A friend recommended this place after having tried their drinks in the China locations. The drinks are great! I got the coconut mango blue and I highly recommend! The wait was a little long but it was a Friday night so I feel that’s expected.

Heytea lives up to the hype. Yes it’s busy, but it' so good. For the best experience, order online, you'll be enjoying your tea in no time. I don't remember what i ordered but it has mango in it.

Suuuuuuper friendly staff, the cute girl made our experience that much better with her friendliness and willingness to recommend drinks to us! I doubted the kale drink but golly was it good 🙈 Sorry~ The spot is prettt popular, so expect a bit of a wait. I like to think where there are crowds of rich and normal asian milennials + Gen Z at a Bubble Tea spot...its probably fire. Highly recommended. General area is a vibe! Tip: download the app!

New spot on the block. So far I’ve been here twice and every drink I have tried has been nothing but Excellent. High quality drinks. A nice tea leaf aroma as soon as you step inside the store. This is how you know you’re drinking high quality, natural ingredients. 10/10 spot.

One of my favorite milk tea I have drink yet. The drink itself taste heavenly, and is definitely worth the price. The only problem is the wait being very long(look at image below. I would definitely buy again once the line is less long.

I think the fruit teas are the best. Matcha drinks are not bad. Pretty small location but the service was fast for how busy it was and store smells nice, had a pleasant floral tea fragrance

I visited this boba spot for all 3 days from 5/9-5/11 of their BOGO promotion because their drinks are so good. I highly recommend the Cloud Crisp Grape--it's not too creamy, not too sweet, and very refreshing. From 5/9-5/11, they also give you a magnet if you review them on Google or Instagram. Overall, this store is a great spot to try. I highly recommend it!

Shoutout to today's cashier at HEYTEA Monterey Park! She was extremely nice, informative, and very helpful with the drinks. I had a few questions about the Mulberry Boom, and she told me everything from ingredients to ice and sugar content. Not very often you encounter someone who knows the menu so well and is actually eager to assist. Excellent service and pick-up experience. Will be back soon!

Pretty good! They're similar to Molly Tea as they serve floral tea, I do prefer Molly as I feel they've perfected the formula better. Their green grape book is very delicious, and the milk tea as well though!

Went yesterday (weekend) the wait was fine. Placed an order on the machine and got the order in 5-10 minutes. The original milk tea is divine. Maybe they were unprepared when they first opened looking at other reviews but it’s fine now in my opinion.

They finally opened up! I noticed the sign a month ago and was super excited to try it out. A lot of my friends from outside the US really like this place. The line was pretty long since it's currently the BOGO opening weekend, but once the order was placed, it only took around 4 minutes to receive the drinks. The inside is basically just an order kiosk, so the venue relies on the foot traffic from the Atlantic Times Square area. Fortunately there's ample outdoor seating in the area. While in line, they were handing out samples of the jasmine tea. If you like strong teas like me, the tea is fantastic, better than another tea place that opened the week before that's supposedly known to have good jasmine teas. I ended up getting the mango coconut boom since a friend outside of the US said that's their favorite drink. With 50% sugar it reminded me of the mango sticky rice dessert you get at Thai restaurants: the mango hits perfectly with the coconut milk. For the BOGO, I got a mango grapefruit boom for my roommate and she really liked it too, with the drink tasting fresh with real fruits. Overall, at $8 a drink, it's pretty pricey and is more expensive than I'd like for a drink, but I would come back again to try the brown sugar bobo or cloud jasmine milk teas. Update: I came back for the BOGO event again and I ended up trying the mango grapefruit boom (50%) and supreme brown sugar bobo milk tea (0% sugar). From last time's drinks, I prefer the mango coconut boom over the grapefruit. The coconut milk just hits different with the mango compared to the milk/cream used in the grapefruit one, although the grapefruit bits in the drink provide a nice refreshing sourness with the sweet mango. For the brown sugar bobo milk tea, I got 0% sugar in order to evaluate the tea flavor. At most places, the brown sugar milk teas with 0% sugar yields pretty much zero tea flavor; you're ordering a milk tea, not a milk. For Hey Tea, it actually came through, although the drink is still very cream-forward in taste. Those who are lactose intolerant, beware. The soft brown sugar bobo balanced the creamy flavor pretty well, and I'd get this drink again if I'm craving a milkshake or some other heavy-cream based dessert. Also as a random note, the drink labels list the tea polyphenol content. This is pretty unique as I haven't seen it anywhere else, but I don't know how useful this information is.

They have the best matcha I’ve ever had but their service is just EXTREMELY SLOWW. I ordered one drink and the app said it would take 30 min. I waited for my drink for a total of 50 minutes before it was ready. That’s kinda crazy. I will only come here if I’m desperate for their matcha.

I don’t understand the hype. The lines are long, they have a lot of workers but are slow. I was the only customer left and waiting for my drink, lo and behold it’s just been sitting there and no one called it out even though they called out previous drink #s. I think that happened the first time we were there as well. It’s pricier for boba, the pistachio king cloud jasmine was $8.99 for a 16oz-ish size cup. The flavors are not memorable, I could barely taste the green tea in my drinks. Drinks are aesthetic but not my cup of tea ☕️

I'm not sure what the hype is for this place :( the lines are always long when I pass by and I finally tried it with my friends. We got the grapefruit drink, a milk tea, the cloud jasmine tea, and the blue matcha drink. The only thing that tasted different and good was the grapefruit. The milk tea tasted so weird, like maybe the milk was expiring. And it was overwhelmingly milk and no tea flavor. Jasmine tea was just your average jasmine tea with cream on top. I don't understand why people wait so long here lol. There are so many boba tea stores along this street, I'd go to The Tea or Sunright before choosing Hey Tea.

I ordered the triple supreme matcha latte, and while the drink was pretty good, the service was unacceptable. The cashier up front was completely oblivious to the fact that the pick up line was 20 people deep. The counter was full of unclaimed drinks, and instead of distributing the drinks, she was taking her sweet time cleaning up the counter with zero sense of urgency.

Tons of drinks just sitting on the counter, because you have to show your number to pick up the order. This location is tiny, so there’s nowhere to form any sort of line. So you have a dozen people all crowding at the counter, half of them trying to cut in front of others so they can show their code first. All of the people waiting inside to pick up their drinks were blocking new customers from entering to place their order on the kiosk. Everyone around me was complaining about this ridiculous situation. It’s chaotic and inefficient. If this is the system they want to use, they should have more than one employee at the front counter…at least on the weekends. It took 25 minutes for me to receive my drinks after placing my order. I saw other reviews saying they waited 1-2 hours! So, I probably won’t return, as it’s too much of a hassle for me.

I tried one of the matcha drinks but I didn't like it and didn't finish it. I like boba milk tea but this feels like sugarified flavored water, like junk food. I think it's overpriced too, they use probably cheap ingredients and charge the same price like it's a milkshake.

Went for their new buy one get one offer and the line was a disaster, staff was slow and the people were not it. After 45~ minute I got my drink and the jasmine one was nothing special but the pistachio was pretty alright. They are not a very organized store. Maybe I was there at a wrong time so all try giving them another chance down the line.

the drinks here are at a great price and great taste. however, my most recent visit was horrendous. we got our drinks within 15-20 minutes on a friday night. one of the drinks were not made to my specifications (minimal sugar). the cashier tonight refused to listen to me about how my drink was made with regular sweetness. she kept saying that grapefruits are really sweet, but i know what a grapefruit tastes like, especially since that is my go to order. so my friend went in to ask another employee who was stationed on sealing the cups and she happily agreed to have our drink remade it. the drink only took about 10-15 minutes to remake, but they switched out our order number without telling us so we ended up standing there for an additional 40 minutes as it got busier and busier. i understand that its gets busy, but there needs to be better communication.

This is my first time trying and their milk tea boba was horrible! The boba was soft like mush, no tea flavor and only the flavor of powdered milk! Sorry to say maybe their milk tea is not their specialty but they shouldn’t name themselves Heytea!

The girl then turned around chit chatting with her coworkers and other customers, purposely trying to irritate me. Because I already paid for my drinks through the app, otherwise I’d just walk away. Overall very bad customer service and the drinks aren’t that great. Totally not worth the wait and the money.

I love HeyTea drinks. The workers here are efficient. However, this location is devastatingly understaffed. The business owners and management should step up their game.
