Dining at Vik Pellico, located above the Galleria in Milan, was a truly memorable experience from start to finish. The evening began with a selection of bread served with butter and high-quality olive oil, a refined and welcoming introduction. As a starter, we chose the octopus with potato cream, glasswort, and black olive powder. The octopus was cooked perfectly, tender, flavorful, and expertly handled. The potato cream was smooth and comforting, while the black olive powder added depth and intensity, creating a beautifully balanced and elegant dish. For the main course, we tried the Chianina beef with sweet potato cream and millefeuille potatoes. This was, without exaggeration, the best beef I have ever had. Exceptionally tender, aromatic, and rich in flavor, it was perfectly complemented by the sauce and the beautifully layered potatoes, crisp and delicate at the same time. A truly outstanding dish. We paired our meal with Viña Vik, the restaurant’s own dry red wine, which proved to be an excellent choice. Well-structured and refined, it paired beautifully with both the octopus and the beef, enhancing the overall experience. After the main courses, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary amuse-bouche: olive-based spheres that burst in the mouth, almost ice-like in texture, releasing an intense olive flavor, accompanied by a chef’s sauce that was both creative and intriguing, a refined and playful touch. Dessert was a raspberry pavlova, filled with fresh raspberries and topped with raspberry sorbet. Light, fresh, and perfectly balanced, it was the ideal ending to the meal. The service throughout the evening was impeccable, professional, polite, and genuinely attentive. We had made a reservation in advance and were seated at a table by the window, enjoying a beautiful view over the Galleria, which added even more charm to the atmosphere. Overall, the experience at Vik Pellico was flawless. The quality of the food, the elegance of the service, and the unique location fully justify the pricing, which is in line with the restaurant’s standards and setting. An exceptional dining experience that I would gladly repeat.

Even if inside "La Galleria", a very touristic place, the food and the service is of a really high quality!! During Christmas time we enjoyed the direct view to the big central tree!! Highly recommended!!! 👌

The ambiance in the restaurant is an elegant modern vibe with classic jazz and a strong selection of art. Being above the Galleria is also fun. The food was delicious and there is an extensive wine and liquor list. There are several specialty cocktails and we enjoyed ours. This is a good value at menu prices but exceptional if you find a deal online like we did.

I was here with my mom, and Grace served us from beginning to end with such professionalism and empathy, which made our whole experience so much better🩷 We each had one à la carte dish for a quick bite, and even with that, the service was top-notch. She adjusted to our needs and was always smiling. The view was fantastic as well, but her service made it an even better experience. Thank you, Grace!

Great location and concept for an art gallery restaurant. Depending on your table, you can enjoy some stunning views of the Galleria. We visited in the afternoon with family and young children, and overall felt welcomed with selection of vegetarian dishes. The only drawback was the long wait between the main course and dessert—we had to ask for the dessert menu twice. That said, the service was otherwise good, and I appreciated that they kept my sunglasses safe after I had forgotten them.

Pro tip: look at ‘the fork’ before reserving a table. We got a 50% deal for our lunch. As for the restaurant, our experience was great. The food was delicious; in the ossobuco alla milanese con risotto, the meat is sweet and melts in your mouth. The other dish was exceptional, too. Another perk of this place is the view to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The public flow throughout the space grants a captivating atmosphere.

Very friendly staff explaining all the dishes. Much appreciated the wine tasting of the 4 wines of the own Vinery of the restaurant in Chile in order to better decide. And the food !! AMAZING !! The prices are indeed expensive but with 50% off with the fork it is definitely a restaurant to try. The overlooking the galleria Vittorio Emanuele is fantastic and the place hosts many modern artworks. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful first dinner in Italy at Vik. The location couldn’t have been better—on the second floor overlooking the stunning Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which made for a memorable setting. The interior was modern and elegant, adding to the overall experience. Service was professional and attentive throughout. We were unsure about which wine would pair well with the variety of dishes we ordered, but the manager offered a spot-on recommendation that complemented everything beautifully. We started with the Prosciutto Ibérico “Joselito” con pan cristal e pomodoro. The flavors were mellow yet rich—the combination of the tomato bread and the ham was perfectly balanced and delicious. For our main courses, we chose to skip primi and go straight to secondi, which turned out to be a good call since the portions were generous. We ordered the Ossobuco di vitello con risotto alla Milanese, Filetto di Chianina, and Branzino grigliato. I personally had the ossobuco, and it was phenomenal. The veal was incredibly tender, and the saffron risotto soaked up all the savory flavors beautifully. The bone marrow was a luxurious touch. Overall, this was an outstanding meal. As my first dinner in Italy, it set the bar high and made me even more excited to explore Italian cuisine during my trip.
