I had the pleasure of dining at La Costa Grill, and it was an amazing experience. I ordered the grilled salmon and shared a seafood tower, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were outstanding—fresh and perfectly prepared. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was also fantastic, cozy, and perfect for both special occasions and casual outings. I 100% recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!

Place is spacious and has stunning views out into the plaza..or to see a sunset in the evening! Hadls an outdoor patio that is spacious and very cozy and attractive! The food is extremely well thought out...the entrées are to die for and fancy and just gorgeous! The bar staff..the wait staff and the greet staff are all highly trained professionals! And after all this greatness you'd think it costs an arm and a leg 🦵...but its priced just right! If you are ever in McAllen and want a real taste of our border..our friendly hospitality...this place is EXEMPLARY!

Hadn’t been here in over 5 years and decided to bring my husband here for the first time for a date night. Thank goodness it did not disappoint! The service and ambiance were wonderful. We went around 7:30-8pm and asked to sit outside with the wonderful cooler weather. There was a woman singing and playing guitar which was lovely. The food was all amazing!!! Couldn’t have left happier. I love that our server also didn’t rush us and let us enjoy our date and conversation without feeling pressure to hurry up and leave. Will be back again!

WOW, the food here was great! The atmosphere was divine. The ceviche is fantastic! The shrimp cocktails were amazing. The style and presentation was very upscale but the price was fairly standard and expected. The staff were awesome, and very cordial. We will definitely coming back soon!

Our server Sarahi was wonderful and had some wonderful suggestions. The vegetable and shrimp soups were fantastic. We started off with the octopus and the grilled flavor was loved by the whole table. The bacon wrapped shrimp taco was solid. The lobster tacos were ordered by most of us and they did not disappoint. Great Meal, very enjoyable.

Great little find in McCallen. Plentiful plasters and reasonable prices. Service was pretty good. The presentation and interesting salsa flavors sets this place apart. The tortilla chips are homemade and have a hint of sesame. You get 5 different salsas and black beans with pork. Two big guys shared the fajita nachos but couldn’t finish. I liked the little soup in the mason jar served with the chips.

First time trying fajita nachos. Very delicious. My only regret was not being more hungry to enjoy it more. Also tried the coconut shrimp. A bit more chewy than preferred. I’d come back here again.

I keep coming back for their seafood. Everything on the menu is great. Great food and service. Friendly staff patiently assists with the menu if you feel overwhelmed. I like their starter complimentary dish and its presentation. They serve mashed black beans with a variety of salsas and toppings as well as a side of deliciously crunchy tostadas. I have had ordered the La Costa Tower as an appetizer. Not only is it delicious but plentiful that it can easily feed two. All the other dishes on the menu are also delicious. You can't go wrong with your choice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. During the weekend evenings, they have live music.

Service was great everyone asked how we were if we needed anything. Once done with any tray they would take it off your table asap. Chips and salsa were great along with the broth. Shrimp cocktail was good the fajita and shrimp was delicious. Shrimp is prepared in front of you finished off with the meat, cheese, onion and jalapeno. Definitely would go back to try something different so much to offer

I had a steak and ordered well done, it was rare. I also ordered a Margarita and they did not put any alcohol but claimed they did. Mind u our bill was $170 for 4 people and a $30 tip, I was so disappointed with the food really for the price it should be better, i just cant get over them giving me a margarita with no flavor and no alcohol, will not be returning. For anyone reading this if you dont like something speak up dont just take what they give you. Oh and dont order the alfredo pasta with shrimp, its flavorless to say the least. Over hyped and over rated.

Don't waste your time or money in this restaurant. We chose to give this place a second chance worst decision ever we walked in there there was no waiting time they only had about 3 tables at the time.My family and I where waiting 15 minutes for some one to acknowledge us nobody the staff just where busy talking to each other like there weren't even at work not one of them attend us so after 20 minutes of being ignored decided to leave and go across the street to another restaurant.if I could give it zero stars I would but this thing don't allow me

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this place really missed the mark. The service was terrible—i waited 15 minutes for a server and no one came to ask for drink order. No communication, and staff that seemed annoyed, and looked like they were ignoring us. My family and I ended up leaving, there was no waiting time and like 3 tables, theres is no excuse for being ignored. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. Save your money and go elsewhere.
