I am greeted with a smile at the entrance. I told the lady I was alone and wanted to have a place that was less crowded. She immediately arranged a corner high table seat along the pavement for me. It's an excellent seat. Claudia really knows what her guests need. The waiter José is very helpful in explaining the dishes to me. Both of them speak very good english and regularly check whether I need anything. Claudia also arranged homemade chips for me. Yummy! I am very impressed with the service.

This place could be considered “touristy” but good was fantastic and service was top notch. Hats off to the gracious Dominican hostess and our own Cuban-Catalan manager whose recommendations were on point. Prices are fair considering its location right by La Puerta de Alcalá. Portions are big and you can even take the leftovers if you like.

Tomamos algo en la terraza en el primer día soleado de este invierno de Madrid. Estaban hasta arriba así que ni limpiaron la mesa y tuvimos que entrar a pedir porque no atendían fuera. Tomamos una cerveza y nos fuimos, tapear allí era imposible este sábado... El lugar es precioso y el ambiente vitalista y divertido. La ubicación maravillosa. Habrá que volver a ver si tenemos mejor suerte.

I visited just over a year ago for dinner. This was my mum’s favourite restaurant in Madrid when we visited. Specifically because of the Medallón de Solomillo con Foie. It was excellent and she recommends it to just about every friend that had been curious about the trip. The pricing is on the slightly higher end. Pictured in the review is the dish mentioned above. I felt it was a fairly generous portion and reasonably priced for what it is. Though, I do agree with another reviewer that it is sometimes difficult to gauge portion sizes of the various menu items at the restaurant. The service was neither good nor bad. We observed that the restaurant was very busy around the new year. It is also understandable during a dinner service for servers to take a while to seat guests and take orders. Definitely get a reservation ahead of time.

Cool place, nice location , I loved their sangria , got very crispy calamari was tasty, and we got Pan Bai De Cardeo was tasty and bit sweet loved it. Potions of appetizers are extremely small for the price but the taste is good. Waiters are soo busy so it takes some time to order or ask for anything but they are open. I would definitely come back here. Beautiful patio also

My hotel in Madrid was 2 blocks from this restaurant, so I ate there twice. They have a cool vibe and also put the sport matches on their TVs. The food was very good. I tried the batatas bravas, ham croquettes, and the octopus (pulpo). All dishes were excellent. The servers are friendly and work as a team. Prices are reasonable, nothing crazy. They have a lot of outdoor seating, which overlooks the famous Puerta de Alcala, which is beautiful. Definitely recommend.

A beautiful bar and patio in a vibrant neighborhood in the heart of Madrid. Opened in 2018, it’s decor and charm are more reminiscent of older times. The décor is amazing. The restaurant offers many types of seating and the bar area inside is very comfortable and inviting. The large patio is always a great option to people watch and enjoy the weather all at once. The staff are great… knowledgeable and courteous.

El lugar es súper lindo y tiene un gran ambiente! Las tapas no son las mejores pero vale la pena, enfrente de la Puerta de Alcalá y con muchos detalles que vale la pena conocer el lugar

Local enorme y precioso, con una terraza amplísima y muy bien decorada, con estufas que dan un calor que casi parece verano. Hay mucho ambiente y, estando al lado de la Puerta de Alcalá y del Parque del Retiro, la ubicación es un 10 de 10. Mucho ambiente joven y muy agradable. Pedimos unos churros que, la verdad, estaban muy ricos y a un precio muy razonable para el sitio en el que estamos. En resumen, un lugar muy recomendable para pasar un rato tomando algo.

Mi experiencia en la terraza fue bastante irregular. Por un lado, la camarera que me atendió al principio ni siquiera dio las buenas noches y además , tiró la copa con un gesto que transmitió bastante desprecio. Ese tipo de actitud no es aceptable en un trabajo de atención al público, y menos aún cuando después vi que atendió a otra mesa con mucha amabilidad. La coherencia en el trato es fundamental y no hay excusa para tratar mal a un cliente. Por otro lado, quiero destacar lo positivo: El chico que nos atendió después fue muy profesional, atento con todas las mesas y con un trato impecable. Su actitud marcó una diferencia enorme y merece ser reconocido. En resumen: Una experiencia con luces y sombras. Ojalá todo el personal mantuviera el nivel de profesionalidad del chico, porque realmente elevó la calidad del servicio 👌

Fuimos hace 2 años, somos de argentina. Por error pedimos una jarra de sangría blanca de ....3 litros!!! Éramos solo dos, estaba tan exquisita que lo que sobró lo llevamos y seguimos en el hotel!!! Por ser una hora pico hubo demoras pero los camareros se disculparon y nos obsequiaron porciones de tortilla increíble. Volveremos este año en Mayo, saludos.

Stopped for a bit to eat. Food was OK but overpriced. They also added a 10% service charge to the bill and we ate inside. Skip this place.

La verdad es que ha sido bastante decepcionante. La camarera que nos atendió al principio parecía estar distraída todo el tiempo. Para compartir pedimos las croquetas de berenjena y parmesano y las alcachofas con foie. No solo nos trajo croquetas de jamón primero, sino que a los entrantes les faltaba sal. Bueno, a toda la comida en general le pasaba lo mismo. Lo único que se salvó fue el foie de las alcachofas. Pedimos después el medallón de carne, que después de 40 minutos nos lo trajeron frío con la salsa endurecida. 32€ por un medallón que no solo era pequeño, sino que estaba frío y estaba soso. Menos mal que el camarero que nos atendió después estaba mas espabilado porque sino… En cuanto al sitio en sí, es muy bonito de ver, combinando la arquitectura y arte del sur español con las estética moderna. Ideal para distraerse por tan decepcionante servicio y comida.

La ensalada realmente más pobre que una del Mercadona, ni la tocamos. Todo por 104€ Sólo iría para tomarme unas cañas por la localización.

This is the worst place since we’ve been in Spain. Bad food, bad service and so expensive. Just avoid it and look for something else.

Creí que se llama el "Patio de Ladrones" En barra, de pie, una San Miguel de barril (no premium) 5,50 EUROS y un vermut Martini Rosso de botella, el mas normalito de los vermuts 7 EUROS, sin chorrito de ginebra ni nada, solo con hielo, 12,50€, ni un mísero aperitivo... pues eso, cambiaros el nombre por el EL PATIO DE LADRONES. Respondiendo a su contestación el vermut fue echado directamente de la botella como he dicho junto a unos hielos, no era "su elaboración", no llevaba más por eso me pareció un robo, así como la cerveza de barril.

He visitado este lugar un par de veces y normalmente ha estado bien, pero mi última experiencia fue decepcionante. La camarera que me atendió mostró una actitud prepotente: al servirme una copa, se quedó con la mitad de mi refresco y me dijo que “yo pago por la copa, no por el refresco”. En otros sitios siempre ponen la copa y añaden lo que queda del refresco. Su compañero tuvo que intervenir para que finalmente me sirviera la bebida correctamente. La actitud de esta chica fue muy desagradable y arruinó la experiencia.

Hicimos una reserva el sábado 4/10/25 para 5 personas a las 22:00, JAMÁS nos comentaron absolutamente nada que las mesas interiores se quitan para hacerlo bailable, siendo las 23:00 no nos dejaron pedir ni otra de sangría ni culminar connningun postre, la camarera nos trajo la cuenta sin pedirla, a echarnos porque nos teníamos que levantar de la silla y nosotras ENGULLENDO la comida con prisas, sentimos una presión fatal había un descontrol increíble porque nos estaban echando con una cuenta de casi 250€ pero ni se habían percatado que nos nos habían ni cobrado, fuimos muy decentes porque la camarera nos dice: necesito que se levanten ya de la mesa, a lo que le digo vale pero no nos has cobrado y ella responde: Ay lo siento se me ha olvidado (siendo otras personas nos vamos sin pagar tranquilamente y ya te digo yo que ni se enteran) pagamos en efectivo y nos levantó de la mesa , nos hizo esperar de pie el cambio, una falta de respeto total, nos dejó muy mal sabor de boca JAMÁS te dicen que se recoge la sala interior antes de las 23:30 ni se como admiten reservas para cenar a las 22:00 cuando solo te dan un Margen de comida de 1 hora. No lo recomiendo

Es una pena porque la ubicación es Excelente y el ambiente también pero el servicio es pésimo. 30 minutos desde que haces el pedido hasta q sirven la bebida. El picoteo, ni lo sacaron. Pedimos la cuenta y nos añadieron los calamares que nunca sacaron después de 1h. La camarera, cuando le dijimos que no nos cobraran los calamares porque no los habían sacado, nos dijo, de muy malas formas, qu no era su culpa. Que ella no era la que nos había atendido. En fin… a 6€ una caña algo más de atención se espera.

If there’s an option to rate zero star I would do without hesitation for this restaurant. Please avoid it at all cost. First, the service was the worst I experienced whilst in Madrid. The waitress team was rude and arrogant. There is one girl who’s having her phone hanging at the side of her shoulder and carrying it the whole time. If you want to have your phone all the time just don’t bother to come out to work in hospitality. there is no single smile at their face at all. Also, they couldn’t speak any English at all which makes the food ordering extremely difficult. We even needed to remind them that they forgot about our beer. Second, you can see from the bill, a bottle of water is €6 and a glass of normal beer is €10. We were so shocked at the prices. We stayed at many luxury hotels with greatest service before and the prices are not that crazy. Third, while eating, there are so many birds eating the bread crumbs at the table next to us. Where are we dining? A market? This is the worst expensive I had in Madrid. Tourists, avoid this restaurant.

I wonder how these places survive??? I found the answer in this Resto, they simply feed on tourists who are transitory. The food is below average, the service doesn’t exist and the cocktails are super overpriced. We have to cancel 3 orders because they never got them after an hour of waiting.
