I stopped at this location for the first time. I was amazed at how quickly that I got my order as there were about 10 cars in front of me.

My friend and I had a roast coffee and an iced caramel macchiato coffee ☕️ and both were delicious 😋 .

Go here for lunch often and never had an order wrong before. Staff is always friendly and pleasant.

Anita deserves an A+ for making smiles. My daughter turned 3 today and she wanted to eat at McDonald's and get the Unicorn 🦄 as all day (and all month) has been Unicorns. Anita went above and beyond to check every box to help make a 3yr old girls' day perfect! I called 7 other locations, and none of them gave me more than 10 seconds. Anita stayed on the phone with me for 10 minutes, checking every box while assisting customers at the same time. Anita is a great example of McDonald's core values. Thank You!

Food is always hot and amazing, i mean cmon it's mcdonald's. but the staff is also superb. every girl that i have ever seen work the drive through is amazing. The girl that's at the window every night is awesome! She's very kind and makes sure everything gets to you quickly, and since she's so quick, the line is always short. I've noticed that most of the other people cannot keep up.

If you haven’t been to this McDonald’s your really missing out this is honestly the best establishment I’ve ever been to I was thinking about getting married in the parking lot and the people there are amazing #pacdons4life

We all know, or at least HOPE FOR, similar experiences at this huge food franchise, correct? I'm happy just knowing I still have one nearby. They have consitantly provided good service, always polite, hard working staff, it's clean, and modernized. What more could you want? They must be doing something right because they're always very busy. Keep up the good work.

We came Friday evening around 6pm. It was Really Busy. We had ordered using the mobile app right when we arrived and brought our baby in - luckily there was one table left!! We chatted with some other women and waited for our order to be made. Everything was excellent but we did ask for a new French fry order because it wasn't hot but overall 5 stars- especially for the staff!

Went with my son and Mom for a quick meal. To be honest we only have visited McDonald's once or twice in the last year. The time before this we were in Brooklyn and had a terrible experience at the McDonald's on Meeker avenue. The food was gross. This more recent visit to McDonald's in Mahopac was like night and day. We all really enjoyed our food. It reminded me of the guilty pleasure fast food stops I had when I was younger. I had a burger, nuggets and fries. My son a Happy meal. I used the McDonald's app which offered a 50% off coupon. We couldn't believe it! We all ate very well and only paid around $10 to $12 for everything. After our visit in Brooklyn I thought I would never go back to McDonald's. I am so happy we gave it one more shot. I even got a coffee for the ride home that was delicious. Thumbs up all around.

The only bad thing I have to say is get the buttermilk chicken tenders back those were amazing I can't believe there gone. Great service very kind people, Get my Breakfast burritos when I can. I am disabled and can't drive. they're more than happy to give them to me throughout the day and evening, I add to them, As you can see and then I roll up and bake for 3 minutes.

An occasional fast food treat. Drive through can get busy, so going inside is sometimes quicker.

Fast service, clean establishment and bathrooms are not scary like some other places.

I come here quite a bit, sadly they sometimes get the order wrong. I also have some minor difficulty with using the app here

Food usually good. The drive thru is a bit slow. However the one night my partner and I decided to go in, the cashier had no idea what was going on. Gave a coupon and they were completely lost. I’ll chock it up to a fluke, though a member who had clocked out for the night had to help the gentleman. Yikes.

This McDonalds is NOT open 24/7 on any of the days they claim to be. And on Sundays they open at 6am. Otherwise, when I come here during the day, the employees are nice and they seem very organized. If you are short on time though, I would not recommend coming. This McDonalds is very busy and if you go to the drivethru, 95% of the time they will ask you to pull into a parking space and wait for someone to come out to bring your food.

This location has just reopened from being remodeled. Everything is brand new inside and out. Looks like a nice sitting area inside but its closed obviously due to covid. Staff was friendly. The food was ok. The drive-thru setup they changed by moving the order screen and adding an additional window. However I don't think its any easier and think they could have made it better since they were starting from scratch. Overall its an update that was much needed.

It's McDonald's. I suppose it's better than average but not by much. The food was hot and quickly served. The store is clean. The woman behind the counter barely concealed her disdain for the world in general. But like I said, it's McDonald's not the Ritz.

No soda machines! The food is always fresh though. When they reopen the soda machine I will give this McDonald’s the 5 stars.

This particular location is just okay, was in the mood for a quick bite . Do not expect food to be hot food, the food is never hot oh, I've been here a few times over the years and it's the same thing but I think this might be the last time. The best McDonald's is the location in Carmel, New York. They really need work on the Food Service because, luke warm or cold food is never good.🙄

Just handed my meal at the drive thru window. Asked, "Hi, is there ketchup in there 🙂?" Employee says "Yes". Handed bag, open bag. No ketchup. Why say "yes", when you did not? Worse, no apology, here's some ketchup, or visual acknowement, just threw some in my bag 😐. Just some minimal customer service here would be nice, just the minimum. Food is fine though.

Okay so really good service and pleasant employees. However..... can they ever get an order correct?? Lol. Check your bags before you leave. If I had a French fry for every time I left with something missing firm my order, I would have a large fries. Mmmm large fries. (Checks bag) they forgot them again!

Ordered a Big Mac meal and couldn't find the meat in the sandwich 🙃. Now I remember why I don't go there anymore.

Tell my a bagel with cheese and one slice of bacon cost 4 dollars and change. That is ridiculous. If it is going to cost that put another slice or two of bacon.

Don't go there after 8:30pm on a weekday unless you like the smell of freshly mopped floors. Their porter stood next to our table while we ate after mopping the entire restaurant. Keep in mind that the "dining room" is open until 11pm.

This McDonald's is just not organized as yet! Confused people taking orders..orders going back for wrong items..and food not up to par. For example..their crispy chicken sandwich is not even comparable to Popeyes crispy chicken sandwich..which is superb! Wasn't impressed at all with McDonalds.

It could be a lot better. Yes, it is convient for me to grab a quick bite, but my order is constantly messed up and never fixed. Also, there is constantly drunk teens around, a few with no socks or shoes running around the place.

The McDonald's in Mahopac is a hot mess I've GM'ed fast casual restaurants most of my career and this place was great after they reopened but since then I have not been able to go back and have even ok service in my last 3 visits I haven't received my full complete order once and when I questioned it I was looked at like I messed up sorry McDonald's franchise Mahopac you lost a customer. Train your staff better

Man with large truck was parked and partially blocked drive thru, not realizing it. He came in to order. While on line MANAGER OR POSSIBLY OWNER OF MCDONALDS WENT ON TIRADE DROPPING F BOMBS AND SCREAMING AT THE GUY. Customers eating lunch were mortified. This manager was completely unhinged and out of line. I’M APPALLED AND WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. This manager should be fired. This is how you run a business? McDonalds should be embarrassed. This Mahopac NY McDonald's post that they are a 24 hour location. This is a LIE! I had to go to work early and decided to go to this McDonald's at 1:45am. All LIGHT OUT! There was No one in the drive through to take an order and all doors locked. I would have had something at home to eat if they didn't LIE! Now I have nothing to eat and have to get to work. Shame on this location. Tell the truth...

The Oriental girl that took my order in the drive thru is rude and she makes you feel like you are bothering her. I asked her if they were selling burgers at the time and she rudely said it's still morning not lunch! I had gone to order at the drive thru and ordered breakfast sandwich, when it was lunch time I came back and ordered a BigMac fries and a Coke. You can order a single small fry here and they will make you wait in the drive-through parking spots for ten minutes. Truly it does not matter how much or how little you order, they definitely wont have it to you in any sort of reasonable time frame for a FAST food chain.

Coffee was good, I had to order it black.. I can't have dairy, and they don't offer almond or oat milk. They don't cater to food allergies, so there's nothing for me

I ordered an ice coffee with little amount of milk and the girl handed me what looked like milk in a cup of ice with a dash of coffee. I explained exactly how i wanted it and again she did the same thing. Again I had to explain it again and this time the manager was standing next to her listening. The girl slammed the drink down and walked to the back and started sweeping. I said to the manager arent you going do something about that? Then the manager pretended not to know what happened. She asked another girl to do it who just walked away what asking me how I wanted it, meanwhile I was trying to get her attention to tell her how I wanted it and she was ignoring me on purpose. Once again it was wrong. I said, listen Im not trying to be difficult but you had no idea how I wanted it and explained it again I had to explain and she finally got it right. I then complained to the manager that these girls need to be reprimanded for their behavior. She gave me the typical non-caring mono tone response. I said if you are going to provide a service to prepare coffee drinks you should at least prepare it how the customer wants it or take it off the menu. That was the worst service ever. The date of event was September 15, 2018 at 2pm.

This McDonalds is on a bicycle touring trail but they are very anti bicycle. I tried to start day two of my tour with a stop here and I brought my bicycle into the large and mostly empty McDonald’s and tucked it into a corner and went to order. The manager at the counter YELLED at me as I was trying to order from her to get my bicycle out. They don’t have bicycle racks and bikes get stolen. Not to mention my loaded panniers. I’ve never had a problem in any business asking if I can leave my bicycle x y or z when it’s loaded for a tour. But this McDonald’s somehow is the exception? And they waited til I was ordering? No thanks. If you’re on the Empire State trail touring try the diner nearby.

They always forget to put cheese on stuff when I ask for it and I have to pay more for it on my receipt. What is going on here? This place is absolutely terrible. Where should I begin, first of all they have litterly only Hispanic works that don’t know how to speak English what so ever. Which should just not be the case considering majority of the customers are English speakers. And when u ask for assistance they don’t know how to communicate. Second off for a “fast” food service it took well over 15 minutes to get the food and it’s not even busy. This place needs to get new ownership asap.

I lived near this McDonald’s for 5 years & let me tell you they never fail to disappoint! Whether I order mobile order, drive thru or dine in. The manager is very rude. The language barrier may be the biggest issue from the cashiers down to the manager! When they mess up your order they either can’t comprehend what you’re saying or straight up just don’t care because they seem to mess up again! By far the worst McDonald’s. Also says they are 24 hours and they are NOT!

I ordered 2 cheeseburgers through the drive-thru. One of the burgers had what appeared to be old sesame seeds (I hope they were sesame seeds) embedded into it. It looked old and disgusting, definitely not something that should ever be served.
