I do not like eating at the Chili’s by my house in Colorado so I never go there. I got invited to this one in midland and honestly was stressing about it. Not excited at all. I got the 6oz sirloin with asparagus and it was very good. I was pleasantly surprised. I might even try this plate at the one back home.
The food was fresh as always! I had an amazing margarita! Our server dalton was very nice and attentive! He was very quick with all his service and apologetic when it didnt come out very fast!
Chili's has really picked things up. We stopped coming here about 10 years ago and decided to give it another try as most of us know this city and restaurants not the best. The last 3 weeks we have had excellent service, good food and great services. Tonight my husband seen an employee scrubbing menus and he told her her job was one of the most important as it creeps us out to touch fithly menus. Much cleaner restaurant in general. Hats off to all the staff and management 👏
Never eaten at chili's until recently and I'm glad I came, it's comparable to an apple bees but with a higher standard when it comes to the meals. Would absolutely come back. First chained restaurant I've enjoyed in a WHILE.
This Chilli's has never done us wrong in the 4 years of going to them. Great food, great staff, and great drinks. They don't deserve the negative reviews here or on yelp.

Went in for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The burgers had a perfect char on them and they were very flavourful. The waitress was just as nice as could be and took great care of us!
It was extremely busy due to Father’s Day. Everyone working was very patient and nice. Even with such a busy day it was nice to enjoy the meal. I got the Surf and Turf. Well cooked and seas. This place is a solid choice for meals
Not the best food around, yet not expensive, exelent service
Our server Stu was AWESOME! His customer service level was impeccable, no matter the number of tables he was responsible for, he never wavered in EVERYONE getting the same service. He recommended a tea that the entire family loved, and he is the reason we will be returning. The food was really good as well. My family left with full bellies and smiles. We had to advise management how well he did because, let's be honest, most times, management is called it's due to complaints. Why not give the same attention, if not more, when the server goes above and beyond. Thanks Stu, you're the reason Chili's will have a loyal Sunday family. 😃
Went to eat with my family this evening about 7pm, our waiter was an older gentleman with longer hair. He was so kind and genuine. He has great customer service and should definitely be recognized. I don't remember his name but we sat down around 7 pm and our tab 110 if that helps.
The food us always great. I usually order a large meal so that I have some to bring home for later in the day. As for service, top notch. My family and I try to go once a month for family dinner.
Five stars for food, atmosphere and service but emphasis on the service. Mika was our server and she is accurate, friendly, and courteous.
Violet provided absolutely outstanding service at Chili’s tonight. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we sat down. She stayed on top of everything without ever being intrusive, made sure our drinks and food were perfect, and had an incredible attitude the entire time. It is rare to find a server who balances professionalism with such a warm personality, but Violet did exactly that. She made the whole dining experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. If you visit this Chili’s, ask for Violet. You will be glad you did.
We wanted to try it and had never been here before. Place was very busy, but food came out quickly, was hot and tasted really good. Waitress (Abigail) was absolutely amazing, gave recommendations, explained everything on the menu and was very polite and personable, was right there whenever we needed anything. Was a really great experience for me and my family.
Jordan is by far the best server at the midland location. He runs circles around the other staff and checks on us even if we’re not in his section. We always look forward to a night when he’s working. That guy deserves a raise!
Me and some cast members were looking where to eat on our theater rehearsal lunch break and we decided to go to chili’s since some of us had never gone. I had the triple dipper and we all shared fries with cheese and bacon bits. The food was super delicious! I’m honestly craving it as I write this. 10/10 would go again just to eat the honey spicy chicken and mozzarella sticks.
Had dinner this evening at Chilis and was really impressed! Oli, our server was wonderful! Great service, him and the busser were keeping the area really clean and on top of everything!
Family Dinner at Chili's - Great Experience! Had a fantastic family dinner for 6 at Chili's. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Although I didn't get our waiter's name, he was fast, attentive, and polite. The restaurant itself was well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Highly recommend for a satisfying and courteous dining experience!
I believe there are a few former disgruntled employees posting all the negative reviews about Chili's Midland location! Absolutely not! This is a cool restaurant, with friendly and attentive employees. The service isn't slow, and the food is hot. Drinks are on point as well. I'll come again whenever I'm here. We were seated quickly and the waitress was there just enough to keep us satisfied and not too much to annoy. Very friendly and personable. We never had to ask for something twice. The food was great tasting as well as looked very good. Chilis food is what you expect so for me its really down to service and we received great service tonight.
Could be better but I do understand that everyone is struggling with staff issues and fewer people spending money. Steak fajitas were good but very pink and cold, like cold cold wine I got it. I don't mind medium steal and just put it on the platter on bottom to heat it. Forgot part of the order but brought it promptly when mentioned.
Went here on a Sunday night and picked a rough night. They were short-handed and the wait time and food wasn't what it usually is. My wife and I couldn't eat much of it. Two positives were Joseph, the to-go guy, handled frustrated customers and the pressure very well and did his best to provide great customer service. Second, the cheesecake was still amazing. Because it was so late, my wife and I went to talk to a manager the next day. Cassandra was there and sat down with us to see what was going on. After venting our frustrations, she made sure we didn't leave with another bad experience and didn't just try to solve another problem but took time out of her busy schedule and listened. We will definitely be back.

We were told it'd be a 35 to 45 minute wait, I would say it was more like 15, the only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because whoever brought our food to us touched it with his bare hands to identify which burger was which! Combination fajitas did not turn out well. The steak was delicious but the chicken tasted rubbery and fake like it was imitation chicken. Guess I'll have to stick to steak only if I go again

got ignored half the time and didn’t get our check until they were closing. When talked to the manager he blew them off. That’s no way you should treat your customers. Do better. Don’t want to make it seem racist but they catered very well to the people of their race.
Service was very slow. Took over 30 minutes to get a chicken salad. Even then, the chicken was undercooked. The Santa Fe Chicken Salad was so hot it had no flavor. Advertisements all over FOR FREE chips/salsa. I got my bill and there was a charge of $5.49 for the chips/salsa. I asked why and was told only with a rewards card. The waiter kept forgetting things. Overall, not a pleasant experience. I won't be back.

Chili's is usually our favorite spot to eat as a family, but our visit tonight was a bit off. It all started with the elderly hostess, who was surprisingly rude when I let her know we were next in line, after she asked. She basically called me a liar and kept asking the ladies who came in behind to confirm. Our waiter, seemed overwhelmed, but by the end of the meal, he really turned things around for us. Overall, the food was good as always, and our waiter did his best, but that initial interaction with the hostess really put a damper on our evening.
Chili's use to be our go-to, but we were extremely disappointed with the portion size of our meal. I used to brag about chili's being the only place left that treated their guests right. But now they're starting to make cuts and get stingy as well with what they serve you. At least the food tasted good, but I was very disappointed and don't know when we'll come back again. The generosity of chili's has gone downhill at this point, especially with the same cost of the food or charging more for less. Shameful
This place is fairly dirty, trash on the floor. It looked like it hadn't been swept on a while. A lot of the seat covers were ripped. I paid with the little machine on the table.
I ate there tonight, I waited 8 minutes until someone greeted us just to drop off silverware. Then another 6 minutes and the drinks didnt come for 18 min when we were sat. Good luck
Since our recent experience with Chili’s ordering to go had been great! I thought I would order for delivery for dinner. We were missing quite a few items from our order and the food was about room temp at best. We waited about 50-55 mins for it to be delivered I would have at least thought our food would have still been warm. It looks like our dasher waited on our food for about 30mins for pick up, so he was there waiting that wasn’t the issue. Pretty bummed! I guess I just set my expectations too high thinking it would be better for a Monday night.
I remember when I was young Chili's was the place. It's changed alot. What I remembered about the chicken fingers and what they are now is totally different. I wish I could take my family here and let them experience what I did a long time ago. The staff was great but the food just isn't the same. The price is higher than their competition but the food isn't anywhere close to there's anymore.
I understand times are hard to find decent help for restaurants but people still need to actually perform their jobs accordingly. Our waitress was very friendly but the food was cold. We were a party of 5 and 2 of us order the Cajun pasta which came out cool enough that the pasta and sauce was starting to harden. Another person ordered fajitas that came out with no sizzle and another ordered 2 choice backyard bbq plate that came out with dry ribs and over cooked fried chicken. The person who ordered a bacon burger with mushrooms had a perfect order.
Went in yesterday to treat my mom for lunch. It's been years since I've been to Chili's. Had a few people there so it was good bc they were not busy. Food came out warm to touch and appetizer was cooked on outside, but frozen in middle. Instead of taking it off, the waitress says we'll I can bring you out some more and it was not the same. She brought a half portion of wings we ordered and they were hard. Overall we paid $83 for the meal and tipped the waitress $15 cash tip. Will not be returning due to them not being busy and food was not up to par.
Got the Nashville Hot Mozz appetizer. Gross! Greasy... didn't taste good. The Big Smash burger had very little flavor. Fries were meh... think I won't be back for awhile. Maybe never.... not worth the $ spent.
I got two orders of margarita chicken to go at 410pm it taste like it was cooked at 11am rice was hard chicken was hard. I was surprised it care out do fast. We I got home I new why it's was 5 hours old
The Fries were stale, salad lacked flavor and presentation was trash the grilled chicken wasn’t cut all the way, the quesadilla that came with the salad was burnt. The mouth bites were undercook a bit (that I can live with at least) the meal was very lack luster. The server was great but the food thumbs down.
Honestly, I hate bad reviews, but this is now the third time in a row my husband and I have had a bad time here. Wrongly placed orders, cold or improperly made food, loud obnoxious atmosphere. Only reason I still go at all is the chips, salsa and margaritas so if you're looking for those you'll have a good time, if you'd actually like to have a dinner after that you'll be rolling the dice on whether or not it'll come out right and be good. And no matter what you'll almost have to yell to talk to whoever you're with.
The good: Server was pleasant and available. Flatbread stuff was good, wings were good. The bad: Fries were cold and stale. Asparagus was undercooked. Grilled cheese sandwiches were so undercooked the cheese wasn't even melted. Insultingly small portions of fries and ranch. Ran out of chocolate milk so just brought white milk and asked us as she set it down if the switch was okay. Gave a steak knife to the 2 year old but not the grown man.
This place is just horrible. They couldn't cook a steak, correctly. We sent our steaks back twice and they got it wrong twice. You could tell that they threw the steak in the deep fryer and just called it good which could have got my child sick. We didn't have to pay for the two steak plates we ordered but regardless my child could have got sick. I had spoke with the manager and she just didn't seem to care that much. Kids just standing around. Not doing anything. Menus were disgusting. The table was sticky. They are in a desperate need of new staff. It took 15 minutes before our waiter even knew were sitting at a table. They are severely short-staffed. Needless to say we won't be back.
Its been a minute since ive been in this establishment, mainly because I found multiple issues of concern when I was there last. I have no intention of going back anytime soon, sadly.
Been awhile since we've been here. Might be the last time. Server came and took drink order. Brought drinks and said what do you want. Brought food and never came back. Wife and daughter ordered ribs with BBQ sauce.... it came dry rub. Crispy chicken was dry and chicken on Cajun pasta was dry as chalk. Server was just going through the motions. We ate here many times in the past and loved it, this is probably our last.

The atmosphere is always nice. We came in and got seated right away. I was craving boneless buffalo wings and Chili's is my to go spot for that. I told my server I wanted blue cheese and she brought me ranch dressing. I brought it to her attention and she said she would bring me blue cheese dressing with more wings. She had an opportunity to redeem herself and she completely forgot about it. I saw her bussing a few tables, when we should have been priority. We ordered chicken and shrimp fajitas with double rice and the food presentation was not good. The rice was burnt and crunchy. Our server never came to prebus. I had to ask her if she could take appetizer plates out of the way so we could make room for our meal and after that I asked if she could take dinner plates so we could make room for our dessert. It was just and over all bad experience. Our server seemed scattered and not focused. She was all over the place. It appeared she might have been under the influence of something.
I ordered a triple dipper and loaded fries, took 40+ minutes for two dishes. The food came out room temperature and unappetizing. The restaurant was filthy and dirty; no soap, no hand sanitizer, and no paper towels. Beware of this establishment, as they actively try to overcharge you. They give you “old” menus with a certain price and when you confront them about the price discrepancy they laugh it off and say “oops ahaha I accidentally gave you the old menu”. They also try to overcharge me when I purchased a mini molten, normally only $3.99 they wanted to charge me $7.59; if I wanted to pay almost the same amount for a bigger portion I would of ordered the regular molten cake…
As a Christian and a servant of God and an author for the Lord God Almighty, I do not endorse and recommend this place, as they are scammers. After my family and I went there to celebrate our daughter's birthday and wedding anniversary, we were offered before our dinner came out, to have tortilla chips and salsa dip, by our waitress, without being informed beforehand that is not a complimentary course, and was charged for it on our card. While waiting a long wait for our food to come, we were offered once again by the server if we wanted more tortilla chips and salsa. Thank the Lord that we said no, or we would have been double charged. Another issue that we had was when we ordered our desserts that they didn't have the ingredients after they had already charged the desserts on our card. We requested our refund for the difference, and were told by the manager (we believe), that the original charge would be dropped off, after it was pending and that the new charge would go through, instead of the original charge. But instead, the original charge was posted in our account or went through the day after. They are not integral. We believe that they will also charge the new charge as well, as it is over $100, and the manager gave us a receipt. We are furious about the deception and subtlety of this restaurant. Deceiving people is not of God, especially for your wicked evil benefit, so your company can prosper. For as it is written in 1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." If we do not receive our refund for the original charge, we will be disputing it, as we have both receipts, and the Lord is our witness of what happened. The waitress was very subtle by not informing us ahead of time about the tortilla chips and salsa dip that it was not complimentary. Also, of them not having the desserts we wanted before we ordered them, and by pushing for us to do the survey afterward. This survey was completed in the restaurant before we got home, and later noticed the charge on the receipt for the tortilla chips, when it was too late to change our minds about the service of this restaurant. I knew that something was wrong when she was overly nice to us, which I did not feel comfortable with. For now, we know that she did it with the purpose or intention to deceive us and benefit her employer. This goes to show that you can't trust anyone, but only the Lord. Please do not come here because they obviously are thieves and love money and do not care about their customers and who and how they step on to get it from. But one thing is sure that what you do to others comes back to you later on, whether good or evil, as it is the law of God that no man can change, as it says in Galatians 6:7-8 "Be not deceived: for God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." No company succeeds and will ever prosper out of taking advantage of others, and if they won't repent and change their ways before God, they will surely go out of business and jobs soon enough. For the Lord hates sin and evil, and when you wrong anyone of His children, especially His Sainst, you wrong Him and have touched the apple of His eye, as He says in His Word. "And it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God, as it is also written in Hebrews 10:31. It seems that the majority of the people in the Permian Basin do not have customer etiquette and are extremely problematic. And if this area won't repent of their sins and get right with God before it's too late, the Lord will pour out His wrath upon it. It is just a matter of time. For our sins finds us out, when we don't repent and turn from them, as it written in Numbers 32:23. "But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out."
I went for late lunch. The music was so loud I could talk to my sister with shouting. We get seated and they take our drink order. Waitress returns with drinks and leaves no straws or silverware napkins nothing. Leaves the menu and says she'll be back. She had 2 other tables one that was already there when we arrived and 2 others after we arrived. She took a while before she got back to us to take our order. She wasn't friendly as with other tables. We order and she never comes back to refill our drinks. Brings out our food after a good while. We both ordered the half barbecue ribs and they were so dry and greasy like they had been left in the over since early lunch or last night's dinner. The fries Were dry and felt and tasted like they had cooled and they refried them for us. Only thing that was fresh tasting was the street corn. I usually don't post bad reviews, but this location has been putting out bad service for some years now. Every time we decide to come back and give it another try we are just reminded why we hadn't gone back in a good long while. It just as bad as on the order. Bad bad bad The restaurant need to be remodeled it's dated and old paint and tables are wonky and just over all this place could be alot better.
The service was not good. We arrived at 12:20. Waitress only had 2 other tables, was slow to take our order. Another table was seated, and they received appetizers and their food, and we still waited. One time the waitress committed that our food would be right out. Still we waited. At 1:40, we asked to pay for the water and tea, and left. The worst part was that our waitress was also the waitstaff manager.
We had the worst experience ever here this past December. We sat down and no one waited on us for 20 minutes until we flagged down a waiter. We ordered our food, but forgot to order our daughter’s food. We told the waiter within a couple minutes of us ordering and he placed the order. Our daughter’s food came out first. We figured ours would be out soon. Wrong! 40 minutes go by and my husband had to stand up and go find a waiter because no one ever came by our table. They said they’d tell the cooks. Then we waited another 30 minutes and saw other people getting their food. Some of it was the same as what we’d ordered and they’d arrived to the restaurant after us. We again flagged down a waiter. They said they can’t do anything. So we asked for the manager. After 10 minutes the manager came by and gave us a blank stare and said they couldn’t do anything about it. I’m pregnant and was so hungry I was about to get sick. So we told them we were leaving. Awful experience. Never going back to this Chili’s!
Went to this location for lunch me and my son and they said 32 minutes wait so we did got seated sooner witch was great but they had only one server to handle all the guests in the bar room. No service we just walked out. This place use to be fair not anymore. I wouldn’t recommend at all. Am surprised this location isn’t closing down just like everything else.
They had no host like they usually do so we didn’t know to just walk in and sit or wait… we waited to be sat because we weren’t sure then all the people that were just walking in got their food first.We were there for 40 minutes with barely getting our drinks, not even our chips… The server told us they were pretty much out of everything too. We just paid for our drinks and left because that’s crazy. We weren’t the only ones because that’s what most people were also doing. What a disappointment because I loved this chilis but I’m not sure if I will be back now..
I ordered the southwest eggrolls for curbside. I got a text at 5:05 telling me that my order was ready. I waited for almost 30 minutes for my order. A girl came out to ask the name on the order and she came out with my order. I asked her if it had been sitting there all this time and she said no they just packed it. No they didn’t. Everything was cold, the eggrolls were not crispy because they got soggy sitting there for so long. I ordered a frozen drink and it was watered down. Very poor service.
It took 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us sitting at the bar. Then my girlfriend ordered a double shot of patron and got a single but charged for the double. This place is trash. They didn't wipe off the bar. Food and stuff everywhere all over it. A lot of excuses for service but couldn't back it up. Stay away from this location.
Came in on Wednesday night @ 9:15pm. Was seated for a family of 6 people. Multiple employees walked by and ignored us for 15 minutes. No drink orders taken. Multiple employees standing around talking and would look away when we made eye contact with them. We felt very un-welcomed, so we left. Kids were saddened that they did not get their honey chipotle crispers!!!!
We had a family of 5, we had heard Chili's was a good establishment to eat but that was not the case as the food we received was not up to par, the drink, not strong at all, the food such as the chicken and street corn could be way better than received, the corn taste like mush, the chicken not hot like steaming freshly hot.. there are other locations outside of Midland Chili's that are 10x better even the service could have been even better. The atmosphere was a bit lacking on accommodations

They have no curbside pickup. You have to go into the restaurant. No utensils or napkins. No sides for burgers. (Which we specifically ordered online) Fries were soggy. They give me regular tea and unsweet. Was supposed to be watermelon. They also forgot tortillas for my fajitas. Overall, this is my first time eating at Chili's, and I am so disappointed I will never order again, especially with our order being almost $200
Arrived at 5 and waited, and watched tables seated after us served, 45 minutes for our food. (My tea was not as I'd ordered but our drinks arrived reasonably soon after we were seated.) One meal was barely warm. Fajitas were hot and good, though. Our waitress lacked professionalism.... not attentive. It's been years since we ate at Chili's and now we remember why.
The smashers burger was very salty. I asked for the mayo on the side and it was on the burger. I frequent Chili's everywhere I go and never had a burger that salty. My fries were salty and I received very few fries. I was also disappointed to see the 3 for me menu change where only a burger is $10.99. Midland Chili's was disappointing. I drive by it daily not sure i will stop again.

We went about 4 pm and we were our server Jessica’s only table. Everything was good until we got our food. The food was delicious but we never saw our server again. We were already almost finished with it our food by this time. I didn’t see her at all, waited for a while then I finally got up and went to the bar area and saw her standing there talking and started to get on her phone when she saw me raise my hand to get her attention. We needed refills, a to go box, and to order dessert all at once. Ate the dessert and waited again. I saw some workers coming from bar area and thought the hostess was her but it wasn’t, then they ended up calling her so we could pay. For being her only table I shouldn’t have to be constantly looking for her.
Ordered over the phone 9/10 order was wrong the restaurant closed and this afternoon the teammember said the manager isn't going to answer my call so I will be going up to the restaurant rn my total was almost 70 $ and I understand mistakes happen but this is ridiculous
This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a Chili's. Our entire dinner service took about 2 hours, and they were not even that busy. Our waitress first came by and took our drink order, and those came out pretty fast. She also took our appetizer order shortly after. We had ordered the triple dipper. She then went to put in the appetizer and we didn't see her for another 15 minutes. During that time, another waitress brought us a chips and salsa that we didn't order. After our waitress finally came back, we had tried to explain to her that we didn't order the Chips and Salsa app and we ordered the triple dipper. She back talked to us saying that we didn't order the triple dipper and we ordered the chips and salsa. Then after a little back and forth with her, she went to correct her mistake and we didn't see her again until our food came out 40 minutes later. She also brought out the triple dipper at the same time. She was continuously giving half-apologies claiming that she was the server running the entire floor as they had nothing but new hires working. I completely understand working with newly hired people, however, her saying she was "running the floor" was an overstatement. I saw plenty of the new hires running around the floor and she was nowhere to be found for the majority of the service. The food only got a higher rating due to the fact that it came out warm. Never going back!
Would give no stars if I could. So disappointed. Ribeye was way over cooked and looks nasty. Nachos look disgusting. No salsa or anything with nachos. My daughter suggested chili’s for my birthday and now I remember why I don’t go there. Seriously how can you serve such awful food!! My ribeye doesn’t even look like beef it looks like a big pork chop. Gross!!!
WHY midland has such bad service in the food industry beats me. We will not come back here. We waited for about 15 minutes just to be noticed after being seated and then waited about 30 minutes just to get our food and when we finally got it the sauce on my food was dried up and cold. The manager didn't even apologize about it, then when we got our cheesecake that came with our meal we couldn't even eat it because it was frozen. After we were done and we were ready to pay we noticed they messed up our bill by trying to charge us for the remake of my cold dry food and had to go get someone to help us for the second time because no one ever came to our table. This place over all just sucked completely.
Have gone 3 times this passed 2 weeks and its like the service gets worse each time, tonight I ordered the surf and turf sirloin plate there was no shrimp and my steak was over cooked, couldn't tell the waiter because after he set our food down he left for 30minutes , at that point my kids were restless and ready to go i asked for a box he gave us one and walked off we paid and left,the appetizer was pretty good but he didnt give any of us refills and only came to the table 3 times out of the entire time.it wasn't busy at all only us and one 2 other tables on that side of the restaurant.
Filthy environment. They sat us at a table with food all under us. Tried to sit us at the torn up seat booth. Waitress was kind but blamed the drive thru guy on our food taking long. (Didn’t take too long actually). Employees playing with their hair while prepping utensil bags. Very low standards here. Door guy was kind but couldn’t smile to save his life.
Horrible service! Was told to wait an hour for a table when there were barely people waiting. 3 waiters was just standing in front of the door doing absolutely nothing. There’s a lot of empty tables but they’re not seating anyone. Surprised how low Chili’s have gone down in customer service.
Decided to order Chili’s to go - not only did they forget 1/3 of my order and dipping sauces, but the quality of the food was something else. The Classic Nachos were literally soggy mess of corn tortillas with burnt black beans and slathered in Chile con Queso. How do you mess up nachos?! The lettuce on my Caesar side salad was brown and wilted… just inedible all the way around. Super disappointing that people don’t take pride in their work, no matter what it is. Remember 20 years ago when Chili’s in Midland was good, like really good?
Food was terrible. Barely warm. Didn’t even finish. I would not recommend.
Absolutely atrocious service. Over an hour and a half for a couple bowls of soup and a half rack of ribs. on a Wednesday. Annnnd the order was very wrong.
We had a very disappointing experience at this Chili’s, mainly because of the woman at the front door. When we arrived, she told us to wait to be seated. While we were waiting, a group of American customers arrived after us and she seated them immediately, even though we had been there first. This situation felt unfair and discriminatory, and it made us feel ignored simply because we are Latino. Everyone deserves equal and respectful treatment, and unfortunately that was not the case here. This experience completely ruined our visit.
If I could give this Chili’s less than 1 star I would! The waiter was so so but other than that it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Let’s start with staff attitude, it was terrible & the tension in the room was very unpleasant. The girl who brought our drinks informed us they were out of chips. What? But it wasn’t just that, her attitude was so crappy & she was so rude it was astonishing. She asked if we wanted something different but didn’t have the patience to let us pick something else & walked away while we were looking at the menu to pick something else. When the waiter finally came over, he explained they had chips but the chips those were only for nachos. So you wouldn’t break open a bag and serve those to the customer who is asking for chips? M K I went ahead & ordered the sampler as it was pictured. It was meh. It came to the table lukewarm at best. I don’t think we should have been charged for it considering it wasn’t what we wanted! Or at least to be charged the same as what the chips cost. I ordered fajitas, but they were out of sour cream. What? Here is what sealed this review…the meat was sour!!!!!!! A couple bites into it & my stomach hurt so bad! Clearly, the meat was spoiled & they served it anyway. This all boils down to poor management! When a restaurant runs out of their most served basic items such as chips it’s a lack of preparation. Serving spoiled sour meat is absolutely ridiculous! And the attitude of the staff is a reflection of how much they enjoy the job….poor management! I want to make it clear, our waiter was fine but clearly he was too busy & needed some help. Again, poor management! NO, I would NOT recommend!
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Tried charging 142$ on a 64$ ticket. Then was out of the food we ordered. When asking about my refund was told I just should stop coming since they are out of the food we ordered. I’m not sure if the manager Alejandro was having a busy and bad day. But his service was horrible.
A Comedy of Errors at Midland Chili’s – Felt Like a Prank Show We visited this Chili’s in Midland during a work trip, and honestly, it felt like we were on some kind of hidden camera prank show. Just about everything that could go wrong in a restaurant went hilariously wrong. Orders were mixed up in every possible way: a burger that was supposed to have no cheese and added jalapeños came out with cheese and no jalapeños; a cheeseburger came out with pickles (which our coworker absolutely did not want) and no cheese at first; and a lettuce wrap burger never showed up until we asked multiple times. By the time it did arrive, it was wrong again and had to be remade repeatedly. We all ended up laughing because it was like a ridiculous comedy of errors. Different servers kept bringing out the food each time, and no one seemed to know what anyone had ordered. It was like they didn't even check the tickets. The staff were pretty rude and never really came by to check on us or apologize, and we spent about an hour and a half just trying to get a simple meal. In the end, it was more frustrating than funny, and we definitely won't be coming back.
Came on a suday and hostess didn’t care to acknowledge much less sit my party. Tried again a few days later to finally get seated for two people just to not be acknowledged again by workers for a good 20 minutes until we decided to get up and leave.
Ordered a steak medium, came back very well done. Never got refills, never got the guacamole we ordered. Still paid $75 not including the tip for gross food and poor service. Save your money!
Our server was quick to get our drinks and check back to make sure we were ready to order. Our table was still dirty from the previous customers and my husband had to ask to have it cleaned. Our server came back with a wet napkin to wipe part of the table down. We started ordering and got to my husband and he wasn’t done ordering and he jumped to me for my order. I asked to have a Texas lemonade brought over when the food arrived and the server told me to remind him when we got our food and he’d bring me one. It never got delivered, and he never asked if I still wanted the drink. He also never asked if we wasn’t a refill on our chips and salsa. I had to ask for my daughter’s side of broccoli as well as ranch that was supposed to come with my dish and the guacamole that I asked to add. He wasn’t very busy, and that I could see he only had 4 tables total. We will not be returning.
We ordered Curbside this evening. When we got home to eat we realized my wife did not have the extra Avocado she ordered and paid for, nor did she have the Avocado Ranch dressing that was supposed to come with her salad. I then realized that I did not have the dressing that usually comes with the Quesadilla Chicken Salad. So, my wife called the restaurant to get a refund on the meal as we weren't going to drive back. The Manager(either Alicia, or Teresa, not sure which one because I couldn't get a straight answer when I asked) hung up on my wife. I then called back to complete the refund and when she agreed to the refund I asked her to tell me what the refund amount would be. She then said, "Oh my god!"..... communicated the refund amount and when I told her, "Thank you, ma'am", she hung up on me too. When one orders dinner, it's because one wants the convenience of taking a night off, relaxing and eating a good meal. It's incredibly frustrating to get home only to notice the order is wrong. This is unacceptable behavior of anyone, but especially of one in a leadership position. She is leading by example and when her employees see this type of behaviors they will think it's acceptable for them to treat customers with disrespect. This mistake was not ours to bear, it was theirs and she should have been respectful, courteous, and empathetic to the customer for getting an incomplete order. This manager should not be in a leadership position and reprimanded accordingly. I was polite and respectful to her, she should have reciprocated. For this customer service I am giving the restaurant a 1 star and will spread the word far and wide with all friends and colleagues NOT to give Chili's their business.They don't deserve it. Where have peoples manners gone? What happened to customer service? She ought to be ashamed of herself. Respectfully.
