Beautiful interior, we sat at the bar. Service was excellent, and the food was fabulous. Started out with bread and a dipping sauce. Don't skip this! My husband had a steak, I had a salad with grilled chicken. It was so juicy and tasty. Took pictures of the interior but forgot to take pictures of the food. Highly recommend.
Where do I begin? Why go into Atlanta for an upscale Steakhouse when there is one right here in Cobb County? The ambiance is “crazysexycool” with dimmed lights and soft music playing while you eat! Food was fresh, made to order and seasoned perfectly. Our very lovely server Ms. Ayda (from Turkey) made excellent recommendations! She was extremely attentive and utterly the consummate waitress (understatements) The MOD Mr. Ege himself stopped by to see how things were and that our experience and expectations met our standards! Two words: Bravo Zulu! Salute! We will be back! See pics!
Absolutely the best birthday dinner experience! The service was impeccable and the food was just mouthwatering. We ordered the Cherokee mixed grill, which is prepared tableside, skirt steak, broccoli, mashed potatoes and the cheesecake. I have a gluten allergy and there were plenty of gluten free options on the menu. Will definitely be back again!
We had an amazing dinner at Cherokee Chophouse! The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The Lula steak was just as impressive, juicy and rich with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Every bite showed how much care goes into their preparation. Brooks our server was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall dining experience felt both upscale and comfortable. Definitely one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Highly recommend Cherokee Chophouse for anyone looking for a great steakhouse experience in the area!
I have eaten at many steakhouses in DC, Chicago, NYC, San Francisco, and Miami. The quality of the meat, the presentation, the service, as good or better than Ruth Chris, Morton’s, etc. A special thanks to Ryan, Luis and Matthew for ensuring such a fantastic experience! Corkage was reasonable and even when the cork was being difficult, they had a solution!
Beautiful restaurant , great service and everything was delicious. Very attentive, I think two managers came by to check on us, even though our server was great. Great for a date night or special occasion. I had a much better experience than at some midtown steakhouses.
Great restaurant for special occasions or a casual and intimate dinner. The food is delicious and the portions are big. The Margarita was amazing too. This time we ordered beef carpaccio, French onion soup, beef stroganoff, skirt steak, the house special filet mignon and Mac n cheese. The bread service is the best I ever had.
Five Stars! 10/10 – Highly Recommend! The food was incredible — full of flavor and served in generous portions. The atmosphere was giving grown and sexy, with great music that really set the tone for the night. Drinks? Perfect. Service? Impeccable. It is on the pricier side, but worth every single penny. If you’ve been to any of their sister locations, you already know the standard — and this one holds it down just the same. So far, we’ve visited three, and not one has disappointed. Finally, a family-owned restaurant chain that’s truly passionate about what they do. They care about the experience and it shows. This place is a 10/10 across the board. I definitely recommend!
Nothing short of AMAZING! Super dope atmosphere with an upscale, yet laid back vibe. Garlic cheese bread: you won't believe this tasty starter is FREE 🤑 Ribs appetizer (pictured): perfection- meat was LITERALLY falling off the bone, crazy tender and the BBQ sauce was delicious. Bone-in ribeye: exceptionally high quality cut of meat seasoned and cooked impeccably. Collard greens: made me ask "whose grandmama y'all got in that kitchen?" 👀 Crusted redskin mashed potatoes: delightfully yummy, superb balance between creamy and chunky with butter and cheese, YES PLEASE. Do yourself a flavor favor--- visit the Cherokee Chophouse, your taste buds will worship you 😋
A great time was had by all. Starting with the appetizers, everything was fantastic. The entrees came out hot and fresh and served exactly how were ordered. Our waitress was very detailed and and extremely friendly. Add Cherokee Chophouse to your to-do list.
Had the ribeye with broccolini and it was perfectly cooked to medium and well seasoned. Melt in your mouth. The server was personable and prompt and courteous. We will definitely be back.
I discovered this restaurant through their impressive Instagram videos showcasing their recent rebranding and renovation. Their videos of the dishes looked amazing, and I knew I had to try them. The exterior is welcoming, while the interior embodies the classic steakhouse ambiance. The service was impeccable, and the food was served promptly. They offer complimentary cheese toast with a honey ranch dipping sauce—a delightful start to the meal. As an appetizer, I went with a classic Caesar salad—an absolute must at any great steakhouse. For the main course, I enjoyed a ribeye accompanied by creamy horseradish sauce, crushed mashed potatoes, and asparagus topped with jumbo lump crab meat. The mesquite wood-grilled steak had a distinctive flavor that set it apart. To top it all off, they knew it was my wife’s birthday and surprised us with a slice of delicious cheesecake. You don’t get service like this anymore! Overall, an exceptional dining experience. We will definitely be back and are adding this place to our regular rotation.
Came for my birthday, Divea was an amazing server very very sweet and attentive! please ask for her. Food was amazing and fresh! Will be back again!!
First time dining in. The service the food everything was great. My waiter was attentive. I enjoyed myself, and would recommend this place.
Wow went to Cherokee Chop House this Sunday and will be going again next Sunday. Hope to be Sunday regulars with our waitress Phoenix. Where to begin in relating to our exemplary dinner experience? Upon walking into the restaurant the first thing we noticed was the spectacular overhead lighting and plush leather booths adjacent to the bar. They looked so comfy and inviting that we eschewed the dining room and settled into one of the enormous booths overlooking the bar. The small lamp at our table added to the atmosphere and provided just enough light to peruse the varied and extensive menu. The first thing I noticed was there were so many items on the menu that were not the same type of foods found on most restaurant menu’s. Instead there were many unique items that I wanted to try. Having been to Peru I ordered the Peruvian chicken with lyonnesse potatoes which came hot and crispy just like I had in Peru. Wife had the Prime Rib with loaded potato. Service was prompt, courteous and very personable. Simply top notch classy place that is reasonable with great food. Can’t wait to go back next Sunday. Oh yeah loved the glass Ware.
We went for our 1 year wedding anniversary and everything was great. Food was amazing and the service was attentive. We did wish there was some sort of gift from them for the anniversary ie. H and W free cake slice, Bones free champagne w refills and dessert but maybe their business is a little slower. There was a very loud large party in the private area we could hear from across the restaurant. The servers took turns camping out on the couches in the bathroom both times I went.
Came here with my wife and some close friends to celebrate one of their birthdays .. being a vegan, the Mrs ordered the Large Spinach Herb Mushroom Salad and a side of Brocolini; I ordered the 12oz Prime Rib with a Loaded Baked Potato along with a side House Salad .. feedback on the wife's salad was not good as it came in a very large but shallow hybrid plate-bowl and her side Broccolini was not really cooked or steam as it was strangely hard .. on the other hand, my Prime Rib tasted as expected but definitely not worth $41 .. server was friendly and attentive to our party so she was a positive .. the overall food experience was not akin to the what we expected from a quality steakhouse .. we were disappointed for sure
Ordered a smoked old fashioned that came in a dirty glass . Smudged and sticky on outside. My friends beer glass was the same. Replaced and was delicious as was the 2nd. Ordered the French onion soup as appetizer. Not what I expected. Usually I have this in a crock with melted white cheese encapsulating the crock. This had a little bit of gruyère mixed with broth onions and medallions of bread. Prime rib came just as described and was delicious. Ordered mine R-MR..... it was cold but didn't feel like returning it. I asked for bernaise that did not come. Eventually 1oz was presented to me that was cold and congealed. My son had the kids burger that was huge and tasty. Asked for ketchup when placed order, as I did the bernaise. That didn't come either. Table should've been pre-bussed as plates emptied but servers these days aren't trained right. This occurs at Chillies too lol. Beautiful restaurant, ambiance was incredible and on a wait within an hour of opening at 4. The servers were absolutely stunning but our server lacked menue knowledge as well as not presenting with the skills a seasoned server would . Or a server in a Buckhead Life Group restaurant would possess. This place was like a Temu Bones lol. Wouldn't take much to bring this restaurant up to par. Service service service, train this staff. I would imagine a good expediter in the kitchen.Would help as well. A good expedier would prevent incomplete plates from going out. Making everyone's dining experience better. Still worth a second look. Don't find this type of restaurant in this area of town. So it's a nice option to have. I live in Peachtree Corners and would spend the same at H&W with better experience. Even Stony River service is a step up.
To-go order that didn’t reflect my usual experience at Cherokee Chophouse. Pickup was smooth and on time, but the Hawaiian Brussels Sprouts were overcooked and unappealing. This was surprising, as past visits have consistently been much better.
I remember when this place was called Cherokee Cattle Co., we came here a lot back then and loved it. Today its rebranded and remodeled, same owners. I was very excited to see the new place, the menu looked amazing. Unfortunately our experience was horrible. Like my profile says, Im a huge foodie. I have over 10,000 restaurant reviews covering the world. In all those experiences I have never had this bad of service, ever. The waitress takes our drink order and disappears cor 15min. We wanted some.water as well. I saw two gentlemen standing in the back of the restaurant that looked like managers so I approached them to ask where our waitress was. They apologized and our drinks immediately appeared. Our waitress took our orders since we had over 15 min. to decide a d the place was not busy. This where things get worse. We never see our waitress again. Once our food was delivered, you'd expect your server to come check to see if everything was to our liking. But not our server. My veal chop was burned and therefore overcooked. The side pasta was way overcooked and tasted like something out of a can. This plate should have never left the kitchen, see pics. I pushed the plate away from me in the hopes that a passing wiater or manager would see my plate just sitting there, no one did. My daughters baby back ribs were also overcooked and dried out and needed a side of bbq sauce. She too waited to get the waitress attention to get some sauce fir so long her ribs got cold. The one dish that was cooked perfectly were the scallops and risotto. Must have been a different chef. So I had to get up again, find the manger and ask for our bill, we were done with this places horrible service. Me and my girlfriend have been in the restaurant business cor over 20 years and we believe itd this waitress first waiting job, its the only thing that makes sense. Our calamari and Mac & cheese fritters was delicious. The atmosphere/remodel is spectacular, actually beautiful. Very high end. Would I go here again? Never.
