My favorite for years. One of the two O.G. boba places in the peninsula area, and it's stood the test of time. A woman-owned and operated joint, Jean is super inspirational, doing almost all of the work herself with the occasional appearance of her husband doing some organization in the back. This place also serves the largest Large size I've ever seen for boba, and it's SO worth it. You can get those classic originals as well as newer options, but not the over-the-top showiness (and expense) of some other newer places.

Vegan friendly, quick and easy electronic ordering with fast and friendly service. Great boba and bean options, taro chunks are a favorite! Best Boba West of the Mississippi (in Mountain View). :)

Perennial favorite bubble tea spot, just off Castro St in Mountain View. They offer a good selection of flavors and a few snack and dessert options as well. It's a narrow space that can get cozy, but the crowd is pretty relaxed. They have been observing COVID precautions more recently with no indoor seating and only one party allowed inside to order or pick up at a time.

I love this place 😭 The strawberry popping boba is delicious and I have yet to not like anything I've ordered here I've had strawberry milk tea, coffee milk tea, and a strawberry banana slush 🥰 There's usually a bit of a wait (I think we just catch peak times a lot lol) but it's not too bad

This is my favorite boba! My go to is earl Grey milk tea with boba and herbal jelly and I find it's one of the only places that offer that flavor!!! I also love the seating and I get the popcorn chicken less spice and that is also very good!☃️

This place is stuck in time. The boba price and food price is the same price boba used to cost years ago. The coconut smoothie is a good recommendation! The teas are also tasty and doesn’t taste nasty. 100% would highly recommend everyone here if they’re in the area.

Hands down my favorite boba tea shop in Mountain View. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is huge. Depending on the day I love an Iced Oolong tea with popping fruit boba or a classic black milk tea with boba pearls. Yum!!

This place consistently has good texture boba and well mixed teas. I am a frequent visitor and the person who takes orders generally remembers to ask if I want decaf if I forget to order it at night. I particularly enjoy the honey milk tea, the Thai tea, the taro milk tea, and the sesame milk tea. The black pearl milk tea is a good value if you want boba and don't have a particular flavor in mind as the price includes boba. Edited to add: - This place remains consistent and a good value for the area. It is particularly cost effective to split a large between 2 people. I feel the amount of boba they give is generous, especially in the large. - This place has fried snacks available. - Their seating area and restroom is open again after closure during COVID. - They have no changing table.

Came here during the Mountain View Art & Wine festival on Saturday afternoon. This place has all kinds of drinks -- Frothy Milk Tea and Iced Tea, smoothie freeze, fruit juices, hot tea and coffee, and snacks. For drinks, I like the options for toppings, milk alternatives like almond milk, and the various percentage of sweetness to choose from. I ordered the Matcha Red Bean smoothie with Oat milk and 25% sugar at the kiosk. The wait for the drink wasn't long at all. I like the taste and the texture of this frozen drink. Perfect for the half sunny half overcast semi-humid day.

I ordered one Thai tea and a Rose milk tea. Very delicious. Girlfriend enjoyed as well 😄. Would recommend!

My friend got a mango juice with popping boba and he loved it. The price is the best I have ever seen. The sizes are massive. It took a long wait though.

The best and most authentic boba place in silicon valley. The makers here are from Taiwan and have experience making boba from Taiwan when boba first came out. They have a wide variety of selections including decaf black tea or decaf green tea in any tea flavored drink you choose and that is exactly what i order for myself each time i go. There drinks are made right to taste each time i go and i feel really soothed each time after. Their pop corn chicken is also very authentic the kind you find in night markets in Taiwan. My kids and my husband order from them and I'm certainly addicted. The service is good and their drinks n food are amazingly delicious. I've been to so so MANY boba places and this is my favorite. You have to try it!

for the last several years, food quality has been great and consistent. you can make things not sweet and still refreshingly good due to superior quality of the tea. the only tea place around town with decaf tea options that we enjoy as well. that's decaf tea -- not super sweet fruit sugar drink alternatives. service is always excellent as well.

I love verde and I used to go to the cupertino one all the time as a kid before it closed. My boyfriend and I come here all the time for the nostalgia. The drinks are still amazing and the popcorn chicken is delicious! Our fav is strawberry jasmine milk tea :)

Cheapest boba tea around and it's not bad. Great choice of flavors, but nothing stands out. Flavor of the teas are okay. Boba itself is just a bit on the tough side. Great for working, since it's relatively quiet and more cozy than most places. Power outlets are everywhere too. Fried sweet potatoes are good, ask for ketchup.

Extra sweet melon milk tea. A flavor bomb delight. My fave. Almond milk tea is also solid. Coconut cream thick toast is great, but very crumbly, so be prepared to eat it over a plate or the box it comes in, or you'll get messy. The popcorn chicken is yum and the tofu is delicious as well.

This is by far my favorite boba tea place. Their snacks are delicious (tho the salty chicken has to be eaten right away or it turns a bit dry) but fresh it's our TO GO snack as it is super yummy. Service a bit dry, place a bit small. I wish they had another store towards Santa Clara or Cupertino (which they closed without a warning) No matter what! I will keep on going to Mountain View whenever I want some boba tea. Their cheesecake is to DIE for as well as their Penacotta! I took a point off because it's impossible to find parking around there...

I had Milk Black Tea with aloe. It tasted extremely delicious and I had really sore gum+teeth from a dentist appointment a few days before. the aloe soothed me and the tea was to perfect temperature. The only reason I'm not putting five stars is because I wasn't allowed to use a credit card under five dollars. I personally have no idea why that is and why it works that way. The guy at the register was a little snarky about it, but then we came to a mutual understanding that my only form of payment was card. (I've never really NOT used my card somewhere in a long time and I've never been there before). If it's for safety issues, I understand. I only was a little confused and my anxiety got really bad. But the food, excellent. Service was a little off, but.. no one is perfect!

I love this place! Boba: LOVE IT. especially the coconut milk tea, thai tea, sesame milk tea and almond milk tea. Food: decent, they have huge portions for cheap. Try their happy hour meals!!! Service: They are friendly Cleanliness: They need to clean better or hire a cleaning company. A little sweeping and dusting wouldn't hurt. Location: Good location, kind of funny, it's next to a massage parlor that's open till 10 pm. Atmosphere: cool place to hang out in. But a little too small and it gets overly crowded fast. No wonder there's always a line.

This tea cafe has been around for a while. I like the quality of the green tea and the location in the Downtown Mountain View makes it a good place to visit after a meal. For a long while, it has more reasonable and lower price than other boba tea shops. Lately its price has unfortunately increased too.

The "Tea Time Special" gives a reasonable discount for a boba tea + toast (or other snack of your choice), in the afternoon. I like the black sesame tea here better than at Tea Era, but otherwise, the tea is decent, but not as good as Tea Era or Teaspoon. Service is also just so-so. Not too friendly. Sometimes a bit of a wait with grumpy update on order status.

This place is convenient -- it's located right off Castro Street in Downtown Mountain View. If you're in the area for dinner, it's a convenient spot for dessert or to grab a snack (they have things like cheesecake, popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, etc here as well as drinks). The inside is pretty small, so my group sat outside in the chairs against the wall and just stood around to hang out after getting our drinks. There's also a minimum to sit inside and to use a credit card. The drinks here are just average; not particularly great.

Verde is my favorite boba tea place in the area. (Get the pearl milk tea with 1/2 sweetener if you don't have a big sweet tooth.) The drinks are enormous, and they have a nice selection of snacks, too. I like the toast.

Had an avocado smoothie and a popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken isn't my favorite ... I actually didn't really like it much at all.

I was expecting this place to be awesome since there was a long line outside the door. However I just thought it was ok. Although the tapioca was good, the milk tea was watered down which is a huge turn off for me. The price is decent for the amount you get, but overall just an average place.

once upon a time I'd have given these people 4 stars... even when they had roaches for the 4th time. Their prices were great and their food was excellent. Yes, even though they sometimes had roach problems I'd still go there for their food because it was that good. Once they split and tried doing a verde tea kitchen thing, it ruined them. the prices went out of control... quality dropped... then the kitchen location collapsed and they re merged. kept all the problems and even dropped a few items. Sad to see whats become of what was once such a great location.

Stopped in Saturday night (10/21) and literally got a Honey Milk bubble tea that tasted like water. We have probably tried dozens of bubble teas and have never had one this bad. The boba was sweeter than the Milk Tea itself.

Highly dissatisfied. Ordered honey lemon tea, but got a drink which is really sour and bitter. When I informed the guy, he says to add some honey to it. Dude, how can you fix bitterness with honey? And he adds, if you wanna give a complaint please come back on Monday(after 2 days). Dude, my time is really precious, you're asking me to come back wasting my time only to complain about a bitter tea? My time is much more worth than that. I'm paying for something which is not worth and the guy was not at all considerate about it. Why the hell should I waste my hard earned money on you guys. Really careless behavior of the staffs. Do not recommend this to anyone. No customer satisfaction.

Ordeded a Jasmine milk tea. Waited 10 minutes for it. Picked it up, and someone knocked it out of my hand. Made me pay again! My friend said every other place will just remake it without question. They obviously don't care about customers here. Edit: I disputed the charge with my credit card and got my money returned. So, although I went to a second place to get boba, in the end I didn't pay for it.
