This place did not disappoint. I was a bit skeptical due to only 40 reviews. But glad we came. Place is clean and comfortable inside. I don’t like fishy smelling places, this place isn’t one of those. We ordered the whole fried snapper and it was phenomenal. It was fresh not fishy, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. It was huge too. I can’t wait to come back and try what else they have. quick and friendly too
Lucy was very helpful! I came here thinking there was oysters but sadly there wasn’t. The menus on the screen were stuck and she caught on I was trying to figure out what was available. Soup of day is shrimp on Wednesday and Con soup (which I got a test taste of good)on Tuesday. They have a hidden menu with chicken wings and different burgers and all protein fishes you can make a sandwich too! Very clean and breakfast served all day. Palomilla Steak to go is what he ordered! Lucy is Great!! All this with 2 drinks under $30!
They got a special for each day and all of them are very good. Shrimp Poboy is delicious and their ceviche is good too.

I got the grilled shrimp with fries and veggie of the day which happened to be steamed squash that was delicious! My hubby got friend conch that came with this crazy good dipping sauce. Food was great
Their daily specials are where it’s at!! Depending on what you order, of course, but for 6.99, I got catfish (grilled or fried) and two sides with a soda. The portions are plentiful and food is hot and fresh. I always take home left overs.
Fish soup was yums for under $7 lg Tostones beyond good: large thick cut; salsa delish: chimichuri lime and hot peppers? I have no idea yet it’s made there and top notch. Any seafood soup handed to me without 4 limes is no longer ok with, from now on. Thanks for feeding me Zubi
The only food I can buy at this cafeteria is cafe con leche and toast, but the rest in my opinion the food has not flavor. Specially the chicken soup is swimming in oil. The customer service specially the cashier is amazing.
Food was excellent I had chicken breast meal with side salad and sweet plantains it was perfect. Besides that conch fritters 2 for $1 wasn’t bad but I didn’t taste much conch. Overall it was nice and quiet.
I call it The best fish place in Miami! With super delicious seafood, always fresh and at a very cheap price! I visit here frequently and my entire family enjoys the fish meals as well as soups and milkshakes. Definitely a hidden gem!
I heard about this spot from a friend and was surprised when I arrived, you wouldn't expect a hole in the wall in Little Haiti to be this nice but everything was clean and the kitchen is open so you can see everything. They make everything from scratch and have different daily specials everyday, I had the conch fritters as an appetizer and they were awesome, you get three for a dollar. I had a Minuta sand which and some fried shrimp and everything was on point. Definitely coming back for more.
Was in the downtown area and decided to browse for something easy and quick to eat when I stumbled upon Zubi's yelp page. Their page had some mixed reviews, but was in a hurry so decided to take a chance on the small cafeteria styled eatery in Little Haiti that shares a building with a neighborhood grocery & seafood market. This is definitely to their advantage and is probably why their seafood is phenomenal-- considering their using all fresh ingredients. The only thing I can say I disliked about the interior of the restaurant were the seats! I'm not too much of a nit-picky gal but they were so uncomfortable that my boyfriend ended up standing half way through our meal till we were finished. Strange but true! The food though, on the other hand, I really could never find any complaints for because each seafood item was cooked perfectly and correctly. My boyfriend and I ordered the sample platter appetizer which included fried calamari, 2 conch fritters, 2 croquettes, and 3 tostones for $6.99. The whole dish blew us out of the water but the insanely tender fried calamari was our favorite served in strips instead of the traditional rounds most restaurants do. The conch fritters were also very notable because unlike most restaurants there were actually large chunks of well cooked conk distributed evenly within the tropical island-styled batter used. Next we ordered the shrimp po'boy for $6.99 to share. I honestly didn't think it would be anything too special, really was just an impulsively gluttonous order from two hungry people which is why when it was so good it blew us away. We recently ate through New Orleans' food scene and this sandwich could easily compete as a better choice then those that we tried there. Lastly we gobbled down their fresh whole fried snapper entree for $10.99 that came with two sides in which we chose seafood rice and fried yuca. The woman cooking the fish even came out to ask us how crispy we would like it in which of course we went for the very, very, crispy. It was cooked to perfection; each bite delivered a slight crunch atop moist fresh fish. Particularly liked the side seafood rice as well and made for a great leftover snack later that day! Will definitely be back and will recommend to others as a place where you don't have to pay exorbitant prices to eat really delicious seafood. They were out of their famed minuta sandwiches so I really look forward to tasting those next time I venture there! IG: KFitzEats
This cafeteria is amazing. The food is always fresh. They have a good breakfast and lunch selection. The staff and managers are very nice and hospitality expert. We been coming here during the world cup games and we love it... It's our favorite spot now and I recommend it to everyone...

The cooking lady always had a smile on her face and was very attentive with us. That alone made my meal.

Very generous portions and prices are fare. Rice was dry they gave me no sauce or dressing to put on it plantains were dry as well and fish had no seasoning but overall it was okay
Really nice laid back spot. I got there just before closing so you get served what's left.BUT! My snapper was great quality and freshly fried! However, it was not seasoned. My sides were REALLY good. I also ordered the crab cakes which were sub-par but good flavor. I am thinking I should go earlier in the day and give them another try. I love supporting my neighbors....but I really had my heart set on that fish.So disappointing

This place is more like a sit down bodega or cafeteria type restaurant. Aside from the fried food, which is fried at order, the other items are precooked and sitting in warming trays. So, if you order chicken and rice say (which is a good order and tasty but not exactly "fish house" fare) they scoop it out a generous portion and put it on a plate. The fried food (conch) was tough and excessively seasoned with some type of seasoned salt. I LOVE salt, but this was almost inedible because it was so salty. Plastic cutlery, styrofoam plates and canned beverages from an open iced cooler. That's the style. There is nothing resembling fresh and healthy seafood. The pics on Google are deceiving and look like NOTHING I saw available at the restaurant. The interior has been freshened up, but the bathroom was so dirty it was unusable. On the plus side, an employee was nice enough to let me use the employee restroom. Overall, I think if you order selectively, you might be OK, but I won't be back. It's not a fish house, it's just a step up from a cafeteria.

If I could give negative stars I would this is the worst breakfast in little Haiti the toast is not toasted the eggs are all wet I had to use the napkin to pat dry and is still wet. I asked for light coffee with milk that’s dark. The bacon looks crispy but it’s not. Will not eat there again. Mind you 3 breakfast I ordered and they are all the same…. We are done with this place. Rip Zubi fish house.

I have been visiting this food spot for years! I’m shocked at how bad the service and atmosphere has become. It’s no longer a friendly family restaurant with delicious food to choose from. It’s now an empty shell of what it used to be and the staff is incredibly rude and clearly has no real service experience. Their was no menu anywhere, no food anywhere, no aromas, no deserts , no vibe. Just a cold kitchen with bad energy ! I was rudely told to scan a url for the menu that was not even in a location comfortable to scan. What a sad joke, good luck with your business , I’ll never come here again after dozens of visit , sad.
I got a Sopa de res and they gave me straight bone no meat 💀💀💀
