! Our waiter, Bowen, was so sweet and kind—he made sure we had everything we needed. I was surprised to see that many people dining at this hour. I ordered steak eggs and sausage to go. Cooks could maybe use additional training. As I waited for my order I heard people complaining about thier food. I myself was not satisfied on how my streak was cooked. This place has good days and bad days. I definitely get the feeling there's heavy pressure from somewhere up the management chain to cut costs anywhere and everywhere. The portions at this location have always been on the small side compared to other IHOP locations, but they've been getting worse in the last year or so. Asking for extra sauces or condiments is like pulling teeth and is usually a hefty additional charge. Photo is from our last visit here; I can only assume it was an artistic decision to plate it this way; it definitely isn't very appetizing. I'd call it "A tablespoon of pot roast with mashed potato log (and hand-print stuffing)".
We were there 10/29/2025 around 5:30PM Barely anyone there. Seated promptly, order taken promptly. We waited for food to come out, and waited and waited. Finally the food came. All the pancakes, eggs and bacon were cold. We'd already waited so long we ate some and left most for a doggy bag. Waitress finally brought our tickets and took our cards. They were never brought back! We finally got up, looking for whoever was checking customers out. Another girl stopped up on the way to the door. She had our cards, we had to finish checking out standing up! My daughter looked over in the dining room area and there was our missing waitress, Coloring Pumpkins! Cold food and non existent waitresses is inexcusable if you're running a restaurant. The food may not have been served cold if the waitress had picked it up when it was ready. I don't know for a fact if that was the cause. Just know that we won't be back here again.

I had the absolute misfortune of attempting to dine at this pathetic excuse for an IHOP. I placed an online order, expecting a quick and easy pickup—oh, how naive I was. I arrived 20 minutes later, only to be trapped in a purgatory of incompetence for another 40 minutes, watching the staff stumble around like they’d never seen a pancake before. My food? Never materialized. My refund? Apparently a mythical concept these clowns can’t comprehend. No apology, no urgency—just a masterclass in how to waste a customer’s time and money. This place is a dumpster fire masquerading as a restaurant. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else, because IHOP clearly doesn’t give a damn about you. Corporate ought to be ashamed, but I doubt they’re capable of feeling anything beyond greed. Zero stars-shut it down.
Service was great but the food was definitely not they messed up on my chicken fajita omelet and though it was remade cheese was unmelted no avocado and hardly any veggies it was like they just threw them on top and im not even exaggerating it was 3 or 4 peppers slices none mixed in the omlet and about 3 slices of chicken strips idk if it was undercooked or something I ended up getting food poisoning very disappointed I usually have great food and service all the time but this passed time was a total fail and that's because when we arrived they weren't even busy at all, so I cant even imagen how the food would be if they were busy.
Highly unsanitary and repulsive. The condition of this establishment is quite appalling. This issue was immediately apparent upon arrival. Upon receiving our meals, a lengthy strand of hair was discovered atop my dish. Understandably, the meal was promptly returned and I refrained from consuming anything further. The standard of service from the staff has noticeably declined. There appears to be a lack of concern among the employees. In summary, the situation is incredibly unhygienic. Consider this a cautionary message. Also the manager was told by the waitress. She couldn’t care less This manager needs to be mowing lawns or something. Food/ beverage business is not for her.

DAMN. IHOP ATE WITH THAT ONE. The pancakes are moist, fluffy, soft, and so textured. It makes my mouth water when I think about it. I see them pancakes in my dreams. The maple syrup is so savory. And their produce that is servered on the pancakes are so FRESH and TASTY.
We had party 🥳of 12 after graduation 2021. We were told it would be 20-45 minutes. It was almost 1 1/2 they had been taking all the little parties of 2-4 tables for all this time. No problem, but when they were 11 down on list and took the other party of 13 before us. It was unfair, they said they had called that's why they moved them up even though they were 2 behind us. When talked to manager he said they don't take reservations, but they were seated anyway...almost 2-hours, ✔done. Left, 👎NOT smart I-Hop, some of us even came from Dallas, Amarillo & Oregon. I don't understand why they have curbside service to order online, I placed an online order for three breakfasts using curbside service and they never brought my order to my car, after 15 minutes I had to get out of my car to I went in to receive my order myself, there were three women in front of the counter chatting and doing nothing but they did not have time to take my order, which had already been ready for a while, it arrived at my house and my breakfast was all cold, no I recommend ordering online and using this curbside service 👎
Service was horrible!! A side of hash browns finally arrived to the table after all 7 of us finished eating. The server dropped the checks off and didn’t return. Manager cashed us out and ran our payments. The manager was also rude rolling her eyes and not caring what feedback we gave. She blamed everything on the kitchen but the kitchen wasn’t the problem food came out hot and in a timely manner. The problem was the server and the manager. Server couldn’t handle a party of seven and party of 3. She was a mess and then disappeared to the restroom for like 10 minutes. Then had the nerve to sit at the dirty booth next to us and say don’t tell my manager! Being a server and previously with the company for 8/9 years and also a manager I must say this location needs to find some new staff! This location is just overall in need of help!
IHOP is OK. They have some inexpensive deals on meals from tim to time. The waitress that we had was friendly but the order that I got was not what I ordered. She was willing to correct the order, but we were in a rush. The building needs to be improved as it looks the same from when it first opened.
I went with a group of people, so I had no choice but to eat there with them. Years ago there was a waiting line. Tonight, right after church there was only one group of people there, almost empty. I knew something was wrong. If I had been by myself, I would have left right then. Apparently it was empty because of the high prices. Over $17 for a chicken fried steak. One group of people in the whole place and they put us right next to them. Two adults with 10 screaming kids watching their phone at full volume. Prices were extremely high. Cheapest meal was two eggs, two pieces of bacon, two pancakes. So that's what I got. My bill was $7.67. I gave the waitress a $10 bill. She brought back two $1 bills, and that's it. I got up to ask for the rest of my change. I showed her the receipt, while holding the two $1 bills.She said: Oh we just round it off because we don't have the "jingle", meaning silver and copper change. She was eager to take those two $1 bills as a tip, which she thought I was going to do.But since she would not give me all of my change, I told her that was messed up not giving me all of my change. After a few minutes a different waitress walked up and gave me a quarter as the rest of my change, which was still not correct. Started to just give her that quarter as a tip. But instead I gave her nothing because she deserved nothing. And that it was messed up that out of all those empty seats in the place,which used to be fully packed, they put us right next to that group of about 12 noisy people. I had to get up and get away from them on the opposite side of the restaurant until my food got there. I'm in my late '60s, and that was the worst restaurant experience of my life. 😡

Unfortunately, the experience was anything but, due entirely to the conduct of our server, Victoria. Her attitude throughout the evening was rude, dismissive, and wholly lacking basic professionalism. More troubling, however, was the extremely strong and unmistakable odor of marijuana on her person. The smell was pervasive and inappropriate for any workplace, let alone a restaurant where patrons are attempting to enjoy a meal. As an older guest who does not indulge in or tolerate marijuana use, I found the odor so offensive that it directly affected my ability to enjoy my food. By the time my meal arrived, my appetite had been completely lost. No customer should be subjected to this, especially while celebrating a significant personal milestone. This level of service and lack of basic standards is unacceptable. Staff hygiene, professionalism, and demeanor should be non-negotiable, and this experience fell far below what is reasonably expected. I am bringing this to your attention with the expectation that it will be taken seriously and addressed promptly. I would appreciate acknowledgment of this complaint and information regarding how this matter will be handled moving forward.
I have celiac disease, and when I first placed my order I clearly told the waitress that I cannot have gluten and that it is a medical allergy. I ordered the gluten-free pancakes with that understanding. The waitress already placed my order and the kitchen had started preparing it. I had a bad feeling and asked again to confirm that my allergy would actually be taken seriously and that cross-contamination procedures would be followed. She spoke to the manager, and the manager told me I should “come back when it’s less busy.” That means my food was already being cooked while they had no plan to handle it safely. If I hadn’t trusted my instincts and asked a second time, I could have been served something unsafe and gotten very sick. For people with celiac, this isn’t a preference, it’s a medical condition. Offering gluten-free items but only being willing to prepare them safely when the restaurant is slow is dangerous and unacceptable. If you have celiac disease or serious food allergies, please be cautious at this location.
On thanksgiving, my family stopped for dinner in Lubbock Texas. When we got there we were seated immediately, and our order was taken right away. Then we proceeded to wait almost an hour for our food. We asked the waitress and she said the order was placed but was overlooked. We asked to talk to the manager who then began raising her voice to my husband. She guaranteed our food would be out in 15 minutes. We waited the 15 minutes and it was still not out. We asked the waitress again, and then it finally came out about 10 minutes later. One of the orders was incorrect, missing added Avocado. We ate and asked for the receipt. The waitress said she “fought” to get us a discount and it was “a little less than $10.00”. I asked if she took off the Avocado and she said it was included in the discount. The Total was $52.33. We tipped $7.67 to make the total $60.00 even though the service was awful. A couple days later I received a notice from my bank that the total was changed to $100.00. I called the store and one manager did nothing. I called again and Tiffany said that she would get it right for me and refund the whole amount for my trouble. She send a copy of the receipt and it shows someone wrote over the receipt. I waited the 5 days she said it would be to show in my account and it wasn’t there. I called back and she said I should’ve got an email about the dispute from the area manager . I never gave my email address. So I gave it and waited another few days. Called back and talked to the general manager. She said that they were never refunding the full amount only the amount that was changed and I should hear from the area manager. It has been almost a month now and I’ve never heard from the area manager. I want my money back and I want something done about this. It is not okay to steal from your customers.
I want to start this review by sharing the experience my boyfriend and I had last night at this IHOP location. Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on the management and evening staff. We arrived around 8:30 PM and were never greeted upon entering. There were only two servers listed on the section sheet, so we tried to be understanding, assuming they were just short-staffed. That was our first mistake. After several minutes of standing there without being acknowledged, I went to use the restroom while my boyfriend stayed up front. On the way, I noticed a staff member eating at a large booth and another lying down in a booth near the restroom. It was clear that several employees were off-duty or simply not working. Meanwhile, every single table in the restaurant was covered in dirty dishes that looked like they had been sitting there for quite a while. The place felt neglected and unsanitary. When I returned, my boyfriend explained that a woman had attempted to seat him, but upon realizing there were no clean tables, she told him to sit back down and wait. Shortly after, a man came in to pick up a to-go order he had already placed. He spoke to the same woman, and instead of helping him professionally, she responded with visible attitude. When he asked when his order would be ready, she looked at the kitchen, shrugged, and said, “I don’t know,” followed by a laugh. It was incredibly unprofessional. The man sat next to us to wait for his food and asked if we were also waiting to be seated. When we said yes, he seemed frustrated and went back to speak with the staff. She told him, “Yeah, I know. I sat them there. I’m waiting for tables to be cleaned.” However, I could see another woman had already cleared multiple tables — it was obvious we were simply being ignored. After the man argued with her, she quickly rushed to get his to-go order, and as he left, he wished us “good luck.” We waited about five more minutes before deciding to leave as well. I want to be clear: I’ve never had an issue with the morning staff at this location. They’ve always been great. But after this experience, I won’t be returning during the evening shift. Management seriously needs to reevaluate the night team. It’s unacceptable to pay employees to sleep in booths, ignore customers, and treat people rudely — all while the restaurant is in complete disarray. This isn’t just bad service; it’s a total breakdown of responsibility.
