The restaurant is really nicely decorated and clean. Makes you feel like you are on vacation. Nice Latin music playing i. The background. It has outdoor sitting in the front and back of the restaurant. I had the Carne Asada. The meat, rice, salad and plantain were really good. I didn’t like the beans at all. The yuca was good too. The food didn’t take long to be served. The meat and rice were beyond expectation. I really liked it!

So tasty! We had the Pollo Verde and the Sobrebarriga (think Columbian pot roast, the meat just fell apart). Both were outstanding, I kept stealing bites off my husband's plate :) The frozen lemondade was refreshing and not too sweet, and the flan had the perfect texture. The man working was also very nice and efficient.

Decent Colombian spot. One of the top ones I’ve tried so far.

My quest in search for an authentic Colombian restaurant lead me to La Maria Restaurant. However, I was a bit disappointed with their short list of dinner options. Despite this, our party of four ordered different drinks and plates hoping our tastebuds would be capitulated to our memories of the past. Unfortunately, we were all utterly disappointed. The food was very bland and the service was subpar. This place is more of a Colombian cuisine style restaurant instead of traditional authentic fare. The atmosphere is nice but not worth the trip in my opinion.

Food is good and tasty. I don’t like why they are not Colombian people, they don’t know what are you talking about when you ask Avout Colombian food. My wife order a Bistec a caballo and they did give us only a fried meat… no way…. The servers took too much time to serve you, to help you, to make food…. Everything delays a lot but they have been improving the food quality.

I wasn't happy with the horseradish they put on my chicken sandwich. I got sick right away. Be sure and ask for no dressing unless u like thousand island w a kick. Lol yikes. The bananas where good. My iced tea was old. I'll have to go back and order something else. I've heard such good things. :( the service was also very very slooow. I had to get up several times to ask for help. I sat outside.

Food was mediocre but my low score was because of service. Food wise, I just would complain about the spinach empanadas. I actually threw it away a bite in because the spinach was awful. It was almost rancid tasting. The other two kinds, chicken and beef, were nothing to write about. Meat, potatoes, and then fried. I didn't know what I was in for, but what I got was below any expectations I had. I got tacos as well, the two that are on the fast food menu. Tasted decent, portion wasn't bad, but nothing to call home about. Now my problem was in the ordering and pick up. I ordered ahead, thinking oh I'll be there in like fifteen to twenty minutes, then I'll be able to get in and get my food, no lingering. No. I get there, the lady looks at me like she had never heard of my order, goes to the back, and I assume that's when my order was put in. I then had to wait another 15 minutes for my food. Why order ahead if I'm going to just have to wait. For that reason I give my low score.

For an appetizer, we ordered plantains, and they were colder than my soul in the North Pole. Then I ordered chorizo ​​with arepa; again, the arepa was too cold, and the chorizo ​​was cooked on top but cold in the middle. I ordered sancocho, which was also too cold. in the pork bandeja paisa were undercooked. Then I reordered the plantains because my wife loves them, and I complained, asking if they could heat them up more. They sent me some reheated ones that looked like they were three days old.
