We spent a weekend at this wonderful hotel to celebrate a special occasion, and everything was simply perfect. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with great attention to detail and a truly relaxing atmosphere. What really made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff — their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care went beyond the expected to make sure we had an amazing time. Every interaction felt warm and personal. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish, and we can’t wait to come back. A truly wonderful hotel that makes every moment special.

I stayed at the Ritz in Madrid some time ago for business, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with impeccable attention to detail and warmth. The hotel itself is stunning, a perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern comfort. My room was beautifully appointed, with luxurious touches and an incredible level of cleanliness. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh orange juice, which was fantastic. The dining experience throughout my stay was exceptional. The location is ideal as well, right in the heart of Madrid, making it easy to explore the city’s rich culture and attractions. What stood out the most was the staff, who were consistently attentive, professional, and very good at making every interaction feel special. They truly go above and beyond. This is without a doubt one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. I would recommend the Ritz Madrid to anyone seeking true luxury and an unforgettable stay.

The venue team in charge of my wedding was absolutely phenomenal! They set up everything exactly how I described and were always very accommodating to my requests and helped me accomplish my dream wedding. The day of the wedding the staff was so professional and managed the schedule wonderfully! And the hotel room was decorated with complimentary champagne & treats before the wedding and again with additional “just married” decor after the wedding which was such a thoughtful surprise. I’m so glad we chose this venue for our wedding and would highly recommend!

Overall beautiful hotel... wonderful and pituresque in a perfect location. We had a beautiful deluxe room, and the quality and service was outstanding. The food and drinks were also fantastic, and John at the lobby Bar was the star of the stay. We did have one issue with the outdoor patio, with ZERO service after ~25 from being seated. - even AFTER asking for assistance ~15 into our wait.. The team did apologize and made up for it, but John and the team in the main bar took much better care of us.

Our stay was excellent. The service and attention was wonderful. They were attentive to all our needs. We are 2 parents and 2 teenage daughters and everybody agreed that the staff was exceptional. Breakfast was always fresh, and of excellent quality. Staff was always smiling and friendly and accommodating. We were always greeted with a wonderful smile and the concierge was absolutely outstanding. Gave excellent restaurant recommendations and places to see and what to do. Jesus, Olga and the others were always happy to help us, even with teenager high demands for shopping! Rooms were always impeccably clean and well serviced. They made our stay a wonderful and memorable experience. We will be back! Thank You MO Madrid.

1. We had the included breakfast every morning for our 5 day stay. Breakfast was served until 11am each morning and we would arrive around 10:15am. Most of the tables by that time were covered in dirty dishes and there were piles of dirty dishes on trays all over the restaurant - some mornings we had to sit in the atrium because all the tables were dirty. It was very unhygienic and really unpleasant to sit looking at trays of dirty dishes. The servers seemed very distracted and overwhelmed and obviously there is not enough staff to bus the tables. You need more staff at breakfast! 2. 3 of the 5 days we were there our suite was not cleaned after we had left for the day and informed the front desk that the suite was ready to be cleaned. Not nice to return in the early evening to a suite that has not been cleaned. Housekeeping was very nice but seemed overwhelmed and confused.

The hard products are well done. Service can be a mixed bag. But I have to give credit to the doormen for their wonderful service and the reception for explaining to me about the facilities. Restaurant for a lack of better word seems chaotic from my observation. But nonetheless it was still ok. No issues with the food. I can't remember the people who served me but they did a wonderful job in making my stay comfortable.

Just wow! Hotel is great and most comfortable. I always love the attention to detail at the MO hotels. Knocked off one star because I was woken up the first night by someone having a party in a room near me. Even on other nights, the noise of people speaking while walking in the corridor would carry. Once doors are shut though, the problem goes away.

Went for Sunday Lunch… Not impressed!!! The hotel is beautiful, the service is amazing… and although the food was good and good quality, it wasn’t what I would expect from a Sunday lunch… thought the price was too high for what is offered… needs more food options… not really worth the price.

The hotel is located on a beautiful historic building. That is about the only good thing about this place. Everything else fails to live up to the basic standards of cleanliness and customer service. The rooms lack ventilation, this includes the shower rooms, because of this, combined with lack of disinfection and cleaning, the showers absolutely reek of mildew and mold. Entire floors are engulfed in this nauseating smell, especially in the mornings. My shower clearly not been cleaned as I was greeted with a wall encrusted in hair. Mandarin oriental seems to have had no learnings from their pre-covid lax housekeeping exposé. The concierge desk staff was downright rude when I asked them a question. The entire place is chaotic and badly run. Honorable mention to the doormen and luggage handlers as they were the only ones who seemed to care about anything. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.
