Some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time! I came to town for a visit & suggested we go there looks like they remodeled an old Taco Bell but that food is 1 million times better than any Taco Bell!!! I have the machaca and eggs breakfast and it was muy delicioso!!!😋

I recently visited Maria's Taco Shop and ordered their carne asada supreme burrito. It was absolutely delicious and has become my go-to order. The service is always quick, the employees are friendly, and they never let me down no matter what time I visit. Highly recommend!

Since I moved to Merced over 20 years ago Maria's Taco Shop has been my favorite Mexican Food Restaurant to go to, they are great! Will Always Only Go When Ramon Is There Because I Know It's Always Fresh And Delicious 😋

This is hands down my favorite place in all of California for Carne Asada fries. They add a nacho cheese sauce onto the fries when mixed with their LEGENDARY Chipotle Sauce, makes a droopy and delicious mesh that is instant flavor town. This is the only stop that matters every time I come by Merced and it's always a guarantee that I eat an order of their fries. They also sell their Chipotle sauce as well, you can get a Medium sized cup worth of sauce or pay $60 and get a whooping 5 Gallons of the stuff! Absolutely great deal all around!

Update: I just got a asada supreme burrito and it was big. It was $10. I had like the burrito from Victoria's but they raised the price to $14.30. No burrito should cost that much. Maria's wasn't as good but $4 cheaper made it far more better. And it was good though. The food here is good. condiments which I like better than the other taco shops that are similar and Merced Maria's has the best. Update 4th of July 2023 I got a chicken supreme burrito it was so delicious. But I didn't like that it had several pieces of hard Gristle pieces that just should not be in the meat. Just having three bites of big pieces of Gristle makes me not want to eat this burrito anymore. But I still love Maria's the best..

went to visit for first time cause was craving for beef enchiladas plus tacos, not a bad price for the good portion and was able to add meat for the combo I paid for. The price was affordable for hubby's order which is 2 enchiladas. Wish I can pay other method instead of card or cash. The ambiance was calm and nice to sit down either inside our outside with shade and safe enough for kids to run around because there is fence. We decided to dine in, place seems clean so well probably order again.

I love this place, my sister and I come in the early hours of the night to grab a burrito 🌯 or asada fries and the food is delicious everytime! They have never disappointed me, thank you staff for staying open 24hrs and with great customer service this family have never made feel uncomfortable or disrespected.

I’ve been looking for spots around Merced that offer authentic Mexican food to go. This place tops the list. I went in around 9pm and ordered 2 supreme burritos. The meat tasted fresh and had a good taste. My order was really quick and the lady working was polite. I’m hoping on my next visit to try their tacos and other dishes as their menu is big. Only thing is you must go inside to order because there is no drive-thru. Overall I recommend this place if you’re looking for lunch or dinner to go. Prices are very reasonable. Open 24hours! This restaurant reminds me of one I visit when I go to the LA area.
