We were browsing for dinner while visitng the Naviglio Canal City Walk when we found Posto di Conversazione. We saw reviews of this location being known for it's Milanese dishes so we gave it a try. We ordered the meatballs, Tagliatelle con Ragu and Risotto alla Milanese con Vitello (veal). Finished with tiramisu and hazelnut creme brulee. Ambience inside the restaurant is nice. Waiter spoke English which helped us. Food was tasty

You know a restaurant is serious when they are using San Marzano Tomatoes, food here was seriously delicious. Salmon Tartare was great. We normally don't like Risotto but this was the first risotto we've liked. Jonathan was a funny and fast waiter

It was a packed Friday night, and we patiently waited for at least 30 mins for a table if you want to seat outdoor. There's a few tables for indoor which is available, but seating will take time due to only 2 or 3 waiters are working. No rush customers as they really take time to serve you exceptionally good food Milanese food. Very chill to have dinner. Jonathan Jesus serves us and did a great job. The octopus starter is really soft and tender. I have never had such a good octopus like this before. Must try if you could. Risotto milanese style is cheesey and I prefer to eat it when it's still warm and hot. Cold risotto doesn't taste good to me. Pasta Paccheri seafood is good too if you are into seafood. This is suitable for someone doesn't want to have cheesy meal.

Incredibly welcoming and attentive servers. The starters of Milanese meatballs and Octopus were lovely, and the main course, pictured (Guinea fowl tortellini and lamb special) were fantastic. Delightful presentation and taste. We enjoyed the cocktails and desserts very much. Unfortunately we didn’t get the name of our waiter (with the fork bracelet!) today, but he was spectacular! Half waiter, half actor - we loved it. So we enjoyed sitting directly by the canal, watching the people stroll by while we had delicious food (starter, secondi & dolci). Absolutely recommended.

Authentic Italian food. A beautiful view of the Naviglio Grande. The ravioli were very tasty and the osso buco with risotto Milanese was phenomenal. The waiters are Italian, which is great.

That was a great find during my stay in Milan. The service was great - staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The veal on the risotto was so well cooked and tender that I did not need a knife. The desserts were amazing as well. You can enjoy a good tiramisu here unlike many other restaurants. You can taste all flavours of it and the mascarpone is well-beaten so it feels light.

Absolutely amazing experience. The food is really good. I had some fresh ravioli and the risotto with ossobuco is truly amazing. But the best experience I had was with the service provided by Nicolo. This is the best by the last 10 years (no, I am not exaggerating). He has a perfect timing, recommends good wines with the dishes ordered and is completely in control of what is happening on his terrace. The view next to the water is making the experience complete. 100% recommendation.

Location accogliente e suggestiva tipo Vecchia Milano. Visuale sul Naviglio impagabile. Risotto giallo con ossobuco buono. Classici mondeghili milanesi serviti con tipica salsina verde buoni! Servizio nei tempi e personale attento al Cliente. Da provare!!

Che bontà!! Io e il mio ragazzo eravamo sui navigli a Milano e non sapevamo dove mangiare e abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante e non ce ne siamo assolutamente pentiti anzi. Il cameriere che ci ha accolti è stato super carino e gentile perché ci ha fatto sedere all’istante all’esterno del ristorante, in un tavolo al sole. Piatti buonissimi, a partire dal primo: GARGANELLI CON RAGU BIANCO DI CONIGLIO E CARCIOFI , pasta consistente, sugo di coniglio molto saporito e porzioni abbondanti, come secondo abbiamo assaggiato OCA IN ONTO COTTA A BASSA TEMPERATURA CON PURE ed era super buona. Prezzi forse leggermente sopra la media, ma è capibile dato che sei sui navigli.

L’ambiente è molto carino, frequentato da molte persone ma comunque non fastidioso. Si sa però che andando in ristoranti in posti come questo il rischio è quello di essere disturbati da venditori ambulanti durante la cena. Il servizio è molto buono, i camerieri piuttosto attenti e cortesi. Il cibo veramente molto buono. La trippa fritta era veramente buona, idem le polpette. Il riso con le pesche e castelmagno molto particolare, ma veramente piacevole. Il prezzo, visto l’ambiente e il cibo servito, è adatto.

Tornato il 31/10/2019 Stavolta il servizio è stato buono. I piatti si confermano ottimi. In particolare il risotto con l'osso buco. Ottimi anche gli gnocchi con gli scampi. Accettabile anche il vino della casa e molto appezzati i dolcetti serviti col caffè. Motivo per cui da 3 stelle stasera lo passo a 4. Ci sono stato il 20/12/2015. Le pietanze si sono rivelate molto buone nella tipica cucina milanese. Abbiamo preso un antipasto, un primo e un ossobuco. Tuttavia forse per inesperienza o disattenzione del cameriere che ci ha servito, il servizio non è stato soddisfacente: dopo l'antipasto hanno dimenticato la nostra comanda che quindi è stata tardiva e non ci hanno portato come a tutti il cestino del pane. Spero siano circostanze sfortunate. I prezzi sono medio alti come in tutti i locali dei navigli.

Pizza, buona, ma non è una pizzeria, per cui sicuramente non il loro cavallo di battaglia. La cotoletta alla milanese, un po’ stopposa, magari la serata no. Servizio celere e dinamico. In generale, bravi.

Oggi siamo stati da Posto di Conversazione a Milano. All’inizio abbiamo passato diversi locali turistici, che non fanno molto per noi, tranne uno. Poi, dall’altra parte della strada, abbiamo trovato questo posto accogliente. È stata un’esperienza fantastica! Cibo delizioso, piatti ben presentati, ottimo vino e birra, servizio cordiale. In particolare, l’oste albanese è stato davvero autentico. Il cameriere con la coda potrebbe invece essere un po’ più gentile con i clienti stranieri… Che sia un piatto principale o un dessert, qui siete nel posto giusto!

Ero stato anni fa e me lo ricordavo ottimo. Questa volta posso dire buono. Piatti della tradizione meneghina. Location Naviglio Grande ottima.

Il posto di Conversazione resta uno dei migliori ristoranti sul Naviglio Grande. Sabato sera forse non è la migliore serata per fargli visita. Location splendida e accoglienza attenta e sollecita. Antipasti: puntarelle con la salsina un po’ anonima che va a snaturare la tradizionale ricetta senza aggiungere nulla Cotechino buono, ma va bene la concettualità, però forse le fettine di un millimetro di spessore sono eccessivamente sottili e si perdono nell’insieme. Piatti principali: Ottimo risotto con ossobuco, riso di buon livello Cappellacci decisamente migliorabili: serviti con ripieno freddo e tartufo impercettibile Camerieri stanchi ma simpatici e professionali. Un minimo di cultura di cucina milanese sarebbe utile.

Excellent location and ambiance on the outdoor patio - food and service are just ok. Decent Italian but nothing special. We had pasta bolognese and ossobucco risotto and they were both ok. Great neighborhood and lovely atmosphere outdoors during summer nights.

My experience at this place was decent overall. The outdoor seating offered a nice view, adding to the ambiance. The staff were alright, friendly enough to make the experience pleasant. However, I found the food portion to be just okay, nothing exceptional.

Typical and nonetheless original restaurant for the Milan food you love, special for your cold winter night. Ossobuco is quite good and the only downsize is that it is locates in a touristic area, thus fish in the menu. Quiet atmosphere and waiters very professional!

We visited this restaurant with an open mind, knowing that Milan is not typically renowned for pasta, so we did not arrive with very high expectations. The pasta dishes were fine, nothing extraordinary, while the charcuterie board was truly enjoyable and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. The waiter who attended our table had a rather unusual attitude, he was far from cordial and, at times, gave the impression of being uncomfortable or even displeased when we asked simple questions about the menu. Overall, the service lacked the warmth and professionalism we would have hoped for, which significantly impacted our experience.

Posto di Conversazione boasts a great location in the vibrant Navigli area, providing a pleasant ambiance for dining. The service, while acceptable, felt a bit forcibly sophisticated, which detracted from the overall experience. The prices are on the higher side for the area, which would be more justified with better attention to detail. Unfortunately, the Prosecco was served warm, and the roast beef arrived cold. On a positive note, the mussels and the seafood pastas were delicious and well-prepared. The entrée were nice even if I did not understand were the fiori di zucca were in the pastella Overall, it was a nice experience, but there's definitely room for improvement, particularly with the service and ensuring food is served at the right temperature.

Terrible experience. After more than 24 hours on the road, this was the first restaurant we visited while we were waiting for check-in time. The meat balls are like a soybean cutlet with no flavor. The shellfish pasta ended up with sand and pieces of crushed shells! It was impossible to eat. Not at all what you expect from Italian pasta. We did not receive any napkins or extras. The bread was brought to us exactly at the moment when we had already finished eating. The head waiter shows his dissatisfaction with all his appearance (it’s just unclear why exactly). The only nice person is the waiter's assistant. Thanks to him for his pleasant attitude towards everyone, regardless of whether you are local or a visitor.
