Bomb. Really good flavor. Beer on tap. Best ramen in the I.E
Finally! Good ramen in my area ! I have tried all the places nearby, but always had to drive at least 15 min to another city to find a decent ramen place. Wished I could have been able to describe how it is to eat in this place, but I can at least review the togo experience, during COVID-19 . Food I would say the food I got were all packed with flavor. To top off the flavor, the noodles were at the perfect consistency, where it wasn’t too soggy or hard. We ended up getting the: Kotsu Kick - some spicyness, creamy goodness broth ! Vegan Kotsu Great to also know that this place is Vegan friendly, so I wouldn’t have to worry if there was something my kid can’t eat. The best thing I would say, is the packaging. Everything packed with their bag, felt so much nicer then just a plastic bag. Even the bowl, was extremely easy ! All the ingredients for the ramen was actually in a layer in the bowl! Mind blown! Staff had masks on, and the lady that helped us made fast and easy. Definitely will be back soon to satisfy my ramen craving! Until next time !
An excellent ramen experience! Everything tasted fresh and the broth is super yummy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dining area is clean and nice with lots of seating and a bar. They serve local craft beers and the menu is excellent. Offering a good selection if food and drinks. Pricing is on point with quality and overall is a great ramen restaurant.
I got the Shoyu Ramen and liked it so much had to post about it! I dont know if its because I was so hungry, but I was really surprised by the quality of food and great price too! I never expected to-go ramen would taste this good! The ramen and broth is separated so you don't have to worry when you get carry-out.
The vegan creamy ramen was the best thing I've tried in a long time. Wow just wow it was absolutely delicious!
I love the ramen here! My go-to is the creamy vegan kick because I love the brussel sprouts, but I make sure to add the egg because it doesn’t come with it. The service has always been friendly and helpful. They have a new service bot to deliver your ramen which I think is just the cutest! I give this place 5 stars all around!
This food was awesome. This is the best Ramen I’ve ever tasted Kutsu Ramen is delicious.
Went today for the first time and everything I had was DELICIOUS! The Kotsu Kick gad just the right amount of spice and super flavorful! I was super impressed. The chef was kind and explained the menu which felt welcoming too! In the mood for some yummy ramen make sure to come here!
I cannot say this enough... if you are looking for a ramen spot...LOOK NO FURTHER...I was completely floored by the amount of flavor in my order tonight. My wife and I came in to find out that they were under new ownership. And they are AMAZING. I ordered the kotsu curry up ramen deluxe and my the Hai five gyoza. My wife ordered the kickin Og with chicken karage.the chicken was soft and delicious. But HOLY CRAP the kotsu curry up was amazing. I knew this even before digging in fully. Theres was so much flavor and just the right amount of spice. I wish I would have taken pictures before I tore up the pretty presentation. I feel like I know how Gordon Ramsey feels when he eats something absolutely delicious. I wanna give this place 100/10. This place is moving to my number one ramen spot hands down!.
Got kotsu kick deluxe with chicken for 2nd meat i did not realize there was mushrooms at first. I had to remake it but tastes amazing food, fresh, a very good portion, friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. You do have to order & pay before eat
The food was truly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. Considering the generous portions, the value for the price was excellent. We have no complaints whatsoever and highly recommend this restaurant!!! We'll be coming back more often 👌👌
Excellence!! We appreciate flavor!! We appreciate authenticity especially when it comes to FOOD!! 🍜 Location is great wasn't too crowded and my entire family enjoyed it! Very very delicious recipe here at Kotsu Ramen and Gyoza. Oh and by the way the videos were amazingly delightful and bursting with flavor! I got the Kotsu Flame which is the hottest one and it was just right if you like spicy!! My three-year-old daughter got the chicken and rice and whatever kind of sauce that is on the chicken is amazing! We appreciate you guys for the good food and good service we will be coming back and I recommend everyone to come try it!

This place is fairly close to the airport which was great! We got to enjoy a wonderful dish of ramen before flying out. The employees were kind and very helpful. We were greeted with a smile and was gave a concise summary of the menu. We both order the spicy chicken ramen and a sample of all the gyozas. We would recommend ordering both dishes!
First timer and it is a wonderful experience to have had. The food is well cooked, proportions are more than exceptional and presentation of the dish itself is more than just a work of art in every bite‼️ In addition, the service is top tier‼️‼️‼️ Had a few questions in regards to the menu an certain ingredients and the young lady was more than willing not only able to explain but provided a visual which I was more than happy with whereas most places are reluctant even to do so… will definitely be back possibly with a date😉
The chicken was very good in my noodle soup. Just be careful that you do not get your close dirty. Do not wear white shirt if you're a messy eater lol.
I gotta admit this one took me by surprise. Holy smokes this place is amazing top to bottom. The employees are super nice and accommodating. The food. AMAZING!. Definitely our new ramen place. The pork is put of this world. You also cant beat a cold Sapporo on tap. This place gets 5 stars. 2 thumbs and a huge recommendation. You have to visit and try it! Worth it!
This place is beyond amazing. I have come here a few times but this is my first time under the new ownership. I will definitely be coming back. The ramen is top tier. I has the original kotsu, kotsu curry, gyoza and chicken karaage (original). This has become my number one ramen place. My husband also a chef and was so amazed as well. The flavor is immaculate i recommend this place to anyone who loves ramen! Also they allow free self serve refills!! I will definitely be coming back.

Decent Ramen spot in the Inland Empire. Located right by the Mont Clair Plaza accross the street from Costco. The service is very good. Friendly servers and great food quality. You can enjoy sit down or take out! Sometimes due to how busy they can get its better to do a togo order. Broth is very well done taste's very authentic. Overall 4.3/5 Taste 4.5/5 Quality 4/5 Service 4.5/5 Cost: $$
The broth and the pork are amazing. The spice is a perfect match with a rich broth. The only downside is the quality of the noodles. If they had better noodles, it would be an easy 5 star. The atmosphere is decently quiet. Most of the talking was between the employees but it was a nice aura. Overall great, but could be even better.
The soup has a good flavor. I think it would be even better if the type of noodle matched the soup more. Inside, it was a little smoky, so my eyes were irritated, just like Ichi’s.
Ramen was excellent and I especially loved the thick cut pork. The gyoza could've been more crispy but I got it for the spiciness which it delivered in spades. The crispy tuna rice was okay. Could be more active with customers coming and going.

Ramen is good, but they need to up their karaage game! The batter is thick (reminds me of popcorn chicken) and the meat tastes a little plain. The main star seems to be the sauce. IMO, a real karaage should be crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, typically marinated with sake and soy sauce.
I came here on my lunch break to grab a quick bite to eat and was disappointed. I've always seen this restaurant on my way to Costco and finally got to try it. I ordered the karaage donburi and the takoyaki. The takoyaki was pretty good; crispy hot and with large pieces of octopus, but the sauce was really weird and it was served with wayyyy too much ginger. The karaage was kind of miserable. The chicken itself was a little too bready. Came with different toppings than what was listed on the menu; no bean sprouts and came with a ramen egg, which I was disappointed by as I don't eat eggs and specifically ordered a bowl without them. Absolutely DROWNING in sauce, and the sauce was the same as the takoyaki. Some kind of soy sauce sesame mayo that tasted like neither karaage sauce or takoyaki sauce. I will say that the portion sizes are huge for what you pay. Service was a little slow there were 3 employees working when I came in, two servers and one cook. I was told my food would take 15 minutes and it took about 25. Inside the restaurant was pretty uninviting and a little grimy.
The audacity to charge $17/18 for a bowl of ramen is small and skimpy. Then on top of that you make customers feel stupid on the way out. How do I order in person to go, stand in the doorway for 25 mins then the cashier tells me my order is ready and then ask me my name.... Like I'm going to steal food that I paid for? I've been standing there the whole time. Even if it's policy to be safe you could still see I'm that same dam person. $32 on the smallest amount of food I've gotten from any ramen place. Everyone do yourself a favor and head to Menkoi Ya in Claremont. Better food and prices and they can trust customers.
Keep in mind that it's under new ownership..so far the service is not the same as before. One person cooking and one in front doing everything.(cleaning tables, taking orders).

Before the new ownership, the food quality was more consistent and the portions were better. I paid 11.34 for chicken karrage and got 5 small nuggets. At the San Dimas location, you actually get a full portion. The ramen and chicken was good, but I’m unhappy with the small portion.

I bought the dumplings (hai 5) and the chicken karaage and they usually give you a sauce for the hai 5 and karaage and they didn’t put either in my order, made everything bland. Please do not staple my bag close if you’re not going to add everything that it needs smh
Ramen was not good. The noodles are hard and the broth is simple. Does not have the complexity of flavors it should have. Not worth it for the money. It was our first time there and the waiters were rude. They did not help us on how the ordering system worked. There were 4-5 workers. And three of them were on their phones and just chatting. Why would a restaurant need that many workers if they aren’t serving you or helping the customers? We were expected to carry the bowl of ramen to our own table. And carry the water to our table. I do not recommend going to this restaurant.
I arrived at the restaurant feeling excited, though aware that it was under new management. Upon entering, I immediately noticed a shift in the atmosphere, and the menu had undergone slight changes. The person taking our order had an indifferent attitude, which set the tone for the rest of the experience. After placing our order, we were allowed to choose a table, but when we sat down, it was clear the cleanliness was lacking: The table was dirty with a random empty plastic bottle and had a sticky residue. The cups provided were also sticky, and the napkin dispenser was covered in dust. As we poured water from the glass container into our cups, I had to get up and ask for ice. The water itself had an odd aftertaste, which was unpleasant. While waiting for our food, one of the cooks brought it to our table--unfortunately, he had a very strong body odor, which was quite off-putting, especially since he was serving our food. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning, so as we tried to enjoy our hot ramen, we were sweating in the stifling heat. On a positive note, the ramen was just as delicious as I remembered. I may consider returning for takeout, but this location is no longer suitable for a sit-down dining experience.
I visited this establishment today and I arrived at 2:40pm and placed my order at 2:54pm. I ordered 2 ramen bowls, edamame, chicken karagee. From the looks of it they were understaffed, as they took about an hour to provide us with our meal. During the time that we were waiting 1 party decided to leave as they waited over 30 min and they did not receive their meal. As the customer requested a refund he wanted a printed copy of the voided invoice the cashier did not know how to print the voided invoice and asked someone in the kitchen if they can help and the person in the kitchen told her to tell the customer the printer isn’t working. Another party was hesitant on leaving as they waited over an hour for their meal. Throughout all of this the cashier was the only person greeting customers, taking orders, and running food as well as cleaning tables and refilling water pitchers. The cashier clearly needed help as she asked someone in the kitchen where is the other server. Once the food arrived the food was fresh and hot which is a good thing but it looked a little obvious that the cooks were prioritizing mobile orders, such as uber eats, door dash, and phone orders. Overall the taste of the food was great but they lack speed of service and attention to orders and customers.

I have always had a great experience with this restaurant until recently. I ordered take-out to my surprise my pork was burnt. I will give this place another chance

The ramen is really good, which is the only reason I keep ordering. Unfortunately, the service is very poor. Almost every order comes with mistakes — missing items, wrong items, or food that’s burnt. It’s extremely frustrating to deal with this repeatedly. Great food, but serious issues with order accuracy and service. 😫🤯

Terrible service and waited for quite awhile to even order around 10 mins with no one around. Literally left to get dos amigos instead and I don't regret it.
This used to be my favorite ramen place in Ontario/Upland/Montclair & since the new ownership it had gone downhill. While I was visiting on a Monday afternoon they were EXTREMELY short staffed (one cook one cashier) and it was steaming hot inside, no AC running. When I asked the cashier about it she smiled and didn’t mention anything. Needless to say I took my soup to go because I didn’t feel like sweating while eating it. This will unfortunately be my last time visiting after being a faithful customer for 5+ years.
Got the OG- broth looks like dirty sink water and tastes like nothing and the pork was burnt For the chicken karaage it was basically marinated chicken that got put in the fryer no breading Shame on me for not realizing it was close to closing, shame on this place for accepting my order anyway. I’d rather be told no than receive any of what I got.
My meal took an hour to come out, and only after waiting was I told that the rice wasn’t ready yet. The restaurant wasn’t busy to the point to wait an hour, so I don’t understand why it took so long. The food was okay, but overpriced for the experience. Definitely disappointed
Poor customer service, they don't take dine-in after 9pm. Even weekend. I tried to call ahead they don't pickup the call and upon arrival they told me only take out. Group of 6 to 7 behind me were rejected for dine-in and they tried to order to-go but some things not available. Fill bad for them and they just left.
This place was honestly quite disappointing. First, with "ramen & gyoza" in their name, you can't even order any gyoza online as it's "limited offering" and have to call in to order instead. They also only have two options: regular and spicy. For having the item in the name of their restaurant, this was not impressive at all. Then once having picked up my order, the condition in which I received the gyoza (regular) was not appetizing. They were flat, squished, and stuck together, mushy in texture, and rather bland. In fact, that's how the ramen (kotsu deluxe) itself was as well. The broth was bland, the noodles were also mushy, and the "chashu" was actually full on thick slabs of pork belly. It was the only thing that really had any flavor, but that is not you'd expect as chashu in ramen. My sister got the shoyu delight in chicken broth with chicken chashu. It wasn't much better, again with a bland broth and the chicken being the only thing with much flavor. She didn't even finish the noodles. So overall, it was a very disappointing experience and will not be back again.
We came to this location because it was closer to our house, but was worried because it isn't our usual location, which is the San Dimas location. After this experience, I won't return unfortunately. When we walked in, it was nice and clean and completely empty, which is fine, but we were the only people the entire time we spent here. Both my husband and myself were convinced that we would not return, from ordering the food. The cashier was unfriendly, uninviting and we felt like we annoyed him by coming into this establishment. One way to run away customers is bad service and it wasn't friendly. I can't say rude, but uninviting it what my husband stated. He ordered the tori (chicken or bird in Japanese ) and I ordered the Tonyu (vegan ) ramen and the vegan gyoza. The food was great, except in mine, I had a few issues that made me feel worried about my bowl. First off, I am a vegan for many reasons and one of those is, allergies to animal foods and products.. I could potentially end up in an ER if I consume the wrong thing. There were two hard pieces of what looked like meat in my bowl 😱 I immediately removed it and made me scared to continue to eat after that. Also, my noodles were stuck together, and not fully cooked, and my brussle Sprouts were mostly uncooked as well. We hurried up and left, when we left, we usually say "Bye" and thank everyone for the meal, and when we did this, one ignored us, the woman said "what?!" And the other just walked away. So, it was official, we won't return.

I used to really enjoy this place because the chashu ramen was good, but after my recent visit I won’t be returning. While dining in, a roach came out from the corner of the seating area and crawled directly onto our table. That alone raised serious concerns about sanitation. The restaurant was also very hot inside and had a noticeable body odor smell that seemed to be masked with incense, which only made it worse instead of addressing the issue. When ordering drinks, I was told one option was out of stock. I then asked for two fountain drinks, but none of the fountain drinks were working. This was never mentioned beforehand. When I pointed it out to the woman at the register, there was no apology and no attempt to offer an alternative drink—just a laugh. I also observed that the TV mounted above the table had visible dust on the top right half but not on the bottom half directly above the table surface. It gave the impression that someone may have stood on the table to clean it. Whether that’s the case or not, it did not leave a good impression regarding hygiene standards. Overall, the experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be coming back.
