First time at this restaurant. Very impressed with the service and the quality of the food, as well as the wide range of selections on the menu. The items at the salad bar were fresh and the range of quality items was extensive. One of the best I have had!

We end up at Crazy Horse fairly regularly because we enjoy the salad bar; it has a wide variety of foods, including some hot things! My only "complaint" would be that it doesn't seem to ever change. The setting is relaxing and the staff doesn't ever rush customers out of there. Definitely a good value.

We came in for lunch after searching for organic restaurants. We have food allergies and found that the owner, chef and staff were very interested in our safety and enjoyment of the meal. I ordered the burger with bacon jam and could not hold back the "OMG" with the first bite. This grassfed burger was The Best burger I have had, anywhere including at home. My husband has the tri tip bbq and with custom secret sauce and he was equally impressed. The Cole slaw is awesome, with apple slices and prepared so fresh and crisp. We each had the garlic fries. My hips told me to stop eating them halfway through but my taste buds said "hell no". They have only been open for sit down service and I think the earlier reviews caught them at the beginning. I hope they all give a chance again. We will definitely return. Service and food are really great.

Went here with my girlfriend for a quick meal after going to the aquarium. Located at the Red Lion Inn the entrance was actually located around the back of the hotel & not the door on the 2nd floor of the hotel, which confused us & we thought it was closed. But we figured out it was actually around the back of the hotel entrance. Restaurant is “Fast Casual” a term I never heard before. She had the chicken taco salad & I had the fish tacos. We both loved our meals. That was THE BEST fish taco I’ve ever had!!!

The Crazy Horse Restaurant is a prime example of "don't judge a book by its cover". It's not a place for taking Instagram photos. It's a place for good food that reminds you of home. Every member of the staff will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal. We even made a dumb request for chocolate milk when it wasn't really something they had readily available on the menu, but they made it for us anyway with zero hesitation. They seemed to genuinely care. The salad bar is far more than a salad bar. It's more like a mini buffet. Absolutely everything exceeded my expectations, including their effort to be environmentally friendly. A little goes a long way. It might seem like a stupid thing to include in a review, but it's incredibly important for coastal cities.

Last leg of a business trip and stopped here for dinner as it showed up in Google Maps suggested close place. Other guides showed great reviews so I have to agree. Price quality good and the Red Lion in house was a great pick. It’s nice for the price and clean. Looking forward to breakfast at Crazy Horse and the drive back to Orange County.

I really liked the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. I had expected a loud, busy family restaurant. However, what I got was an intimate type but not overly stuffy environment. The service at this place is amazing. Everyone was very friendly from the time we entered till we left. I had the steak which was made just how I like it. Very tender and spiced just right. My wife had the chicken parmesan. She is pretty picky about her chicken parmesan but she really enjoyed it here. So now let's discuss the salad bar. It is a pretty big salad bar so if that's all you get you will still leave full and happy. I recommend this place for a date night or even a family night. I will definitely return.

Best salad bar in the area! They even give you desert, a scoop of ice cream, thrown in for the about $13 price. The soups are great. The clam chowder is homemade. The spicy chicken tortilla soup is spicy. Be sure to ask for their salad bar rewards card for regular customers. It can get crowded on weekend nights, but weekdays less so.

What a value! Awesome salad bar, with so many options. Good menu, with reasonable prices and sizable portions. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Would definitely go back again!

Finally, Google map showed us a salad buffet near by! Only had the salad bar buffet and it was great! Everything was still fresh (except cut melons and pinapples) when we got there around 45 mins to closing time. They brought out more pasta salad too (although a little blend, fixable by adding their creamy Italian dressing). Cornbread and cream of mushroom soup were excellent. I would avoid the marinated mushrooms cause all I tasted was vinegar. Overall it was worth it ($13.95/ person) and we'll be going back!

Well, 1st time there. Parking a bit tight but, nice facility and might be great for groups of 6 or more. Big salad bar with lot in it. They seem proud of their beer menu. Also, serve what seems to be a big breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. Disappoint was ordering a Monterey melt well done and having it come out bleeding.

The chicken strips were OK, but the barbecue sauce was a bit odd -- not sweet, maybe more vinegary, which wasn't what I'm used to. The bill, with Coke, after tax, was $14.46. The food was adequate, but not exceptional. The service was reasonably fast, and the ambience was like a very casual country diner. Overall, if you're at the Red Lion and want a quick meal or don't want to go out, the Crazy Horse is OK. Otherwise, I would suggest going across the street to the Del Monte Center where there are more restaurants with more choices and better than adequate food.
