This place is a dive bar, and I mean that in the best possible way. From listening to people chat at the bar, it's definitely a local hangout in an area of upscale shops and restaurants. Don't expect table service. You order at the bar and burgers are cooked to order. The burgers and juicy and messy, just as a burger should be. Great Burger! Especially for a dive bar! Was juicy and cooked perfectly. I liked the place although I went midday and most of the people in there looked like retired people who like to get their day drink on. Great service. Location is awesome and right around the corner from the beach and pier. Would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone when they ask for awesome places in Manhattan Beach. Next time I want to check it out in the evening and maybe a night during the weekend.

I came here because Reddit proclaimed this as the best burger in the South Bay. Their burger menu is fairly simple like In n Out - one or more patties, cheese or without - though they do offer a hot dog burger, and as a sign tells you, they do not offer fries, just chips as a side. While I wouldn't say Ercole's is the clear-cut best burger in town, it definitely has one of the best.

Dan and Ian provided exceptional service. Courtney was great as well. This is legit the best damn bar on this beach. The food is affordable and the drinks are STRONG. It’s rare that you will find customer service this good. Will definitely be back

Great bar! We felt at home right away. There was a very nice group of locals when we went in. Stiff drinks at a good price. Make sure to buy a seashell, it goes to a good cause

A nice selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. Watch sports, play pool/billiards, hang out with friends, have a PTA meeting,etc. As we were leaving, the local ladies, all meeting together Sunday night, were super friendly and waved hello/goodbye. Fun place.

Juicy, salty, perfect. 3 star service and atmosphere is not a dig but no dive bar should get higher. Leave your pretence home, cone enjoy a beer and a burger with friendly, fun locals. 4/5, I got the burger because I smelled it from the street and I wasn’t disappointed. It was definitely good but simple. The bartender/cook was nice. However, the bathroom was extremely rundown. I think the Simmzy’s burger outclasses this one for sure and for a only a few more dollars.

Indoor dining only, no outdoor options available. Metered street parking is available. Credit cards are accepted but there’s a slight discount if you pay with cash. You order at the bar (no table service available). On Tuesdays, they have taco Tuesday where you can get 3 tacos for $8. You can get beef, chicken, or veggies and the tacos come with a side of salsa and sour cream. The meat was tasty, though the veggie option was good as well. You have various options for drinks. There is a pool table in the back. There is a communal table in the middle as well, where you could hang out

Good spot to hang out with friend on a week day. Was there last thursday night and it had a full house. No place to sit for about 10 minutes...but the wait was worth it. We ordered that day's special 2 for 1 burguers, had 10 orders infront of us but so while we waited we had a couple of beers and some tequila shots so when our orders were ready we were getting hungry...just in time! Good service from the bartender!

Lousy burger. Overcooked. Soggy bun. Took 20 minutes to get the burger. Lot of old geezers in there. No fries. Terrible parking.

Literally was one of our favorite local bars. Grew up going here. Today got assaulted when we walked in after the protest. The owner let his friend put his hands on girls and push them out of the bar. We were told to show ID, a valid request. Then tried to gaslight us that that even happened. You can ask for our IDs. You cannot let your friends touch patrons and push them out. You can also respectfully ask us to leave if you don’t want us in.
