This place was amazing. The food the service everything felt good as soon as you walk in. The waitress was intentive and quick. The bread was delicious with that garlic. I got the surf n turf valentines special which was amazing. Drinks were created amazing. Everything down to the T was just amazing experience and definitely a excellent pick for a special occasion. Me and my girl enjoyed it a lot.
Always absolutely delicious food, great service, delicious drinks. I asked for something that I didn't see on the menu and they offered to make it for me. It was the best I've ever had! Thank you chef! You made my night.
Table side fresh out the oven some of the best hottest food you can eat, so good. Best garlic knots I've ever eaten. Kids would of eaten all of them and nothing but them if we let em. Chicken fiore yummm yum yum. Zuppe de pesce, always a favorite of mine, was delish.
Went there last eve. Got the Chicken Genovese & it was great! There were 4 of us & we all cleaned our plates. A great find! Great service & atmosphere. Will be back & telling others! Prices were very good , as well.
I’ve been coming to Fiore’s for over ten years, and honestly, it just gets better every time. John is amazing, he treats everyone who walks in like an old friend. You can tell he really cares about the people and the place. The food is unbelievable, always fresh and flavorful. The whole vibe here is just warm and welcoming — it’s the kind of spot you always look forward to coming back to.
Dining at Fiores is more than just a meal John goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has a positive, personalized experience — he’s genuinely friendly, attentive, and makes you feel like part of the family as do the servers . It’s rare to find a place where the service feels this sincere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and genuine hospitality!
Really good, classic NY Italian food - in Connecticut no less! Very family friendly, fun, boisterous restaurant with excellent service and tasty meals. The wine was good too!
The server was very friendly, very helpful and attentive… the veal Parmesan and the eggplant Parmesan are delicious. The garlic knots were superb. Even the Caesar salad had the right amount of dressing and great flavor. The atmosphere is really nice. We had constant soft Italian music playing with excellent singers…a nice experience to spend an afternoon.
I never imagined that I would be in this eminence of a place, I have been in this city for 6 years and I visited it for the first time and I do not regret it, it has an air of elegance in its dishes and a casual environment that form exquisiteness and harmony...But its coffee, their coffee, at least for me, makes me want to repeat it several times. I recommend it, visit this place and you will not regret it.
Very good Italian food. Friendly, professional staff. Prices are reasonable... update (4/7/2023): We had dinner again tonight. We were seated quickly and comfortably. We interacted with several staff members and as usual, they were great. The food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time and was very hot, as well as delicious! I heard the food here described as “authentic Italian” and I can’t dispute that statement.
Came here with a pretty large party for a wedding lunch. Service was great. The expresso martini and white chocolate martini were delicious. The portion sizes were great for the price too. Got the wild mushroom ravioli and it was delicious! I'm surprised it came with a whole plateful since most places I been to only gives a few pieces when you order ravioli
We highly recommend this restaurant. Four of us enjoyed four different meals. It was a cozy place where you can actually have a conversation. Service was outstanding. The bread was a nice surprise..
It's really refreshing to go to a restaurant that gets all of the basics right. Good service. Classic Italian dishes that are well prepared and recognizable. The desserts were a bit disappointing, but that was the only real blemish in an otherwise enjoyable evening for all.
Nice place, first time there. Didn't know what to expect? Appetizer of fried mozzarella was veeeery good. Main course of veal was the best I've had, and I've had some! Veal was perfect. Home made pasta was amazing as well. And just the right amount. For dessert, (is dessert ever bad? ), the tiramisu was excellent! Could have that as my meal....
Food is good and while the servers were friendly, they kept clearing our dishes before we were finished. It was honestly kind of weird. The food came out incredibly quickly, which is good, but mains came out less than five minutes after appetizers and they were trying to clear our dishes before anyone had finished. In one case taking someone's dish when she wasn't looking! I understand the need for quick turnaround, but not only were we not eating slowly (they didn't give us the chance), there were open tables so it wasn't like they needed it. It was borderline rude.
Not so great – there are better choices nearby. For $50 for lunch for 2 people I expect really good food. We started with complimentary garlic knots. The specials came with soup: a brothy soup with potato and pasta (ditalini a small, tube-shaped pasta) – it was an odd mixture but definitely homemade and the tastiest part of our meal. The lobster ravioli seemed like something straight out of supermarket but it was ok. The eggplant special was awful – it was a huge portion of these super flat probably frozen eggplant strips covered in marinara sauce. I think special meant that they were cleaning out their freezer. The parmesan cheese was kraft and not the freshly grated kind. The service was attentive and good but it really can’t make up for the subpar food.
I ordered Mother’s Day dinner tonight and couldn’t wait to have the chicken Picatta which I haven’t had for years and remembered it being the best with the most amazing white wine sauce and capers. The knots were also the best. Tonight I got the driest chicken with 3 little capers and NO white wine Sauce at all along with brown spoiled broccoli! I called to complain and the restaurant made the dish over the same exact way with absolutely no flavor at all!!! It was nasty!!!! My daughter was upset that I called to complain and a half hour later she was in the bathroom vomiting like crazy and wanting to go to the hospital in severe pain. She said she got food poisoning and crying and apologizing to me for calling the restaurant to complain. The chicken dish I ordered used to be one of my favorite dishes ever and I ended up throwing them in the garbage and will spend my Mother’s Day without dinner and awake all night taking care of my daughter who got very sick from their nasty food!!!! Never Ever again will I order from them or recommend their food! !
