Trying new coffee shops can always be scary. But we were passing by and needed a pick me up and I was pleasantly surprised but the flavor of the coffee. The cashier was very friendly and offered a few suggestions. I also bought a sticker and she put it in a pastry bag to keep it nice. It’s very cute inside too. Plenty of places to site and free WiFi.

We stopped here passing through and we were pleasantly surprised! This is a pretty large venue with plenty of seating and study spots. They have really cool merchandise and beans available. The coffee was good, and a wide variety of things for you to choose from! Would definitely recommend.

Pros: outdoor seating, plenty of indoor seating, delicious savory and sweet snacks, seasonal drinks Cons: some of the drinks are bland They have the most delicious kolachies I've ever eaten! Their blackhole latte is strong on bitter cacao flavor. Decent chai and matcha lattes too. Their Standpipe latte was bland, it was the only thing I tried that I wouldn't recommend but it's not undrinkable. I really like their outdoor seating. Good place to come hang out and relax or chat and enjoy some tasty munchies. An excellent coffee shop.

I am sharing my experience visiting this lovely coffee shop in downtown Lufkin. I stopped by here yesterday on my way back to STL from the Lake Livingston area. The spacious interior of the coffee shop is beautifully designed, with ample tables and seats available for everyone to chat, catch up on work, or relax. The atmosphere of the place is so inviting that it feels like a perfect spot to hang out and unwind. I recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable spot to grab a coffee or spend quality time with friends or colleagues. I ordered a large iced criminal to go with three pastries, including scones and kolaches. They were delicious! The service was fast, and the staff was super friendly. I enjoyed my pit stop here! I recommend this place to those who live in Lufkin or those who are stopping by like I did.

Excellent coffee and service! I really enjoyed the service, my barista really explained everything and gave me a great recommendation. My latte was perfect! The interior is cute and has a nice rustic feel.

Coffee and baked goods are excellent. The ambiance is neat and cozy and the coffeehouse is nestled in an old building surrounded by a few other boutiques and shops. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and engaged in small talk. The pumpkin bread was absolutely delicious and gosh look at the thickness of that slice. We had go get a second slice 😋 We love supporting small local businesses when we travel, and found this place via google search. Definitely recommend trying them.

The experience of this coffee place is awesome. Love the atmosphere and the vibe it gives. most places burn my tongue because how hot it is, this is the perfect temperature and I got the Criminal coffee which is extremely tasty.

This review is for whoever implemented a one refill policy on your drip coffee as the rest of my experience was wonderful. What's an extra refill cost you? Pennies? Not that it will matter to you, but you've motivated me to spend my money elsewhere. I only visit Standpipe during the holidays because I'm not often in East Texas anymore, but I've always enjoyed working remotely at Standpipe because the WiFi is reliable, the people are friendly, and the coffee is great. No one has ever questioned my requesting a 2nd refill until this visit, and the incredibly polite, apologetic barista advised me I would be required to pay for an additional refill, today. Previously, I would always put a 2-dollar bill in the tip jar on each visit to the register. Typically I end up tipping 6 dollars worth of 2-dollar bills as 3 cups of coffee is typically where I cut myself off. I'm not much for recreational heart palpitations. Today, I was proceeding as I normally would until I was advised I would not be afforded a 2nd refill without paying another almost 5 dollars to enjoy more drip coffee. I likely would have enjoyed lunch here as well, but I'm electing to take my business elsewhere. I have no delusions that I am but a drop in the bucket and my review bears little weight, but what would the cost of an additional refill have been to you?

Second time going, first time was 11/13 and the redbull recharger I got tasted great but the service wasn’t too great, as a ex-barista you at minimum supposed to greet the person, but when I got to the register all I got was a blank stare and even waited to see if she was ready to take my order she just get a dirty look until I said something. Today 11/14 I thought I’d try something else and got a dirty Dr Pepper with two shots of espresso and cold from, it tasted okay until I got a bit of grinds in my mouth and saw how much was in the cup too. Thought the atmosphere was cool but wish the environment of people were nicer.
