When I first walked in, I walked over to the beer wall not knowing (since it was my first time there) but since work frowns upon drinking during your lunch break I couldn't sample any of the liquid goodness. Now onto the good stuff, I originally came here because a coworker gave me half his sandwich the day before and left me wanting more, so I found myself at Food Fix. I looked over the menu and found Porchetta Muffaletta which was phenomenal. The flavor combination is amazing and rich in flavor, my only issue is that I wish it were a larger sandwich (I wish that for everything I enjoy eating)… Now, the Strami mac. It was a whole different experience on it's own, and my words alone won't do it any justice. All I can say is that I recommend it, and I'll be coming back. I'll just call it in first next time.

The best cookies ever. They have delicious homemade pickles also. They just opened their bakery next door and it’s Fabulous. From homemade salted caramel bread pudding to every cookie flavor you could imagine. Love this place ☮️💟

They took the time to understand our vision and delivered a menu that was not only beautifully presented but absolutely delicious. The staff on the day of the wedding were courteous, efficient, and blended seamlessly with the flow of the event. They made sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day. If you’re looking for a catering team that goes above and beyond, look no further. Pork Belly Banh Mi—best sandwich I’ve ever had. Rich, balanced, and full of flavor. I waited 15 min before being acknowledged at the bar (wasn’t busy), but once helped, service was kind and smooth. Food: 10/10. Atmosphere: 9.5. Highly recommend

Grabbed takeout dinner here and food was really tasty. The mac and cheese was amazing and the sandwich was fantastic. Fries were just ok. The atmosphere and service were great and I would definitely go back.

I used FoodFix's catering for a company lunch. Their catering service is top-tier, and everyone enjoyed the food—especially their mac-n-cheese and attention to detail! The owner, Hank, really amazed me. He was so patient with us as we adjusted our headcount multiple times—adding more people, then reducing, then adding more food again. I was pretty embarrassed to change our order so many times, but Hank reassured me that his priority was making sure we got exactly what we needed. The quality of the food and attention to detail, even making sure he packed a serving spoon for our tray of mac-n-cheese, plates, napkins, extra sides, was impressive. 👌 Thanks to Hank and his crew, I will be ordering from here again in the future. Check out their box lunch menu for catering but also give Hank a call and he work with you and be flexible. Love supporting a great local business!

Nice beer selection. The server was hella cool. Forget her name but she deserved a shot out because some of the regulars seemed like they would be annoying to have to deal with all the time

Amazing food. I’ve never tried anything on the menu that was less than delicious… though it’s difficult to try all the items on the menu because of food FOMO. We often do carry out for a quick lunch, but dine in has a fun vibe. Seats fill up fast! It’s one of our favorite lunch spots.

We're new to Modesto and had a great experience here. The service was friendly and accommodating. We sat outside on the patio with our service dog, and they even brought her a water dish. The food was excellent, especially the pulled pork. The bread on the sandwiches was sheer perfection, fresh baked cookies amazing! I'm definitely going back soon to try all their microbrewed beers.

The food, beer selection, and service at this place never disappoint. My husband and I come here pretty regularly. We have to force ourselves to go other places for date nights. They prep all their own ingredients- they slow cook the meats and bake the rolls for the sandwiches, so the quality is always outstanding. Prices are pretty average for the area. If you get a sandwich and a beer you'll spend around $25 per person. The space is open and comfortable with plenty of seating, and they've added a bunch of additional outdoor seating as well. I'd definitely recommend this place (and do recommend it to friends regularly). Also adding in that they have brunch on Sundays with mimosas!

I came to this food truck years ago because of this legend I heard of this guy making pastrami out of pork. I start eating, mind blown, Guy Fieri staring at me from his picture on the side of the truck like "i told you it was good". To this day I've never ordered anything else, just now it's in a restaurant. It is one of the only foods in Modesto I get truly excited about. I don't even like honey mustard that much and I would drink this one. His partner makes the pretzel bun next door even.

We visited on. Thursday afternoon around d 2pm. It was not busy at all. We got our food and drinks super quickly. Good variety of beers on tap. I got the cranberry cider, and it was great. We ordered sandwiches all around. Food was excellent. So good. The jalapeno mac and cheese was just right. We also got the Filthy fries. Also excellent. Definitely coming back. Service was also great, friendly and fast.

The prices seemed high to me at first but then I realized almost everything was artisanal, and the portions very generous. I am very glad I decided to try it!! Hands down some of the best food I have had in Modesto and the craftsmanship that goes into every component is admirable. The #16 tap fruited sour was one of the best beers I have ever had. I had the peppered sandwich at recommendation and it was so good! I will definitely be coming back and bringing anyone that I can with me

It was flavorful, juicy, tender and just checked all the boxes. The place is clean, laid back and was very enjoyable to be in. The staff was happy and friendly which is a rarity these days. They had a nice selection of craft beers as well as homemade desserts. The only problem I found with this place is that they are not down the street from my house. I'd go back daily if I could!

First time here. Did not check reviews which i usually do. I had the Northern burger well done. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had! I had it to go and was surprised to see veggies were put separate so burger wouldn't be soggy. So thoughtful! Bread was soft and everything just went well together. Fries were tasty as well. I wasn't too sure if my 7 year old would eat them but he loved them too. I did say yes to ranch and ketchup but was disappointed when it wasn't on bag. Food would have tasted even better. A bit pricy for my liking but will love to go here for my birthday in June! Definitely give it a try.

Friendly staff, clean place, great selection of food. Don't sleep on the pretzel pastrami! Might be the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had, it's incredible!

Overall the meats and appetizers are pretty good. If my family comes down to modesto I'll definitely recommend. Bread was slightly dry, but overall still good.

We will be back. Enjoyed the food. The employees made it a very happy enjoyable experience. I need & want to try more items on their menu. 😁

I've been here a couple of times & I thought it was about time to review it. I love the vibe in here, it's laidback & comfy for me. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. If you aren't sitting at the bar, you just walk up to the counter & they take your order & hand you a number and you seat yourself. They have a good selection of beer, always a plus! The menu is a majority burgers and sandwiches with a hint of salads. Limited on the vegetarian options. I do like how instead of "Soup of the Day" they have "Mac of the Day" which is a different type of Mac n Cheese. I ended up ordering the Monterey Mac (Mac of the Day) & Rattlesnake Fries without black beans. The mac was good but I preferred the Rattlesnake Fries were YUMS! The fries are on the thinner side & were seasoned (Old Bay, I think, I could be wrong) --- I would definitely get again!

The Swine Dive just about lives up to being a $21 sandwich. It is creative and delicious. Savor it to get your money’s worth. Eat your fries between bites: the fries are amazing while piping hot. Staff gets in the weeds pretty easily, so if you have a time crunch, order ahead.

The BBQ sauce is so tasty! When I ordered, I asked the wait time and was told "no longer than 10 minutes". There was approximately 5 people who ordered before me. It took 15 minutes, which I found to be pretty impressive that they were able to push food out that quick. My piece of advice is to go before 1145 am otherwise you will have a little longer wait. They currently have no phone line to accept preorders.

Bread was super soft and fresh. The pork itself was just a tad tough. Potato salad was decent, with nice chunks of bacon (porkstrami?) in it.

Great in theory but not well executed. The kitchen is not being well regulated to what I assume the chef's intentions are. The root beer pork bahn mi has great bread and good pork, but the ratio of meat to coleslaw was 1:2. The wagyu might have been great, but the burgers were all painfully overcooked. I should've asked for medium rare, relied on chef rec of medium, and they all came out like charcoal. No one actually ever asked if the food was okay either. The porkstrami was good but not well executed in sandwich, which makes me think the chef is not aware of the lower quality his food is being sent out as. Mac n cheese was pretty good, a little spicy, but came out cold. Also, the kids grilled cheese was mostly bread. Looks cool but probably not the way it's supposed to be..

I really wanted to like this place, but I should of stuck to the original plan and had my meal at taqueria Cardenas. I was initially impressed by the presentation and portion size. Unfortunately that was it. Sandwich lacked flavor and seasoning. Honestly it tasted like imitation crab. I think that a little bit of effort would go a long way, also I dont know whats going on with the jalapenos and pickles but that S is nasty.
