I'm so glad checkers opened up in the SoBro again. I missed thei Ice cream. Today I tried their funnel cake strawberry ice cream swirl, IT WAS SO GOOD, I WAS ABOUT TO LICK THE CUP. There goes my diet, but thank you for bringing summer back to the Bronx. I'm in ice cream Heaven!

Compared to every other fast food restaurant in the area, this restaurant knows how to cook and gets every part of your order correct. The staff shows they care and I appreciate that.

Nice clean joint. Friendly people. Cant stay in the restaurant more than 30minutes. New guy under training so service little slow. Might be in rough part of the city cause there were bullett proof glass divider. Overall good experience.

I always get the same thing a BANANA n CHOCOLATE milkshake ... Most of the time they'll end up getting it right but I have to watch because some how they'll give me something Completely different so that holds up the line ... I don't wanna act like a Karen but don't want my order messed up especially how prices are these days it's ridiculous ... All n all the foods great though

Its alot better then before. I'm happy it was remodeled. Plus the employees are amazing.

Considering the time, I was truly amazed to how good and fresh the food was. Place definitely needs police to stop by and clear the vestibule tho.

The professional staff is as great as the food. Need to do some housekeeping in the dining area but decent atmosphere overall.

No long lines fast service.people are selling drugs in the restaurant and some come in there to open the drugs and roll it and go outside to smoke.

Atmosphere dirt, and under construction. Food going down bad, service is so bad they will mop your table while you're eating

They don't offer the real checkers menu at this location. You don't have the chicken bites box with the sauce on top. 👎I have to get the sauce packets on the side. Meanwhile the two different sauces taste totally different. Unfortunately this is not the only difference just the only one to impact me. It really sucks too as I was getting excited to see this location open back up and be closer to my house. But it looks like I will have to continue going to 161 to get the real checkers experience.

Sorry but checkers has fallen off since they started to become more popular... I used to love going there not I just can't eat there anymore!!! And they always have people hanging out in front ... Makes it feel very unsafe to go there!!!

Thought I walked into a "Crack house"! Nothing but fiends & bums hanging out causing clutter,The food is like chewing on old bubble gum...in all honesty just shut this joint down and open up a drug rehab facility 💉

A homeless come in and asked the worker for a cup of ice and the worker was really mean to him so l say to the man give it to him that I would pay for it . And I also told him that you don't deny a plates of food to anybody .😕

Ordered the bacon double cheeseburger and a cheese burger , both were disgusting! What kind of meat is that? The bacon clearly smelled and was old. The patties weren't cooked thoroughly. The burgers seemed to be wet. What kind of condiments were used because it was slimy, even the cheese. So gross I will never order a burger from here again. Oh the fish sandwich is not good either. Salty with no flavor. Only thing good I ate here were the shakes, seasoned fries even though they are salty and the mozzarella sticks w/marinara sauce.
