The Turkish Airlines Lounge in Miami receives positive feedback for its comfortable and well-maintained VIP area with diverse food options. However, some reviewers mention overcrowding, limited seating, and long waits for showers, especially during peak hours. The Efes beer is a highlight.

The best lounge I've been to so far. It is totally worth even purchasing entrance. Revolut premium users have good rates. The food and drinks offer is amazing. Pastry, sweets, real time cooking stations, you name it. Important to mention the cleanlines of the toilets and the nice smell. Very good experience and totally recommend it. We had layovers during the day (late afternoon and early morning - cooking stations open in the morning)
One of the best lounges out there. Locked my luggage away, they use a fingerprint lock which was good. The food is amazing, I loved the little ravioli things (Manti) and the chopped pizza type things (Pide). Lots of other food, desserts, drinks and coffee. Great place, loved it
Traveling around the world and need to admit one of the best lounges I have seen and experienced. Service 24/7 even in Ramadan, really worthwhile visiting. The cooking stations and the bakery products to die for. Turkish food is very delicious and getting it at an airport fresh out of an oven, super!
This is the best buisses class louge there is. Ist spacious and very good quality food. There is so many choices and you can really relax and enjoy your time. The airport is new and there are lots of shops. But to enjoy this lounge is really amazing. Turkish Airlines really makes you feel comfortable.
Quite possibly the best business class lounge in the world. Particularly when it concerns freshly made authentic local food. A comfortable and amazing place to wait while you're in transit or catching a flight. Plenty of room to sit and service is excellent.
November 2025 5* This is my second visit to TK Business Lounge. I visited first when it was just opened in 2018 and can see big difference now. It was very packed and lots of people. There is seating area in the front and back side. Special area for kids to play games. Also special storage area for luggage. Food options are amazing. There is so many things you can find including vegetarian. You can enjoy different drinks and deserts.
had heard that the Turkish Airlines lounge at Istanbul Airport is spacious and comfortable, but I was particularly impressed by the fact that it offers not only a buffet but also sections where dishes are prepared fresh on the spot. The quality of the food was excellent as well, which helped me understand why this lounge is so popular. I hope to have the opportunity to visit again in the future.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Turkish Airlines Business Lounge in Istanbul is excellent! The food was delicious, with a great variety and everything fresh. The salad bar was amazing, and the live cooking stations were a real highlight. It can get quite busy, but you can always find a place to sit. Overall, a fantastic lounge experience!
Still one of the benchmarks by which other lounges should be measuring themselves. Despite an unavoidable degree of crowding and mass-productiom, this lounge maintains a sense of luxury and quality. Even at its fullest, it is less chaotic than the IGA Lounge. Special features include bookable meeting rooms; an ironing service; barista coffee (although there's always a queue); large monitors you can connect your laptop to; well organized showers (wait time over one hour, but you get a beeper) and a majority of hot dishes cooked fresh to order. The meeting rooms are a godsend if you have to work or make calls because the rest of the lounge is like a busy food court with casual dining furniture only (certainly no ergonomics or power outlets). The shower suites are very luxuriously appointed, even including bathrobes, marble surfaces and quality products (the generic dispensers are not used to hide junk!).
Fantastic lounge with a wide variety of fresh salads and cooked meals. Even with renovations ongoing in November and December, the experience was seamless. Service was top-notch as usual, and there was plenty of seating and food available. The construction didn't impact the quality at all.
Fantastic business lounge. The food is excellent with a lot of varied quality. Plenty of seating, wireless charging for your phone, etc… really high quality and lovely place to relax
The amount of gluten free options is unmatched to any other Airline lounge I've been to! The ambiance feels awesome. It was more crowded than I thought it would be. Took a few minutes to find a seat.
The Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge is one of the best airport lounges I’ve been to. There is plenty of seating and many tables for you to enjoy your food. There is a buffet with many options and many cooks stationed throughout the lounge. My 8 year old daughter loved the butter rice. I enjoyed it too. In the mornings, they offer grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a locker to put away your things and you can walk around the terminal and re-enter the lounge at anytime if you have a long layover. If you don’t have a European plug to charge your device (or packed it in checked luggage by mistake) the concierge may have adapters to lend you. They take note of your passport so you don’t walk away with them and ensure you return them. Overall, an excellent lounge.
the best lounge I have ever been. Huge variety of foods and drinks. Plenty of seats and luggage storage so you don't have carry or leave your baggage unattended. The only thing I feel missing was turkish ice cream. There is a shower facility but 2 hours queue when I went there in the evening. So if you want to freshen up before flight, better book early upon reaching the lounge.
The Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge at Istanbul Airport is simply world-class. Spacious, elegant, and filled with warm Turkish hospitality, it offers outstanding food, live cooking stations, relaxing seating areas, spotless showers, and even fun extras like a golf simulator. A perfect place to unwind and refresh before your flight. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The lounge is comfortable and has a decent food selection. Several food stalls are preparing the food on site, so you will get the freshest food. The breakfast was, however, pretty underwhelming compared to dinner dishes. This lounge is usually as crowded as IGA lounge, so it might be difficult to find a seat depending on time of the day.
It was a good place to spend a 7-hour wait for my next flight. There were more-than sufficient food for a snack or a full meal. They also offered locker services, shower facilities and (my favourite) a small suite for one to have a good sleep. However it was often fully booked and I had to ask a few times before getting one. There are different kinds of seating in the lounge but it is often fully taken up (by passengers & baggage). All in, it was a pleasant, satisfying and restful 7-hour transit for me.
Sitting in lounge now, awaiting for my next flight. There is a very nice salad bar. Various Turkish food. Coffee, tea and several types of soft drinks. Only issue is that it is not easy to make out what type of soft drink it is. I did not see and beer or spirits, but red and white wine was available (self service). The place is huge as it is catering to a lot of people. Pls see the photos. They do have sleeping as well as quiet areas.
Great Business Lounge with lots of seats available. Also, there are several chefs who are preparing food right in front of your eyes. Dishes vary from salads over typical Turkish ones over to Baklava and other tasty deserts. The lounge is kept absolutely tidy and clean, even an ironing service is available! All staff was super friendly and welcoming 😊
The Business Lounge of Turkish Airlines in Istanbul isn’t just a waiting area—it’s a destination in itself. It has set the bar so high that it’s hard to find anything missing. From the incredible variety of flavors that take you to the heart of the East to the comfortable relaxation spaces, every detail is crafted with unmatched elegance. And if you think it’s just a place to rest, think again. You can unwind with a book, enjoy live cooking shows, or even have some fun playing games. The level of luxury and comfort it offers makes other lounges feel ordinary by comparison. Turkish Airlines has created a space you don’t want to leave—even if you have a flight to catch!
Take a round before you take a seat many nice areas and totally different! Very nice and big lounge, very crowed and not easy to get a nice seat! The problem is that they have many tables, seating areas for 4 so that most of the time 2-3 seats are blocked! Anyway one of the best lounges I ever saw. Amazing food, many different Turkish dishes. From a - z you find everything. They have lookers for your bags, three meeting rooms full equipped. Toilets and showers and also ironing service is available as well.
The best flight of my life Only in the airport some time people they don't like to give inf ( polis some time one of then only say we not talk it's look funny 😅)if we are missing but the rest was very nice experience thank you for the captain of my fly and all the teams in the plane with the service. Appreciate so much
I have been to many lounges around the world and this one is my favourite! There is more food than you can eat and some booths have a chef who prepares hot dishes. Desserts were plentiful, but fresh fruit would have been nice. I also liked the shower room, the room was very clean and comfortable. It seems that the nap room is only available to lounge users on long layovers for transfer.
This Turkish Airlines business class lounge is a cozier, quieter, more intimate version of the Miles & Smiles lounge, and way less crowded at any time. Clearly one of the most impressive business class lounges anywhere in the world and definitely makes transiting in Istanbul a comfortable and even fairly enjoyable experience. The food and drink offer is spectacular with an abundance of diverse and delicious menu items that showcase Turkish cuisine. Seating options are plentiful and spread out across different zones - from tables for working to armchairs and lie-down loungers. Wifi connection is hassle-free. Services for washrooms, showers (and even bedrooms for long layovers) are top notch. One feedback I have is that the airline could better communicate to business class travellers the availability of this dedicated lounge - we used to go to the very big and equally impressive but always super crowded Miles & Smiles lounge (for all Star Alliance Gold members) as was unaware of this much quieter lounge option exclusive for business class until just a few trips ago.
If there is a better lounge anywhere in the World I’d like to know! The lounge is gigantic and overlooks the airport concourse. There is plenty of space to always find a seat with many different sections with their own atmosphere and vibe. The food is outstanding! These must be some of the best chefs in Turkey cooking up a variety of Turkish delights from menemen to many varieties of pide, fresh simit, meats and chicken, manti, gozleme and much much more! Workers and friendly and quick to clean up. Golf and flight simulator also a fun way to pass the time. Can not wait for next trip back thru IST to visit again!
In one word, breathtaking! The different types of fresh Turkish dishes for an airport lounge is seriously impressive. The pide, mantı and gözleme are all made from scratch. The köfte grilled on the spot and very flavorful. The tea never stops flowing and there are different types of coffees to choose from as well. Great location inside an impressively big airport, with an aerial view of the shopping and transit areas. There are lockers for your personal belongings and office services are available upon request. Upon entrance, there is soothing piano music setting the mood for you as you find yourself walking past several food stations to an available seat or table. This lounge is the reason why I get to the airport early at IST and actually enjoy the entire experience. Bravo THY!
It was one of the best lounges I've ever been to. The variety of food was great—I loved the salad and cheese bar, the fresh bread and pizza, and the juices and tea. The luggage area was convenient, and the seating areas were beautiful. The service and cleaning crew were also amazing. Definitely worth the visit!
The Turkish Airlines Business Lounge at Istanbul Airport is a haven of comfort and luxury for travelers seeking a premium experience before their flight. Designed with elegance and efficiency in mind, this lounge offers a wide range of amenities that cater to both relaxation and productivity. One of its standout features is the showering room, which provides a refreshing escape for weary travelers. Whether you're arriving from a long-haul flight or preparing for an important meeting, the shower facilities allow you to freshen up in a private and well-equipped space. Complete with high-quality toiletries, plush towels, and modern fixtures, the showering room ensures that guests leave feeling rejuvenated and ready for their journey. Beyond the showering facilities, the lounge boasts gourmet dining options, a quiet work area and comfortable seating that makes waiting for a flight an enjoyable experience. The ambiance is refined yet welcoming, offering a perfect blend of Turkish hospitality and international sophistication.
I’ve heard great things about this lounge, and after trying it today, I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. The setting is impressive—spacious, elegant, and well thought out. What really stood out was the experience at the food counters. The staff preparing local dishes bring a touch of Turkish culture right into the airport. It’s more than just a lounge—it’s a chance to enjoy authentic flavors and warm hospitality, whether you’re traveling for business or leisure.
Outstanding business class only at lounge with many "neighborhoods" to suit your mood. Great selection of foods and drinks that are authentic to the area. Friendly staff that's happy to help, but the English is not usually their strong point. The showers are also nice, but about what you'd expect. There is a free ironing service which most people miss! Also, be sure to try the free VR flight of Istanbul!
Istanbul Airport is modern, spacious, and very well organized. Everything from check-in to security is smooth, with clear signs in multiple languages. Plenty of seating, great shopping and dining options, and friendly staff make travel here much easier. A pleasant experience for such a large and busy hub.
This would have to be one of our fave lounges, we have visited, the lounge is huge with plenty of seating, we particularly like the library section, the food has to be the stand out, we love the individual cooking counters, the Thai food was awesome, as was the standard Turkish fare, the staff were friendly and went about there business without any fuss. all in all a wonderful experience.
One of the loveliest lounges I have been to. We had a 6 hour lay over and needed to rest due to the time difference to our next destination. We were blessed to have had suites available and were each given our own. The rooms had slippers plug points, desk and water provided with air con. The shower was so satisfying where toiletries, slippers, gowns and towels are provided. There are several food, drink and dessert stations in the lounge with multiple seating areas.
This is by far the best lounge experience I’ve ever had! The food selection is huge, featuring many Turkish dishes and some international food as well. It includes a salad bar, Turkish pizza, pasta, fruit and dessert, etc. There’s plenty of drinks available also(soft and alcoholic. Moreover, there are several amenities, including showers, ironing service, luggage storage, nursing room and some quiet and convenient suites to rest (for customers meeting certain requirements).
It's one of my favorite business lounges. Plenty of choices on various food stations. Coffee and teas are a delightful site with choices on various pastries, baklava, Turkish delights. Service is fantastic, someone is always picking up the plates and cleaning the tables. Restrooms are very clean. The Coffee batista station is high end and baristas are on tip of making everyone's drinks quickly.
No secret a lounge from an airline such as Turkish airline at its main hub Istanbul has to be good My wife and I visit this lounge prior to our flight to Madrid although we got there early and there were no plenty of food since the hot meals were close. This is not a 24 hour lounge when it comes to food, but it is when it comes to rest so we took a seat and rested for a few hours then the breakfast started In my opinion, it lacks a lot of goods when it comes to breakfast. The breakfast was very basic besides some bakery, drinks, yoghurt and a la carts hot omelet cooking and it was a big disappointing. When it comes to amenities, this is the key point of this lounge. It has a large sitting area with different mood options also private room but only for those who has long layovers (check your eligibility) also showers, working area, luggage storage(very convenient) a private museum, TV area and kids area (might be forgetting something) I gotta admit how well the theme of this lounge is taken care of especially the Turkish restaurant and their tea area which made it feel very comfortable and cosy Just a heads up, the lounge might not be near your gate. It took me 10 minutes to get to my gate. ( non Schengen to Schengen)
A really great place to stay when you have a break at the airport. In case your break is longer than 6 hours you can take one of the business suites to sleep a couple of hours. It’s for free then… great food…. Any kind you want. From salat to soups and of course typical Turkish food. So enjoy your stay and relax 🙏😁
Excellent business class lounge. This place is massive and the food with many that are freshly made makes it even better. I had a long layover so I put my bags in the lockers in the lounge and explored Istanbul and came back. Takes about an in and out of town. Few drawbacks severe lack of places to charge your phone. No Bar just wine and beer. Despite the massive size still gets crowded at times.
One of the best Business Class Lounges I’ve been. Different types of food and all tasty and very authentic. The teas inside the samovars, food is made by the cooks just in front of you. Play rooms, golf, museum and much more entertainment. The only problem is the number of seats, jot a lot I would say, so it might be difficult to find any at some point. Although the lounge is just for Business class, NOT elite card holders. which is also important info
One of the best business lounges I visited so far. Open 24/7 and although crowded most of the time, it is a beautiful area to rest & relax on a short or a long layover. Clean, with luggage storage, polite and professional staff. Small rooms called suites with a well equipped bathroom are available to stay if your connection flight has a long layover. Variety of food, fresh ingredients, sweets, piano music and hospitality is all that characterise Turkish Airlines business lounge.
I think this is about as good as a buisness class lounge can get. Instead of providing a review on the obvious things, I’ll try to hit on some less known: - There is a full barista near the back who can make any kind of cappuccino, latte, Turkish coffee, etc. - Alcohol is limited to wine, champagne, and beer, with the first 2 as self serve on carts near the walls and the beer in fridges along the walls around the lounge with other drinks. - Showers are available, but usually have 1-1.5 hr waits, so put your name in immediate when you arrive by turning LEFT and going to the help desk INSIDE the lounge after you enter. Showers have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, blow dryer, some limited amenities such as cotton swabs and loofah, but no face cream, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Included are photos of the shower specifically since it’s less seen.
Was treated to business as a retirement gift from my company What luxury got a straight 5 hours sleep and watched a couple of recent movies The head stewardess went above and beyond to make sure I was totally comfortable The lounge in Istanbul was fantastic also Thought it was a lot of money, but you know those comforts are worth it, especially on a 12 hour trip I actually might pay for this myself if I have to come this far again
The Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge at Istanbul Airport is truly one of the best lounges I’ve experienced worldwide—and I travel frequently, so that says a lot. This lounge stands out for its spacious layout, wide variety of fresh food options, and thoughtful amenities. One of the most impressive aspects is the availability of food throughout the lounge, not just in one central buffet area. You’ll find freshly prepared dishes being cooked in multiple stations, along with a variety of grab-and-go snacks and nonalcoholic drinks spread across the floor. The selection is plentiful and high quality, which makes it feel more like a curated food hall than a typical airport lounge. There’s also a wide range of seating options, from lounge chairs to dining tables to more private, quiet areas. That said, I visited on a Saturday, and it was very crowded—almost every seat was taken, so be prepared for a busy atmosphere during peak times. A few unique highlights include a golf simulator, which I personally tried and found quite entertaining, and a lay-down flight simulator, which looked like a fun, interactive option. There’s also a small kids’ play area, which is great for families who need to let their little ones burn off some energy. As for alcohol, it’s limited—mainly some wine options and possibly beer, which you’ll need to serve yourself and may have to hunt for a bit. Overall, this is a top-tier business lounge with excellent amenities, great food, and thoughtful touches for travelers of all kinds. Highly recommended if you’re flying through Istanbul with Turkish Airlines.
Delicious food, very friendly and hardworking staff, definitely one of the best lounges I’ve visited. There are 5–6 different food stations where chefs prepare hot dishes like köfte, pide, and other specialties right in front of you. The salad options are plentiful, and the desserts are just as impressive. Coffee is freshly made by baristas, which adds a nice touch. The variety and quality of dishes are outstanding, and service is excellent. The only thing I would suggest is improving the seating options, those large white sofas with small side tables are not very practical. Other than that, it’s an amazing lounge experience!
We flew Turkish Airlines business class from Istanbul back to Orlando. This was our first experience at the Istanbul airport. Turkish Airlines Lounge was not amazing, but was instead very good. It is a little clunky to find. It is well appointed and even has lockers in which to store your baggage. We found the food to be very good with a very wide selection of breakfast options. I chose a made-to-order omelet. For Americans, the lounge has an interesting range of beverages. My biggest criticism is the lounge quickly filled to capacity (perhaps a bit more), which diminished the experience.
Not their fault but there were 2 construction sites with horrible noises. Plus screaming kids & babies. Not a calming place to kill 6 hrs. I'm hoping to get a private suite on my return flights with a 9.5 hr layover. Maybe it will be quieter.
The receptionist “the lady wearing hajab” is very rude. I’ve asked her the password of the internet and she answered me very rude she said if i can speak English while I’ve asked her in English. She said to asked the waitress. This is not my first time to stay in Business Lounge usually from the reception before u enter they are giving fr the reception the password that’s why I’ve asked her. She should know PR”Public Relations” because shes working as receptionist. Other things are good. Food are good too.
Criticizing a lounge sounds ungrateful, it is still a good place with lots of amenities but this is for improvement and expectations. The lounge is undergoing renovations and a good part of the seating area is blocked, which means it is now evenpre crowded than it usually is. When that area is opened I sure hope that they have more seating areas that allow guests to extend their legs to be more comfortable if they are elderly, with special needs or simply wanting to sleep if they have a long transit.
It's a lovely area on the second floor, across from gate E. The food wasn't that impressive. There was lentil soup, a salad bar, fuccacia, rice, beans, and vegetable musaka. There were soft drinks, wine, and beer. Overall, it was okay, but didn't have a premium feel and experience. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Very happy with Turkish Airlines. Their business class staff were amazing. Had a very good flight from Boston to Istanbul. Or Konstantinople as we Greeks call it. The experience was really good. Worth mentioning. If the food quality is improved a bit they will be amazing. Great seat comfort and huge leg room. Entertainment package really good. We recommend it for sure
First time coming here for a long layover. It was clean. Really liked that they had clean modern showers as well private rooms for sleeping. However, all staff I came across were plain rude, inhospitable and lacking even a basic smile.
The lounge is basically a large self serve food and rest area for Business customer with long layovers. They don’t have a lot of space for the quiet room / area- there were 5 loungers on the side that was always full. The white couches are worn and not comfortable. The brown/dark green leather chairs are the best area to relax as the chairs are more comfy. We were there for awhile so we did see the breakfast and lunch offerings. All self serve unlike Emirates @emirates or Polaris @united where they actually have a sit down restaurant. They have a flight simulator and a golf simulator; both fun activities to fill the time. The see thru lockers where you use your thumbprint to lock was the handiest thing. Large enough to store your bags and just keep your valuables with you. Nice! There are showers and sleep suites (verify your eligibility for the suite - it depends on your connection time and to/from destination). The showers were cleaned quickly after each use - if you have to wait they give you a buzzer (like a restaurant) and they have all the amenities- toothbrush, shower cap, blow dryer, hair tie, q-tips and make up remover sponge. The area is clean- folks are always around bussing the tables.
An impressive lounge but often very busy lounge. It can be a challenge to get a space to sit during peak hours. The good selection of food with live cooking stations. However the quality of the food is ok. There is also a golf simulator for those who have time. Shower facilities are good but may need to wait during peak. Generally a positive experience.
You'll find the lounge conveniently located near E1 gate. Simply scan your boarding pass for access. Inside, enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi (no password needed), a good variety of food and drinks, and available showers and lockers. I do find the lounge a little crowded, tho ample sittings are available.
Well designed lounge with great food. Drawbacks: Far too few toilets and showers for its size, immense waiting times for those. Suggestion: Remove the exhibition about the TK history that nobody cares about anyway and add some more sanitary facilities…
For the convenience of passengers, one of the largest lounges in the world from Turkish Airlines with recreation areas, meals, shower rooms, meeting rooms and small playgrounds. It is about this place that I would like to tell you in more detail. Many times I had to visit this business lounge. Of course there are many advantages, it is probably really one of the largest. Dishes and assortment does not change since the opening, and this is already in 2018. You need to somehow include imagination and diversify with new dishes to attract tourists. It should be noted that the total area of the airport complex will be more than a thousand football fields in the future, and it will take more time to transfer and reach the desired gate. Therefore, people do not stay in the lounge for long. There are also some disadvantages, such as the noticeable fatigue of the staff.
Excellent lounge and a wide selection of freshly made food, dessert and drinks. The food at the lounge was actually better than most of the meals I had in Turkey all week. There are several stations where the chefs made fresh kebab, pasta, stews, etc. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and it was busy. It would be great if you could secure a seat away from the long corridor area. I also noticed some of the staff seemed a bit overworked and looked physically tired. But all in all, an excellent place to hang out before your flight.
Great lounge if you arrive at a time with fepassengers, but that was not the case on this trip Lounge was crowded and it is almost impossible to get a seat. Most of the food station are closed at late night even with so many passengers waiting for their flight. Food quality is good though
The lounge is being updated and at least half of it was closed off. Unfortunately this included the areas with the most comfortable seating. The result is that it was very crowded with poor seating. Didn't take much food as we ate on the connecting flight but there did appear to be an extensive choice of freshly prepared food.
Business lounge in Istanbul Airport : Selection of food and taste was very nice! Salad was very fresh! Meat and hot dishes was also served right away from chef. Good selection of wine and soft drinks, teas and coffee! Very good selection of Turkish sweets! I love it so much! But We come from Valencia to Istanbul and spend there like 6 hour waiting Our flight next flight. Then we notice that our next flight was delayed for 6 hours more 🤪 flight to Guangzhou. From 01:55 to 6:50 in the morning. We decided to stay a lounge suite and we was facing VERY RUDE AND RACISM attitude towards us from receptionist name -ZEHRA! Which was absolutely unacceptable! 🔴❌👎 and ruin a whole feeling been in BUSINESS lounge.
Overall decent and does offer good facilities, including shower rooms, which is appreciated. However, it can get very crowded, which really takes away from the experience. The food selection is good with a wide variety in buffet style, but service is a letdown. Staff don’t bother tidying up when the buffet area gets messy, and some came across as rude or uninterested. Honestly felt like they didn’t want to be there??? The flight simulator is quite interesting and a fun touch.
I visited this lounge twice in the span of 2 weeks and the review is a summary of both visits: The food and beverage offering is large and food delicious. However, some items like pide and kebab were in very short supply. I visited the pide station several times and there was never any pide. The chef puts out the pide and it's gone almost instantly. The famous simit cart was even out of simit. The personnel were picking up used glasses and dishes consistently and almost instantly, or cleaning up the tables and bathrooms. Their hard work is impressive. The servers were pretty cold in our interactions, but seeing the volume of customers they had to deal with, it's understandable. The lounge was chaotic and crowded. The women's restroom always had a line every time I visited. The lounge seems to be sectioned off for remodel, and it was really difficult to find seating with the crowd. The noise level was also a little high due to the density of people, who were all being polite and respectful. I left the lounge to find some peace and quiet.
Amazing food, mostly cooked on the spot. However it is always overcrowded, staff cannot follow the demand and lot of plates are often empty. Also nearly impossible to find a power plug available, as there's few of them hidden on floor, and a lot of them aren't actually working. Good point though, it's open 24h which is great for night connections.
I caveat this review by highlighting it was midnight when we arrived, however the lounge was almost full, yet most of the food bars were closed and there was a destinct lack of choice for drinks too. A disappointment really. Update: On our return which was daytime, there were more freshly cooked foods which was a considerable improvement. There was also a clever storage system using biometrics so you could wonder without having to carry luggage. The seating is inferior to most other capital city airports, and the lack of power outlets is frustrating. Its simply too small for the size of the airport and feels more like a standard class lounge.
I recently visited the Turkish airlines business lounge and found my experience to be quite average. One of the main drawbacks was the lack of comfortable seating options, making it difficult to relax. Additionally, charging plugs were not easily accessible, which was inconvenient. While the service from the staff was decent and the lounge itself is spacious and offers a variety of fresh food options, which was a highlight. However, I was disappointed to learn that the suites to take a nap and shower are only for certain flights. So keep in mind there are some restrictions on being able to use these suites. Another downside was the limited alcohol selection only cheap wine and beer were available, which felt inadequate given the overall expectations. Despite hearing great things about this lounge online, I left feeling let down.
I visited the airport on Jan 15, 2026, at 2 PM and was very disappointed with the business travel experience. The Fast Track process was chaotic; one staff member directed me to the line, but another lady shouted at me while pointing to a €30 sign. The lack of professionalism and clear communication was unacceptable for a premium service. Additionally, the Turkish Airlines Lounge was a letdown. As a frequent traveler, I was surprised by the lack of Western food options and soft drinks. Compared to the product offered by Emirates, Istanbul Airport’s premium services felt significantly lower in quality. I expected much better for a major international hub. Did I use AI? I was forced to have Gemini check the text because Google Maps is disallowing some of the reviews I write myself
This is one of the worst international lounges I have ever seen. I honestly don't understand the reviews. My only speculation is they are reviews by people who do not travel much or travel to smaller destinations. This lounge lacks everything. No real food (same as a united lounge in newark). No bar (only wine and beer). No champagne...prosecco. I was in the emirates lounge last year and its is 20x better and serves top champagne and 10x the size. I honestly don't get it. They also are doing construction. There is no simulator. No bar. No pool table. I have 5 hours and will end up trying another lounge. Never again will I fly turkish airlines through IST unless I can make it a quick stop.
IT went from so so to bad to worst to omg why am I on TK. The young flight attendant CEM pronounced JIM OR GEM was excellent and should train the other sour pusses who were flight attendants who basically treated you like a number. The worst business class I have ever witnessed. You actually had to climb over someone to go to WC. NOT by my attendant but I was stepped on over 7 times. Almost 5 k for bad food bad seat and bad assistance. Bad Bad Bad The seats were old hard and sadly not true business class. People walked over you to go to WC. I did not sleep at all. The flight was roughly 11 hours long from Istanbul to JFK on flight TK 11. THE doctor next to me had been royally taken advantaged of while flying with TA. HE noticed I needed help and was more than polite and helpful.
Your service is extremely disappointing and far below expectations. I was flying business class, yet I was told that I could not use the shower facilities because your staff stop accepting guests after 12 AM. This makes absolutely no sense. There are many flights departing in the middle of the night, and countless passengers have the need to freshen up before long-haul flights. As a business class passenger, this basic service should be available. I find it unacceptable that such an essential facility is unavailable simply because it is past midnight. This reflects very poor management and a serious lack of responsibility toward premium passengers. Extremely disappointing experience. In addition, the staff explanation was unclear and inconsistent. Other passengers were still able to use the shower facilities, yet I was repeatedly refused without a clear reason. This felt unfair and discriminatory. It makes me question whether there is selective treatment toward certain passengers. Such inconsistency is unacceptable, especially for a business class lounge that claims to provide premium service. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in your company.
Absolutely terrible experience! Never again Turkish Airlines! I honestly don’t even know where to start. Our flight with Turkish Airlines was a complete disaster from beginning to end. The flight was delayed by more than 4 hours, and in total we were forced to spend over 7 hours waiting at the airport — with no clear information, no apology, and absolutely no compensation or goodwill. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. No one took responsibility, and whenever you asked a question, they just brushed you off. The lounge was overcrowded, noisy, and chaotic. There were barely any seats available, and the food was cold, tasteless, and poorly prepared. After some time, we were even told to move to another lounge — and it was exactly the same: packed, dirty, and uncomfortable. The toilets were disgusting, clearly not cleaned for hours. This airline has no sense of customer service whatsoever. For a company that calls itself “premium,” this was beyond disappointing — it was a total disgrace. Conclusion: Never again Turkish Airlines! Terrible service, rude staff, dirty facilities, no organization, and zero respect for passengers. If you value your time and sanity — fly with someone else.
Pocos asientos. Pocas opciones de bebidas. Demasiada gente. 2 horas de espera para la ducha. Espera en los baños. Para eso me quedaba afuera.
