Always soft, squishy, and pipping hot bagels!!
Excellent service, friendly staff, fabulous variery of bagels, freshly made, and delicious too!
Great coffee and bagels. Excellent service from the friendly people. A must visit location.
Opens early for our convenience. Great selection of bagels and cream cheeses.
Tried the farmhouse bagel it was awesome! Coffee and service were excellent.
Very friendly helpful service and bagels are always good!
Staff was very courteous and friendly. The bagels were awesome!!
I'm still giving it 5 stars, but it was really noisy today. I couldn't hear my options when ordering a sandwich.
Best bagels 🥯 anywhere!! And a wonderfully friendly staff🙂
Can't wait till fully open so customers can sit down inside to eat.
Amazing bagels and the staff is always friendly and pleasant!
Be explicit when ordering.....confusion between Salmon spread and real smoked Salmon....= big price difference.
Great service. Delicious food. This is our neighborhood Bruegger's.
Love Bruedder's, never got a bad coffee or bagel here.
Love the bagels and sandwiches! Wish they had pumpkin year round!!!!
Clean, efficiently run, great staff and very good coffee and sandwiches.
Delicious bagels! Definitely recommend a breakfast sandwich!
Fast courtesy service. Best bagels around!
Great service Great bagels Great people
Great service by the staff on 8/13. Will be back!
Great place, amazing bagels, friendly workers
Great bagels,super service
They no longer allow sit down inside the building so it's to go only however I use this Brueggers location alot to get breakfast for meetings at work. Always on point with the orders. Fresh every order. Highly recommend this Location
Staff here is great. Even though the pace gets packed on the weekends, they work through the line efficiently and always get the orders right. Even though it's a little more pricey than other bagel places, it's worth it based on taste and experience.
We go to Manlius Bruegger's weekly (dare I say daily) - and the service is OUTSTANDING! I think his name is Joe (one of the workers or manager, not sure) and he is amazing. Always gives awesome service (as do the other workers too, but Joe stands out)! He even helps the other workers when needed and in such a kind way.The facilities are clean and the tables and floors are constantly being wiped and picked up. Great place that our whole family enjoys!! :)
Whenever I am in Manlius this is a must visit! Brueggers 🥯 are the finest I have ever had. Their honey walnut creme cheese - heavenly. Staff, friendly, well-trained and efficient.
The line was long, but whoever they had behind the counter blasted through people's orders like she was born to do it. It was real impressive and allowed me to enjoy a delicious sausage egg and cheese.
Always clean and well managed. Great bagels. Staff are consistently friendly and courteous.
I love Bruegger's Bagels. I miss the green olive cream cheese, but they have great bagels, coffee, and staff.
The farmhouse breakfast sandwich is so good, paired with french toast coffee is a great way to start the day, great selection, super friendly staff, and really fast service
The staff is very friendly, the food is great, and I prefer their coffee over the likes of dunkin and even starbucks.
Good bacon egg and cheese bagel. It would be nice if you had hot sauce packets like you have ketchup packets also
I have been trying to find a REAL bagel shop. Mostly no one does pumpernickel bagels. I went to Brueggers Bagels Bakery for the first time last week. I finally found the best place to get bagels. I made one with cream cheese for my husband at work and he loved them! They are so fresh and we were hooked. Thanks for what you do!
Great Bruegger’s location, very friendly employees and great food. Sometimes the order isn’t 100% correct, but that’s always due to new staff learning the ropes.
Absolutely the best bagel place in the area. Use this location though others do not compete.
Enjoy coming here for lunch. The staff is really great. There's one guy that's been there for a long time. I believe he is a manager. It's great to see the young ones grow and change and evolve. He's grown into quite the responsible knowledgeable employee. All very friendly bunch. Efficient.
I ordered breakfast and had it delivered through doordash today. And i rated the restaurant through the third party but i wanted to come directly on here to leave a review. Thank you for a perfect breakfast. Everything was made exceptional. Every bite was soft and comforting. I will be ordering again soon!
Quick service and friendly employees. Interior and parking lot have been redone. Pleasant atmosphere
Absolutely the best bagels in greater Syracuse area. I drive 45 minutes to get them. I get a dozen and freeze them. Can't say enough about how good and authentic the bagels are.
Amazing place, Great service and the best part, the bagels they put ultimate cream cheese and I can't describe the crunch. From how loud it is.I love this place and I love the bagels would recommend.
Great fresh bagels and fantastic sandwich options. Perfect for a Sunday morning. Thanks!
Absolutely recommend, soooo much better than other big bagel places, everything is fresh, and better quality food! Love this place
Hash brown bagels are the best. In a real cute part of town but make sure you only turn right when busy otherwise you will be there forever.
I know you are supposed to come for bagels but usually coffee and tea go hand in hand with a place like this. Very limited options for hot drinks
Love the turkey chipotle, add avacodo on a toasted 5 cheese bagel
Good bagel sandwith with fast service. I was happy.
The bagels were hot! A perfect morning..
Bagel sandwich was very good. Service was nice, quick and friendly. Coffee was not nearly as good as I was expecting and I thought it was a little pricey. Atmosphere was just ok. All in all, I would definitely return there.
Bagels are always tasty and fresh. Plenty of selection and fast service. I like the coffee more than most other coffee shops. Manlius location is not nearly as busy as Erie Blvd .
Great bagels. Multiple flavors to choose from. Love the asiago amd Parmesan and the 5 cheese bagel. Soft no matter what time of day.
My salmon bagel sandwich was perfectly made. Ice tea the best but the place is not the neatest and cleanest sandwich shop in Manlius.
The best Brueggers in the greater Syracuse Area. Nice remodel and love the ability to pour my own coffee.
I had the opportunity this morning to stop at my favourite bagel place. Bruegger's!! I visited this location all the time in highschool and even bought the lifetime coffee mug because I would stop in the morning on the way. This morning I grabbed the mug and was unexpectedly really excited about getting my free coffee again. I walked to the counter and was greeted by the expected polite workers there. When I ordered the coffee explaining I had my lifetime coffee mug, she didn't seem to know about it. When I saw the charge for it, I explained that should not be there. She couldn't get me my coffee without me paying for it, so I declined the request. My problem here is when I asked for a phone number to call, they had none to give me. I wanted to speak to someone to figure out why the employees didn't know about the "lifetime" mug. They were pleasant and directed me to the website, however the only numbers there are for the stores. Not much good those would do for me. If a customer needs help, and the store isn't educated to provide the customer with needed information, a definite problem exists. Not the employees fault, but management somewhere along the line obviously dropped the ball. I was embarrassed by trying to figure out why my lifetime coffee wasn't being honored. I knew nothing I said would make sense to someone who knew nothing about it. I was stuck in an awkward place. The proposed solution was to wait until the store manager comes into the store 2 days from now. That was at least some type of answer, but still didn't fulfill my coffee needs. Last I checked, I am still alive and should have my coffee instead of writing this. I am not impressed. The bagels on the other hand, still phenomenal as ever! ***UPDATE: It is now 2 days later and I had the chance to speak to the manager. After a detailed discussion, we discovered that the mug I have (Original Green One) is indeed "lifetime". Guess who has free coffee at Bruegger's again!! As far as my main concern goes. How do customers connect with someone other than store employees, when the employees don't have an answer? The current manager has told me he will look into it and find out if something can be done. I sure hope someone listens to his suggestions. This store is run by some excellent people. They are fun and ready to serve. It's Bruegger's just the way I remember it.
The bagels and sandwiches are delicious! The only problem was we had to wait 20 minutes for two bagels, they definitely need to have more staff on during the busy hours like Sunday morning.
Great bagel sandwich options and really tasty. Bagels are nice and soft so the bread doesn't take over the taste of the sandwich.
The bagels are always delicious and I enjoy the variety of flavors. But I don't think I should have to wait for 20 minutes after I ordered 2 bagels. Also, the seating/waiting areas are not that inviting. It feels like the store is more set up for pick up orders/ to go orders and not so much a eating there option.
I recently visited Bruegger's, a bagel chain located in New York. While I must admit that the bagels were just okay, there were a few redeeming qualities about the experience. Firstly, the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. They greeted me with a smile and were happy to answer any questions that I had. Additionally, the service was quite speedy, which was appreciated as I was in a rush. However, when it came to the bagels themselves, I must say that they were just okay. They lacked the chewiness and flavor that I have come to expect from a good bagel. They were a bit too doughy and didn't have the crispy exterior that I love. Overall, while the bagels at Bruegger's were just okay, the friendly staff and speedy service helped to make the experience more positive. I may return for a quick breakfast in the future, but I will likely look elsewhere for a truly great bagel.
1st time there today, ice coffee hazelnut was great even without sugar! The hashbrown was little undercooked still harder peices of potatoes but good flavor. Bagel 🥯 I got was plain with egg, ham and cheese. The egg had alittle too much pepper. Ham was pretty tasty and the bagel was good just hard to chew apart on the out side. Hot fresh and made to order very quickly. Nice people fair prices 👍
Do not care for checkout machines options for tipping
Good bagels friendly staff however it is a bit expensive, 1 buttered bagel and a coffee over $5.00.
The coffee was a little cold. The counter could have been a little cleaner
If you like flat, tough bagels, then you will like it.
Used to love this place, now I’m convinced the eggs are rubber. Where’s the passion
I had not been here in a long time so we stopped in last week on our way through. One thing that was a little concerning was the restroom... It was quite clear looking at the sink and toilet that it had not been cleaned in a long time ( by that I don't mean hours , I mean days ). Hopefully this was a fluke during the holiday season, not the norm...
Bagels are alright, certainly not the best I've ever had, and they're way overpriced for what they offer.
Still have great sandwich bagels, service OKyhe boy that waited on me never really looked at me seemed to be just going thru the motions and restaurant appearance and cleanliness not the greatest.
$17.24 for 2 bagels that are mostly air bubbles and below average cups of coffee. Nothing bad to say but nothing good either.
It's usually great, but I was given the wrong order on my last visit. It's the worst feeling when you open your takeout at the office.
Bagels are small and chewy. Not bad but not great. Cream cheese is decent.
The woman preparing the bagels was miserable. I had my twin 4 year olds and they wanted to pick their own bagels. I had to lift them above the level of the counter so they could choose. She loooked up and said, “Move down to the counter to order.” I responded with “Ok, they just like to pick out their own first.” She then said, “There is a list at the counter.” I had to remind her my 4 year olds don’t read and like to visibly see what they’re choosing. She was rude the whole while preparing our bagels. She did however add a pleasantry when dispensing our order, though it sounded sarcastic, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. The other workers were fine. Overall, it left us with a poor experience. If she’s having a bad day, I hope it gets better.
The food was pretty yuck. I got the smallest bagel of my life and slimey bacon. The atmosphere is really nice inside. Busy location for getting in and out, traffic wise but plenty of parking.
I love ordering from here, however the last two times I’ve ordered DoorDash I have been missing items from my order. Then when I call to let them know, no one answers the phone. A little frustrating truly.
I have enjoyed Bruegger’s for many years, but ever since they changed the way you order, my orders are usually wrong. It used to that you would tell the person who was making your order what you want. And they would almost always get it correct. Now, you tell the person at the register who keys it into a computer, which leaves so much room for error or misunderstanding. For example, I ask for a turkey BLT with mayo on the side (because I want control of how much) and spear pickles on the side. Instead, I get a turkey BLT with chipolte mayo all over it AND more on the side. I just wanted plain mayo. And the pickles are diced in a cup. Who eats pickles like that?? This is just one example. I have others. It was just the straw that broke the camel’s back, prompting me to finally leave a review. If the person who is going to make my food is standing right there, why can’t I tell them the order?? Makes no sense.
Overall, Bruegger's is better than Dunkin when it comes to bagels and sandwiches. The bagels are made fresh on site and there's a much larger selection of bagels, cream cheeses and sandwich ingredients. Pro tip: always order on the app. The app includes a free coffee with every order. Otherwise, the menu is overpriced. My main gripe, however, is that nearly 4 years since COVID, they still pour all the coffee behind the counter instead of allowing you to pour your own. This is the only Bruegger's in the area still doing this. When you order coffee, they provide a baggie with 3 tiny thimbles of cream, 3 packets of sugar and a wooden stirrer stick. They don't seem to realize this is a waste of their own money and creating needless waste - I don't take sugar in my coffee. And I typically like more cream than they give, so I still have to add my own at home, so it costs me more money. If I could pour my own, as was the case pre-pandemic, I'd pour the cream first (and as much as I wanted, not just 3 tiny thimbles) so I wouldn't need a stirrer. They also used to have more flavors of coffee, like French toast or vanilla. Now it's just regular, dark, and hazelnut. The Bruegger's on Erie Blvd reverted to letting people pour their own coffee 2 years ago, no reason for Manlius to keep holding out. I've said this on countless customer surveys they've emailed me and no response so I'm guessing this review won't change anything either but I'd go to this Bruegger's more often if they'd let customers get their own coffees again like they did in the past.
Not much special about this. Coffee is less bad than DD, but not by much.
Older lady at the register told me to tip more next time. Very unprofessional for an already overpriced bagel.
A lot of positive comments, but I have to say that our customer service was not the greatest. We had a large order for a sports team and the person we gave our order was borderline rude. Some items on the website were not available at this location. It was made to be our problem and not Bruegger’s. Painful experience, I hope the girls appreciate the bagels.
This used to be my favorite place to get a breakfast sandwich but they changed the type of egg they use. Went there this morning and they messed up our order my daughter ordered bacon egg and cheese and got just a plain bagel we didn't notice until we got home.
Bagels are great, but the other food they serve isn’t fresh. Staff is slow and not very friendly.
Here's an example of another location up to covid I was visiting the Manlius Bruegger's 5 to 8 times a week minimum. These days I would not give a spit for that location. The managers are rude as hell their bagels are so greasy and all of them no matter what type of bagel you get it tastes like garlic. I don't know where the passion for the flavor went but there's no way I'm going back there until they change.
Bruegger's used to be our go-to for bagels in Manlius. In my opinion, the store is woefully understaffed. I stood in line for a simple bagel and coffee for 20 minutes last week. I would love to see Bruegger's invest in the Manlius store to provide better service, quality of service and product received. Please update the store.
The bagels are great, but the staff....There is no real atmosphere, it looks like they don't want you to stay inside to eat.
I've been coming to Brueggar's for years and love their bagels. Now that I live out of state, I make sure to visit multiple times and get a bagel when I'm in town. However The past few times I've come when I visit hasn't been the best quality and service. I usually get multiple plain bagels with butter for my family. There either isn't enough butter or no butter at all. The staff, particularly management seemed almost annoyed when staff would confirm orders with them. For example the cashier asked their coworker for confirmation of receiving a order and the coworker (almost looked like management) very visibly stopped what she was doing and rolled her eyes at her. It felt really rude to be doing that to a coworker especially in front of customers. I would love to keep coming back but it's hard to when there is inconsistency in orders and treatment of staff. I hope this changes so I can keep enjoying the bagels!
First visit post-pandemic, very disappointed they had no brisket. I felt rushed to make my choice even though there were no customers behind us. The person who served us seemed quite unhappy with her job which left me feeling like a burden. The dining area was closed and not really maintained for cleanliness. Overall, very uninviting. Food was average.
Worst bagels. More like a dog’s chew toy. What a waste of money.
This used to be my go to place to get bagels and bagel sandwiches and over the last year ..It’s been horrible. The bagels aren’t like cooked the way used to be. They’re Smooshed.
Ila lady got pushed out of a chair today I was told and was told to leave I'm pressen charges the man was unkind DO NOT EAT HERE YOU OR YOUR KIDS MIGHT BE PUSHED OUT OF A CHAIR TO then the man told me to leave I asked for a refund and all the people that saw left I don't think there coming back I am just some I believe this all bc of the other bad reviews that go along with my claim cops where called do not eat here EVERRRRR YOU MAY REGRET PLUS THAY WANT 17.00$ FOR 2 BAGLES I MEAN COME ON
Most disrespectful people I have ever come in contact with. I called they put me on hold for 5 mins then hung up.I called back and they hung up my call each time I called in. I just wanted to let them know of a removal of an item on my doordash bagel and they couldn’t give me there 2 mins of time. I canceled my order because at this rate I do not want to give my money to a company that can’t give there time of day.
Showed up 10- 15 minutes before close to make sure i had enough time to be in and out before closing time and the people behind the counter claimed they were closing in 3 minutes and refused to actually make me anything. Lazy staff makes for a terrible experience.
Terrible and Rude Service for over priced, sub-par food. Went on a weekend but it was not busy at all. Was rushed through the line, with the feeling I was being processed and not served. Absolutely no thought or indication they were happy to help.
Avoid ordering on the app. Poorly designed. Tried to call the store for assistance. No answer during business hours. Someone answered after 3 tries. The app loaded twice the amount of my order on the app. No way to get my funds back. Very frustrating.
Every order we place here either items are wrong or missing entirely. The staff especially Bailey at the counter offers no customer support. The only response we ever get is “sorry theirs nothing we can do” working in retail management personally I’d at least offer a sincere apology and do what I could to make it right to the paying customers. We understand mistakes are made but to offer 0 effort to correct the mistake is unacceptable to me. Will not be back and will refer anyone we contact elsewhere.
On Friday (Halloween), I had some time to kill before a dr. appt so I stopped in because I really like the Bruegger's in N.Syracuse and on the Blvd! This is my first time at this location. Sadly, it was not a good experience. The young lady took my order and while I waited I went to get my coffee and the House Blend was empty. When I let the girl who took my order know came across as if I was bothering her. She then removes the empty container and it took several minutes for her to return with a fresh one and in the meantime my order got cold! So now I look for the creamer and another employee who was cleaning up a spill pointed to it...it was half and half...I told her that I wanted creamer. She insisted that it was creamer...but it was labeled 1/2&1/2. I told her out of frustration that this place really sucks and I would let someone know so here I am. As a 76 year old woman, I am very even tempered but this experience was truly disappointing! And it was not busy so that is no excuse!
This issue is not a reflection on the hard work of those filling orders—they truly put in tremendous effort. However, it's undeniable that the growing corporatization of this place has led to a significant decline in product quality.
This will now be the second time my job has ordered from there in a month and things were wrong or missing. Back in 4/18 we emailed a complaint about missing product and they never acknowledged anything. This time We called the night before, they were extremely rude in taking the order, tried to demand we do it online. We ordered 12 sandwiches, multiple drinks, blueberry muffin and a chocolate chip cookie. Multiple sandwiches were made wrong and the muffin and cookies were not in there. When I tried to call to to ask for a refund of some sort for the missing product I gave them the name and she claimed no one had ever been in under that name and that they never have missing product and maybe the person who picks up our food ate it or were lying about it. Very rude, very unprofessional in every way possible.
I must admit I have never posted a review before...so this is significant. I have been going to this Bruggers for almost 20 years. The first 10 were great, and this place has been declining ever since. Perhaps it has changed management at a certain point. The atmosphere is dismal at best. The workers, especially the cashier is rude and they make it seem like you're inconveniencing them when you're ordering. This happens every time no matter if it's the same person or not. Just the general vibe. I ordered a buttered plain bagel, was the only one in there, and it took 20 mins to get my bagel. The customer service is consistently painfully slow and lacking. I am unable to give my business to this location any more. There are plenty of other great bagel places in the area.
Not at all what I was expecting, I had been to this location before. The bagels were nearly flat, barely cooked through, the 5 cheese “bagel” was more or less flat bread. Couldn’t taste the cheese at all. Requested coffee with creamer and sugar, no sugar, we had to stop at a gas station farther along to get sugar for the coffee. For 15 dollars I was incredibly unimpressed. My partner got a “western” he let me know it was mediocre, bagel had little flavor, toppings were sparse.
