Can I just say, it was awesome to go here with my family, growing up my parents would always take me and my brother to eat and it has been a staple in my life, San Mateo sort of sucks cause they took it out, but thank goodness Millbrae and mountain view still has it

I love their food. They have a nice variety. And unlike Subway, KFC honors coupons.

Stop by KFC today ( 06/01/22) they have open the lobby for eating again, although this well behind Mc Donald’s, Carl’s Jr., BK, and others. When traveling don’t like eating inside my car because the lobby is closed.

I think KFC has improved their chicken sandwich, probably a result of competition with Popeye's. They definitely still lack in consistency: good one week and then today's tasted like someone spilled a lot of salt in the batter. The staff was very friendly so I upped it to 4 stars.

I am giving it four stars mostly due to it being an A&W and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Root beer made fresh on site makes for a delicious root beer float or freeze. The cheese curds are great too. With the OSH closed and no store replacing it, the parking lot takes on a forboding air that makes the drive thru a lot more appealing. Bathroom should really be fixed up too.

Ordered a two piece $5 box and got a free original breast b/c they were running low on grilled chicken. Place was a bit dirty. Did not need to use the bathroom. Plenty of parking.

Drive thru was delayed because customer arguing with staff about an order. Line backed up and food got cold. Next time staff should have car pull around & Park to dispute order so line keeps moving.

Food took a little while but they did seem to be short staffed. But very friendly people that even chased us down in the parking lot to give us the rest of our order we forgot!! I had not had KFC since I left Iowa last year....I loved it!!!

Average fast food. The chicken was cooked before, it was a few hours old.

They NEED to put things back on the Menu ! For starters the Fish filet sold separately like before with a side of tartar sauce you can buy two three pieces individually they took that away so sad now they only have the fish sandwich. They also need to get back there wedge potato fries, and their chicken littles not the fat piece of chicken back in the days in the late 80s 90s they had chicken littles they were like 50 cents flat little bun Square bun with a flat little chicken patty and it only had mayonnaise on it those were the best not to mention the chicken is getting smaller every time you buy a chicken breast you get charged for it and it's so small it's like where's the meat the chicken pot pies used to be nice and creamy now they're dry. Not to mention they desperately need to get back the popcorn chicken not the big pieces the one that they had before they had so many wonderful items that have been taken away they need to bring it back before they start losing more people KFC is not KFC like it used to be the people are good but the food is getting bad is getting worse corporate you need to do something about this you bring back these things your store will come back a hundred that's a guarantee💯💯💯❤

I have a lot of questions for KFC especially with that stupid decision to remove the legendary Hot Wings and replace them with the crappier version of Wing Stop wings. However that's a gripe with KFC HQ so I won't fault this particular KFC. This KFC has a good location with plenty of seats and large parking space that's shared with OSH. The drive thru can be a hit and miss because I've had cases of messed up orders or lack of dipping sauces but those are probably true of any minimum wage places. Overall it's a KFC so you know what you get. I like that you can get a good deal if you check your mail and the original and extra crispy are still good. I just really wish they can get the old Hot Wings back because I used to order 3 20-piece combos every single week. This KFC also has A&W but one thing I dislike this particular KFC is that it doesn't carry the KFC sweet and sour sauce which was a staple in most KFCs.

Rude. they made a mistake on my food, I told her she has to toss it very dramatically. With a bad attidude . Hey im paying, for my food! not like im getting it for free! I' i'm​ not coming here again. Place is dirty, floor is filthy, an chairs​ in the booth is is al rip up. How old they are.

The two stars was for the great customer service, that will be the one and only good thing I say about this place. I ordered a 6pc hot wing 🤢 to say the less it was over breaded and over cooked.

On 6/15/2020, ordered the 10 piece for $10 special. Original thigh and drumsticks. The batter is not the same and chicken overcooked. So disappointed.

A couple of school girls were super disruptive and thinking they are being funny. I didn't notice but watched them, giggling. Taking pics. Til I saw what they were up too. One had gotten up earlier and filled her cup a mouthful. Sat back down. Loud and being rude. Were actually making a huge mess! Mash potatoes, piled napkins, chicken box upside down, poured drink, etc on the table. I wished I picked this up sooner. I would have asked them to leave for the mod. Mod was in the back. Doing something. I felt so bad because these girls walked over to counter. Said rude things before walking out and laughing. My fingers had chicken of course so couldnt just video or take pics. These girls were just out of control! To their parents. Nice upbringing! So put pics on the board of Banned. Parents walk in with them. Ban them too. Inexcusable. I haven't been here since covid. And it's under new management It seems. I was making my order. But the order takers was just being so rude. I told her. She was being rude and don't appreciate it. She acted not so friendly. Didn't ask if crispy or reg or if I wanted a drink? Ended up getting separate order. Because of drink. I really miss the old KFC crew before new mgt. The old crew knew your names and told you about specials and were nice!

Hold your breathe, the smell of the whole joint is like the garbage can outside. Of course, the food is desirable but the taste doesn't excuse anything. The fries are great(potato wedges). San Bruno is better off with.

Root beer was supposed to be made here but it's bland and flat, ordered the spicy chicken and mac bowl and it had a ton of oil in it, which put me off from eating

Had their Chicken Bowl and felt like throwing up. Too much gravy and potatoes. I would suggest you have rice instead. The chicken breading has too much salt. This is not yummy chicken, mostly high calorie and high salt breading. 🤮The only thing I liked here was the A&W, KFC one stop shop.

Terrible service. Make you park while in drive thru to lie to the sensor and the owner. Disgusting behavior.

It's sad, Colonel Sanders will be flipping in his grave. Chicken was super greasy, and everyone knows that real Fried Chicken should never be greasy. And what happened to all the herbs and spices that made original recipe great?

Slow, unprofessional service ("Hey dude", "hey man"). Also, the windows of the food warmers were very disgusting & dirty. Cashier had to keep asking the kitchen if they had certain types of chicken prepared (this is Kentucky Fried CHICKEN right? Then continued to give 5-15 minute wait times for every item ordered.

I won't be back, I like extra mayo on sandwich but they refused. They don't care about customer satisfaction nor my business. It's like if you're used to eating a steak with salt but being denied the salt.

ImI made this complaint for bad service Why? Because I made order pieces and they put always one pieces less. I talked with manager and she saw the error and never apologize tks

Worst KFC ever!!! I ordered 8 pieces crispy bucket and was very disappointed. The chickens were like soaked in oil and left overnight. Dont ever go to this KFC, take another5 mins drive to Popeyes instead.

KFC taste and quality of chicken and sides are long gone due to retaining unsold food longer, cheaper ingredients from different food wholesalers. Cook at home or hire someone to for great tasting quality food and less money spent.🤑

I've been going here occasionally for my lunch breaks from work. At first the food was great, but recently they've gone way down hill. Every time I've gone in the last few months, the chicken has been old, bland and dry. Today it was pretty much inedible. Idk if there is new staff or something, but I probably won't be going back for a while. It's not worth wasting money on food I may or may not be able to eat.

Placed a order on line, order was ready when I got there,bag was sealed, when I got home ,found out order was wrong and missing items, went back next day, manager refused to make it right,she told me that they double check the orders and I was lying, refused to give me her name, and told me to leave and have a nice day.place is always empty, you would think they could get order right ,since there not busy

Was told to hold on when I was the only customer in the drive through. Afterwards waited 10 minutes to be told by another person to wait please. Then as I decide to give up and go inside I drive past the window and see the two people talking at the window. Wow great job and fast food employees want $15 an hour. Right, no way!

Don't eat the "NEW" macaroni and cheese bowls from here! The workers here definitely don't read the instructions on how to make because you are left with the runniest mac n cheese possible! If you dare to attempt, stop by Walgreens and stock up on toilet paper and Pepto first!

You guys can take your time cooking fresh chicken instead of serving bad chicken. Nobody at the store answered my call. It pissed me off! Never gonna trust KFC ever again.

I was the only person in the drive-thru tonight on my way to work. They handed me my food within seconds of pulling up to the window and I thought, “Hm. That doesn’t bode well for freshness. But I guess there were a lot of cars parked in the lot, so maybe they’re just busy and keeping the supply cycling through.” I drove the 9 minutes to work and opened up my meal in the car in the parking lot. This is the most disgustingly stale chicken I’ve ever eaten. I’m starving and don’t have time to get anything else, so if I get sick I’ll come back and let you know with an edit. But at least know that this KFC is NOT up to par. The Colonel should come back from the grave and haunt the jerks who think it’s ok to serve this nastiness.

Then she snatched the box of chicken and rolled her eyes at me. Then she went to get me new chicken and she went in the back and started talking in Spanish. She was talking about me and was mad she was talking to her coworkers they are all females. She didn't know I was Mexican and I understood everything she said about me. Her and her coworkers were talking about me. And the chicken she gave me was cold. I was pissed. I called the the hire up people. They didn't call me back or anything. They sent me an email saying they are giving me my money back. But I think the whole crew of females should get fired. They are very rude and disrespectful to be talking and treating a customer like how I got treated. I want something done. They all need to get fired. And someone needs to pick up the phone and call me. And I always use to go there. Not no more! Not till they get a new crew.
