Literally the best baby bbq ribs of my life, the service amazing, fast, I really recommend this restaurant.

Had a great time today eating with the wifey and great friends. First time eating here. Great food, I ordered a burger packed with 4 different meats. Yummy!!! 😋 Friendly staff, great service, and good prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been to many different Wood Ranch locations and this Manhattan Beach one is one of the nicest that I’ve seen. This chain is always really consistent and I feel the price to quality ratio is fair and is really good for people of all ages. This one is in a shopping center so there is plenty of free parking attached right in front. Inside is very large, they have many different seating areas, as well as a large bar, which was playing NFL games during our Sunday evening visit. Many people order to go from here, but we stopped in for dinner to dine in. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. One of the highlights of this place is the complementary garlic bread biscuits that you get. It reminds me a lot of the Cheddar Bay biscuits you get at Red Lobster, it’s hard to resist eating just one. We started our meal with the Shredded Onions and really liked them. They’re basically like onion strings and tasted a lot like a blooming onion. It was a great start to the meal. For my dinner, I chose the Full Slab of the Baby Back Ribs and honesty loved them. I think the ribs here are better than Chili’s and I would also say they are better than Texas Roadhouse. Overall Wood Ranch is always a solid recommendation and I plan to be back again many times in the future.

I haven’t been to Wood Ranch in years and it still doesn’t disappoint. The Manhattan Beach location was amazing. Walking in and sitting at the bar while waiting for our table was perfect. The Baseline: For a sit down chain BBQ restaurant the bbq meats must be quality/tasty, the sides need to be a good accompaniment to the meats, the smoke flavor must be present, drinks should be stiff, service should be efficient, and the restaurant should have character. Food: Woodranch is a good, decent BBQ place that serves its meats with a proper amount of smoke/char/flavor. Tri Tip is the go to meat to order but you won’t go wrong with the other meats. The sides are flavorful and make sense with the mains. Drinks are good and stiff enough for my palate. This fulfills my BBQ fix though I always long for places I used to eat in the South. Service: The staff always provides good, efficient, and quality service. Our waiter Dre did an excellent job. I always had water in my glass. Ambiance: Woodranch has a particular style and this location is no exception. Comfortable seating and the lighting adds to the environment. Extremely clean bathrooms. Update: 8/11/2025 Food: I had Tri-Tip in its smoked 10-oz goodness that satisfied my want/need/desire for protein. The baked potato was good with just butter and sour cream (you can get it loaded but it is fine when simply dressed) and the baked beans (sweet and spicy). I also had roaster cauliflower and a peach bourbon cocktail that was good. Raspberry margarita was also good. Service: The service on the night we came was good and friendly. It was at the end of the evening when the kitchen was closing so felt a bit rushed but that wasn’t the staff it was an operational issue because we were there at night. No harm/no foul. Ambiance: Woodranch style and character of a dark wood furniture and the smell of smoked meat in the air. Comfortable seating and clean bathrooms.

Our first experience at Wood Ranch was a good one. Service was friendly and prompt. Food came out quickly. My wife loved her crispy chicken sandwich and I loved the pulled pork and beef ribs. I thought the atmosphere was good for a mature date night. Classy, with low lighting and comfortable seating, private enough for quiet conversation.

Wood Ranch Manhattan Beach deserves 5+ stars! Nick was working the bar and serving the bar area and she was absolutely on the J-O-B — attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly. I ordered the BBQ chicken breast and smoked brisket with a loaded baked potato — perfection from start to finish. Pro tip: don’t fill up on those addictive garlic rolls before your entrée arrives… as hard as it is to resist. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a great vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

Place is clean, service was on point and the menu was large. I ordered the 2 meat plate - tri-tip, baby back ribs, mashed sweet potato, mac n cheese. Kids ate hamburger sliders, chicken tenders, broccoli. There's something for everyone.

I ordered the Caesar salad which was decent with big crunchy croutons and flavorful cheese. For my main course I ordered the beef ribs, which were covered in tangy barbecue sauce. The Meat was fall-off-the -bone tender. It was also very juicy and delicious. The baked potato was soft and satisfactory. The beans were kind of sour and didn’t taste that good. There were T.Vs everywhere and marble finishing on the wall. the light was dim and the ambience was on point. The service was fine, serving our food on time and refilling our waters every so often. Overall, I definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Went on a Friday night with the kiddos and was pretty packed. That said, got seated super fast and the service was excellent. Food is great, I recommend the rib eye!

Popped into the new Wood Ranch in Manhattan Beach after spotting it on Yelp, and man, it did not disappoint! We’re huge fans of Wood Ranch from back when we used to be in the Arcadia location. Their Natalie Salad, tri-tip soup, baby back ribs, and those addictive garlic rolls are always a must for us. Ordered the same lineup here, plus the baby ribs and their famous shredded onion rings. Everything was on point—same great flavors, super consistent with what we know and love. The service was top-notch. Our server was friendly and on it, and the manager even swung by to check in and make sure we were happy. They hooked us up with some extra garlic rolls to take home, which was such a nice touch. The vibe is cozy with a cool, rustic feel—perfect for a laid-back meal. If you’re craving solid BBQ with great service, this spot’s a winner. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was great. But the wait time for getting our food after we order is too long. Unfortunately we won't be coming back to this location. Cerritos location is much faster. Our waitress was great.

Food was pretty good, service was a little slow; however, I could see that they were busy on a Saturday night. I still would have appreciated just 1-2 more check ins from the server. If not possibly the manager floating around to help? Just a recommendation.

WARNING!! I got the Natalie’s Salad, and I got food poisoning. This is the 2nd day and I’m still shooting greens in the can. They do not wash their greens properly, so eat at your own risk. I’m extremely disappointed because I brought my family from Ireland to experience “American” food, and now we are all sick.
