The Peach Café is a delightful restaurant with a charming and inviting atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to provide helpful recommendations. They offer a wide variety of comforting dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had a delightful breakfast with the Nuts & Bolts, which included pancakes and French toast, accompanied by bacon and Andouille sausage. For dessert, we indulged in the cafe vanilla and sipped on freshly squeezed orange juice. Overall, the Peach Café is a wonderful place to enjoy a fair priced meal.
The Peach Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Monrovia. Love the service, love the food. They have outside seating, but in the wintertime, it's rather chilly. Inside, it's more cozy, but it gets loud. There is available street parking. If you don't find anything in front of the building, it's always a nice walk to the free parking the city provides all around.
This is a very popular cafe and rightfully so, both food and beverages tasted amazing. We waited 45 minutes to an hour for our table and would say it was worth it. It's far away from me, but next time I'm in this city, would eat here again!
These stars are well deserved. The phrase is "hidden gem". There might be a wait, but it's SO worth it. As with any good experience it's the details and it's starts at the door. The hostess was warm and informative. The staff relaxed and friendly. If you are a coffee snob- the barista is working on a La Marzocco (IYNYN). Best Latte in years!! Come for coffee, stay for food. Great flavors, chill vibes.
I'm not from the area, I live two hours away, but the last four months have been coming up to the area very frequently. My Aunt found this establishment and I fell in love with it. The pictures of the food are just the few times I've came but at one point I was coming in almost everyday day for three weeks lol. The food has always been amazing and I LOVE their coffee <3 The servers have always been kind and attentive and everyone always seems to be enjoying their food. My FAVORITE thing to get is the turkey croissant sandwich with onion rings with a hot cafe latte to drink. Their bathrooms are clean. The restaurant is clean. BUT one thing I will state is that if you have a hard time climbing up stairs, you'll have a hard time getting to their bathrooms as you do have to go up a few steps to get to them. That's just how the establishment was built. I think everything is reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food you get. Half the time I can't finish it and I stay full most of the day. If I do get hungry again, the left overs are more than enough to keep me satisfied for the rest of the day. So yeah, love this place, love the food, love the service, recommend for everyone to come in and try it! I know whenever I'm in the area I always try to make my way there.
Went here for lunch after my oncologist appointment at City of Hope. The food was amazing. The service was great. Felt like they were genuinely happy to have us dine there. Went back before one of my infusions and had the exact same experience. So nice to have a place that starts my day off with a happy belly.
I have visited Peach Cafe many times with friends and family and it is truly a special place. Morgan and Dana (the two managers) are always friendly and make certain each table receives excellent service. The food is always made of fresh and quality ingredients and presented very well. Peach is very consistent and is one of my favorite go to places. They do get busy, so it's a good idea to call ahead and check wait times. But, it is well worth the wait!
A hidden gem. Food was fantastic. We had Mont Cristo and house chorizo and scrambled eggs
My wife and I love having breakfast here. We don’t get to visit as often as we’d like, but every time we do, the food is consistently delicious and very reasonably priced. The service is always excellent, even with the regular wait—which is absolutely worth it. Today, our server was Lexie. Although my wife and I ordered the same dish, each of us had very specific preferences, and she got every detail exactly right. Later in our meal, I noticed her scanning the dining room, proactively looking for ways to assist customers. Her focus and attentiveness really stood out. Lexie provides exceptional customer service and clearly takes pride in her work. She’s the kind of employee who will go far with that kind of dedication. Great job to the Peach Cafe staff and management. We’ll definitely keep coming back for more great meals. Thank you!
If you’re looking for a delicious, cozy breakfast/brunch spot, The Peach Café in Monrovia is a real gem! I usually order the Life Rice meal (you can see it in the photo — excuse the fact that I had already started eating before remembering to snap a picture, but honestly, it still looks pretty good!). The Life Rice is $16.95 and comes with brown rice, egg whites, broccoli, spinach, pesto, and avocado, served with whole grain bread and fresh fruit. It’s fresh, flavorful, healthy, and satisfying without feeling heavy — a perfect choice if you want something hearty but still light. Prices here are very reasonable — not cheap, but definitely fair for the quality and portion sizes you get. I haven’t explored much of the menu yet because, honestly, when I find a meal I love, I tend to stick with it over and over before trying new things. (If you’re like that too, you’ll understand!) The atmosphere is just as good as the food — relaxed, welcoming, and clean. I highly recommend The Peach Café for breakfast if you’re in the area. Definitely looking forward to trying more dishes whenever I finally switch it up!
Old town Monrovia is cute and has great vibes. This cafe is just off the beaten path and is definitely a great spot to have breakfast. The granola pancakes are lovely with great flavors. I wish they had had more real maple syrup, but they were running out apparently. The bacon was cooked to perfection! All in all it was good food for a reasonable price, with great serving staff.
Such a gem in old town Monrovia! It is not a big restaurant but cozy, and has a very cute cabin decor. What impressed us the most was the service, the entire staff was sweet. Not to mention, coffee was good, and the food we had was tasty. I especially enjoyed the crispy scalloped potatoes, and the Huevos Rancheos was also really good! All in all, it was a great first experience. Will be returning soon!
My sister recommended this place and it did not disappoint! The wait was shorter than they thought it would be and it did not take too long to get the food. There was a delay on espresso beverages since they have to be made one at a time, but they were so nice and made sure to update us. I had a cafe mocha and the Nuts and Bolts. Our server was super nice and answered all of my stupid questions (yes- Andouille is spicy!). Will return if I’m ever back in California!
Let me start by saying that the 50 minute wait was worth it! The food and drinks are delicious! My friend and I came here for brunch and ordered a flight of mimosas (guava, strawberry, raspberry, and peach), an iced caramel latte, breakfast panini with a side of potatoes, avocado egg Benedict and to seal our brunch we had a cinnamon roll. For the cinnamon roll I would prefer it with less icing but that’s just me. My friend thought it was good just the way it was. She’s a sweet tooth. Everything was very delicious! The service was excellent. We will definitely return. They have indoor and outdoor dine in.
It was great! Parking is street only so you might have to walk a little. We were greeted and seated right away. We were seated outside so it was really hot! Our iced water became just water in minutes. Food took about 25-30 mins to come out but it was worth the wait. It tasted marvelous! Must try! Scallop potatoes crispy well done is a must
Peach is my favorite spot in Monrovia. Though their Breakfast is what they are known for... however, my go to is the PC Burger. Hands down best burger in town. Their Bacon is also delicious and worth a shot out. Staff is always friendly and helpful. This is the brunch spot you didn't know you needed. From Espresso to mimosas, they got you covered. Make sure to stop in if you're in the area.
Peach Cafe is still going strong as one of our go-to brunch spots in Old Town! I love their lattes and most breakfast items - I’ve also tried several of their salads since my last review and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. Their salads are chopped nicely with great flavors and perfect amounts of dressing already mixed in - they come with a choice of bread and I always love to get their cornbread. On my last visit I sampled some of the hubby’s chicken pesto salad - very skeptically bc I have never been a fan of pesto - but it was fantastic and is what I’ll be ordering next time we stop by! I also tried their Peach Omelet with ham, peppers, and so much pepper jack cheese to produce a fantastic melty cheese pull - it was delicious! As my side I did try and give their scalloped potatoes another try and my verdict on those is still the same unfortunately - they have a nice texture but are so bland that I had to add a bunch of salt and pepper so I likely won’t get these again until it’s been long enough for the amnesia to set in and I think of giving them yet another chance lol. They still offer their popular mimosa flights with lots of unique flavors like guava and mango. But their coffee is some of my fave in the area - all of their lattes have been great and I especially love their con panna! Vibes are cozy. Staff are always lovely and so warm and welcoming. Prices are decent for the area and portions are generous. Lines get long on the weekends and it’s usually pretty busy even on weekdays so plan ahead.
This location is in Old Town Monrovia on Colorado between Myrtle and Ivy. It was a unique dining experience. I asked for sides of one egg with cheese and bacon to accompany an ordered waffle. The waffle was served with the sides mixed together in a small fruit bowl. I immediately asked what the fruit bowl mixture was and explained that I didn't order that. They apologized and offered to remake it (send it back to the kitchen). I did not accept the offer. My experiences in those types of instances (as of late), do not end well. I decided to continue with my meal. The waffle was flavorful. The mixture would have been fine except for burnt bacon bits. The prices are competitive. Parking is ample due to free public parking lots.
