They have arguably the best tacos in the area. For any taco the sauce is what makes or breaks them and the sauces here are superb, specially the spicy guacamole sauce. The meat choices are incredible as they have many that most other restaurants do not. As a street truck they do not have any seating or restrooms available but it's not a problem if you order to go.

I can only share my experience for the veg food. It's good. The place is clean and has ample parking space. Their veggie quesadilla and veggie burrito is great. One might find it a little costly, but I think the additional cost is for location.

Went with hubby. I got a huarache and he got tacos. It was my first time trying huarache, i liked the flavor. The meat was great as well the beans. I would recommend going there. Only thing is that they don't have chairs or tables. We ate standing up. Still was worthy. We took our dog with us. There was no issue with him. 😁

Really good food, for really affordable price. Ever since I moved from San Jose to Palo Alto, I have constantly struggled to find good Tacos. This place finally hit the spot. Their Tacos are absolutely delicious! Great ingredients, and ample time and sauce available. To jazz up on flavors. Ample parking as well.

They fry their meat well. So, the crispiness of the asada bits are a plus. Salsa is tasty, but the green salsa can be very hot. The price is reasonable, $3.25 per taco. The only negative thing would be, the food used to be tastier. I think they lack salt in some items.

I did liked the crispy goodness and there were morsels of fat mixed in to give it a flavor pop. They were super generous on the amount of meat and didn't pack it with rice and beans. Overall it is a great choice with lots of flavor and would be happy and super satisfied to cure any hunger. Parking is abundant. Service was quick and top notch!

We have been going here for a couple of years now. A good Friday or Saturday late night stop to grab some Carnitas Tacos or burritos. You have to check it out !!!

The food is amazing. They run several food trucks, and the problem with some of those food trucks is that you can clearly see the cook is not wearing a facemask while working. The food truck were I have seen this is the one in the gas station at Rengstorff with Middlefield. I unsuccessfully tried to reach out to the managers/owners via Facebook. It would most definitely be 5 stars if this wasn't an issue.

I live nearby and come all the time. Sometimes the food is incredible, is hot and tastes amazing. Sometimes the food is meh - lukewarm and not flavorful. Lots of the time there are piles of garbage bags laying on the ground leaving the whole area stinking like garbage. I hope the owner reads this and figures out what to do with their garbage because it can ruin the experience

Salsa is nice and spicy. The tortilla is way too thick/hard for my liking though. A lot of people says that the food is inconsistent so maybe it's typically better. Might return for another try.

This taco truck is a hit and miss. They can make the most delicious Mexican food one day and the next visit it's atrocious. The biggest problem is they sometimes use cheap steak cuts with heavy chunks of fat. My most recent Carne Asada burrito had 3 large chunks the size of a dime. Changed the texture completely.

I don't get the hype, I can only imagine they used to be way better. And for the record, I do think you can get pretty good tacos outside of San Jose. Had the carnitas and pastor tacos. Carnitas was very disappointing - neither crispy nor juicy, just shredded/diced roast pork. The pastor was nicely crispy, but still bland. The spicy guac was the highlight.

Loved the metro design of the truck! Tacos are right on size and shape but I was not amaze of the flavor. The meat tasted a bit like burn oil and not juicy. Salsas were ok, would be nice to have a version of that salsa verde with less Chile.

The chips are terrible. Don't bother with them. Tacos: the al pastor, carnitas, asada were all bland and the meat was dry. The salsa only flavor was heat. It wasn't disgusting but it certainly wasn't good.

Went due to google reviews. First the menu prices were way out of date. Tacos were $3.75 not $2.25 as shown. It's pretty standard and not that great taco truck. Ambience at car wash is not that pleasant, no place to sit and eat. Service was good.

Definitely the suadero doesn't have flavor and it was a bit dry, the tripas were just the same. I've heard about this place being so good, but in my opinion there are other places way better than this taco truck. My honest review.

This truck used to be so good , what a disappointment my last visit , the meat was so dry and no flavor, I wonder if they changed ownership, I had this truck in the too 5 in the south Bay Area , with so many trucks out there this days being cheap and not getting rid of the meat they overcooked it’s not the way to go

I did not enjoy the Burrito Carne Asada. The meat was not chopped completely.(1in-1 1/4 in size) it was grisley and really dry! At least two, $4 Mexican Coca-Colas. Pricey!! for the quality of burrito. Go Chavez Market!!

My wife and I just got two completely inedible carne asada burritos at the El Conrro truck on Rengstorff. The meat is legitimately inedible - dangerously poor quality (see picture). Very sad since we live in the neighborhood. We've had some positive experiences in the past, but we've now had two instances of inedible meat. No way the folks making the food would have eaten this.
